Here's are two examples of posts from a previous Ultima Tournament RP:As Gwaz gets to route 1. He gets attacked by almost 50 ugly Patrats. With the help of Misdreavus, he slowly trudges through the mob of pokemon. When he finally gets out, he travels until he finds a pond that looks like a good place to find pokemon.
After about 15 minutes, a family of Nidoran apear. Consisting of 1 Nidoking, 1 Nidoqueen, 4 Nidoran F, and 2 Nidoran M. Gwaz makes sure to stay clear of the Nidoking and queen, as they would easily overpower him and Misdreavus. As he watches the family get to the pond. He sees a third Nidoran M emerge from the woods, away from the rest of the family. Gwaz sends out Misdreavus to start the battle.
"Misdreavus! use psybeam!" The Nidoran quickly jumped to the side and avoided the attack. "Note to self," Gwaz said to himself "This thing is really flipping fast." The Nidoran used a move that appeared to be mud-slap. Misdreavus shook the mud off its face and used swift. The Nidoran hardly even flinched. It came up and stung Misdreavus with its horn, but Misdreavus moved away before the poison could be injected. "Misdreavus, use psybeam again!" called Gwaz. This time the Nidoran couldn't dodge it. After it hit the Nidoran hobbled around aimlessly and Gwaz figured it was confused. "Now use Hex!" he yelled. The Nidoran was knocked back again and Gwaz threw his pokeball.
Gwaz looked over to find the rest of the Nidoran family marching towards him. The pokeball kept on wobbling however. "Come on, come on" said Gwaz, "I dont have time for this"
Finally the pokeball dings and Gwaz picks it up and starts running. He looks back, and just barely dodges a Hyper beam from the Nidoking. "That was too close" he said. "You better be worth it nidoran." The Nidorans Growled behind him, but turned back to the pond.
Gwaz then rushed to the pokecenter."And so, I was like 'Yah okay, you've got a Pidgeotto, so what?' and she was like 'B*tch I own you now' and I was like 'Eeee, you so live inside a bin, you like totes smell like a Grimer' and..." Jacqueline stopped walking as her shoes touched the sand. Looking forward, she saw a small watery Route. It was Route 20. She had walked through Haett without even noticing, too enthralled with her conversation.
"Right, like, this is water, and I like, don't want to swim in it so like, we're going to have to catch a Water Pokemon to ferry us or something?" Then an idea flashed into her mind.
"Like, Mareep, can you like use Thunder Wave in the water, that should like paralyse some things near to you or like make some Pokemon come closer or something."
Mareep walked up to the water's edge, it ruffled its coat, and let out a jolt of lightning far out into the Route. The bodies of some Tentacool rose to the surface. They couldn't move, but they looked angry.
"Like, I don't want a Tentacool, like, they're too small, and they're like, really scary."
Some Barboach also stuck their head out of the water, but they seemed not to be effected by the electric attack. Then on the horizon, a head popped out of the water, and it began to drift closer to Jacqueline.
"Like, is that like a like, a, um, a, er, like a, um, a... Is that like a Lapras or something?" Jacqueline squinted as it came closer "Z.O.M.G. It is like a Lapras! Mareep, like use Thundershock on it or something."
Mareep released a jolt of electricity at the Lapras, which recoiled in pain.
It carried on forward, and released a Water Pulse at Mareep.
"Mareep, like, Charge." Jacqueline said calmly. Mareep's fur was covered in wisps of electricity, and the Water Pulse did less damage than it would have.
"Now, like, Thunder Wave." Jacqueline said, readying a Pokeball from her bag.
The jolt of electricity hit, paralysing Lapras. It couldn't move, and couldn't dodge the Pokeball that Jacqueline threw at it. Lapras was soundly caught, and Jacqueline quickly scanned it:
- Water Pulse
- Ancient Power
- Ice Shard
- Confuse Ray
Calling it out, Jacqueline hopped on its back. "Lapras! We go to Lucida!"Lost heros wrote:I must say you timed this RP perfectly. My last exam is on Friday, and the rest of this week is a half day.
Also how do we get to dragon Island?
You can get there using a boat or Pokémon. Or you could swim (I know somebody is going to swim there)

EDIT: Oh, and although it may seem like it'll be easier to go to special locations in this RP compared to the previous two, be prepared for special events that'll occur for some locations. With this RP, it's all about whether you want to take risks (and there will be HEAVY and real risks this time around) or whether you want to wait for others to take a hit first. It'll all be clearer once the RP starts.
