I thought that if you planted a stick in the ground, you could grow a strawberry bush.
Zionism is the only path to peace. Masada will never fall again.

“Nobody does Israel any service by proclaiming its 'right to exist.'

Israel's right to exist, like that of the United States, Saudi Arabia and 152 other states, is axiomatic and unreserved. Israel's legitimacy is not suspended in midair awaiting acknowledgement....

There is certainly no other state, big or small, young or old, that would consider mere recognition of its 'right to exist' a favor, or a negotiable concession.” - former Israeli Foreign Affairs Minister Abba Eben

Well, I used to think that if I plant a stick, or a twig that falls out of a branch, it becomes a tree.

I used to believe that soldiers were paid with food stamps in lieu of actual money (I misunderstood what my dad said about low ranking soldiers often making so little money that they qualified for food stamps).

Same...I used to go through this ritual of throwing my old grapes on my Grandma's lawn, hoping that they would grow into something. I was really annoyed when I learnt that they were seedless grapes. We baught grapes with seeds in once...I did the same, and I got a grapevine. Turns out that Grandma had just gone and planted the seeds, but, being 8, I was really proud of myself.

I'd used to think inanimate objects were living things I just couldn't understand, and I'd cry or feel bad for them if they were damaged or broken, even if it was in a movie.

I pretended I believed that with someone once...I'd get really annoyed and parent-like for 'knocking over mr. chair without saying sorry.'

You have to believe the small lies as a kid in order to believe the big lies like truth and justice as an adult.
