THE EXPERIENCE
(A Collective Blog from the Dagan schools participating in the NSCAA tournament)

Today’s Contributor: Brianna Clarke, Senior, Shooting Guard, University of Starksville
Major: Computer Science GPA: 4.0

Good morning everyone, and I would like to welcome everyone to this little thing I put together called The Experience. Most of the people out there are familiar with the regular Cassadagan bloggers who provide first-person insight as to how their respective national teams are doing in some of the most fascinating tournaments in the world. They are very inspiring players, and even though basketball is the sport for me, I enjoyed watching the likes of Shannon Myers in soccer or Meghan Corrigan in baseball just as much. It’s not just what they did in their chosen sports that was inspiring, but what they did when not playing: hard workers and most importantly, great people. What I have done with this blog is send out emails to players from other schools and hope that they will follow suit and tell you what is on their mind. I have gotten a fantastic response, and I hope it is something that all of our great fans out there will enjoy.

I will begin with my own experience. When I accepted the full scholarship offer from the University of Starksville, I was absolutely thrilled, not just for the chance to play college basketball at a high level, but to go to this fabulous learning institution. When I was a high school senior, this was my first choice, and while I got recruited from several other schools, including many that are also participating here, when I got accepted to Starksville, I cried tears of joy. Unlike some of the other schools from Cassadaigua that are participating, Starksville had never been in a previous tournament. There were some good years, and it was a competitive program at home, but not quite an elite. When I first got here we started getting better, but this season has been one of the best in school history, and it has culminated with us having this great chance, to play some of the best schools in the world.

The Conference that we are a part of is the Uniballer Conference, and with it we will be able to go to some great nations such as Delaclava, Newmanistan, and Bluth Corporation. Those are exciting places to go to because there is a rich sporting history in each of them. Another nation is Sibirsky, where those professional team bloggers will tell you, is a place that we always seem to be in the same group with. This is a little different of course, since both us and Sibirsky have sent many different schools. It was an interesting place to be, and we got the win, making us 3-2 in the early stages. Back on campus, classmates, professors and staff are honored that we have been this competitive, and I think we are all confident that this is something that we will be able to keep up. I have not had as hard of a time as some of my teammates have had with the balance of academics, but that is part of the glory of majoring in computer science! Starksville, though, has provided such a great support system for all of us, and they are not going to let us slip up. It makes me really proud to go here!

Well thanks for reading!

OOC: Please credit this RP to all my teams.

Mais University4-2, 3rd place Big 11 Conference • The Explorers started off the season with four home wins, earning them a tie atop the Big 11. However, two 20+ road losses to Northern Dinagat State and Villanova-Charlotte are very suspicious; it remains to be seen if Mais’ success is merely due to home court advantage. Their next game is at conference leaders Concord Heights, followed by two more away games versus Tundra Falls and CD Vonghurst. If the Explorers can close out this early road series with a strong win or two, expect them to be hanging around the top of the Big 11 for a while.

V’hai University3-3, 6th place Woodfield Conference • V’hai has already put themselves on the conference map with wins over Qazox-Las Vitas and Van der Veil at home, as well as a close three-point loss to Saltville State. However, a loss to sub-.500 Our lady of Lourdes and a pummeling at the hands of Grimmstad-Ròtten do not bode well for this promising but thus far middling team. The Perennials have two easy games coming up on their schedule in the midst of a grueling away series; their real test will be a match at conference leaders Brighton College. Coach Atuto Bocebal hopes to improve the team’s defense, deeming it the key to success (meaning an NSCAA berth).

Grand Onulei University2-4, 10th place Goldsoul Conference • It hasn’t exactly been an easy start for Grand Onulei. The Tribals were stymied in away games at Fair Haven State and Superdavetopia. The team is now on a three-game losing streak that has seen them drop from fourth place to tenth in the Goldsoul. Their ongoing road series ends with games at ninth-place St. Stephen’s, first-place Fairfield City, and last-place Mile High – and they’re banking on winning at least one of them. Freshman point guard Varedit Volemam has been the team star, but the Tribals need more consistent output from their frontcourt – including Fassoz Danihe, the team captain who has been hampered by the flu.

Ba’natu University4-2, 3rd place Azure Skies Conference • Ba’natu is one of the only Civil Citizenry teams to have been successful on the road thus far in the season, thanks in large part to the coaching of Danu Gororerf, a former sports psychologist. A large win at Newcastle, along with a win at St. John’s Island, have vaulted the Warriors into third place in the Azure Skies. Their road series ends with games at hapless Western Carasatoga, second-place Centralia Empire, and tenth-place Spitfyred U.

Civilia University 1-4, 9th place Q Continuum Conference • When the Bears began the season on a four-game losing streak, coach Booniness Hofi knew something had to change. Civilia played a little more defensively-minded in a game at Starrymere Tech, and though it wasn’t by much, they escaped with a much-needed road win. They’ll need more where that came from if they want any hope at making the NSCAA Tournament – though, in fairness, there are twenty-five games left for the Bears. Guard Kudesoy Pimamasos has been impressive behind the arc, but the team needs more components to build a winning dynasty.

Regalia University3-2, 6th place Carry the 1 Conference • The Kings are happy to have a positive record one-eighth of the way through the season; however, their wins were over the eighth-, tenth-, and eleventh-place teams. A four-point loss to conference leaders Marlborough School of Medicine is encouraging, but overall there’s not much early in the season to suggest big things in Regalia’s future. Coach Oluraz Niqasi has acknowledged the team’s offensive output has been meager at best, and the Kings look to become more physical inside with the help of forward Yomudad Gafesee and center Napolik Edesapoo.

Mixed results for Cosumarite schools in NSCAA 3!

Despite all of the hype surrounding Cosumar's participation in its first NSCAA season, our ten universities have encountered difficulties competing with their foreign foes. Cosumar's schools have combined for a disappointing 23-26 record after 6 games, with some schools making a decent start, but many others not. Has your favorite school been able to keep up with the international competition? Below, you can find the post-MD6 report of all the other Cosumarite squads participating in NSCAA 3, as well as additional info on some of the top Cosumarite athletes thus far.

Stoneshore College
(Royal Mountain Conference: 1-4, 8th)

The Bruins were projected to be one of Cosumar's best chances to earn representation in the NSCAA tournament, but after 5 games, Stoneshore has dug themselves quite a hole. The Bruins lost their first 3 games: getting slammed by Saint Nash University, Saugeais State, and Lakeview by double-digit margins. The Bruins got their first W on the schedule in their fourth game, against Clampo National by 10. The next day, however, Stoneshore reverted to their old ways and suffered a beat down at the hands of Ebor Northern. This has been a very poor showing for Stoneshore and they have sunk to the bottom tier of squads in the Royal Mountain Conference, at 8th place. The Bruins will travel to BC of Atlanta in Virabia tonight. This would be a great opportunity for Stoneshore to get a win and turn things around. It's early in the season and things aren't set in stone yet, but you can't wait too lnog to make your comeback.

Key Players
SF Thomas Jamison (17.1 PPG, 8 RPG)
C Jacob Havard (9.0 PPG, 12 RPG)

Slivelle Academy
(Pioneer League: 4-1, 2nd)

As of now, the Slivelle Academy is Cosumar's most successful team, with a 4-1 record and 2nd place position in the Pioneer League. The Crusaders have routed all of their opponents thus far, with the only exception being Lycrabon's Lakeview Unviersity, to whom Slivelle lost by 5. As much as Slivelle is despised by basketball fans here in Cosumar, the Crusaders are looking hot and seek to continue their streak tonight against Ithaca Big Red Basketball of Virabia. Nathaniel Pace has been imprressive, and is the highest scoring Cosumarite in the NSCAA.

Key Players
SF Nathaniel Pace (25.6 PPG, 5.4 RPG)
PG Peter McDouglas (8.7 PPG, 12.1 APG)

Crisalus Fief University
(One Big Conference: 3-2, 5th)

CFU has been moderately successful thus far, despite the common thought that the Bears were the weakest Cosumarite team sent to the NSCAA. The Bears sit in the middle of the pack in One Big Conference, at 5th place. A few solid wins in the next few games could see Crisalus Fief climb the standings quite a bit, being only 1.5 games out of first place. CFU's next game will be tonight at Eddison Arena against Brattleboro University of Cassadigua. UBR is just behind CFU in the standings at 2-3, so this would be a good win for the Bears.

Key Players
PG Theodore Scandarson (14.7 PPG, 7.3 APG)
PF William Kendrick (13.8 PPG, 7 RPG)

University of the Western Isles
(Emperor Justin I Conference: 2-3, 7th)

Like CFU, the Western Isles' selection to participate in the NSCAA was disputed, as they were not even a top-10 ranked team in the last Cosumarite season. So far, their performance has been mediocre, displaying a 2-3 record after 5 games. However, UWI has played very well and could be 4-1 right now. In their last two losses, UWI has lost by 1 point thanks to last second buzzer beaters from Esca Capital and Lycrabon War College. This team has talent and Bob Newman is an excellent coach, they can go far if they could just work on finishing games. In both of their heartbreaking last-second losses, UWI led for most of the game. Their next shot at a W will be against Brattleboro-Tech Institute of Cassaigua. UBT is currenlty in 2nd place in the Emperor Justin I Conference, so this will be a nice challenge for UWI. Luckily the game will be played at the Firestorm Basketball Battleground in Na'Malsile. Leading the way will be UWI's terrifying guard duo, Ash and Pandon.

Key Players
PG Simeon Ash (12.9 PPG, 14.0 APG)
SG Jack Pandon (15.2 PPG, 5.7 APG)

University of Klyde
(Octavius Conference: 3-2, 5th)

Klyde, one of Cosumar's most highly-touted teams, is another school with a mediocre start. Klyde has looked hot at times (against Youngstown, Southport) but extremely flat at others (against Jackson State). The team can't seem to get any sort of consistency. If Coach Kristoph could just rally the team and get them to play as they are capable of, this team would be nearly unbeatable. Next up for Klyde is Winchester University of Cassadaigua, a basketball powerhouse near the top of the Octavius Conference. This will be a tough game for the Sharks, and their road doesn't get much easier with Valhalla and Laufstone looming ahead. Klyde is in a tough conference and if some miraculous change doesn't occur it will be a long season for the Sharks.

Key Players
SG Drew Simmons (20.1 PPG)
SF Frederick Johanaimmes (12.5 PPG, 8.4 RPG, 5.3 APG)

Eastweald University
(Uniballer Conference: 2-3, 8th place)

Eastweald may be one of Cosumar's oldest and most historic basketball schools, but history is of little worth on the court. And in the Warriors' first five games, it showed. The green-and-gold haven't gotten slaughtered like some other Cosumarite squads though, and Eastweald has stayed within 10 points of every opponent thus far, even those from giants like Newmanistan. Like Klyde, Eastweald seems to fold like a tent under pressure in the final minutes of close games. At 2-3, Eastweald has sunk to 8th place in the conference. Luckily, it's still early on and Eastweald can turn things around in their next game against the University of Starksville, the current 4th place team.

Key Players
SG Sawyer Vyardennir (18.8 PPG)
C Namien Na'Sord (10.5 PPG, 10.4 RPG)

Crawford University
(Q Continuum Conference: 3-2, 5th)

Ah, yet another school to join the hordes of Cosumarite teams posting mediocre records. The Cougars have picked up good wins such as their 15 point whipping of Starrymere Tech but have looked lost on the court in other games, such as their embarrassing 25 point loss to Arsika Military College. The Q Contiuum Conference doesn't appear to be too difficult, so Crawford should be able to pick things up and salvage the season. Tonight, the Cougars will take on Cassadiagua's New Lakeland Business School at Cougar Coliseum.

Key Players
PG Dexter Oswell (12.6 PPG, 8.0 APG)
C Felix Respighi (8.9 PPG, 15.9 RPG)

Konsor Fief University
(Carry the 1 Conference: 0-5, 11th)

The Raiders are 0-5. There's nothing much to say other than that they've been simply awful. They have been manhandled by every team they have encountered, besides their two point loss to Rosemeadow City College. I really can't see KFU finishing outside of the bottom three of the Carry the 1 Conference unless something drastic happens. Coach Cade Bosswell better get things together before KFU ends up as the laughingstock of the NSCAA.

Key Players
SF Jakob Gullade (11.9 PPG)
PF Benjamin Louis (7.4 PPG, 8.6 RPG)

Kaldukosk University
(Big 11 Conference: 3-2, 4th)

Kaldukosk is the reigning champion in Cosumar, so their lack of domination in the Big 11 Conference is the most disappointing thing of all. The team is loaded with talent at every position. It baffles me how this team is losing to the likes of Tundra Falls. Kaldukosk has underachieved with a 3-2 record and 4th place, even though this is the 2nd highest Cosumarite school in standings. The Avengers' next challenge will be Grant State (2-4), which should be an easy win. Kaldukosk is cosumar's most talented team here, they'd better start acting like it.

Key Players
C Gage Heisey (13.1 PPG, 15.7 RPG)
SG Darius Hodges (17.7 PPG)

Ramusok Capital University
(Woodfield Conference: 2-3, 9th)

Another startling disappointment is RCU's failure to obtain a winning record after 5. RCU is the only Cosumarite school familiar with international competition, but it turns out that that hasn't helped them much. RCU has dropped three games and only won two, sinking them into 9th place, in the bottom three slots of the Woodfield Conference. The team has had good moments, such as MD4's win over Concord Heights Beauty School, but has struggled against more physical teams such as Brighton College. Cosumar will next travel to play Our Lady of Lords in MD7, hopefully this team is as weak as their name sounds and RCU will be able to improve to a .500 record.

Key Players
PG Montrell Carter (9.8 PPG, 11.7 APG)
PF Xander Unitor (20.8 PPG, 6.2 RPG)

Azure Skies Conference: Matchdays 7-9

Matchday 7 Scores
Spitfyred University (Spitfyred1) 67–64 Centralia Empire University (Newmanistan)
C - Elmer Sklue Senior 15pts
PF - Big Boi Senior 15pts
SF - Adam Meway Junior 10pts
SG - Cobe Brient Freshman 20pts
PG - Jeanette Akenja-Nearing Freshman 7pts

Matchday 8 Scores
Mangolana University (Mangolana) 76–63 Spitfyred University (Spitfyred1)
C - Elmer Sklue Senior 15pts
PF - Big Boi Senior 15pts
SF - Adam Meway Junior 10pts
SG - Cobe Brient Freshman 20pts
PG - Jeanette Akenja-Nearing Freshman 7pts

Matchday 9 Scores
Ba'natu University (Civil Citizenry) 102–62 Spitfyred University (Spitfyred1)
C - Elmer Sklue Senior 15pts
PF - Big Boi Senior 15pts
SF - Adam Meway Junior 9pts
SG - Cobe Brient Freshman 20pts
PG - Jeanette Akenja-Nearing Freshman 7pts

Coaches Tips- The team scored very few points. As I have been saying for the past two weeks, Adam Meway and Jeanette Akenja-Nearing need to step up. The team depends on it. Matchday 9 was a prime example of shitty defense. Ba'natu had no trouble scoring at all. The lax attitude on defense surely showed. The team will continue to lose unless something special happens. I suggest the scouts focus on next year and start recruiting now.

Clampo National Cats University season update

Postby Clampo » Mon Feb 28, 2011 7:39 pm

It been a terrific year for Clampo City. Latest polls show that socialist Kerry Yong will remain president. Unemployment fell to 7%. And the Clampo Nation University basketball made the NSCAA.

Until now.

All of a sudden Clampo seems to be struggling. There are 2-4. Their first game was an 88-78 victory. It looked like Clampo was playing well. Then, the defense collapsed.

It looked like Clampo would beat Glande Mountain. Ahead 41-34 at the break, Sam Songster's sqaud built 55-45 lead with 10 minutes to go.

The warning sing is when GMU made three strait dunks, cutting a 10 point lead down to 4. Clampo then hit a three from the corner, and two isolation fallaway jumpers to take 62-51 lead, their biggest of the game. Glande Mountain hit four strait threes and switched defenses to a 3-2 zone.

This meant no scoring for Clampo and four offensive fouls. All of a sudden GMU took a 63-62 lead. Clampo answered with a bucket and a free throw, but they refused to shoot from the outside. GMU made two more ducks and a layup in 30 seconds. Then, Clampo started shooting from the outside. However, they missed two strait three pointers. This meant two easy layups form Grande Mountain. CU fell behind by double digits, trailed 76-66 with 3:14 to play.

Clampo hit two three pointer, but GMU was also scoring. They ultimately lost 88-75.

Stay tuned for more information on the country's website including info about the "Gold Medal Act" that Parliament passed yesterday.

National Journal
After three weeks, let's look at collegiate basketball

The Saugeais teams in the NSCAA regular have varied from great to crap. Let's take a look at how the teams have been fairing.

Saugeais State:6-2, 3rd in Royal Mountain Conference

The Lancers have not disappointed this season. The defending Saugeais Collegiate Basketball Champs have posted triple digit scores against the likes of Clampo National and Stoneshore College. However, the two losses the Lancers have came against a follow powerhouse and a mediocre team just behind them. As the season is almost a third of the way done, only time will tell if leading scorer Francis Perch will lead his team to a hearty winning streak to the top of the conference.

Bugny A&M:3-5, 8th in Pioneer League Conference

The Eagles have had more to think about then other teams in the conference. Only one win can be deemed a quality win, an 83-60 win over Davidson, while the other two were barely double digits. The Eagles and coach Francisco Salieri need to think of something quick or they'll be in the gutter the rest of the season.

University of Gilley:4-4, tied 5th in One Big Conference

The Lumberjacks have had a roller coaster season only three weeks in! They would get hot one week, cold the next, it just won't stop. Smack dab in the middle of the conference, Gilley can only hope to improve as the season goes on.

Arçon University:4-4, tied 4th in Emperor Justin I Conference

The Wolfpack have had some hard luck the past few games, especially when they should have a few more wins under their belt. All four of their losses have been by less then 10 points, while on the other side most of their wins are over 15 points. So Arçon can show some dominance at times, but they need to be more consistent if they want to top the conference.

Les Alliés Tech:5-3, 2nd in Octavius Conference

Having lost their last two games, the Wasps need to get their act together or they will fall in the conference. It may be early, but when 3 wins separate 2nd place from last place, you really need to step up and play all out. Expect the guards to come out and attempt more three pointers and the center to block more as the season goes on.

University of Saugeais - Longview:4-4, tied 5th in Uniballer Conference

The story of the Saugeais teams' mediocrity continues with Saugeais-Longview. Right in the middle of the conference, the head coach has said before that they don't plan to stay there for long. A few adjustments to the roster has given the Sharks a more physical presence in the paint, leading to more close up points and rebounds. We shall see if their new strategy will pay off.

University of Saugeais - Metalton:3-5, tied 7th in Q Continuum Conference

The Metalton Ironmen have shown many dents throughout the season so far. They haven't won convincingly all season, leading many of their supporters questioning is they'll get to the big dance at the end of the season. The head coach said motivation will be the key in their practices and trusts that the players will respond well. No changes will be made to the lineup and hope the play will turn around.

Havlat A&T:4-4, tied 5th in Carry the 1 Conference

The Aggies started the season strong, going 3-1 and winning convincingly throughout the opening. However in the next four games, Havlat has lost three straight, including one in overtime, severely dampening the spirits of the team. The coach says that we can't let the losing streak continue and will do everything in his power to get the team back on track, as well as restore confidence in his guard's shooting abilities.

OOC: Please credit this RP to all my teams.

Mais University7-2, 1st place Big 11 Conference • Any suspicions about the Explorers' road play were laid down to rest with three away wins, claiming first place of the Big 11 in the process. An 81-79 win - led by six points in the last minute by guard Chivura Menared - over Concord Heights, at the time riding fly atop the conferrence, sent haters reeling. Tundra Falls fans went silent when they were smashed by Mais, 93-57; then the team opened a lead as large as twenty points before finishing CD Vonghurst off, sealing a three-game winning streak before they return home. The Explorers will prove their worthiness of leading the Big 11 in the next few days, as they take on second-place Kaldukosk at home before heading back on the trail with games at third-place Bruxen State and fifth-place Triniteras State

V’hai University6-3, 3rd place Woodfield Conference • When the Perennials began a five-game away series, they were already marked by most critics as doubtful for making the NSCAA Tournament. But they return home on a three-game winning streak and third place in the Woodfield. Wins over Concord Heights Beauty and Weston were unsurprising, but defeating second-place Brighton by a margin of seventeen was pleasantly extraordinary. V’hai has solidified itself as a conference contender, a force that cannot be ignored as the season progresses. Atuto Bocebal has started to raise the team’s bar higher and higher; the question is, can they surpass it from here on out?

Grand Onulei University5-4, 4th place Goldsoul Conference • The Tribals have made quite the turnaround in their road series, especially in their last three games. Wins in all of them have vaulted Grand Onulei from tenth to fourth place in the Goldsoul – a huge confidence factor heading into the dog days of the season. Their highlight was pulling away from second-place Fairfield City at the end of a close game to win by nine. Varedit Volemam’s eighteen points per game in the last three games have helped tremendously, while the return of Fassoz Danihe and the emergence of Lejonerg Qecopit as dominant inside powerhouses have contributed to the Tribals’ surge.

Ba’natu University7-2, 1st place Azure Skies Conference • Ba’natu hadn’t been doing badly four games into the season, but Danu Gororerf knew his team could do better. The team’s hard work finally paid off: the Warriors went 5-0 on their grueling road trip, and as a reward they are now perched atop the Azure Skies standings. Wins over Centralia Empire and Newcastle were highlights for the team; also of note was guard Zaxilared Bon’s scoring 32 of 102 team points in smashing Spitfyred U. After a home game versus Mangolana U, the Warriors will be back on the road for four matches, including games against second-place Glasshollow and fourth-place Gothika State.

Civilia University2-6, 9th place Q Continuum Conference • Most Civil Citizenry teams were dominant on their road trips, but the same cannot be said of Civilia. The Bears have fallen to 2-6, with their only wins coming against Arsika Military and lowly Starrymere Tech. At ninth place, the Bears are not on the right track to have a shot at an NSCAA bid. The loss of Ranak Woopent down low has caused headaches for Booniness Hofi, who knows the team’s offensive stagnation is holding them back. Their next few games will determine if Civilia can make a fight for glory, or settle in for a rebuilding year.

Regalia University3-5, 8th place Carry the 1 Conference • Through five games of the season, Kings fans were encouraged by the team’s 3-2 record, though they knew only better offensive production would be enough to succeed in the tough Carry the 1. Scoring 84 points in a loss to Ibon Industrial helped, too. But then Regalia lost a heartbreaker at home to Charleston, and that was followed by a schooling at the hands of SNA, scoring an anemic 56 points. There have been reports that Oluraz Niqasi might be on the hot seat, though players have tried to dispel these rumors. Still, Niqasi will need to be creative in maximizing the skill of his weak roster. Neither Yomudad Gafesee nor Napolike Edesapoo have been as physical as the team would like, and the backcourt has only limited potential. Though the Kings are by no means out of contention for an NSCAA bid, their current pace is not promising.

Villinova-Charlotte University University

Villinova is going strong with a 4-4 record. Today we will be focusing on 7'1 center George Mason recruited last year. He was one of the best players in North Klent Highschool Basketball. He averages 29.0 points and is one of the best in NSCAA. He has a nice jumper and can dribble while he is a monster in the paint getting 20 of his points just dunking on who ever he goes up against. His only challenge will be Gage Heisey and Kaldukosk University. All he has to do is get the rest of the team to play hard and Villinova-Charlotte University will have the Big 11 Conference in the bag.

THE EXPERIENCE
(A Collective Blog from the Dagan schools participating in the NSCAA tournament)

Today’s Contributor: Sarah Kearney, Point Guard, Junior, New Lakeland Business School
Major: Interregional Trade GPA: 3.2

Hello everyone, I would like to thank Brianna Clarke of the University of Starksville for setting up this blog and I am honored to be the next participant. Things are absolutely different for all of us at the New Lakeland Business School then what you would hear from Brianna or any of the other Dagan schools which are participating in the tournament. I never grew up in a female-dominated society. I grew up in a culture where the only thing that mattered was how much money you made. Growing up in Lakeland, I wasn’t a Dagan, I was a Secristani. I didn’t enjoy Courtney Ferguson, or Meghan Corrigan, or World Cup Titles, or World Baseball Classic championships, I enjoyed well, not a whole lot. You could still play professional sports as a female in Secristan, as long as you could afford it. But to have your life and career depend on an auction, well that was pretty annoying. When the government of Secristan collapsed and then ceased to exist, things were difficult. I will not say that my parents were rich, but we were upper middle class, and that just made you a target for the looters and thieves. My parents had the presence of mind to move east, to Cassadaigua, and I have been a Dagan citizen for four years.

When Newmanistan began their occupation of the Secristani land, we all hoped for the best but wondered what would happen. Would there be a big war? Would Newmanistan expand all the way to the Cassadagan border? Would Cassadaigua expand west to the Newmanistan border? Questions, questions, questions. Fortunately, things were resolved peacefully on our end, agreeing to a rationing of former Secristan between our nations. And it would so happen, that my hometown, Lakeland, would be saved, and would be part of Cassadaigua. As a family, we could return to where we grew up, and remain citizens of Cassadaigua. The city would be renamed New Lakeland, and we are all striving here to make it the great and prosperous city that it was, with a lot less corruption!

As I walk on campus, there are many different opinions about what happened to the former government. There are the elitist people, those who think that the city should do things the Secristani way. Then you have others, who are mostly the men, who wish the city became part of Newmanistan and not Cassadaigua, and then there are others like myself who are proud to be Dagans. Sometimes, this creates a lot of arguing and fighting (both verbally and physically) on campus, but we are getting better with that lately as we are learning to become one people, and not all of these different ethnic groups. They would say that is something that would take time, and that couldn’t be any more true. One of the great ways for us to come together is through this NSCAA tournament, where all of us join together as a student body and support the team. When the students go to the arena, we are united, and as a player on the floor, I can’t put it into words good enough about how wonderful it makes all of us feel. We have gotten good results thus far, and I think when you take into consideration where we have all come from, and what we have all gone through, 8-3 is a record to be very proud of.

I hope it continues and I thank you for reading.
