OOC: Um, why? The comment was clearly In Character (IC), there is no actual threat of mauling. If the mods took action against all IC chat, half the users of the forums would probably be banned by now. The mods are only concerned with OOC (Out Of Character) threats, as these are actual threats directed against a person or persons, while IC threats are directed against a fake persona/nation etc. Sometimes nations put IC or OOC in front of the statement to make it clearer. Here is an example of an IC "threat":

IC: Oh no, not again! Another awful proposal from Keshiland! We will throw the Keshiland ambassador out of the nearest window if they try to write another one.

In Calladan, as soon as the umbilical cord is cut, we send our children out to fight their first bear. If they live, we believe they are ready for adulthood. If they die, then they were probably not fit for life anyway.

So for us, the time it takes to raise our offspring is the time it takes to cut the cord and throw them out the nearest window into the bear pit. Which is, on average, around two minutes, give or take.

Two minutes in prison as a trade off for an illegal abortion? I can live with that

I've never understood this argument. Recognizing fetal personhood would not entail this parade of horribles that I've often seen trotted out with little evidence.

OOC: Except Keshi's proposal does just that, if you'll read it.

Also, I've never understood the argument that abortion is murder, so I guess we'll just have to accept that there will be things in this world we can't understand...
