Presumably his psychic readings on Atlantis didn't, however.
And neither did the horseshit surrounding "past lives".
Seriously, pull the other one. It's got bells on.
I'm afraid charlatans like him make me angry, because, at best, they are taking advantage of vulnerable people. Which ought to be offensive to anyone that has sense. And, sadly, you had previously struck me as such a person.

I dont lie for financial gain, and neither did Cayce. He never once charged for his readings.

So, what, he died a poor man?
I'm sorry, liars are liars. And Edgar Cayce is a liar. A clever and cunning liar, but a liar nonetheless.
Anyone who claims to talk to people with past lives is a liar.
Or dangerously delusional. Seriously delusional.
Atlantis never existed.

Maybe he geinuinely belived what he said? Of course the majority of people who had readings from Cayce were happy with it. Many became better, happier people from Cayce's readings. Even if it wasnt true they made people happy. Also was, Edgar Cayce is long dead.
Doctors didnt think he had mental problems.
It might have nobody knows.

Just because these people are stupid, wrong and highly dangerous does not mean you have the right to make them feel sad.

At least, in my experience at least.

He demonstrably had mental issues. From his very mouth, he had mental issues, if he believed in what he was doing was true. Unless he was a liar. Which he, basically, was.
And "helping people" is no comeback. Lying to people "for their own good" is not a good thing. It is disgusting and predatory. It is abusing people who are vulnerable, pure and simple. Fooling people so that they are happier is monstrous, as it means they can't come to terms with what has happened.
