The Green Shield: A National and International Watchdog Journal

In early 2012, professors and lecturers from the Academy for Liberty, in Mary Town of Saint Arthur's City, signed a publication contract with the Alain Christophe Foundation, with both groups agreeing to survey and report on the condition of human rights throughout Mourro and other nations.

The Green Shield works independently of the Mourron government and receives funding from the Alain Christophe Foundation, a foundation that sponsors investigative and humanitarian liberal projects and organizations.

Our journal will be updated regularly and seeks to provide factual information only.

Reports, queries, complaints et cetera are to be sent by telegram to Professor Marko Liber, who is the Chairman of the Green Shield and professor of Human Rights Studies at the Academy for Liberty.

Case Study: The Tstudent Civil War

Postby Mourro » Tue Apr 03, 2012 12:48 pm

This publication [2012] is by Charletta Statue, lecturer in Human Rights at the Academy for Liberty.

This year the Tstudent government announced to the international media that the country is currently experiencing a civil war. Although the Republic of Mourro does not yet have any diplomatic ties with the country, Green Shield has been increasingly concerned with the nature of the war and those nations involved. Green Shield plans to send a research team in the meantime to unravel some of the mystery behind the cause of the conflict.

Tstudent is a nation of around 14 million (at time of our last population query) which has relatively good living conditions, according to our research. Its lack of prisons however makes crime a problem in the country, and it may be that civil war will give criminals the opportunity to take advantage of the turmoil. Due to Tstudent's inhospitable land type, it is the hope that, for the welfare of civilians, populated areas are not severely affected by the war.

The war seems to involve at least three party factions: liberal, conservative, and libertarian.

Gretel Licorish is known to be the leader of the liberal faction.

Pastor Felix is known to be the leader of the conservative faction, and he is reported to have been responsible for the assassination of Hillary Song, the previous leader of the faction.

Lauren Wong is known to be the leader of the libertarian faction. This is currently the governing faction.

Nations that we currently know to have at least expressed interest in participation in this war are: Krasok, New Nassrau, Super-Llamaland, Navorgska, Cu Math, the Dissant Machine Empire, Gharin, Louden, Pageon, Reselia, Saubre, Rhodesia, Malaysii, Tirania, Krasnovia, and New Babylonia.

President Vitaliya Aleksandra of New Nassrau has called the war 'uncalled for' and that it will 'cause endless suffering for its [Tstudent's] people'. The Nassrau government has however stated that it will standby as the violence in Tstudent increases. The Nassrau government is known to be conservative.

Navorgska has sent Tstudent the XXIV Expeditionary Corps to assist the conservative faction.

Of particular concern to Green Shield, the nation Cu Math has raised serious alarm over its legitimacy to participate in a war environment. Though human rights abuses often occur during wars, the nation of Cu Math appears to make its intent to encourage human sacrifice in return for its contribution to aiding the Tstudent, however it is not yet clear which side they are supporting. Cu Math's conditions are that Tstudent allows the Cu Math people to practise their religion (whatever this may be) and that they be provided with 7 prisoners a year for sacrifice. Shockingly, the Tstudent government has apparently allowed this to happen.

The Dissant Machine Empire however objected to Cu Math's proposal, instead offering Tstudent assistance for the governing faction, 1,500 infantry, 50 fighters, 5 bombers, 3 missile trucks, and 1 Splinter Missile, provided that Cu Math's proposal is rejected.

President Carn of Gharin has pledged for Tstudent an ambitious 3 million soldiers to support the governing faction, however with Gharin's imploded economy, it is not certain as to how realistic this offer really is.

The Chairman of Green Shield has issued a request to the Tstudent government for the allowance of a Green Shield visit to the country.

Green Shield fully condemns and expresses its disgust with the propositions of the Cu Math nation, who seeks not to assist with the liberation of a nation experiencing civil war, but to take advantage of fatalities and use the dead to satisfy its own inhuman needs that would strongly defy the laws of most decent nations.

******************************************************************************************************

The nation of Pageon today has offered its help to the Tstudent conservative faction. Pegeon is also led by a conservative government, and the nation will be offering 'Military and Economic support' to the Tstudent conservatives. They have also pledged to give their FAR (Full Assault and Recon) elements in order to assist with the military support. Not a lot is known about Pageon in Mourron circles, however it has been found that the nation has a very high number of terrorist suspects, suggesting that the country faces domestic and/or terror problems. The country seems adequate enough to assist in a civil war, however the motive for assistance appears to be due to the conservatives' sharing of ideologies. I hasten to know what this has to do with the innocent people who will most likely be caught up in this civil war.

A nation known as Louden has also pledged that it will help Tstudent, although rather through the means of financing the civil war, and it will also send an expeditionary party to further establish details with regard to the nature of this conflict. This should prove an important step in establishing the structure of the governing party and the real situation on the ground for civilians.

Green Shield awaits comment from the Tstudent government.

(05.04.2012) I myself have also requested that some Cu Math nationals visit the Republic for interview regarding their involvement in this Civil War.

As tension between Cu Math and Green Shield increases - amid accusations that Green Shield unfairly presents the Cu Math nation - there is still little information internationally as to what is actually happening in Tstudent.

(06.04.2012) The Tstudent government has permitted us entry into their country, however I await their embassy establishment first so as to conform to Mourron laws on international travel.

Meanwhile, it has come to light that the nations of Reselia and Saubre have shown significant interest in participating in the Civil War.

Reselia has said that it will send (a questionable) 2 million infantry 'to restore order', but it appears that the Reselia government wish to assist the government faction that offers the most appealing reward. Reselia has excellent economic and political conditions for its contribution.

Saubre's Emperor Maximillian zi Saubre stated that he will send 10,000 troops and he has opted to support the Tstudent conservatives. Their ability to remain loyal to the Tstudent people until the Civil War problem is solved is quite questionable.

It is still not very clear as to what is happening on the ground in Tstudent. I am to issue a request for a report on matters presently.

(10.04/2012)

A significant increase in international interest has been brought to our attention. The government of Western Rhodesia has stepped in to offer the Liberal Faction financial and military aid. The nation will apparently send 200 military advisors and 100 White Berets to protect the advisors. We know little of this nation, only that it is of a very small population and that its current conditions are considerably good and thus making the government quite adequate to assist Tstudent.

Meanwhile, the United Empire of Malaysii's King Joseph Vurell XXI has pledged to support Gretel Licorish. In a letter to the Tstudent government he is said to be 'saddened and angered at what is occurring'. The King has requested that Licorish calls peace talks, and it is made clear that if this condition is not met the Malaysii support will be in Tstudent 'for occupation, not support'. I should take this opportunity to infer that the King of Malaysii perhaps has colonial interests in mind. It is vital that the international community and Tstudent's allies do not let this Civil War escalate into a situation where Tstudent's territory is in jeopardy.

Reports have come in that the Malaysii government are making initial marine preparations.

Green Shield seriously questions the motives of King Joseph of Malaysii.

Little however is known about Tirania and Krasnovia, who have offered humanitarian aid and military/political advisors, respectively. The Republic of Tirania is neutral toward all three Party factions and appears to have purely humanitarian motives. Krasnovia, however, supports the Libertarian Party.

More information has also been made available on Reselia's contributions. While supporting the Liberal Party, the Reselian government also offer Tstudent refugees 'aid and accommodation'. They must however be members of the Liberal Party or their constituencies. In order to secure Liberal territory, it has been reported that the Reslian government has sent 4 million infantry. The Reselian government has also asked an alarming request of Tstudent: that it be allowed to use bombs indiscriminately in Tstudent cities.

Green Shield considers this an atrocious and unjustified request.

I would strongly discourage the use of bombs in any civilian area of Tstudent.

According to our sources, the Reselia government will be able to pick up refugees between 12:00 and 1:00 tomorrow. It is not known how many Tstudent people are actually interested in leaving the country, but the Tstudent government has made an astonishing acceptance of Reselia's offers.

It appears that the Tstudent government has little regard for its innocent civilians.

***************************************

At 02:12 10.04.2012, Green Shield received reports that Reselia is a supporter of torture and the death penalty. It has been revealed through a leaked communication sent by the Reselia government to a nation known as Prussia-Steinbach. Prussia-Steinbach is a nation notorious for its specialising in and supporting of torture and killing. The nation even offers torture and death services to other governments for a price, a service of which the Reselia government has taken advantage.

I am now utterly convinced that it would be an incredibly unwise decision for the Tstudent government to allow such a country as Reselia to have any involvement at all in its Civil War. It is not unreasonable to suggest that the Reselia government could, if allowed military power in Tstudent, commit acts of torture and murder of innocent people. We must ask ourselves whether the Reselia government cares about resolving civil conflicts at all, and whether it is simply a tyrant nation who delights in the destruction of humans.

I appeal to all nations who care for humanity to condemn and petition against Reselia's involvement in this Civil War. Particularly, those allied forces who could be working alongside the Reselians should make every effort to reject them from having any involvement.

The nation Gharin has also pledged to assist with an evacuation of civilians, ordered by the nation's President Carn, who apparently are supporting the Liberal Party.

It remains unclear as to what is going on on the ground in Tstudent. There is little access for us to visual aids of Tstudent territory, and we have not yet been able to establish diplomatic relations with the nation.

(14.04.2012) Green Shield has discovered that Crata, a member nation of The Humanitarian League, has sent a letter of warning to the Tstudent government. Crata's Council of Foreign Affairs wrote that they "will condemn every attempt to hurt citizens." The Chairman of Green Shield also sent the Tstudent government a warning letter regarding the threat of the nation of Reselia. The Reslian government has not yet commented on this, however the Liberal Party has claimed that they "did not know" about Reselia's background, and have thus stated that the Tstudent government "immediately rejects Reselia's request".

(14.05.2012) We still await embassy establishment from the Tstudent government. According to the Quadros, there has been no governmental reaction from Tstudent diplomatically and so we are forced to remain patient until Green Shield is permitted access to the country.

It has been rather quiet since my last update, however there does now seem to be slight evidence of movement on the ground in Tstudent and of a government recognition of international aids and spectators (including a mentioning of Mourro).

The nation of Gharin, according to our latest research a nation of over 4 billion, has sent a colossal 5 million of its military personnel to assist in the Tstudent Civil War campaign. I should remind readers that Gharin supports the Liberal Faction, and the majority of their "foreign aid" appears to be in the form of the Gharin naval forces, led by Brigadier General Christine Felipe. Brigadier General Felipe is unknown to our researchers, however we shall be investigating his background with immediate effect. It is known that he is the protégé of General Ricker.

We know that Ricker has signed on behalf of the Gharin government a treaty from The Eagleland nation, which appears to be an "Official Document of the Government of Norvenia". Ricker signed an "Agreement of Policy towards the Powerful Collective of Underium by the Allied Powers". This was part of an apparent peace conference last year.

We also know that General Ricker was involved in the War in the Dominion of States,, the Malysii Civil War, the invasion of Zackor, the Gratislavian Civil War,peacekeeping on the Nativian Islands, the United Southenours Civil War, participation at the Vermont Summit, the Third Domtopian Civil War, and a source has also revealed that the following was portrayed of the General:-

"He [the then Gharin President Steiner] had convinced General Ricker (Reicher) to blow that Vermontian city to the ground. Killing thousands of people."

We have reason to believe surely that the Gharin government is indeed involved in civil war efforts and the security of peace between nations, however if the above quote proves to be a fact, then I must question the logic of giving even more responsibility to a General who has supposedly killed thousands. In a civil war especially as this one, the main focus for Gharin should be preventative measures and providing aid and protection for Tstudent civilians. There should be no mass killing of people on any side from an outside nation such as Gharin.

Green Shield asks that the Gharin government provide the international world an explanation as to why General Ricker was allowed to send Brigadier General Felipe to Tstudent. Surely General Ricker will have ultimate command over the Gharin mission there. Green Shield also recommends that Gharin provides clarity on General Ricker's military career.

In other news on the situation in Tstudent itself, though the Tstudent government has decided to reject Reselia's military involvement in the conflict, it appears that the Reslian food aid and rescue plans are still to go ahead. There are reports that the Reselian Sky Forces are flying in to Tstudent to pick up potential refugees.

An unofficial Reselian source has apparently criticised my efforts to write a sound account of what is occurring in relation to the Tstudent government's view of aiding nations. The source apparently accuses myself and my team, and indeed Green Shield in general, of having "nothing better to do than discriminate against nations which have unquestionably good ideals".

I am sure that the majority of able-minded readers and humanitarian organisations would agree that Green Shield endeavours tirelessly to provide the most indiscriminate perception of civil war and similar conflicts. I also seriously rebuke that the act of paying to have one's own citizens tortured and/or then executed is a "good ideal".

(03.08.2012) The Civil War in Tstudent is reported to have ended, with a stable situation now returning to the country. Green Shield will be observing the Tstudent government closely for any significant developments in the name of human rights.

On the Subject of the Drone Empire

Postby Mourro » Tue Apr 03, 2012 1:08 pm

This is a Green Shield report based on research gathered by Professor Marko Liber's students at the Academy for Liberty.

The Drone Empire, or the Byzantine Cognitive Unit of the Drone Empire, is surprisingly a diplomatic friend of Mourro's. Green Shield however wishes that the Mourron government will reconsider its relationship with the Empire with regard to its findings on the nation.

Green Shields protests that the Drone Empire is a perpetrator of 'the war on biological life', and since Mourrons are biologically living things, it seems highly hypocritical that Mourro diplomatically or otherwise supports this nation.

Green Shield found the following facts about the Drone Empire:-

1. gives the death penalty for ALL crimes;
2. currently holds around 500 billion prisoners of war*;
3. homosexuality and homosexual acts are punishable offences;
4. all religions are illegal;
5. freedom of speech absolutely does not exist.

*this is a highly debatable statistic, as the Drone Empire population is a mere 1.63 billion [on 03.04.2012]. Green Shield has contacted the Mourron ambassador in the Drone Empire for confirmation of this information from the Drone Empire government.

Green Shield asks therefore the Mourron government: how could any human or otherwise living being represent their country in such a dangerous and profoundly discriminating nation as the Drone Empire? What is there to gain from having an embassy at all in the Drone Empire? The Mourron government seriously needs to reconsider its relationship in the light of human rights and the human race in general.

*****************************************************************************************************************************************************************

The Mourron Prime Minister was not available for comment on the issue but the Minister for International Relations, Hamilton Peters, has sent the following letter to the Drone Empire government:-

For the attention of the Drone Empire government,

The Mourron Red Hills Class Party has recently taken over the political power in the Republic of Mourro. With it comes a swift change in policy and stance of a variety of matters, including that of human rights.

It has come to our attention that your nation seeks to exterminate all living lifeforms, or biological life. We have been informed of worrying aspects of your government from Green Shield, a human rights watchdog based in Mourro.

The Mourron government will, due to this report's findings, desperately plea that you release your political prisoners and adapt a more harmonious manner of living.

If your government cannot do this or accommodate human existence alongside drone existence, then we as a government see little use in embassy establishment or international relations with the Drone Empire.

The government wishes that the Drone Empire drastically reconsiders its death penalty for all crimes, its disapproval of homosexuality, its discrimination against all religions, and its absolute block of freedom of speech, as well as the aforementioned release of political prisoners.

We anticipate your government's reply.

Regards,
Hamilton Peters, Minister for International Relations.

For the attention of Materik M'kiazth.

With all due respect, the Green Shield organization relies on independent research and quotations of nations in the international media.

At times, due to the mass amount of international media released during wars and conflicts, information is confused and/or misreported.

We acknowledge now, then, that your government is in support of the Libertarian Faction and I apologise for the mis-reporting of this information.

However, the consumption of the dead should not need to affect the fallen of the Dissant Machine Empire, unless they themselves agree that this may be done to their killed soldiers. Green Shield would find it a shocking disgrace against the families of deceased Dissant Machine Empire soldiers if they were not permitted the rightful burials, cremations or other rites that are the respectable and proper customs of the Dissant Machine Empire.

We do not accept that religious sacrifice has anything to do with the civil war in a country that does not practise the same rituals. It is not a necessity in times of war for other countries to impose their customs on the suffering country or countries. As a participant in the Tstudent civil war, your government is expected to help protect the innocent and to gain international respect by helping those who deserve it and punishing the perpetrators of international crime.

I hasten to know your government's real motive for getting involved in the Tstudent civil war,

Regards,

To The Green Shield,
We of Cu Math are saddened by the lack of respect for our nation displayed internationally. Your publication accused us of Human Rights Violations, and yet refuses to speak with us on our view. Firstly, the eating of the dead is a show of respect for a fallen enemy that we found both formidable and deserving of Honor in our religion: The 10 Appendages of The Great Old Ones. Secondly, you have not paid attention to our communications. We support the liberal Faction under Gretel Licorish, whereas the Dissant machine Empire supports the Governing Libertarians. Before you condemn a population, it would be wise to actually learn of them. Read of us, then you may judge.

You have misreported twice. We support the Liberal, not Libertarian faction. As for our reasons for involvement, we cannot question the wisdom of the Great Old Ones, but needless to say, they have commanded us and we obey. We believe that they wish for us to become involved for the chance to allow us to expand our borders. (74 million citizens on an island is becoming unsustainable.) In addition, we demand the sacrifice in lieu of payment, as we believe that the factions do not have the monetary funds to support all allies so we offered an easier solution. As for the devouring, we do not believe the Dissant Machine Empire will offer our dead courtesy.  If you wish to learn more of us, we welcome interviews and our history is published.

1. gives the death penalty for ALL crimes;
2. currently holds around 500 billion prisoners of war*;
3. homosexuality and homosexual acts are punishable offences;
4. all religions are illegal;
5. freedom of speech absolutely does not exist.

We must firstly correct your numerical statistics, as our local colony alone contains the viewed number, our total population on our multiple inter-solar Empire far exceeds that number.

Now, back on subject, It has come to our foremost attention that you criticize our death penalty policies, while you fail to speculate our uses of it. Drones are most definitely not human, thus writing out breaking any sort of code for the murder of humans and where its stated it is wrong. Drones are quite simply programmed with a very rigid purpose, such sickening ideals of letting them do what they very well want is quite simply not in the better interest for the Empire. To put it in simple terms, you act out of line, out of your programming, your captured, shut down, and recycled.

Our views are quite simply that, and to each his or her own that may speak otherwise, but our policies are likely not to change. Our prisoners are being used for vital research and development toward a better understanding of Biologic life, human and not human. All others not involved in this grand experiment are simply consequence of our conflict.

We are not-so-sorry to say that if you feel your embassy in The Drone Empire is non-beneficial, we will gladly remove it for you, though we cannot guarantee your Ambassador making it back in a timely fashion.

Dear the Council of Terrible Elders,

My name is Marko Libel and I am the Chairman of the Green Shield project. I am sincerely sorry that our researchers have misreported more than once information regarding your political stance on the Tstudant Civil War.

It is with much regret that the Republic of Mourro, having itself only opened up to the world very recently, sometimes lacks the information or resources to accurately report on matters, particularly due to the fact that organizations such as Green Shield are independent of the government and therefore work with very limited resources.

I can only hope that you accept my apology.

I would very much like to accept your offer for interview, if that offer still remains at all. If your government would kindly agree, I would like to send a Green Shield representative to Cu Math in order for us to better understand the way Cu Math law and religion affects its citizens. We aim to be an unbiased organization, and so would hope that such an interview would prove very beneficial for our work.

In addition, though I have no official relation with the Mourron government, I would like to suggest that your government considers embassy establishment in Mourro. Through this method you may be able to deal with your country's human geography demands - the Mourron government frequently accepts new citizens and visiting workers, which might alleviate your country's island populous and create a Cu Math diaspora, thus increasing international awareness and understanding of Cu Math values and culture.

It is only an idea, and I beg your pardon once more if we have offended your government further.

Best regards,

Professor Marko Libel, Green Shield.

For the attention of the Imperial Sector of Foreign Relations,

While we are not actually related to the Mourron government, our research shows that there is no existing Mourron embassy in the Drone Empire, but that past considerations of establishing one had been made.

We thus have no power to officially disassociate Mourro from the Drone Empire, however Green Shield certainly condemns your use of 'prisoners' for 'vital research'. As a conductor of research your government is expected to publish clearly the background of subjects, their reasons for being test subjects, and the numbers of subjects drafted with the number of subjects who die from your experiments.

If Green Shield is to even consider the legitimacy of your experimentation policies, we would demand to see such a report to be published publicly.

Regards,

Samantha Chatta, Green Shield.

Dear the Council of Terrible Elders,

I have been instructed to arrange a meeting with one or more of your government officials to establish the Cu Math stance and some specific facts on the Tstudent Civil War campaign. Unfortunately due to Mourron law I am not allowed to send Mourron citizens to countries who hold no diplomatic relationship with Mourro. However, it is possible that even without such a relationship Cu Math nationals may visit Mourro, but it should be noted that they are subject to the Vetting Centre's security checks before they leave the Vetting Island airport.

I would appreciate a reply as to what your government thinks of this proposal.

Harmony and Discord in Part-Human Nations:TurtleShroom

Postby Mourro » Fri Aug 03, 2012 2:19 pm

Written by Polly Posa, Green Shield journalist.

There are several nations all over the world whose major population, or at least a significant part of it, is not considered 'human'.

Our country is a rather complicated example. In Mourro, one does not necessarily distinguish a 'witch' or a 'wizard' from a 'human'. In Mourro, magic is rather a scientific and atomic affair that can be attained by virtually any human across the country.

Therefore, in Mourro, we know that the majority are 'human', but that many of them practise magic. Mourro also has mermaids, goblins, trolls, dragons, and an array of other unusual species, living alongside Mourron humans in relative peace and harmony (or at least sustainable segregation).

But what about other nations? Green Shield will in this study take a particular look at a nation known as TurtleShroom. While not a diplomatic ally of Mourro's nor having had any relation at all with our government, we have taken this nation as a case study of a nation that is largely inhabited by turtle (and other species related to the turtle) and mushroom-like beings.

It also is a nation with a human population living alongside these species.

We will aim to examine how these populations co-exist and whether or not there exist inequalities and struggles in a nation where radically different people must co-exist.

TurtleShroom: A General Summary

*Major Populations: turtles; mushrooms (remarkably distinguishable from ordinary Mourron mushrooms - TurtleShroom mushrooms levitate, speak, and live everyday lives as would humans - it is assumed that they are much larger than ordinary mushrooms); humans (notable for their apparent problems with eyesight and dental care - and according to the official TurtleShroom Factbook, its humans are "simply ugly")

*TurtleShroomers often carry weapons on their person

*Christianity is a particularly predominant religion in TurtleShroom

*They are apparently also "anti-gay" and "capitalist"

*The nation uses the Skillet as its currency, which are iron-made pans

*Most of the population travel by rail road, with the maximum speed limit not exceeding 60 miles per hour

On the TurtleShroom Military and Weapons of Mass Destruction

Since most of the turtle species in TurtleShroom can live up to 200 years, it is assumed that the majority of generals in this nation's army are very mature and that the military is in control by the same or a similar combination of individuals for a very long time.

Turtles are the more powerful race in terms of military rank, however mushrooms and humans may serve in the lower ranks.

TurtleShroom is a nation capable of using nuclear weapons. It should therefore be seriously understood that the turtle and mushroom races are intelligent enough to develop their own technology and weaponry, although the TurtleShroom government might also have imported nuclear capabilities or somehow inherited the capabilities from humans (the reality is as of yet not so clear).

It is thought that the nation has around 700,000 nuclear warheads, with around 500 capable of immediate, automatic delivery.

In 2010, Freddy Rubin, the TurtleShroom man behind a massive announcement on the nation's Vixen News revealing the government's go-ahead with nuclear armaments, stated on live television "what the chancellors have allowed us to do is produce thermonuclear warheads and extreme weapons out of the vast uranium supplies".

The government appears to support weapons to kill, especially guns and snipers, and it is also known to employ 'cream pie' tactics to distract enemies before using bullets and explosives.

According to the official TurtleShroom Factbook, "the right to bear arms is very powerful".

It is evident that this government and its military both promote and provide for the provision of weapons - not just on the general level in regard to national security, but also on the individual level whereby virtually all citizens have lethal weapons and carry attitudes that are generally pro-gun law.

On Law and Order

According to data made public two years ago, TurtleShroom is a nation that actively enforces the death penalty on those citizens deemed guilty of particular crimes.

Methods of killing legally used in this nation are hanging, lethal injection and the electric chair. Technically burning at the stake and stoning to death are still legal, but have not been actually enforced for over a century and in the history of TurtleShroom, respectively.

The nation has no jury service for court trials that might relate to potential death penalty cases, and all executions are undergone privately.

The following substances are illegal in TurtleShroom: tobacco, marijuana, alcohol, LSD, cocaine, MDMA/Ecstasy, heroin. Sentences for those in possession or those who have consumed such substances range from 5 to 30 years in prison.

It would be fair to say that in the are of drugs and banned substances, TurtleShroom and Mourro share almost identical ideals. In comparison, the Mourron government gives life sentences for absolutely proven cases of possession of all of the aforementioned substances, except for tobacco, which carries a maximum 1 year sentence.

In TurtleShroom it is illegal to burn the national flag, the punishment for which includes public humiliation and a month's imprisonment.

The sentence for arson offences is 40 years in prison. The punishment becomes a capital one if the fire involved a religious or sacred building.

The government does not however appear to dictate citizens' rights to freedom of speech, as indicated in one TurtleShroom source from 2010: "questioning of the government and its policies...[is] allowed and encouraged".

On Human Rights

Attention will now be focused on the human populous of TurtleShroom, for according to one source in 2010 "there are no gay turtles or gay mushrooms...this is only a human issue", leaving the humans to be the citizens who are to deal with the challenges sexual orientation brings in a largely Christian society.

Although homosexuality is not criminalised in this nation per se, a court case in the 1940s ruled that "gays may be gay in private and amongst their own kind", clearly pointing to the so-called "don't ask, don't tell" policy ratified by many governments throughout conservative, Christian countries.

Moreover, such a 'legality' of homosexuality seems artificial in terms of its meaning for ordinary citizens, since it is legal for citizens to be 'homosexual', but it is not legal for them to engage in what would be perceived as homosexual acts of intercourse. Indeed, the aforementioned source goes on to describe such intercourse as "sodomy", calling it "grounds for jail time or at least a lawsuit...months or years of prison".

It is clear that this nation's government does not want to encourage any kind of homosexual relationship between citizens to form, since the age of consent for gay couples in TurtleShroom is 1,000 years.

There is therefore no recognition of gay couples in TurtleShroom, since its outlawing in the constitution of 1799. Companies may fire employees if they find out that they are gay, and gay citizens may not form civil partnerships or adopt.

In relation to adoption, the nation's government ruled that any gay individual attempting to adopt a child must serve a night in prison, and that they must also admit their guilt by writing out the statement "I will not dishonour any young creature of any species by trying to recruit them into the gay lifestyle via adoption or other custody measures".

Also, gay citizens may not serve in the TurtleShroom military, cannot undergo IVF treatment or go through any surrogacy process, it is possible to surgically change gender but not at all legally valid, and gay citizens may not donate blood.

On the other hand, women enjoy largely the same rights as men in TurtleShroom, with perhaps the exception of higher positions within religious institutions, from which women are barred.

Generally, modesty is expected of women when dressing, but also the men of this nation may not wear skirts not deemed 'cultural' and are thus banned also from working in, for example, lingerie shops. Likewise, women are also banned from sporting positions such as in professional football.

Prostitution and many sex-related activities are strictly forbidden in most cases, with brothel owners facing around 60 years in prison or even the death penalty, and the prostitutes could face a decade in prison. Any "S&M" activity also carries a heavy 30 year sentence at a mental institution.

The death penalty can be enforced if a so-called "vice en masse" is committed, listed in one source as being "sex" (presumably non-heterosexual sex), "sex-slavery" and "human trafficking".

Conclusion

Although my report is in no way a representation of the complete nature, morals and sets of values possessed by TurtleShroom citizens, I hope that my analysis and information has provided an objective insight into this nation as an initial case study for the discussion which I will hopefully instigate in my conclusion.

Our country is first and foremost one that stands for human rights. The Green Shield exists to protect and propagate human rights and liberties wherever its voice may be heard.

What I find fascinating about TurtleShroom is that it is a nation that does share some very important values with our own nation, namely on issues such as drugs and freedom of speech. The former is deemed in Mourro to be fundamental in maintaining a pure populous unaffected and uninfluenced by harmful substances, so that our society may benefit the most from healthy and unpolluted thinking and behaviour. Most Mourrons also understand that drugs are tremendously detrimental to society on a massive scale, in that they put pressure on all areas of government and everyday life, from law enforcement to familial structures, from social benefits to healthcare requirements - it is crucial that we protect this healthy stance on drugs.

In the case of freedom of speech, I have mostly come to believe that TurtleShroom citizens are free to do and say as they please, except in cases of extreme offence that may upset general society, such as the specifically-mentioned burning of the national flag. While we hold it as our pride to permit all beings the right to think and act freely and without fear, we also understand that such acts as flag burning are a physical attack on and rejection of the ideals of Mourron people, i.e. what the symbolism and purpose of the flag mean to Mourrons everywhere. We must of course ensure that freedom of speech is forever maintained, but that our values and national image too are protected from disgraceful acts.

There are however two main issues that Green Shield has uncovered that are worrying to us and threatening to not just our readers but also humanity and the human rights of TurtleShrooms. It is my intention to address these issues and to petition against them with or without assistance from the TurtleShroom government.

As ever, it is paramount that we stand up for those under threat from the malicious and discriminating acts of certain governments.

Nuclear Potential

It is troubling that a strongly Christian nation such as TurtleShroom would endeavour to possess so many nuclear warheads in, apparently, anticipation and/or preparation for some future war or conflict. There are over 4 billion people in TurtleShroom, and if a nuclear warhead were to fall into the wrong hands this would be catastrophic for such a population.

I would like to question the Turtles' and Mushrooms' intentions with such a vast amount of threatening weaponry of mass destruction. Is it that these two races deem themselves physically too weak to counter any potential threat, should it occur? If the military and the religious institutions that guide TurtleShroom's faithful are both greatly dominated by Turtles (and not Mushrooms and to a much more significant extent not humans), then what is the connection between Christian powers and nuclear potential in TurtleShroom? Does such a weapon carry religious motives?

Why does such a religious nation allow the propagation of pro-gun attitudes among its citizens?

TurtleShroom possesses nuclear potential beyond what would be deemed controllable or reasonable.

This nation carries extremities in both nuclear and religious realms.

I would really like to visit this country to see what the government has to say for itself. Clearly, many questions are to be answered.

My investigations are pending and I seek to get in touch with this nation's government.

Homophobia

One major issue that continued to flag up in my analysis was the detrimental position the government of TurtleShroom appears to have toward gay people and, most probably, the wider LGBT community that are likely to make up a proportion of the nation's human population.

The government purports that there are no 'gay' Turtles or Mushrooms, but that it is likely that there are gay humans. It does not not however appear in any way to aim to protect their rights and interests as it has done for its female citizens.

It is particularly worrying that the TurtleShroom government uses terms such as "sodomy" and "don't ask don't tell", blatantly condemning gay humans who may indeed to law-abiding citizens of their own country. The government has denied its gay people every legal and individual right that any heterosexual in the country might enjoy - including the right the marry, the right to adopt, the right to have sexual intercourse, and the right to simply be recognised as being part of a couple or civil partnership.

By denying gay people these important and simple human rights, the TurtleShroom government purposefully discriminates against a specific group for the simple fact of their sexual orientation. This is unacceptable and should be condemned by any nation that would consider themselves 'liberal', 'democratic' or 'tolerant'.

TurtleShroom in this respect does not demonstrate tolerance and this could indeed be due to its strong religious thinking, which is likely to affect much of the government's policies, whether that be creating more restrictive laws or upholding centuries-old laws set out to persecute gay people.

I strongly believe that if Mourron people are to consider forming any kind of relation with TurtleShroom, then the TurtleShroom government should radically reconsider their archaic and discriminatory policies that seek only to isolate and ostracise innocent citizens, making their lives not worthy of living alongside other citizens, who may be in exact competence except that they differ in sexuality, yet who have more freedom to live their lives than gay people currently do.

A lingering question would be perhaps this: how will gay human citizens of a nation like TurtleShroom cope with an ever-increasingly religious, pro-armaments nation, whose high-ranking races (Turtles, and to a lesser extent, Mushrooms) share no common ground with gay people? Will such a nation eventually see violence and protest? Will such a nation experience racial tensions? Will religion be viewed negatively in TurtleShroom? Will TurtleShroom in the end have to resort to deportation or further persecution of its gay citizens in order to keep the nation stable?

In short, Green Shield seriously questions the purpose of gross nuclear accumulation, and fundamentally condemns the discrimination against and persecution of gay human citizens.

I sincerely hope that the TurtleShroom government will respond to my report.

HOLY REPUBLIC OF TURTLESHROOM
SUPREME GENERAL COURT OF TURTLESHROOM
CLERK OF THE SUPERIOR COURTS

GREEN SHIELD PEER REVIEWED JOURNAL AND HUMAN/SENTIENT RIGHTS' WATCHDOG:

We were quite surprised and even excited to learn that your company actually did end up replying to our invitation for a profile. Almost all of your content remains accurate and up to date, but some things that were once issues have ceased to be issues, and other items once pigeonholed into local communities have exploded into national topics of debate.

It is the pleasure of the Court to bring you up to speed both on what you lack and to justify, explain away, or assist in any inquiries without bias towards support or opposition of the state.
Our first and most important fact is that our Constitution has been published to the universal public. In it are all the rights of the TurtleShroomer, and everything the government can and can not do.

Mourro wrote:[...]

[...]

Actually, turtles, mushrooms, and humans rise equally in the ranks of our armed forces.
The fact that turtles remain in dominance of the top brass is because they were promoted there generations ago and never left due to death. As an example, our highest military officers in the Army are the identical twin brothers, Tecumseh and Sherman Dukem. Each are tortoises in excess of fifty years, and because of their active, militarized lifestyle, we expect them to exceed a hundred years before death.

Of actual shot-calling and importance, we actually have one elder in high commanding positions, his age exceeding one hundred years. The Supreme Admiral of the Duelly Landlocked Fleet- a turtle called Vladimier Soos -is one hundred one years of age, and continues to exert full power over the Navy. However, his stubborness to keep our ships literally in our shallow wetlands' water- him being a staunch opponent to the "floating battleship" idea that we learned from a FT ally -caused a shuffle of power from Admiral Soos to a "junta" of lower admirals that excercise, when in unanimity, a veto over their highest officer.

We successfully discovered how to split the atom in 2008, finally making use of our endless uranium supplies that cover our entire nation. This was a joint project that was under works since the 1950s, and involved humans, turtles, and mushrooms all working together with very little non-analog or automted technology of any kind. We also possess the capacity of biochemical weapons.

Mourro wrote:It is thought that the nation has around 700,000 nuclear warheads, with around 500 capable of immediate, automatic delivery.

Freddy Rubin was the leading project coordinator on the last leg of our nuclear proliferation. He stated precisely what these weapons were for and we do not hide or regret their purpose.

Mourro wrote:The government appears to support weapons to kill, especially guns and snipers, and it is also known to employ 'cream pie' tactics to distract enemies before using bullets and explosives.

TurtleShroom believes in the right to self defense. Every creature has a right to defend themselves from unlawful encroachments, and that does mean that they have the right to use lethal weaponry if their conscience can handle it.
In actuality, many TurtleShroomers opt for hornet spray, mace, pepper spray, and, most popularly, tasers. About forty percent of the country refuses to wield a gun of any kind.

Mourro wrote:On Law and Order

TurtleShroom added decapitation by guilliotine since this publication. Our capital crimes include: murder, rape, kidnapping, sexual slavery and human trafficking, pedophilia and child molestation, Ponzi and Pyramid schemes in excess of a certain threshold, drug trafficking over a certain threshold of worth, private or unlawful owenrship of a weapon of mass destruction, terrorism, aircraft hijacking, train robbery, High Treason, and more.

Mourro wrote:The nation has no jury service for court trials that might relate to potential death penalty cases, and all executions are undergone privately.

That is an error. TurtleShroom has a grand jury before all cases go to trial. Grand juries are presented evidence, and the defense is also allowed to present their own evidence and convince the grand jury that the evidence isn't enough. The grand jury, if the indict the accused, send it to trial, where the judge is the only jury.

The right to a fair, unbiased, trial by an impartial judge is paramount. Few things are more sacred than justice; we guarentee a fair trial and compensate generously for miscarriages of justice, and even more for executions of innocents.

Mourro wrote:The following substances are illegal in TurtleShroom: tobacco, marijuana, alcohol, LSD, cocaine, MDMA/Ecstasy, heroin. Sentences for those in possession or those who have consumed such substances range from 5 to 30 years in prison.

In comparison, the Mourron government gives life sentences for absolutely proven cases of possession of all of the aforementioned substances, except for tobacco, which carries a maximum 1 year sentence.

Our Prohibition is constitutionally engraved and is only intended to abolish alcohol. However, judicial activism and interpretations have prohibited every drug except medicines and caffeine.

Mourro wrote:In TurtleShroom it is illegal to burn the national flag, the punishment for which includes public humiliation and a month's imprisonment.

Nothing to add.

Mourro wrote:The sentence for arson offences is 40 years in prison. The punishment becomes a capital one if the fire involved a religious or sacred building.

After your records and research in regards to your release, we changed the sentence, regarding mainly on the type and size of arson and the motives. However, the death penalty for parochial institutions being burnt has remained in force. We also added that if the arson takes a creature's life, capital punishment becomes an option.

Mourro wrote:The government does not however appear to dictate citizens' rights to freedom of speech, as indicated in one TurtleShroom source from 2010: "questioning of the government and its policies...[is] allowed and encouraged".

This. Dissent against the government is a fundamental right, and nothing can be construed to punish dissent.

Mourro wrote:On Human Rights

The age of consent for homosexuality, along with the concept of homosexuals being in any "couple" or "partnership", with the
exception of businesses and living in the same building as roomates (such as sharing rent and joint tenancy), wills and testaments, and hospital visitation, was abolished.

Mourro wrote:There is therefore no recognition of gay couples in TurtleShroom, since its outlawing in the constitution of 1799. Companies may fire employees if they find out that they are gay, and gay citizens may not form civil partnerships or adopt.

Since your publication, "gender reassignment" has been classified as bodily mutilation, and a more aggressive crackdown on these extremely mentally ill humans have sent tens of thousands of them to mental institutions, since prison is punishment and not healing. Mental institutions are places of healing, not punishment.

Mourro wrote:On the other hand, women enjoy largely the same rights as men in TurtleShroom, with perhaps the exception of higher positions within religious institutions, from which women are barred.

Most every sport is segrgated between male humans and female humans. Likewise, it is segregated for male turtles and female turtles, and also separate for mushrooms.
American Football, blood sports like boxing, and wrestling are examples of sports forbidden by female humans under any circumstances.

Mourro wrote:Prostitution and many sex-related activities are strictly forbidden in most cases, with brothel owners facing around 60 years in prison or even the death penalty, and the prostitutes could face a decade in prison.

Note that this only applies to those who willingly prostitute themselves. Those captured and coerced to do it (by human traffickers, this being sex slavery and such) are spared of any punishment whatsoever.

Mourro wrote:Any "S&M" activity also carries a heavy 30 year sentence at a mental institution.

This punishment was revised to range from two years to life in a mental institution. These expand to most unnatural fetishes, except pedophilia and child molestation, which are death penalties.

Mourro wrote:The death penalty can be enforced if a so-called "vice en masse" is committed, listed in one source as being "sex" (presumably non-heterosexual sex), "sex-slavery" and "human trafficking".

"Vice en masse" is a blanket term to avoide rapists from walking if they're acquited. It is an umbrella classification that includes things like rape, human trafficking, sex slavery, sex trafficking, kidnapping for sex, and so on and so on.

Mourro wrote:There are however two main issues that Green Shield has uncovered that are worrying to us and threatening to not just our readers but also humanity and the human rights of TurtleShrooms. According to our Constitution, humanity is God's greatest Creation and the master of all the earth, living and not. Humanity possesses special abilities and traits- most importantly, an immortal soul -as well as flaws, that turtles and mushrooms do not or can not have.
None of our three species allow humanity to slip under the role God ordained it: as master of all Creation, man in particular must remain as upright and untainted as possible. We do this with our laws. If turtles and mushrooms experienced sex perversions like homosexuality, fetishes like what you mentioned, or thingas as pedophilia, the same laws and rules would apply.

Mourro wrote:Nuclear Potential

It is troubling that a strongly Christian nation such as TurtleShroom would endeavour to possess so many nuclear warheads in, apparently, anticipation and/or preparation for some future war or conflict. There are over 4 billion people in TurtleShroom, and if a nuclear warhead were to fall into the wrong hands this would be catastrophic for such a population.

Our nuclear missiles are launched and guided by a skilled hand, claw, mouth, or telekinesis. The silos are underground and can not be hacked, unless you know how to hack a two-story, house-sized "supercomputer" with vacuum tubes, punch cards, levers, dials, and seitches. Our nuclear weapons are stockpiled under the heaviest of armed guards and the tightest of security. We take all precautions to ensure safety of our WMDs, and should they ever fall into the wrong hands, we will do anything it takes to stop such a threat.

Mourro wrote:I would like to question the Turtles' and Mushrooms' intentions with such a vast amount of threatening weaponry of mass destruction. Is it that these two races deem themselves physically too weak to counter any potential threat, should it occur?

Yes. TurtleShroom was mostly isolated from the rest of the universe until the 1990s. Our military had spent the last hundred years combatting jungle rebels, insurgencies, extremists, drug cartels, and the Mafia. We are trained exclusively in the art of guerilla warfare and can not defend ourselves against the noble, fearless forces of a true nation's standing army.

There is no way to deter or cease an invasion from a foreign power except by mutually assured destructon. We are already being invaded by an alien race and have refused to use WMDs because peace is being brokered in the backrooms with great progress and priority. Despite the implementation of a draft (conscription) and a total direction towards this war effort, all of the manpower and abilities of TurtleShroom have only succeeded in holding the C'Tan and Necrontyr armies at bay, with large encroachments into TurtleShroom.

Mourro wrote:If the military and the religious institutions that guide TurtleShroom's faithful are both greatly dominated by Turtles (and not Mushrooms and to a much more significant extent not humans), then what is the connection between Christian powers and nuclear potential in TurtleShroom? Does such a weapon carry religious motives?

The religious institutions are almost entirely commanded by humanity. Turtles and mushrooms, however, do take up theology and religioius studies, and they can serve as laity assitants. This policy varies from denomination to denomination, but turtles and mushrooms do not normally serve high positions in clergy, although there are extraordinary cases of turtle cardinals in the Catholic Church and a few priests and pastors scattered.

Mourro wrote:Why does such a religious nation allow the propagation of pro-gun attitudes among its citizens?

The pro-gun attitude is an attitude of defending one's self. The command is "thou shalt not murder". Self-defense is not murder. If one must kill to defend themselves, their families, and their property, it is self defense.

Mourro wrote:TurtleShroom possesses nuclear potential beyond what would be deemed controllable or reasonable.

This nation carries extremities in both nuclear and religious realms.

There is no comment beyond this point, except that our nuclear weapons are fully under our control and will not fall in the wrong hands.

Mourro wrote:I would really like to visit this country to see what the government has to say for itself. Clearly, many questions are to be answered.

My investigations are pending and I seek to get in touch with this nation's government.

I do not have the jurisdiction or authority to grant you a request in to study TurtleShroom, but if I did, I would.
You may contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for this. If you wish to inspect or visit a mental institution, you may contact the SHS and make note that a surprise inspection will occur at any time. The law requires them to accept you in.

Mourro wrote:One major issue that continued to flag up in my analysis was the detrimental position the government of TurtleShroom appears to have toward gay people and, most probably, the wider LGBT community that are likely to make up a proportion of the nation's human population.

The government purports that there are no 'gay' Turtles or Mushrooms, but that it is likely that there are gay humans. It does not not however appear in any way to aim to protect their rights and interests as it has done for its female citizens.

Mushrooms do not have gender and turtles can not perform homosexual intercourse. As for TurtleShroom, there is no LGBT "community", for that would mean a sense of pride or endorsement of such perversions. Homosexuals are closeted for a reason, and they each deal with their affliction in their own way. Whenever we can, both the government and the Church make attempts to assist them in overcoming their unnatural lusts and become either celibate, eunichs or heterosexual. (This is a voluntary practice.)

We also believe that a homosexual can be a Christian and live a pure and God-fearing life. If they fight their unholy lusts for their own gender and abstain from all homosexual intercourse, repent of their homosexual, lustful sins, and take steps to not succumb to their mental disorder, they can and do overcome.

We do not persecute gays. We persecute open homosexuals that flaunt their perversions on all of society, corrupt our offspring's innocence, and perform heinous and grossly indecent acts upon one-another.

Mourro wrote:It is particularly worrying that the TurtleShroom government uses terms such as "sodomy" and "don't ask don't tell", blatantly condemning gay humans who may indeed to law-abiding citizens of their own country. Sex is not a right. It is a holy, sacred privelage extended [I]only
to married couples of the opposite gender. Fornication is also umlawful, be it gay or straight. Any sex out of marriage is illegal fornication. (Adultery is also a crime, but the faithful spouse must request charges to be pressed. This is not normally done; the fauthful spouse usually sues in court for half of all the unfaithful spouse owns. Also, divorce can not be granted except in the cases of "marital unfaithfulness" and annulment.

Marriage transends human law and contract. It is a holy and sacred union defined and ordained by God as consisting solely of opposite gender couples. There is no negotiation or room at the table for any redefinition or molestation of this sacred, precious institution.

Mourro wrote:By denying gay people these important and simple human rights, the TurtleShroom government purposefully discriminates against a specific group for the simple fact of their sexual orientation. This is unacceptable and should be condemned by any nation that would consider themselves 'liberal', 'democratic' or 'tolerant'.

TurtleShroom is not, nor will it ever be, a socially liberal (sexual-anarchist) country, and tolerance is a choice of each individual, not the state. The state has no business in protecting anyone from the real world and the fact that some people just don't like you.

However, hate instances like "violent gay bashing" are prosecuted with the same fairness and intensity as any crime, and gay bashing is a battery charge.

Mourro wrote:TurtleShroom in this respect does not demonstrate tolerance and this could indeed be due to its strong religious thinking, which is likely to affect much of the government's policies, whether that be creating more restrictive laws or upholding centuries-old laws set out to persecute gay people.

Homosexuals have the freedom to do everything a straight TurtleShroomer can do. They can marry of the opposite gender, they can adopt offspring as individuals, they can bequeath their estates to most anything, they can visit friends and family in hospitals, and they can cohabitate an apartment or dormintory. They can own a business, own land, vote, run for office, and work for a living. They can freely enter and exit binding contracts of their choosing- except the holy contract of marriage -and are held to the same criminal standards as everything else in TurtleShroom.
They are not given special rights and accomodations to their perversions. They do not deserve nor receive legislated respect. No nation should be forced to bow to a vocal, whiny minority that can't keep their deepest, most innermost private secrets- their sex life -to themselves.

If a homosexual does not "come out of the closet", they will never face discrimination or punishment. It is when they make their most private and secretive of actions known to all men and creatures at the top of skyscrapers, that they bring these things on themselves. If they simply didn't proclaim their sick sex lives to everyone they met, if they didn't march and show it off to our youth, if they did not demand special accomodations, none of this discrimination would happen. All LGBT discrimination is voluntary. A homosexual that flaunts their perversion will be subject to it, because one's sex life should not, ever, be a public topic of discussion.

Mourro wrote:A lingering question would be perhaps this: how will gay human citizens of a nation like TurtleShroom cope with an ever-increasingly religious, pro-armaments nation, whose high-ranking races (Turtles, and to a lesser extent, Mushrooms) share no common ground with gay people? Will such a nation eventually see violence and protest?

There has yet to be a pro-gay protest in TurtleShroom. Protesting requires receiving the proper permits and convening in the designated Protesting Zones. Any violence by straights against gays, or gays against straights, will be promptly beaten and subdued by riot police and sorted out by our justice system. No creature can harm a homosexual just for being a pervert, and any instance of "gay bashing" or other physical attacks are strictly forbidden and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Mourro wrote:Will such a nation experience racial tensions?

Twenty five percent of the TurtleShroomian populace is Asian. The rest are white. There are few problems with race in the country.

Mourro wrote:Will religion be viewed negatively in TurtleShroom?

Our pro-family, anti-gay, natural marriage stance, alongside our intolerance of sexual perversion and corruption is near-universally supported in TurtleShroom. This transcends denominations and politics as usual. All TurtleShroomers worth their salt are properly pro-family and against homosexuals "coming out".

Mourro wrote:Will TurtleShroom in the end have to resort to deportation or further persecution of its gay citizens in order to keep the nation stable?

We tried deportation and exile of homosexuals and other problems as that. It, however, was a catastrophic failure and we still have to pay reparations to those deported. This was addressed and repealed by Constitutional Amendments, which can be readin the provided link to our Constitution.

Mourro wrote:In short, Green Shield seriously questions the purpose of gross nuclear accumulation, and fundamentally condemns the discrimination against and persecution of gay human citizens.

Our nuclear proliferation is for self-defense and deterrents. We can not defend against a standing army in any other matter.

Our discrimination against homosexuality is only when the homosexuals can not keep their Satanic lusts to themselves and their own homes. By proclaiming and shouting their perversions to the rooftops, they consent and voluntarily subject themselves to the consequences. (However, they can not be physically harmed or killed for it.)

Mourro wrote:I sincerely hope that the TurtleShroom government will respond to my report.

We are honored to do so, line by line, sentence by sentence, board by board.
We would be pleased to invite you and any friends for a full tour and explanation of our government, complete with visits to our state mental asylums and interviews with creatures from the Inquisition, the Ministry of the Enforcement of the Prohibiton, John Raven (of anti-nekomimi John Raven Code fame), the Board of Censors, and any possible creature you've ever dreamed of inquiring.

We would love for you to come to our country and see everything in regards to rights and the like. We are open and transparent and will not lie to any guest.

Thank you for your analysis and opinions. We value your input and would be honored to strengthen ties between our two great, Prohibitionist nations. (We hope that your Nobel Experiment is going as good as ours!)
Again, thank you for taking the time to review our people and our state. We hope to hear much, much, MUCH more from you as time progresses.

Warmest of regards,
-Human Plessy, Elected Clerk of the Supreme General Court of the Holy Republic of TurtleShroom
