I was waiting for you to ask that. Our targets are random. This demonstrates that.

I'm sure you'll get to the detag on it quickly.

Meh. Rarely - what do we do when you don't bother detagging them? Sometimes we have no choice, but we prefer not to.

Most raiders don't think you can be tasteless in a game*.
Nobody should be surprised or shocked by the fact they targeted an Holocaust memorial. It was attacked because it's considered a region like any other (that would be a target, an empty trophy, a name to be added to their list of conquests).

* unless it's someone other than them that is being "tasteless".
In that case, they will destroy your region 8)

I'm sure these are the best towel warmers and it will come in handy here.
So you either don't realize that the NPO's core culture caused a war and the subversion of countless regions, or you just don't care.

I'm waiting for some raider to tell us we're the tasteless ones for comparing raiding an online Holocaust Memorial to defiling a real Holocaust Memorial.

Sunday 21st October 4PM - 5PM GMT

Despite the FRA and UDL doing their best to show they still exist, The Black Riders still took out 9 regions last update. Some split-second timings were achieved.

Troops involved were Camo5768, Koth II, Venico the Rider and Neuskistoliitto. General Halcones was again manning mission control, sending out targets and times.

The defenders failed to save the following regions:

Magicka
Marijuana 4 the masses
DFI
Maidens of the Kaleidoscope
Union of Social renagades
Vizzed
Trixie
The High Council of Transcendence
Great NetHack Conglomerate

Note: The UDL was attempting to detag Magicka - their attempt was crushed by The Black Riders, who re-tagged the region due to defender presence.

It would be petty not to congratulate my adversaries on a job almost-well done. Why can't you pull that many numbers on any update other than a lazy Sunday afternoon? :(

"Marijuana 4 the masses" ? Are these guys really worth raiding?
"Send forth all legions! Do not stop the attack until the city is taken! Slay them all!"
>Can I invade other people's regions?

Yes. The practice of "region crashing," where a group of nations all move to a region with the aim of seizing the WA Delegate position, is part of the game. Certain groups within NationStates are particularly adroit at this, and can attack very quickly.
>Once I've taken over a region, can I eject everyone else?

You can try. Invader Delegates tend to have very little Regional Influence, which makes ejecting long-time residents difficult. But Delegates can be as kind, generous, evil, or despotic as they wish. It's up to regional residents to elect good Delegates.

I used to be in the Black Riders, as 'Bolse.' I mean sure, I was a spy for the defenders, but raiding is much more fun!

Don't be deceived when our Revolution has finally been stamped out and they tell you things are better now even if there's no poverty to see, because the poverty's been hidden...even if you ever got more wages and could afford to buy more of these new and useless goods which these new industries foist on you, and even if it seems to you that "you never had so much" - that is only the slogan of those who have much more than you.

Monday 22nd October 4AM - 5AM GMT

Last update, the stampede changed direction, as The Black Riders instead targeted regions with an inactive founder. This shows no one is safe. 12 regions were taken in total. Defenders didn't feel it was necessary to protect these regions, despite them having an inactive founder.

Troops involved were Scooby-Doo, Koth II, Federation Republic, and Venico the Rider. General Halcones commanded the raids, giving targets and times.

The following regions saw something new tonight:

Beeker Island
Commonwealth states of Camra
The Connection of the World
Goat
The Reconstructed Galactic Empire
Pax Britannica
Pwnzoria
The Las Vegas Strip
Kingdom of Ireland
Safe Army
Pax Imperium
The Cemetary

Typical of you to come back with that - I tend to avoid stating the obvious. Clearly we can't take regions where delegate controls are off, or where there is a password that no one is willing to give out. Thought you'd already know that?

No one is safe (but the obvious).

Congrats on your successful raids and congrats to the defenders for stopping some. It is certainly impressive (to me at least) to such such consistency tagging!

And the stampede continues.... another 11 regions fell to The Black Riders last update. Defenders were out in force again, yet took a while to get themselves going.

Troops involved were Camo5768 and Ragnarok Arisen, while General Halcones supplied targets and times.

The following regions went up in smoke:

Nations of the dark arts
Programmers united
Byonds ragtag group of fools
Arachosia
Imperial Sovereign commonality
Ukon
The Glorious Schism
The Five Year Plan
TEP
Crazy bunnies with wings
United nations of the north west pacific

P.S. Congratulations to TITO on detagging the Holocaust Memorial, despite it being a dead region. Didn't think they cared about such regions? Clearly they do.

Huh. Didn't know Programmers United went founderless, looks like it really died since the last time I checked it out.
