We repeal the liberation.
Asgard and some defenders both move into the region and endorse someone who is neither Defender nor Invader.
That person places a password and refounds the region.
The new founder manages the region on their own, so that everyone may enjoy the region.

The only problem I ever had with this plan was that it was being done by an invader. However I would have had the same problem if a defender had done it. What I am more interested in is refounding Christmas (and frankly, all founderless regions) for two purposes:
1. To discourage invading.
2. To place more focus on regional culture.
I don't see what is wrong with that. Asgard was, in my oppinion, doing the right thing.
Thank you for your previous support in regard to Liberate Christmas. That said, though, Asgard will not be endorsing a Delegate of Christmas unless it is an Asgardian Delegate there for the purpose of refounding Christmas as a colony of Asgard. We have already put significant time and work into Christmas -- more than any native ever has -- and we will not give yet more time and work to see it handed over to someone who did not put that level of energy into the region.
We will especially not endorse a "neutral" Delegate as it has been our experience that the vast majority of those who claim neutrality are in all reality much more sympathetic to defenderism.
In regard to refounding all founderless regions, we're opposed to that. It would make the raider-defender aspect of the game obsolete and would in all likelihood destroy NationStates.
