The Australian team filled out of the stadium with a look of defeat on their faces. They were so sure that they would win all their matches and advance to the knock- out stage, but now they were not so sure. They had clearly underestimated their opponents, The Karen Union, and had been beaten 2-0. The Australian players all new that to advance to the next stage of this tournament they would need to win at least one more game and draw the other, and even then they were not sure to qualify. They needed to win the next to matches, this was for sure so with their heads bowed they boarded their team bus and headed to the resort where they were staying for the tournament. The bus trip was relatively silent, for all of the players new that the next day would contain some serious training, this time they would be prepared. Their next game was against Tenthreich, the team that had beaten Xasem, 2-1 just a couple of hours ago, they new that they could win, they just needed to have the right preparation. After they got off the bus they started to unwind from the game they just had, many players had ice-bathes and swimming session, others had full-body massages, whilst others did excruciating stretches, runs and weights. Two hours later all the players were loose and ready for some training for the match in 2 days. "I know we have a short break between games," the manager said to all the players in the conference room, "but that is no excuse for bad football, you guys are some of the fittest and talented footballers on the planet, I know we can take this competition by storm if we just stay focused." All of the players shouted out in their agreement as the training schedule and the opposing team profiles where downloaded onto the players personal iPads. "Now don't turn on your iPads yet men," The coach explained to the players, "first we have a recording of the game we played to day and a some other footage we would like to show you, then you can retire to your rooms for a good nights sleep. All of the men watched as the game was replayed to them and some additional footage was played to them, they were going to be ready this time, they were sure to defeat their opponents and proceed to th next round. They had the hope of a nation on their shoulders, how could they fail now?

First time in a NS sports event, I have some questions:

What is the diference between RP and Godmod injuries?
The scorinator only handles the final score, or handles also the injuries and red and yellow cards?

Thanks in advance!

RPing means roleplaying - making up normal, ordinary events; godmod means taking things to an extreme. For instance, a regular RP injury could be a player twisting his ankle; a godmod injury could be a player getting shot by a fan.

Most scorinators only give the score, which gives participants a wide berth to make up potential scenarios and have fun RPing.

Warkus Footy Times
The Warkus National Football Team, is now a participant in the group stage of the 1st Internationale Cup, hosted by Vorograd. Today we are going to review our group, group B.

The Siberian Nation - We've never heard of these guys, nor do they have a KPB ranking. Since we don't know where they're at, they might pack a lot of punch, or we will drink theirs. Mmmm punch.

Arcquest - Ranked 222, we think we can beat them. They don't seem like the ones who would beat us, but they might cause an upset.

New Hayesalia - No KPB ranking. We aren't sure of what they can do yet...

Warkus - Well...If your from here you could skip this part. Ranked 70th in the KPB Rankings, round of 16 in the 1st Burchandinger Invitational Cup, round of 16 in our Baptism Of Fire, we've also caused upsets against some of the greats. We think we can get through this.

And remember, the first one to call our number (Thats 1-800-WEDONTEXISTTELEGRAMWARKUSINSTEAD) and say I HAZ SAW UR NEWZPAPER Will recieve tickets to the next game against New Hayesalia and 5-star accomodation in Vorograd!

Be sure to check our next issue where we will discuss the results of the match!

THE KERNANSQUILLECAN DAILY SPORTS EDITION

KERNANSQUILLEC RECORD DRAW IN FIRST EVER INTERNATIONAL
From Vorograd, special report Gabrielle RENNOISE

At the Crucible Stadium the whole of Kernansquillec turned on their TVs to watch their men's football first ever international friendly, in the Internationale Cup, sponsored by the Reserve Bank of Indonesia and hosted by Vorograd.

Kernansquillec's manager Dean HAROLD told a pre match press conference that despite this being the lads first ever match they were doing well with their nerves and that he hoped the whole antion would unite behind the team and see them do well against their opening group game against Great- Britain.

He annonced the expected squad of
GK- Stuart HENDERSON - n.1
RB- Jean-Louis PINNARD - n.2
LB- Jack SWEEPER - n.3
CBR- Didier BOURSIER - n.4
CBL- Gary CONNOR (c.) - n.5
RM- Adam LILAC - n.9
LM- Fernando MATIGNON - n.8
CMR- Wagbo HAROLD - n.6
CML- Jaques LE GRAND - n.7
RCF- Lewis KENT - n.10
LCF- Peter ROLLAND - n.11
which was the expected squad except for Right Midfielder, Adam LILAC who was until now relitavly unheared of, something which propably made Great- Britain's manager worry a bit.

So the game kicked off with 37,249 Kernansquillecan fans making the long trip to see the game. Kernansquillec's Prime Minister, Benjamin ALFORD, was also at the stadium to watch the action.

The game kicked off with Kernansquillec in their green and white kits playing against the Lions who were in red and white.

A stutterish start saw Great- Britain take advantidge of poor midfield play to create the first chance that pulled a decent save from Stuart HENDERSON. Great play on the right wing between captain and vice-captain, Christopher Moore and Mathew Lewis saw a shot go just wide of the top left hand corner of the net. Wagbo HAROLD got the game's first booking for a late chalange on Jonathon Redford. Kernansquillec did manage to start to get a foothold in the game 5 minutes before half time with some great play by wildcard Adam LILAC who crossed from the right only to see Lewis KENT head over from 6 yards out.

HALF TIME: Great- Britain 0 - 0 Kernansquillec

The second half was much more of an even afair with both teams finding the net only for both to be ruled out by referee Harry FARGOT. Kernansquillec found the net just 97 seconds after the kicked off but Peter ROLLAND was definatly offside by about 2 yards. it seem that combined with a good team talk spurred on the lads and despite brilliant defending by the Lions we still got some shots on target only for George ANDERSON to sumther them all. Great- Britain hit back on the 63' on the counter when Oliver THOMPSON found the net but was judged to have fouled Kernansquillec's goalkeeper. Both sides seemed to tire in the last 10 minutes and the game ended on a dull note but despite this Kernansquillec are showing encouraging signs after this first game. The Green & White army take on Albertasby who won their group game 3-1, propably Kernansquillec's toughest group game.

THE DAILY KERNANSQUILLEC SPORTS EDITION

HIGH HOPES FOR THE XI
From the Crucible Stadium in Vorograd, special report Gabrielle RENNOISE

Tonight Kernansquillec's national football team will take on Albertasby, the group leaders, who went on the rampage last time out against Tekcirb, who lost 3-1 in the first internationale cup group C game.

Dean HAROLD has named an unchanged 11 for tonight game which will be shown live on KBC 1 from 5PM. There was an ingury concern about midfielder Fernando MATIGNON who was rumored to have pulled his thigh but he keeps his spot in the starting XI.

Many Kernansquillec fans are expected to pack teh stadium tonight in the hope that they will see an other good performance by the greens & whites, their first goal, and hopefully a nice 3 points.

To qualify Kernansquillec would idealy like to get 2 wins out of 2 in their final 2 group C games but a draw and a win sould see them qualify. It looks like tonight game will be the toughest of the group so we will need to play some great football to see the Albertasbies off.

THE KERNANSQUILLECAN DAILY SPORTS EDITION

First goals were not enought: When will Kernansquillec get a win?
From Vorograd, special report Gabrielle RENNOISE

A great game by Kernansquillec's players saw them get their first 2 international goals and get a second point on the table. They might be in 3rd place at the moment but a win against Tekcirb who beat Great- Britain by a massive 5-0.

Kernansquillec had an unchanged side for last night's game against Albertasby. A win would have been welcome but a late Thundern CRÜSHA penalty denided the Kernansquillec fans a great memory.

However the Kernansquillec fans were left dreaming of a victory after only 8 minutes when Snowflake ICIA cut inside and sent a ball thought to Lové Hearté who had no hesitaiton in passing the ball past Stuart HENDERSON. This strike should have knocked the stuffing out of the Kers. and their fasn but instead it gave them some passion about their game and the Green & White army were soon back in the game in terms of gameplay with Wagbo HAROLD knocking a free header over from 6 yards out after a corner by Adam LILAC.

Despite having about 55% of possesion at this stage, Kernansquillec almost toke a second after Jack SWEEPER tackled Toadstar HETAL and received a yellow card. Thundern CRÜSHA knocked the free kick just wide.

HALF TIME: Albertasby 1 - 0 Kernansquillec (ICIA 9')

In the second half it was a much more physical game with Windana BLOWNE and Jaques LE GRAND both getting yellow cards for late chalanges in the first 10 minutes of the second half. But on a neat breakaway by Kernansquillec a Fernando MATIGNON cross was headed on from the near post by Peter ROLLAND and was met by the right foot of Adam LILAC who sent the 42,358 Kernansquillec fans into heven and the whole stadium was shaking such was the force of the cries of joy by the fans and the players. One all on the 61st minute.

And it only toke an other 5 minutes for the goalscorer Adma LILAC to regain the ball on the right wing, dribble past 3 defenders before sending in a butifful cross that was always heading for one place when it met Peter ROLLAND head. Kernansquillec fans couldn't find the words to say how happy they were, but you should could hear them. One report shows an earthquake of 0,4 magniture toke place inside the stadium seconds after the ball crosses the line.

But the happiness didn't last the whole night, in fact only 25 minutes when Thundern CRÜSHA was tripped by Didier BOURSIER. Thundern CRÜSHA then stepped up to score the equaliser in the 91st minute.

FULL TIME: Albertasby 2 - 2 Kernansquillec (ICIA 9' CRÜSHA 90'+1' - LILAC 61' ROLLAND 66')

GROUP C
1 Albertasby 4pts 5GF 3GA +2GD
2 Tekcirb 3pts 6GF 3GA +3GD
3 KERNANSQUILLEC 2pts 2GF 2GA +/-0GD
4 Great- Britain 1pt 0GF 5GA -5GD

All teams may still qualify.
Albertasby if: they win/they draw/they lose as long as Tekcirb beat Kernansquillec
Tekcirb if: they win/they draw
Kernansquillec if: they win
Great- Britain if: they win

RRT BROADCAST

Iron Stonsvanya Stadium, Doha-Rostov. A few minutes before the match Verukt vs Osberg-Thitania starts

BRUNO: greetings, dear spectators of the Royal Radio and Television! That´s Bruno Clausen!
VALERIA: and Valeria Cassini!
BRUNO: broadcasting live for all of you the 1st Internationale Cup, sponsored by The Reserve Bank of Indonesia!
VALERIA: (visibly reading from the teleprompter) Bruno, do you think that the fact that a bank sponsors this competition is a sign of the inminent collapse of the communist government of Vorograd?
BRUNO: of course, Valeria! It cannot be any other way.
VALERIA: after the victory in their first match against Fellow Citizens, the Bicolor faces today the team of the Social Democratic Federation of Verukt. A victory today would almost garantee the clasification for the second phase.
BRUNO: and a victory is very possible, specially if Fartoni, our goal keeper, improves his abissal performance of our first match.
VALERIA: and the players of both teams are entering in the playing field!
BRUNO: eleven versus eleven! The Social Democratic Federation of Verukt versus the Kingdom of Osberg-Thitania! Ladies and gentlemen, tonight, in Doha-Rostov, the expresion "Class Struggle" takes a whole new meaning!
