Otherwise, outstanding job.

Perhaps editing your quotes to prevent quote pyramids would be helpful.
Perhaps not arguing with the Moderator who stickied this thread, and even included an explanation of why he did so, would be wise. Perhaps minding my own business would be smart.Perhaps if we stopped threadjacking a sticky we wouldn't get banned.

Er, what? This doesn't even make cohesive sense. You could try Webster's definition or something else that actually conveys what Capitalism is.

Edited To This: an economic system in which investment in and ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange of wealth is made and maintained chiefly by private individuals or corporations

Ecenomic system in which the citizens may start businesses freely with minimum government interference.
And technically, a democracy is a government in which citizens directly vote on government affairs. If republic is up there you mind as well seperate the meanings of democracy and republic.

Edited Definition to Capitalism to make it easier to understand (more blunt terms).
And Added Republic or Indirect Democracy and changed democracy to only include a direct democracy. The Kafers wrote:Suggestion: Add FTL (Faster-Than-Light), STL (Slower-Than-Light), and FTLi (FTL Inhibitor).
Added Both FTL and STL, but I do not understand, nor have I seen any FTLi, could you mind explaining it a bit more?

Now that this has been stickied you should change the name of the Post to "Official Guide to Nationstates Terms"

The Kafers wrote:Prevents people from using FTL systems within its zone of effect. Commonly used, but fairly unique to NS and somewhat controversial; mainly intended to prevent certain undesirable tactics by enterprising players (e.g., missiles that jump right into a defending ship, bypassing all defenses). The use of FTLi should be negotiated in advance to prevent all kinds of undesirable exploits, since FTLi can be abused as well (preventing enemy ships from maneuvering, retreating, etc.).

I am not sure about adding that, since I have never seen that, and I would think that would be an OOC hint. I wouldn't say that it would be IC. But, maybe I am incorrect.

SIC tags aren't all that common, but likely because most either don't know about it, or don't know how to properly use it.
An SIC scene is one that the writer wishes the players/readers to know, but is explicitly forbidding other characters to discover or learn about without prior OOC consent.
A meeting between military leaders that has some reflection on the main story, but which the other characters in the main story should have no way of learning about.
Foreshadowing for a major plot twist or complication. Like the monster moving through a corridor just beyond "detection" range of the heroes.
Things like this could warrant an SIC tag.
