WA Endorsements List

Postby Engul » Sat Jun 13, 2009 9:01 pm

This is an idea, that I hope after much consideration and thought might be adopted/created. Ever since I became a WA Delegate, I've had to keep track of the number of nation endorsements inside the region, because well I think we all know why it's important to a region's security, but I always hated going through, page by page, writing down the numbers. It get's really annoying when there's 20+ pages, or more. So, my idea or thought of improvement is, a page, or list available to the WA Delegate of that region that lists the amount of endorsements each nation has or maybe perhaps if you added that nation to your dossier it would include endorsement counts.

Just a thought....

Or maybe the code could have an Endorsement Cap that could be set by the delegate - and if a nation went over that their nation would be displayed with red text on RMB posts and in the Census Reports plus the Delegate would be notified in a telegram.

I'll add the idea to the big list.

Sounds like a straightforward regional calculation:
List nations alphabetically.
Count endorsements for each nation.
Show endorsement count each nation
Order list by endorsement count in descending order.

Or you could ask around for people who have methods to be aware of this

Typically folks use scripts to perform such calculations for a target region. It surely would be a nice feature if the game were to provide data in a more convenient manner so there's no longer a difference between those who have (or write) these scripts and those who don't have them.

Indeed it would be nice. Something relatively related to this idea would be nice...

Any regions out there willing to share some of their "ways"?

How do most ideas for improvement get adopted? It is by 'popularity'?

I think it's mostly "can [violet] do it" and "does [violet] like it"

You left out the part where participants flood the forum with perspective arguments and tangentially relevant data to support their emotionally pitched "facts" until one side or the other make [violet] want to throw up all over the people dumping all this hooha at here figurative feet. (Was that a run-on or what??? :lol2: ) Hopefully, somewhere in the process, someone made a lucid point that resonates and [violet] decides it's time to play Solomon.

File under "Tools for Dictators"? Seems like it would constitute a convenient hit list for those determined to retain their Delegacy by force.

That's how feeder delegacies are maintained, although a script does it. Any and all competition gets listed, and mercilessly dealt with ;)

WA Endorsements List

Postby UK Colonial America » Wed Dec 02, 2009 2:39 pm

I am new so I understand if this is a stupid question but...

If you move to a new region does that mean you loose all endorsements you have from another regions

Yes, unless the nations which endorsed you in the previous region follow you into whatever region you've moved to, and do this before the game updates.

It could also be useful for regions where the delegate gets elected, so people know if they need to un-endorse someone to make sure the new delegate actually takes up that role.

would be heaps useful

massive agree with the idea
It should be included as a way to sort the list of nations in a region, in addition to "sort by name" and "sort by length of residency"
Does anybody know any scripts?
