1. Is there an Income Tax?
No tax is collected upon an individual's income.
2. Is there a GST (or VAT)?
The closest thing to a GSt is the National Sales Tax, which is placed at a 10% rate upon all goods and services. Thanks to our Unitary structure, we only have a National level.
3. Is there an Inheritance Tax?
Yes, but it is only placed upon monetary inheritance and not property. Monetary Inheritance Tax currently exists at a 10% rate.
4. Is there a Financial Transactions Tax
No, since we already have a sales tax, we consider this redundant.
5. Is there a tax on Corporations?
The Corporate Tax Rate has recently decreased from 22% to 15%, which has attracted more companies to invest and operate within our borders thanks to new profits.
6. What other forms of Taxation exist in your nation?
We have a property tax of 6.5% along with a 5% Fine Tax placed on all fines. A Major Magic tax of 25% exists to purchase non-sanctioned magic spells to deter a mystical apocalypse.
7. What are the main sectors of your economy?
Vehicle Manufacturing, Resource Mining, and Weapons Manufacturing.
8. Is there a good business climate in your nation?
Of course. Minimal regulations combined with low taxation rates and an absence of extensive bureaucracy has gifted us with a robust economic powerhouse.
9. Is regulation strong or weak in your nation?
Very Minimal, but they do exist. Empress Ayleth has decreased and abolished several regulations set in place by her predecessor, which allowed our economy to rebound.
10. Are Trade Unions strong or weak?
Only Private Sector unions exist, but are very weak. Right-to-work laws have existed in our nation since its revival thousands of years ago. The majority of citizens, especially the middle and upper classes, find unions to be excessive and counter-productive.
11. Unemployment Rate?
The non-slave citizen unemployment rate is currently at 2.5%. Thankfully, this number is a drastic decrease from the unemployment rate of 13.5% when Ayleth I was coronated.
12. Inflation Rate?
The current inflation rate is 0.9% on the annual scale, the lowest ever since 20 years.
13. Interest Rates?
The current median interest rate is 1.5% annually, again, the lowest ever since 20 years.
14. Is your economy mostly private or public sector?
It is dominated by the Private Sector by a comfortable margin.
15. What is the home ownership rate?
82% of non-slave citizens own their homes, mostly due to the decreasing popularity of renting homes in urban areas.
