IAC-16 Hosting Information

Postby Drawkland » Sat Jul 23, 2022 3:18 pm

DRAWKLAND INFO:

Drawkland is a nation of legends and advancement, which has been an integral part of Sonnel's global history for thousands of years. Its borders comprise of an entire continent, inhabiting the space between the Navis and Oreme Oceans on Sonnel. To Drawkland's south lies the Revoda Sea, and south of that lies the continent of Suntae. Its population, well above a billion inhabitants, has devotion for many sports, including football. Drawkland is always proud to bring visitors to their shores to show off Drawkian splendor firsthand.

History: While the continent Drawkland sits upon has been inhabited for hundreds of thousands of years, the existence of Drawkland as a unified nation was something thought impossible for a vast majority of that history. When people have settled on the land, they separated in different tribes and settlements which were in conflict almost constantly. This didn't prevent several conquerers or budding dynasties from sweeping through the continent, claiming large swaths of land. However, those potential empires would crumble within about a century. The reasons varied, from political infighting, lack of infrastructure, ferocious flora and fauna, or perceived divine intervention. Whatever the exact cause, the land was often chaotic, hostile, and small due to man and nature. It was rare for people to ever leave the settlement they were born in, and few were able to travel further than a few towns away while living to tell the tale.

Around the same time, five exceptional military and political minds across the continent came to power in their own regions. These leaders slowly expended the boundaries of their own land, thanks to their expert campaigning. Eventually their intended boundaries intersected, and now surrounded by threats to their budding empires, the leaders formed uneasy alliances to wage war on each other. Several years of fighting resulted to little change in land ownership or safety for each leader's subjects. With each leader's forces locked in a stalemate, they reluctantly discussed terms to cease hostilities and perhaps even form into a sort of union.

The leaders agreed to terms that would lock their opposing regions in a loose alliance, with the hopes that it would stabilize life for everybody living on their land. The peace lasted for a couple decades, and the leaders agreed that it would be beneficial to unite under one banner. From there, the nation of Drawkland was born, the leaders named themselves the Drawkionels, and the land began to thrive. The leaders began to age and more historical texts were found detailing the rise and fall of continent-wide empires in generations past. There was worry among the Drawkionels that upon their death, series of succession crises or mistrust between their heirs would result in infighting and the collapse of the nation they had worked and fought so hard to create.

Through their study and exploration, the Drawkionels discovered a way that they could achieve immortality. Their idea was that they could go on this quest for life eternal, and if they succeeded, they could use their trust in each other to ensure that Drawkland would survive. They succeeded, and at long last, the continent knew peace and stability for generations. Drawkland was one of the first nations in Sonnel to be founded in the common era, and this stability along with a sustainability-focused immortal leadership resulted in Drawkland being the most influential Sonnelian nation throughout modern history.

Geography & Climate: Drawkland is on a large continent which stretches from the edge of the polar region all the way to the tropics. The large size and varied terrain results in a wide range of climates and environment. A vast majority of biomes can be found somewhere within Drawkland's shores. This IAC is focused on the Revoda Sea region of Sonnel due to the co-hosting with fellow Revoda Sea nation Juvencus. Because of this, all the venues selected are in Drawkland's southern territories for proximity's sake.

The two major southern territories are those of Malicoll and Ellzidan. Malicoll lies to the west of Ellzidan, forming the main southern section of Drawkland's area. It's directly south of Valsum, the large dormant volcano directly in Drawkland's center. The northern half of the territory is mostly desert, caused by a rain shadow from the mountain range to the east. As you move southward, the wind and rain from the south and west coasts turn the desert into a more temperate grassland, and the southern coast is dominated by sparse tropical forest. Drawkland's southern coast is comprised of rocky shores and cliffs, while the western side of Malicoll's territory is mostly beach.

Ellzidan's territory, even in Drawkland's highly advanced state, is still sparsely developed. Transportation infrastructure is a little less dense, cities don't sprawl as far, and the natural beauty of the wilderness is kept in good condition. The territory only holds land borders with Malicoll, looking more like a huge peninsula than anything else. Unlike the barren deserts of Malicoll's territory, most of Ellzidan is covered in dense forests to the north and jungles to the south. The center of the territory features the beginnings of a mountain range that almost stretches to Drawkland's northwest coastline, the same range that shadows Malicoll's deserts. The southern half of the territory is very wet and humid, and it gets a little drier as you go north.

People & Culture: The Drawkian ideals compel every Drawkian citizen to achieve their maximum potential, their own personal greatness. Raising a family is very common, and the idea of showing off your property and showing excellent hospitality to visitors is paramount. Because of this, many Drawkians are eager to help foreigners and tourists, because it's an easy way to show Drawkland's greatness to the rest of the multiverse.

Drawkian cuisine is quite heavy, with meat, grains, and dairy being staples in almost every meal. Drawkland's Cheese Export industry is one of the best in the entire multiverse, and it shows in the cuisine. Fruits and vegetables are also common as side items, but the bread and butter (pun intended) of Drawkian meals is starch, dairy, and protein. In the southern territories where the IAC games will be held, this holds true. On the coasts you are likely to see more seafood, and in Ellzidan's territory most meat is very gamey due to the vast wilderness where lots of meat is sourced.

Drawkland features right-hand driving and the currency is the Lolad (worth approximately 2 NSD). Due to the large amount of multiversal travel now occurring in Drawkland, major cities will support foreign cards and some currencies as well.

Football in Drawkland: Football, or soccer to some, was invented in Drawkland under the name of kickerball. There are conflicting reports on when or where the sport was originally played. The town of Gelia takes credit for the founding, even naming their stadium the "Home of Kickerball." However, some sources indicate that a similar game was played in Ellzidan's territory hundreds of years prior. Whatever the case, the game from Gelia sparked a nationwide interest that eventually developed into Drawkian League Kickerball, the top-tier professional league Drawkland knows today.

While soccer was never the most popular sport in the country (outside of some small pockets of superfans throughout the nation), the success of Drawkland's national team, the Kick Corps, led to an increase in interest across the board. With several tournaments being held on Drawkland's shores (like this one) and a good product to watch, some think that football has surpassed basketball or baseball in popularity (though it's unlikely it'll ever take the throne from gridiron football). Regardless of the average citizen's care for the sport, there are still millions of dedicated fans supporting their pro team or university, and any crowd is always loud and engaged.

Stadiums:

GROUP A: ELSTRUND/SHIRE-PORT, JUNGLE
Treasure Trove Stadium, Shire-Port (Capacity: 106,150): Shire-Port is the largest city in Ellzidan's territory, being the most influential port on the southeastern coast and featuring the most developed urban sprawl in that region. Shire-Port's teams in most sports are decidedly mediocre, but the rich local economy and status as the only large market in the southeast allows for well-developed sports infrastructure. Treasure Trove Stadium is an example of this, a stadium that hosts both gridiron and association football teams, the latter being the Shire-Port Pirates of the DLK. The Trove, as it is sometimes called by locals, features a themed village around the stadium block that looks like a classic colonial port from the age of piracy in Drawkland. It features bars, restaurants, hotels, and other accommodations for fans that create a great experience overall.

To host: Group Stages (First-listed game) + Quarterfinal

The Root Field, Elstrund (Capacity: 133,300): On the other side of the coin we have The Root Field, a unique stadium experience that can't be found anywhere else. Elstrund is a massive tree/settlement deep in the mountains of Ellzidan, a sentient lifeform that's as tall as the mountains surrounding the valley it sits in. Elstrund can grow and shape its branches and roots at will, and sprout large "satellite trees" in the nearby forests. One such tree on the outskirts of the valley has huge exposed roots which wrap around immaculately-fashioned grass to form a soccer pitch. The roots themselves were hollowed out and tiered to create a horseshoe-shaped stadium, with a modern scoreboard and grandstand erected in the open end sometime later. The Elstrund Roots, a historic DLK franchise headed by Ellzidan herself, play their games in this woody venue.

To host: Group Stages (Second-listed game) + Semifinal

GROUP B: MASTESER/MISSOMEN, BAYSIDE
Panar Bank Park, Masteser (Capacity: 99,000): Panar Bank Park is home to the Masteser Assassins, a decent team in one of Drawkland's larger but not as sports-obsessed southern cities. However, Panar Bank Park (or PBP for short) is a very nice venue. It was built on the outskirts of downtown, inland from the coastline, but at a perfect position for fans to reach it by public transport (especially monorail, a staple of Malicoll urban centers). The canopied stadium is a nice place to catch a game for anyone, and has previously hosted games in World Cup 79.

To host: Group Stages(First-listed game) + Quarterfinal

The Budgie Nest Stadium, Missomen (Capacity: 88,450): The Missomen Keets are a pretty down-on-their-luck franchise lately, but the colorful squad named from the native parakeet population has a great stadium to boast at least. The Nest was built from concrete and steel, but the exterior was designed to look like twigs and branches to look like an actual bird's nest. The inside is pretty similar to a standard Drawkian stadium, and Missomen's local government has gone to great lengths to ensure the neighborhood around the stadium developed into a good place for visitors to stay awhile.

To host: Group Stages(Second-listed game) + Round of 16

GROUP C: GELIA/LASINBREE, NORTH
"Home of Kickerball" Gelia Field, Gelia (Capacity: 111,000): Gelia Field dates back to the very beginning of the sport. The site in now-downtown Gelia was allegedly where the first organized game of kickerball was played, and centuries later, the Gelia Nets still play there. Of course, the field has gone through dozens of renovations, and the stands surrounding it have been built, knocked down, rebuilt, refurbished, repainted, rebranded, set on fire, knocked down a couple more times, reengineered, reimagined, and remodeled countless times. The current field, dubbed the "Home of Kickerball," is a large but simple bowl with a rounded rectangular footprint. It's one of Drawkland's oldest continuously-used sporting sites, and has been dubbed a historic landmark.

To host: Group Stages(First-listed game) + Round of 16

Cartier Pitch, Lasinbree (Capacity: 66,000): Lasinbree and their Foxes have not been having a good time lately. Even their stadium is one of the smallest in the DLK, but their status being relatively close to Gelia backdoored their way into hosting actual international tournament games. Cartier Pitch is a pretty standard stadium, though it's small by Drawkian measurements. Its facade isn't particularly impressive, and the stadium itself is just a lower bowl with an upper deck on each long side of the pitch. The upper decks almost wrap around to connect into one, but there's large scoreboards on both short ends of the stadium. It's a fine venue, but nothing too special.

To host: Group Stages(Second-listed game) + Round of 20

GROUP D: YOKARE LAKE/BOLABORE, MOUNTAIN
The Anvodome (Capacity: 69,100): Yokare Lake is the largest city along Lake Malzi, a large body of water that partially forms the boundary between Ellzidan and Malicoll's territories. The city has fallen on hard times lately, and both their pro franchises and in-town collegiate teams have had a tough time. Still, with their combined efforts, they created the Anvodome. Named for the district the city is located, the dome hosts both gridiron and soccer with a turf field, at both college and professional levels. The local university teams play there as well, including some basketball games with temporary stands and floor surface added. The Anvodome is a pretty basic dome stadium, and despite the somewhat crumbly nature of Yokare's outskirts, the area around the stadium is decent enough for hosting.

To host: Group Stages(First-listed game) + Round of 16

Smiths' Pitch, Bolabore (Capacity: 84,400): The Bolabore Anvils are notorious for having a horrible record at home. The DLK squad has long suffered being in the same division as the dominant Elstrund Roots, and it's not helped by an uncharacteristic lack of home field advantage. We've never hosted games here before, so we're curious to see whether it's just because the stadium itself is bad or if it's just the local fans in Bolabore that aren't fervent enough to will their home squad to victory. The stadium itself is reasonably nice, with a neat weathered exterior and well-kept playing surface.

To host: Group Stages(Second-listed game) + Round of 20

EXTRA KNOCKOUT STADIUMS:
Seven Stars Stadium, Centivar County (Capacity: 250,000): Built to host the World Cup 79 championship, Seven Stars Stadium is the ultimate venue. It's located in Centivar County, a sparsely-populated area halfway between Drawk City and Metropolon (the nation's two biggest cities). An indoor venue with a retractable roof, it's got an iconic facade with four huge columns on the exterior and three on the interior. Built primarily to hold championship games, both domestic and international, it's already got an impressive resume under its belt. It hosted the IAC-7 championship and will reprise the role this cycle.

To host: Championship

Archifel Capital Stadium, Archifel Capital (Capacity: 61,200): Archifel is the name of a large archipelago off of Drawkland's southwestern tip. Most of the islands are beach-based tourist traps or other sort of vacation spots. The biggest island features Archifel Capital, the only real urban center on the isles. Archifel does not have a football team (of either kind), but they do have a decent stadium for hosting those sports. The most common event for ACS is a major bowl game for Drawkland's college gridiron football season, as well as several friendlies among DLK teams. It hasn't gotten a lot of international action, despite being perfect for those sorts of games. The last time they hosted anything was Baptism of Fire 65.

To host: Round of 16

Postby Juvencus » Sat Jul 23, 2022 3:19 pm

JUVENCUS INFO:

Juvencus is a nation of contradiction, a millennia-long history and a huge variety of subgroups that all belong under the same banner. It is located on the northernmost point of the continent Suntae in a planet called Sonnel. It has a football-crazed population of 150 million people, most of which eat, breathe and live football. There is a Juven saying that goes "There's god and then there's football." which is what should be kept in mind as you visit Juvencus.

History: Juvencus' history is a history marked by war, the spread of its diverse yet interconnected string of cultures and to a lesser extent its ability to colonise several areas of the world while also remaining isolated from most global politics until recently.

While its first steps of history can be traced back to the prehistoric era, Juvencus' ethnogenesis takes place in 500 BC with the creation of the Pomen Empire. An era known as the era of Advancement commenced by Emperor Julianus I immediately followed and the Empire found itself controlling the entire western side of modern-day Juvencus, slowly settling it and intermixing with the local tribes. By 200 BC, the Pomen Empire found itself having 3 excellent Emperor-Generals in Claudius II Magnus, Octavian I and Demetrius IV and an era called the Century of Conquest followed. The Pomen Empire not only managed to conquer lands known as modern-day Juvencus and Oscioru but managed to spread way beyond while carrying their language, traditions and its religion of Juvacism to the farthest reaches of what was the known world at the time. For the next 5 centuries a period of relative peace followed until 400 AD, where the empire had been weakened by its upper class living way too lavishly and corruption had filthed up the masses. A new religion called Christianity started to spread in the empire and it led to its dissolution in multiple states.

Throught the middle ages the area known as Juvencus was split between ultra-religious feudalist states that fought with each other over power and influence, especially power and influence in religious matters. A series of wars followed in the Papi Orientali period between Western Juven factions and Eastern Juven factions over whether the papal seat of power were to be in the east or west, the west won and the seat of power is in a city-state called OCEPS(Order Cardinalis Et Papa Sonneliae). Two powerful states also emerged from this, namely the Duchy of Pomena and the Principality of Scudelli, two states that would remain undissolved until the end.

The Rennaisance Period followed on which the arts, sciences and literature progressed and while proxy wars kept creeping on between the two afforementioned great powers, it was a great period. While trade with other Revoda Sea states was flourishing. Search of different spots for trade followed with Montagnaverde and Al Qurija soon being discovered and colonised by Pomenienze and Scudelliano settlers in the 17th century. 100 years later the first portals to other parts of the multiverse were discovered, however they were not completely understood until the early 20th century.

The 19th century can only be described as a century where the nationalism took a heavy rise and people realised that they were part of one unified group, the Juven. A series of wars and genocides followed, all culminating in the Two Great Unification wars, with the first one being a failure but the second one was successful. It all ended with the unification of Juvencus into the state that it is known today under the guidance of an emperor blessed by God, Pomenienze Duke Gianluca IV, coming from a line considered a direct successor of the last Pomen Emperor, Stephanus III the Cursed.

The early 20th century was plagued by wars while the new nation was trying to establish itself in the world stage in one way or another as well as a de facto decolonisation from other Sonnelian establishments that they had created. With that in mind, a strong mafia established itself in the major cities of the nation, dictating life in it until the 1950's when the monarchy itself decided to kick them out of the nation. They successfully managed to kick the mafia into Montagnaverde by the 1960s. From then on, the Monarchy itself indulged in corruption until the death of Paolo IV, Terzi. He was succeeded by none other than Nicola II, Terzi who contributed to the Holy Empire's entry into advancement, new age exploration, colonisation in different sides of the multiverse and modernisation, a phase it is still in today.

Geography & Climate: Juvencus is located on the northernmost tip of Suntae in Sonnel, right across Drawkland, from which its seperated by the Revoda Sea, the namesake of the competition. To the southwest it borders Dubbo-Krish, Oscioru to the south and Pripet Socialist Republic and Pravilo Za More to the southeast. It is important to pinpoint the country's proximity to the equator.

The west is known as one of the traditional breadbaskets of the nation, with a mediterranean climate mostly owing to a really cold breeze from the Revoda Sea and its lower temperature than what would be the average in its latitude at the Juven side of the coastline. It is a flat, very fertile region with a type of soil known as "Juven soil" on which plants grown on it grow at 4 times the rate they would if they were to be put onto any other soil and always on a quality far ahead of the rest. It is known as the heartland of the nation as many major cities, namely Pomena, Serone, Tipoli and Vilan are all located in there.

The center-east is known as one of the two sane sides of Juvencus at this latitude. It is characterised by the dense tropical forest of Santo Giovanni Maria with rich wildlife and a large flat region region -namely the Port-Pegassu basin and delta- that are extremely fertile. That region has two seasons, hot & humid or extremely hot & dry. Revoda Sea provides no temperature mitigation on this side of the country. Scudelli is the only major city in the area, but it is one of the most important ones in the nation as a whole.

The center and far east of the country are known as a tropical desert area with an extremely hot & inhospitable climate as the Revoda Sea currents suddenly become warm again and the wet wind gets trapped on the west and center-east. The area's signature enviroment is that of the dry desert known as the Crescent Desert, whose barrier is the Crescent Mountain range in the west and south. Major cities in the area are Torona, Cuori, Córdoba and Vinceti.

The south and southwest, known as the Sud, are the other sane region of the nation. It is known as a region mixed with flat savannahs and lush rainforests scattered all over. The savannah is known as either La Savanne or the Conquista plain while most of the forests remain unnamed due to their small size. This is the frontier of Juvencus as beyond this region are the neighboring nations of Oscioru, Dubbo-Krish, Pravilo Za More and Pripet Socialist Republic. Major cities in this region are Pacgliari, Aguajú, Demene and Tiscan.

People & culture: Despite the title of Holy Empire, Juvencus is a secular state and that is reflected on its population. Juvencus has population of around 150 million people, 60% of which belong to the country's national religion of Juven Catholicism. There is also a significant chunk of Atheists, Agnostics and other Irreligious people, touching at 30% while the rest belong to the Juven Orthodox Church, Sonicrism, Islam and other religious sects.

Juvencus is split into two major regions culturally, the Pomenienze-influenced west and the Scudelliano-influenced east. The west is afforementioned West, South and Southwestern geographical/climate regions with several patches from the Center. A department known as Occidentalis. While the eastern department are patches from the Center, the Center East as well as the east, known as Orientis.

This has prevalent effects on society as a whole and while Christians, mostly gathered in the west, are a bit more conservative and nationalistic in nature. The irreligious people, mostly gathered in the east, are known to be enjoy lavish lifestyles with a lot of partying and drinking, not as caring of their national identity unless it is of course for the country's representation internationally through sports or through other means, such as politically.

Their mutual point is their hospitality and kindness, which are uniform all over the nation. In the west, people will serve you tabletop sweets like "atyrú", which are small unleavened fried dough balls dunked in either honey or syrup(similar to RL lokma) or "azucarcana" which are soft candy canes if you visit their homes for an extended period of time. In the east, people are inclined to offer strangers sweet coffee, a glass of red wine of the Campana Variety(very sweet, high alcoholic content, served in small glasses) or an alcoholic beverage known as Verteze which resembles aperitifs like ouzo or raki. Juven people are also known as very temperamental, passionate and prone to several mood swings, however they are not violent. So do not hesitate to talk to any of them as they will help you around with everything you need help with.

Juven cuisine is very diverse and it really depends on which region of Juvencus you decide to go to. However, it could be characterised as a type of Mediterranean cuisine with a focus on fruit, vegetables and less so on meat despite the prevalence of lifestock. More meat such as beef is consumed in the west than the east, while the east is more reliant on fruit such as bananas.

Another important thing to know is that in Juvencus people drive on the right side of the road and jaywalking is especially frowned upon. They are however, somewhat reckless drivers but thankfully the good-quality and usually tight roads prevent unnecessary accidents from taking place.

Lastly, it is important to know that the Juven national currency is the Juven Peso, worth 1.78 Universal Standard Dollars. Exchange offices exist in international airports, ports, near bus stops that serve international transits and close to football stadiums, however debit and credit card usage are both widespread.

Football in Juvencus: A version of football in Juvencus was firstly introduced by explorers Adamo Carabinieri and Maximillian Lacoste to people in Scudelli after they went on an "illegal" expedition to a distant multiverse where they found a different group of humans, which we call as the mythical Osstruti who played a sport played with the feet and the purpose was to score goals. The modern version, however, was introduced by Quebecois soldiers in the 1880's, as the Great War of Unification was approaching its last days. It was initially only played between Quebecois and Juven soldiers in the battlefields but soon enough spread in every single corner of the nation with many people of the working class taking part in street games that would last for hours. As such, a war-like passion for the game was born.

It did not take long for rich people to notice and take advantadge of the situation and as such several professional teams were established, with different regional tournaments taking place all culminating in a national cup tournament between the winners. It was how the game would be run in the country until 2016 with the creation of an official Squadra to participate in international tournaments as well as the creation of the Campionato di Juvencus.

Football culture is fierce in Juvencus with many teams possessing large groups of passionate fans or even ultras that would do anything for their clubs. Many of the teams were created with a political or social undertone and as such, football is seen as a way to fight a war without the death or destruction of many.

Stadiums:

GROUP E: POMENA/SERONE, REVODA WEST
Stadio Gianluca IV, Pomena(Capacity: 85,000): Stadio Gianluca IV is the newest major stadium to be built in the nation funded directly by the Holy Emperor himself. It is a state-of-the-art facility with all the newest multiversal stadium technologies in use, such as airconditioning and artificial grass that feels like its real equivalent among others. Its atmosphere might feel a little bit more artificial in comparison to some of the other stadiums in the country, however it remains a daunting stadium to visit and watch a game on.

To host: Group Stages(First-listed game) + Semi-Final

Il Porto, Serone(Capacity: 40,000): Il Porto, located right at the heart of Serone's harbour gives the sensation that the spectator might be on a boat. With the waves crashing every so often right outside the stadium's gates or when a ship honks its horns as it is passing by. It is, both literally and in essence, the closest to the Revoda Sea any stadium will be located in the competition. It is the home of AC Serone, nicknamed "i Revodesi" meaning the inhabitants of Revoda.

To host: Group Stages(Second-listed game) + Round of 16

GROUP F:SCUDELLI/PORT-PEGASSÚ, REVODA EAST
Il Scudelliano, Scudelli(Capacity: 42,000): U.S Scudelli's ground, Il Scudelliano is the city's marvel. It is a square structure where the seats are literally next to the pitch, allowing for pitch invasions to happen at any time. Thankfully security personnel keep a tight look and as such they do not happen often. On the other hand, it also positively enhances the performances of the players by receiving positive chants from the fans this close to them.

To host: Group Stages(First-listed game) + Round of 16

Stadio del Porto, Port-Pegasu(Capacity:29,000): Stadio del Porto is a messy stadium not because it is dirty, but because it has a horrific design making it look like a deformed oval. It is, however, dressed in all purple and has a big brick tower, one of the only two stadiums in the country to have it. It is the stadium of FC Piluzzi, owned by Demichelli's Pizzeria, an ultra-capitalist organisation, so expect many ads to pop on a lot of the newly installed screens.

To host: Group Stages(Second-listed game) + Round of 20

GROUP G: CUORI/VINCETI, DESERT
Stadio di San Valentino, Cuori(Capacity: 40,000): Cuori is a bustling oasis and metropolis in the middle of the desert, which is reflected in the Stadio di San Valentino. Stadio di San Valentino is designed to look like a gigantic desert fortress from the outside, while from the inside it has the most modern air conditioning so to keep both fans and players alike in check among the high temeperatures of the desert. It is AC Picilia's home ground.

To host: Group Stages(First-listed game) + Round of 16

Vinceti Catedral, Vinceti(Capacity: 53,000): The Vinceti Catedral was to initially not bid to host games for the competition, as it had performed its duties as the national team's home ground. It also has a state-of-the-art cooling system, as well as very specialised VIP rooms and shops of all kinds, like a small city. Most importantly, however, it is a stradium with an electric atmosphere, where fans are expected to play the loudest chants, musical instruments and keep the stadium as colorful as it gets.

To host: Group Stages(Second-listed game) + Quarter-Finals

GROUP H: AGUAJÚ/TISCAN, TROPICS
Stadio Electrico, Aguajú(Capacity: 34,000): No stadium in the country is quite this field. Stadio Electrico was exclusively funded by the fanbase of AS Aguajú. A stadium with a sky blue glass ceiling and generally exterior, with all sorts of lightning bolts adorning the general seat design of the inside. Stadio Electrico has an electric atmosphere, indicative of the impulsive, striking nature of the locals of the region. It has also hosted a Juven Super Cup final.

To host: Group Stages(First-listed game) + Round of 16

Catedral de Sud, Tiscan(Capacity: 18,000): Catedral de Sud was built to look like a church from the outside, in particular the Cathedral of the Assumption, the largest church in the city of Tiscan. As such, the capacity has to remain small so as to accomodate the design. However it provides a very special stadium feeling with flare shops and safe flare throwing grounds present in multiple sides of the stadium.

To host: Group Stages(Second-listed game) + Round of 20

EXTRA KNOCKOUT STADIUMS:
Il Nuovo Stadio Olimpico Della Pomena, Pomena(Capacity: 137,000): The largest stadium in the nation, Il Nuovo Stadio Olimpico Della Pomena is a gigantic, immensive presence in the city of Pomena. Its sheer size alone makes every chant feel intimidating, like a call to arms. It is indicative of the nation's deep history and it is the home ground of the Gli Attaccanti as well as AC Pomena's former ground. It routinely hosts the Copa Juve final.

To host: 3PPO

Il Metropolitano, Tipoli(Capacity: 40,000): SSC Tipoli's home ground, Il Metropolitano is yet another stadium indicative of maritime pride and the country's connection to the Revoda Sea. A mixture between mixing in the urban jungle whilst simultaneously having beautiful grass designs, usually shaped like unicorns or dolphins is what describes this stadium best.

To host: Quarter-Finals

The Valentian International Football Association – Other ventures may not be too bad, after all.

Ahh, the Valentian Kittens. Big in size, has a big heart, and also loves their pet cats and dogs and every other animals. There is a lot of love going around with these folks, even when they are trying their hardest on the fields of the international football. Established back in 2093, the Valentian Kittens have gone through World Cup 90, 91, along with Cup of Harmony 82 and 83 respectively. Their recent play in World Cup 91 and Cup of Harmony 83 has been a mix of exciting and disappointing – on the scene of World Cup 91, they were able to play relatively well, even going as far as playing against Tumbra’s National Football Team called The Black Eagles. All-in-all, a great honour to be had, coupled by the finish where the Kittens made it beyond the qualifications for the first time in their history. Then came the problem in Cup of Harmony 83 where they were unable to break the mould, making it to the second round, but not as fantastic as Cup of Harmony 82. And now the Valentian Kittens are back, but this time for a completely different field and event, one known as The Independents Cup 16, also known as IAC-16, in due thanks to the multiversal and isolated nature of Valentine Z whereby it has two planets for itself and is not part of any other worlds or regions, save for some pieces of land scattered across the other universes. In short, Valentine Z itself is not part of the restrictions and conditions that are imposed for this particular event, and while waiting for the next World Cup to take place, the Kittens could definitely use more practice against the other teams, whoever they may be. For this duration of the event, since she is more than free to help out with and giving Markus a break (that is not an euphemism; Markus is not fired, and he will be back soon!), Clarissa Alanis Star Samantha will be the captain!

Sevendian roster for IAC16

What is a Sevendia?
Good question. Sevendia is a small, seven shaped country in Sonnel. At about 777,777 inhabitants, it isn’t a big or relevant nation. Sevendia rarely joins international sports, possibly because international sports don’t involve enough sevens to their liking. Everything is 7 in Sevendia. This is not an over exaggeration.

This is a meme puppet. Do whatever floats your boat. Kill ‘em, ‘slice em, dice ‘em, make them a farmer in remote Ko-oren, I don’t care. Go have some fun.
Edit: Forgot to mention it, please also crank the style mod up as hard as it'll go

Roster:

Coaching staff:
Seven-Seven Seventy-Seven (49)
The coach with the admittedly non-ideal name is responsible for all of the team. There are no other coaches. Due to the complexity of his name, he is mostly referenced as “91”. He is also the father of Sejal-Seven, the team’s shortstop. He previously got the team to 14 wins in WBC50, 13 wins in WBC52, 9 more in WBC53, and got the football team to 3rd place at the 7NC2, and the Sevens team to the final of the Bowl of the 6th Rugby Sevens World Cup, and probably more stuff I've forgotten. Yes, he coaches those teams as well.

Starting formation:
Image
GK #7 Sebastian-Seven Proven
He is a reasonably decent goalkeeper. Like, not really good, but okay, I guess. Has a weird habit to stand 7 meters away from the goal when the team has the ball.

CB #7 Severin-Seven Sjeven
He is the best defender in the formation, which probably isn’t a surprise there, but oh well. Gets overwhelmed sometimes, not actually really good.

DM #7 Seattle-Seven Badven
Badven is literally the worst player in the team. Like, by far. He is so bad. Probably wont even hit the ball if he tried, he couldn’t hit the ocean if he fell of a boat.

CM #7 Seth-Seven Joudlven
He is definitely better than Bedven, but also really bad. Counters are a big weakness for Sevendia. Certainly, the formation has nothing to do with that.

RM #7 Serge-Seven Fomeven
Serge is actually somewhat okay at football. Not good, of course, but he occasionally actually gets a good pass in or something.

RW #7 Selleck-Seven Loveveven
This guy does not, meanwhile. Another one of the guys where no one knows how they even made the roster. Just no.

SS #7 Sergey-Seven Vanven
He’s sorta okay. Like, he isn’t good or anything, but in the context of the team, he gets the job done.

SS #7 Seton-Seven Heaven
Heaven may be the second best player in the team, as he actually might score some goals or get a pass in. One of the worst team players tho, almost never passes.

SS #7 Sean-Seven Raven
This guy’s the best player of the squad. He can actually play some football, and will probably shoulder most of the scoring. How he learned how to play, we’ve got no idea.

SS #7 Selby-Seven Braven
Braven is okay I guess. Like all of the players, he can use his height occasionally, but meh.

LW #7 Severus-Seven Magicven
Not a good player either. The way he misses on chances is almost out of this world.

Bench:
GK #7 Sevan-Seven Jeven
UT #7 Septimus-Seven Draven
UT #7 Seryoszha-Seven Even
UT #7 Selwin-Seven Sighven

If you want to have any Sevendian players for your domestic teams (yikes), they are all available at request (but why would you want that).

Things you probably should know

All (adult) people in Sevendia are seven foot. Always.
In every sentence, people currently being in Sevendia are required by law to use all the letters of the word seven (e, n, s, v) in every sentence they say.
The answer is always seven. The question is also always seven.
Everything that could theoretically be seven-shaped is seven-shaped.
Everything that can’t be seven-shaped is also seven-shaped.
All objects are required to have a 7 on them, including everything.
Seven.

Good luck, and I’m sorry.

About the Manager

Shane Newman is a Baker Park born, who took the chance to become the first NT boss for Havynwilde with an understanding that he would have time & resources to build from scratch. He was hounded by negative media coverage, the unrealisitc expectations of supporters & the governing body, and no investment to correct the dearth of talent in the domestic league. He was unceremoniously fired while out of the country on holiday. He'll consider his time there a learning experience. Was the chief defensive architect for the BPNT in the first three WC cycles.Aged 49 and married with three children--a boy and two girls--he will look to the domestic league for talent by focusing on technique, pace, and positional flexibility.

The Playing XI

#1 Steve Leghorn (Goalkeeper)
Steve Leghorn, that name when spoken in Indusse creates a legendary vibe. If anyone asks an Indussean who's your favourite goalkeeper, they would say without wasting a second that it's none other than Steve. Steve is well known due to his performance and his charitable trust. He's a well known figure in the nation who could be a political mastermind. He started his career in Trau de Mongers FC, a local football club in Southbay which soon died after his transfer. His quality performance in the club got him a direct ticket to Southbay Riveria FC B team and soon into the main team. He played for three seasons for Southbay and won the Golden Gloves award in all the seasons. His omnipresent performance got him into the national camp and get him into the best Goalkeeper the nation has ever seen. After this transfer from Southbay to Dhalopura FC, he's been winning all the Golden Gloves in the participated seasons without giving others a chance to snatch them. He's the real saviour of Indusse, saving the nation from the cannon ball like opponent goal shots.

#6 Sampath Singh Aksinwala (Defender)
The Aksinwalas are a well known wrestling clan in Sindvpore. They are those people out there who smash everyone down who stands against them. Sampath Singh Aksinwala could have followed his family customs and traditions and become a wrestling champion smashing all down like a rock. Well, he had started his sporting career as a wrestler back in his 13s but he slowly got interested in soccer and with his fit physique he was a perfect fit for a defender. At his early years, he always got red cards in his matches since he used to throw his opponents away thinking that he is wrestling. The Local Clubs still gave him chance to play and he slowly changed his wrestling in soccer into total defender football. He started to be known all over Sindvpore and he got another call from Sindvpore FC. He still plays for Sindvpore FC and played a major role in their Liga Prima Victory and FFI Cup Victory. He is now the vice captain of Sindvpore FC and is a really important member of the Indussean National Team.

#13 Mathias Paulson (Defender)
Mathias Paulson born to a wealthy Syrian Christian family in Southbay. He wasn't a soccer maniac or something, who would have started playing for clubs before teenage. He started playing at the age of fifteen for several local clubs including his school and college clubs. After this Sport Medicine graduation from Saint Louis Holiness College in Jawaruyah, he got a mail from the Jawaruyah XI FC for being a defence and fitness co trainer. With his outmost hardwork in the game, he soon won a lot of awards and got a call from Rockies International FC for being their defender. He soon left Jawaruyah for Rockies Islands, it was his perfect defending which let the club rise from Division to to Primary Division tournament Liga Prime. The Team reached top three of the primary division tournament after his arrival and he also received a lot of awards for his play. With his arrival in Liga Prime and as a successor to former Rockies Defender Maryland Bruno (Maryland is his nickname because he used to run a cookie brand called Maryland Food), he got into the radar of National team selectors. He later got the call of the selectors to join the national team camp which was the turnover in his career. He soon became a well known defender in the nation and the captain of Rockies International FC.

#4 Aaron McMuller (defender)
Aaron McMuller, born as Aaron Davis Miller is a thirty five year old defender who earned fame during the early transition period. He started playing for Malta FC at the age of Eighteen since his father was the owner of the club. Eventhough it's an unconstitutional admission to the club, he later got to be the key player of the team. His direct ticket to the club without any obstacles made his way to the national camp easy. His defensive analysis gameplay got famed through out Malta and it's neighborhood provinces of Sindvpore and Cheralam. With the fame rising and clubs waiting to get him to their home, the national team selectors caught on him and added him into the national team squad list. Everything was quick for him, the transition from a club player into a professional footballer. The transition from a rich kid into a really rich earning star. The transition from slow paced defense into quick defense and counter strikes... Everything. He is also known as the only defender in Indusse who has scored 100 goals in their domestic history.

#9 Alexis Budtedjson (Mid Fielder)
Alexis Budtedjson, that's the name of the all in all of pass gameplay. Budtedjson has been a major part of the team in every international match played. He has been scoring goals, defending goals and making ways for goals. A complete footballer they say, he's having the chance to be the next captain of Indusse if he doesn't retire. Alexis was born as a neighbor to Baskar Kumar and has been his childhood friend. Both of them started to chase their dreams together and it was Alexis who got into professional football first. Alexis started his professional career with New Hind City FC B team. His perfect play, in the B team got him into Dhalopura FC. His best career club ever, Dhalopura FC got him into fame and later Gav him the ticket to National Team. He scored his first international goal in his debut match and he says that it's his favourite memory. He later got transferred into Sindvpore FC and has been playing for the team. During the colonial era in Indusse, he started working for the national police force (NPF) and he got promoted into the assistant commissioner of Hind City. His wife, Samantha Budtedjson is a well known tennis player of Indusse. She's currently playing in the NSTT for Indusse.

#14 Djetson Hazle (Mid Fielder)
Born as Djetson Hazlett to Dr. Henry Hazlett and Maria Henry in Sindvpore, Djetson change his surname at the age of sixteen to Hazle for joining film industry since there was a prominent star "Philip Hazlett" existing. He couldn't do much in the film industry, which changed his route into football. He played for the national U-18 team due to his absolutely commendable performance for his club Sindvpore FC. His performance also brought him into the national team and got himself as.a key player. He still plays for Sindvpore FC and took part in the Championship of FFI. He is married to Katherine Hazlett, daughter of film star Philip Hazlett. Katherine is also a prominent film star in Indusse. Hazle also took part in futsal and also tried a hand in hockey. But he later realised that he was made for professional soccer.

#12 Rahul B Kumar (Forward)
Rahul B Kumar was born to the legendary soccer star, Baskar H Kumar as his only child in Derasar, Hind. Derasar is an offshore resort island owned by Baskar Kumar and David Beckem. Rahul was born to him when he and his wife was spending their vacation in Derasar. Rahul was send to Valley Bound International School in New Hind City to complete his primary education. At the age of 8, he got himself in the school's junior team and his performance got him to be the captain and at age of 12 as the School team's captain. Just like his father, Rahul took the path to be a striker and sharpshooter. At the age of 15, he got to be part of Hind City FC's B Team and also the Under-16 National Team. His colleague Goblin Grundjee got themselves to the national team. His performance for the under-16s and 19s brought them to the spotlight making way to the national team. They currently play for Neagra FC in the Liga Prime and at the same time they're taking BTech in Sanātana Dharma College, Hind City.

#7 Bechun Butea (Forward)
Once the best substitute to Baskar Kumar, now he faces a lot of competition from his fellow mates out there.Born to the family of footballers, Bechun didn't face any difficulty to choose his career. At the age of seven, his father admitted him to a local coaching center and with the basic skills got him into the Sindvpore Football Federation Training Center. Bechun's father was Takawilaka Butea, who got elected as the President of Sindvpore Football Federation. Bechun played his first professional match for Sindvpore FC and got transferred into Southbay Riveria FC. He later scored a lot of Goals opening his way to the national camp. He played as a captain substitute and vice captain of the national team and captain of Southbay Riveria FC until Baskar Kumar joined. He also played a major role in the Goblin Humanoid Project which created Goblin Grundjee, who's the first non human national player in Indusse. A football goblin was Bechun's idea. He also got the National Sports Academy Mentor post and is currently the cheif mentor of U-18 national team. His brother, Lalguvasara is the coach of Malta FC and his son Jackson Butea is playing for Sindvpore FC under 18 team.

#11 Antonio Mersiás (Forward)
The second youngest recruit in the camp, Antonio Mersiás is a well known youth idol in the nation. He was the captain of Indussean youth team in the Sporting World Cup. He led the team into the semi finals of the tournament till they lost to Starblaydia's young guns. He was born in Karadawadi, a county in Dhalopura to Francis Antony, who was a carpenter and Selina Francis. He lived as a poor kid going to the village school who wasn't so good at academics but bright in sports. His quality sporting skills caught the eyes of the headmaster there, who admitted him to the local football training sessions. The headmaster soon send him to the Jawal-Biesse the nearest city for his studies. He played for the Jawal-Biesse FC for three years and captained the team until he was called to play for the Dhalopura FC. He got selected to the U-18 team as soon as he played his first match for Dhalopura FC. His quality play in the club also got him promoted as the captain of the youth team. His awesome, historical performance for the youth team got him a quick ticket to the National Team Camp. He is currently an important part of the national team who cannot be replaced easily.

#100 Goblin Grundjee (Forward)
Goblin Grundjee who is the first ever non-human sportsperson from Indusse. The Grundjee's are one of the families of the Goblin species that was created by the scientists by DNA Modelling. The scientists created a new race of Goblins through gene editing and combining the DNAs of Humans with certain animals and Algae. The goblin species were divided into three families were Grundjees are one of the major part. The other two families are called Mithys and Auris. The current members of the grundjee family is Colonel Grundjee who is a Colonel in the royal army of Indusse. The gene of colonel Grundjee was created by merging the genes of three colonels of the army with the genes of a eagle and the green algae. The green algae plays a necessary role in getting the green Color of the skin. The other member is Goblin Grundjee who is currently playing for the juniors. His gene was created by merging the genes of David Bekem, a former football and of a wild horse. The green algae is also a necessary part of the composition. The grundjee family has the green composition of skins due to green algae. Whereas, Mithys has a brownish red skin due to the presence of Blue-green Algae with Iron sediments, Auris family has the skin Color of a normal human as there isn't any presence of algae. The skin textures and patterns of the goblins are same as the humans and the color is the only thing that can discriminate it with humans. The scientific community believe that the goblin race will create revolution in the world of science. The creation of Goblin Grundjee was overseen by fellow player Bechun Butea who also played a major role in bringing Grundjee as a experimental player. Well, Grundjee is currently one of the best strikers the nation has seen.

Home Ground

The Aditya Varma Kulashekara International Stadium, is home to the Flocking Blues and is the largest sports stadium in the nation. The Aditya Varma Kulashekara International Stadium can hold 131,561 spectators in normal cases. The most attendance recorded for an event in the stadium was 148,241 spectators. This historical event happened long before the current stadium had been built. The former stadium known as IFA International Stadium had just a capacity of 108,112 and the event was the Sworn-in of Baskar H Kumar as the first president of the Indusse. In other words, the sworn in was also the same as the nation's independence day. The most spectators for a match was recorded as 118,232 spectators for a match between Indusse and Pratapgadh which was once a derby match.
Image

This Stadium was built first by Aditya Varma Kulashekara, the emperor of Indusse at his reign. The stadium was built as part of giving the Indussean Football Association, a home ground. The Stadium at its beginning had a capacity of 62,122 spectators and was later increased to 97,783. The Stadium also in the past hosted the home matches of Royal Hind City FC (Currently, New Hind City FC) and Hind United FC (Currently dissolved). The Hind United FC got dissolved into Royal Hind City FC and the club through enough funding brought some land near the Darbar Halls and built a stadium there which currently serves as their home ground and the nation's secondary home ground. The IFA Stadium was built close to the Hind River and was surrounded by small forests. The place then known to be Kadaathaaaru was chosen for the stadium, the name literally meant to be "Forest River". The stadium continued to host the nation's home matches until the IFA was disbanded after the invasion of the Islamic Conquerors. The Dari Sultanate rulers took over the nation and placed a ban on all sort of native entertainment including music and sports. The stadium was taken under the custody of the Dari Military and was converted into a arena to propagate Dari Propoganda. The Stadium was renamed as Neimat Abdullah Arena and the capacity was increased to 108,112. The Neimat Abdullah Arena also became the public execution grounds of Natives in Indusse. The Dari Supressed Native Freedom Fighters were beheaded, hanged and shot dead at these grounds. After the Independence, the stadium was renamed as IFA Stadium and held the nation's first independence day celebrations. After a few years, it was renamed to Aditya Varma Kulashekara International Stadium and the capacity was increased to 131,561. The Government then also decided to set up a monument for the natives who were killed by the supression. The Divya Azadi Stambh (Divine Freedom Pillar) located in the stadium complex is the so called monument. This Pillar is an important part of the nation's independence day celebrations.

Geektopia IAC 16 Information ǂ Each WC cycle now seniors a Geektopian person by 306.36 years, instead of a ludicrous, uncalculated 300. Minimum and maximum ages for footy players from the country are 1,656 through 4,140. These minimums and maximums lie roughly between 4,232 and 6,440 regarding managers (this meaning that Dingledine in WCQ88 was as old as Australia iirc). Recent Happenings: Despite securing a place higher than that of sixth in the qualifying campaign of World Cup 91, the national team's president Schmedding decided to temporarily transfer his presidency to Trujuillo Villanueva, who is also a Sports Scientist that Hojnacki appointed and set a stipulation of him only having the independence to make one major decision as president of the association before this position would come back to Schmedding. And so, Trujillo Villanueva terminated Hojnacki's position after hearing that they weren't on the shortlist for the following Cup of Harmony, then gave up his position to Schmedding. In Hojnacki's place, there will be a trio of wandering ex-managers asides from one former player in Julio who end their management every two games (the Hater of Bakers Julio will go first). Hojnacki is rehired as a janitor since his showing that he can't do anything right, and so his confusing tactics that he put in place pre-WCQ91 are disposed of. A unanimous vote is made to start Jayleanna Lnepzsloal to not replace Shammami entirely after his horrible showings in the first division of Geektopia, but have him play games against "lesser" nations with the rest of the lonely gang. After all, he performs with more passion internationally than he does in the ranks of MOTOR Mordecai. The association notes after critical backlash from everyone in the country regarding Julio's ineligibility to manage, being still ninety five years younger than the cut-off, that this is only a temporary spell of two games in which he will manage and that if he impresses Schmedding, they will look into hiring him before the fact of WCQ 92, when he will be old enough. ǂ

Manager: Julio (4,137 years), then Mance Libajliwi Ayn (5,702 years), Lowella Kinibistira Eithi (5,723 years), and Wilḻyţ Ribufuzili (4,247 years).

• #1 Aadish Lieesslolg (Goalkeeper, 2005 years) [2T] [NP — Swadley is dropped for the young, better-positioned, Aadish. By being better positioned, this means he's less likely to save theatrically, as Lertora has as well as Higginbottom. This is a useful asset, as for one, Hojnacki can bring him out against nations which have produced as far as goals are concerned, while when playing low-block assortments, he'll (Hojnacki) be likely to start either Higginbottom or the much favored Lertora.] [UNI] {Inert, Questioning, and Focused}
• #2 Muratbek Nurasq Qaq Eul (Forward, 3096 years) [2T] [AIM]
• #3 Autianna 'ardiquswaa (Midfielder, 4086 years) [1T] [AIM] [NP — While you watch Autianna play this role, it's also important to note his performances as a wing-back, despite the declining age. As is the case, he'll want to get Geektopia out of this hole in fine style assuming he does start, where, in that case, it's still fine even while that of himself can be considered as rotation fodder by Hojnacki.] {Farsighted, Sane, and Uninhibited}
• #4 Livengood (Defender, 3537 years) [1T] {Playful, Loquacious, and Unceremonious}
• #5 Dargy (Defender, 4062 years) [2T] {Dedicated, Monstrous, and Charming}
• #6 Germaine Sophie (Midfielder/Forward, 4062 years) [NP — An ex-gridiron player who is mostly known for how mindbogglingly stupid his post-game interviews in the World Bowl competitions of old came off as. His aggressiveness and playing style are a perfect showcase of how Sophie doesn't run it through before he acts. Although there is a difference when seeing someone having a natural talent for the creative and the unpredictable as opposed to making unconventional and idiotic blunders on the pitch, Germaine Sophie possesses both of these characteristics.] [1T] {Aspiring, Overimaginative, and Neurotic}
• #7 Abdill (Midfielder/Forward, 3456 years) [2T] {Considerate, Insincere, and Chummy}
• #8 Matkowski (Midfielder, 3162 years) [NP — Went to a training camp because of self-confidence issues and is now the primary choice for throw-ins. From Matkowski's impressive progress, he unknowingly coerced Dingledine that the more powerful a throw-in was, the more important to know who threw it in the first place. Looking into Matkowski's personal record, it's thirty five yards, at least ten more than the second longest distance by another countryman, Julio.] [1T] {Teacherly, Caring, and Sophisticated}
• #10 Nankervis (Midfielder/Forward, 3312 years) [1tF] {Political, Undisciplined, and Scornful}
• #11 Zalie 'amquk (Attacking Midfielder, 2727 years) [1T] [UNI] {Reactionary, Exciting, and Foolish}
• #12 Emlee 'adqaliruq Tura Eaer (Forward, 3507 years) [3T] [UNI] {Uncomplaining, Rational, and Ascetic}
• #13 Blask (Midfielder, 4008 years) [3T] {Discourteous, Contradictory, and Enervated}
• #14 Shamammi (Midfielder, 4062 years) [3T] [NP — Shammami, it's fair to say, is not as reliable on the team as the Nankervis or Jayleanna, even when finding time to work on his weaknesses, there's still a question as far as age is concerned. You could say for this squad there's all sorts of questions as far as age is concerned. Such is why Hojnacki replaces some of the individuals that Dingledine trusted with his short temper.] {Reactive, Unreligious, and Preoccupied}
• #15 Hugee Adsginsier (Defender/Forward, 3785 years) [1T] {Dependent, Impulsive, and Planful}
• #16 Witrago (Midfielder, 3537 years) [1tF] {Sensual, Seraphic, and Prudent}
• #17 Gulcan 'iirţasdaṟi (Defender, 3534 years) [3T] [KAR] [NP — Gulcan is a notable replacement of Rolke via his similar movements and exaggerations. Him doing as as he would for Rod Guafre would be massive for Geektopia, as even with his getting caught out a few times, can't say he isn't expendable, for how can you contest that sentiment with his five goals and six assists in eighteen match weeks? The administration has been looking for something different, and 'iirţasdaṟi may well be that point of difference.] {Mawkish, Unfathomable, and Many-sided}
• #18 Germain Sophie (Defender, 2112 years) [NP — Germaine Sophie's asexually reproduced son who starts on the pitch more often. It is said that once in a leap year GS18 won't sprain on the field.] [2T] {Accessible, Mechanical, and Anticipative}
• #19 Thorud (Midfielder, 3612 years) [1T] {Irrational, Miserly, and Softheaded}
• #20 Rinnert (Forward, 3612 years) [1T] {Money-minded, Debonair, and Hypnotic}
• #21 Higginbottom (Goalkeeper, 2856 years) [3T] {Flamboyant, Pompous, and Sarcastic}
• #22 Lertora (Goalkeeper, 3456 years) [NP — Once said, "Imagine being a goalkeeper with the jersey number 1 and still not starting.".] [1T] {Self-denying, Upright, and Constant}
• #23 Rebimbas (Midfielder, 3606 years) [1T] {Reflective, Generous, and Romantic}
• #24 Ringwald (Forward/Midfielder, 3681 years) [2T] {Frivolous, Solitary, and Insouciant}
• #25 Vert (Forward, 2737 years) [2T] {Kind, Disruptive, and Assertive}
• #26 Gerking (Midfielder, 3018 years) [2T] {Hedonistic, Thoughtless, and Urbane}
• #27 Swenty (Forward, 2866 years) [2T] {Confidential, Dissolute, and Stern}
• #28 Ogrodowski (Defender, 2943 years) [2T] {Providential, Articulate, and Hesitant}
• #29 Diminno (Midfielder/Defender, 3243 years) [NP — Isn't as mouthy as before, but Diminno's teammates and colleagues miss the whimsical, childish motivational advice he gave to others as if a talking jokebook. An element of happiness was taken from the team when newly appointed manager and workout expert Hojnacki told "Dimi", as his compatriots call him, to "straighten up".] [3T] {Idiosyncratic, Driving, and Popular}
• #30 Ponti (Midfielder, 3168 years) [1tF] {Fatalistic, Barbaric, and Tense}
• #32 Boblett (Goalkeeper, 4047 years) [1tF] {Hidebound, Graceless, and Cold}
• #33 Pitter (Midfielder, 3618 years) [NP — Still up one file from a ball-sweeping defender to a ball-sweeping midfielder.] [2T] {Insensitive, Cautious, and Self-indulgent}
• #34 Jakius Krutiqayir Tarun (Forward, 4123 years) [3T] {Paranoid, Cute, and Trendy}
• #35 Ratter (Defender, 2793 years) [2T] [NP — Down one file from a midfielder to a well positioned defender. The gaffer, as well as adjusting positions spryly, adjusted the hell out of Ratter's attitude when he first opposed the move, only after understanding that his shift of posture was essential to keeping the faith regarding one familiar 3-4-3 formation played throughout the last three years of World Cup Qualifying was Ratter able to be punctual in training sessions. {Athletic, Forthright, and Mistaken}
• #38 Lierin Minilinsirtaytfah Y Nayj (Defender [Full-Back], 2918 years) [2T] [NP — Lierin gets a start for the national team bench after leading O.K. Rod Guafre, and for some time, the division in goal involvements. Though he is not considered by himself or others to be at home yet in the national team, the fitness coach and manager Hojnacki plans to make his intentions known by kicking off his second long-term fitness project: making it so that Lierin maintains healthy blood pressure levels via carefully stabilized strength training and cardio hybrid workouts, lays off the artificial sweeteners, and maximizes fat loss without hindering gains. This is off the back of Project Swadley, where he diagnosticated Swadley into a well-oiled machine over the WC89 cycle, making it so that he is only slightly more athletic than Lertora and Higginbottom and more likely to challenge Lertora for a spot in the eleven.] {Responsive and Original

Geektopia play an Attacking Pass Formation variant for every different fixture there is. It's a tactic that facilitates passing patterns so as to look limited to a 3x3 grid, resulting in an organized "pass and wait your turn for the ball" style of play.

Fixtures 1, 2, 3, and 4. For the last four fixtures, the same will be true but in reverse.

The Starting Players for Space Team
GK: The Keeper of the Milky Way
D: The Defender of Orion's Belt
D: The Defender of Outpost Beta
D: The Defender of Mars
D: The Defender of Alpha Centauri

M: The Protector of Polaris
M: The Guardian of Ursa Minor
M: The Transporter of Pluto
M: The Big Bang of Boötes

F: The Explosion of the Pinwheel Galaxy
F: Saturnia

The Space Team compete usually in the Independant Cup and is happy to return. After the cup terminates we are happy to welcome back our friends for a match of enjoyment IN SPACE! The Academy of Space is home to a fully enclosed, gravity containing event facility known as the "Extraterrestrial Dome of Sport". The dome is constructed of clear plasticized glass allowing a clear view of the stars and planets above. The dome rotates with respect to its surroundings during matches for enhanced viewing, though any nearby stars (Stars within 2 or fewer Astronomical Units) will remain on the backside of the playing field to prevent glaring and temperature control. The Dome of Sport also serves as the official training facility for Team Space Team in preparation for international competition and away games.

ARENA - "Extaterestrial Dome of Sport".
The dome is constructed of clear plasticized glass allowing a cristal clear view of the stars and planets above. The dome will rotate with respect to its surroundings during matches for enhanced viewing, though any nearby stars (Stars within 2 or fewer Astonomical Units) will remain on the backside of the playing field to prevent glaring and temperature control.

The dome currently has 35,000 permanent seats, with a further 43,000 temporary seating available. The dome is expandable up to over 200,000 seats but there are no plans of this type at the time.

It will be an interesting challenge for the players from opposing nations as the Academy is non terrestrial (Of course, a playing field and gravity are provided, but are isolated to the dome of play itself. The upper dome is clear allowing a view of the solar system). While the team representing Space will surely be the underdog during away matches, it is quietly hoped that they will be able to gain more of a home field advantage than other teams might usually have due to this subtle location difference, and end the season with a respectable recon.

Defend the Title and Honor!

HUElavia enters IAC 16 as the defending Champions looking to defend their title.

After many years of trying, many years of heartbreaks, HUElavia at long last won the Independent Association Championship. It was an inevitable moment, culminating after more than 60 years of waiting, defeating Drawkland in a dramatic penalty shootout in front of their home crowd in Curumba, back four years ago. It was a time of celebration and joy, with millions flocking to the streets, celebrating that long awaited and coveted IAC title. Of course, it was not all celebrations, as long-time Quebecois coach Leonardo Conavacio announced his retirement from coaching, bringing many tributes by HUElavians for his hard work and success with the team.

Four years have passed, and HUElavia enters IAC 16 as the defending Champions. Ranked #2 in the ranking, Los Amarillos/Os Amarelos return to what many in HUElavia say is the nation's favorite competition. Many players from that championship team have returned, but some have not been selected, while some are playing what may be their last IAC tournament. Some of these players have included Honda and Lettmann, the latter being voted as the best goalkeeper of the tournament, and the former being one of the best players of the previous tournament. There are some young players that are still showing up and have strong potential to do well in this competition. Navarro-Hamada returns after having his breakout tournament and looks to be an up-and-coming player that could be captain in the future. Aveiro seems to be growing into a talent much like his father and may be seeing much more playing time in the tournament. Teenage starlets Brousseau and Yamada have high potential and are likely to make some noise whenever they have playing time.

For Coach Aveiro, this is his first IAC tournament under his management. While the results since the IAC have been underwhelming, the HUElavian Football Association knows they must show patience and give time for Coach Aveiro to get good results. After all, that patience allowed Coach Conavacio to lead HUElavia to that IAC title. The narrative is simple: Run it back. That is what the team and fans alike are motivated by, having finally overcome that "curse" that lingered over the team for many years. Of course, it is easier said than done, especially with how good some of the teams are out there. This includes the likes of former champions Indusse, co-hosts Drawkland, and Poafmersia, and two major rivals in the likes of Squidroidia and TJUN-ia, now the two biggest teams yet to win this competition. The team knows though that they have to take it a game at a time, and not get too ahead of themselves, as thinking too far ahead can make them crash straight into reality, much like the Round-of-16 exit in IAC 14.

Fans prepare to flock the stadiums in Drawkland and Juvencus, depending on where HUElavia gets drawn to in the Group Stage. It's the first time that the fans visit both nations, and they look to enjoy their time in the countries. Fans back home prepare for massive watch parties, setting up locations for thousands of fans to flock to cheer on the team. Meanwhile, fans all over are starting to pre-order the official sticker album for the tournament, wanting to collect the entire album, especially filling out the entire page of HUElavia. It's once again Football Fever in the country, but fans feel more confident with the team, especially with getting over that hump.

Regardless of what happens, the fans will seek to cheer on the team. The team hopes to give their fans another memorable tournament. The Group Stage draw is soon, and following along closely is the tournament. One can only hope and pray this can be an enjoyable and memorable tournament. Regardless, it's time to give it our all, team and fans alike, to chase that 2nd IAC title.

FORCA HUELAVIA! VAMOS HUELAVIA! GO HUELAVIA!

SETT FOREST

Image
Image

Sett Forest is a tiny but lush island nation, out on it's own in the depths of a sometimes rough sea. A population of roughly 150,000, it has a small pool to select it's best players from. Currently Sett Forest only has 12 clubs competing in it's football league, but that is set to expand with investments being made by the SFFA.

The national team consists of both male and female players, though the females do have their own team as well, yet to make play their first game. The only recent fixture of note has been a hard-fought friendly against Tikariot at The Sett. A 3-1 loss, but a strong display ensured fan's beliefs that this little lost forest could hold its own and make it's natives (and non-natives) proud.

The Sett is the national stadium where home games are played, and has an all-seated capacity of 7,587. There is safe-standing for domestic games at each end of the ground. The stadium is situated in the heart of Tetton, Sett Forest's largest settlement. It is used for domestic cup finals, and sometimes hosts the Tetton Derby between Tetton FC and Tetton & Ashurst.

Beaucester Gazette
Katsouranis, Reid and Grosso Out as 23 Person Squad Announced
Italia and Albion Players Dominate Final Squad

National team manager Giovanni Varisco has announced his final 23 player squad for the Independents Cup. With this came the slightly surprising omission of Sofia Katsouranis, left-winger for last year's Super Cup winners Scolastico. The mercurial left-winger blazed a trail last season, noted for using the space out wide and providing reliable service to her team mates.

Her omission comes as Genesio Chapman of Sablegaard and Hellenic Beaucester's Maria Grosso also didn't find room in Varisco's squad either. The affable 56 year old has instead selected a tranche of players from the big two of Italia Mosfleet and Mosfleet Albion, citing performances in recent friendlies, maintaining cohesion of system and nodding towards the politics of balancing contributions from these fierce rivals.

Across the three friendlies Varisco experimented with a variety of players from across Elmyia's top division, but ultimately the core of players from the big two came to dominate. This seemed to produce an uptick in performances, as after chastening defeats to Tikariot and Oberour Ar Moro, Elmyia were finally able to gain a result, squeezing past Bliuji one goal to nil in front of a packed out Tollington Park crowd in the Anglo quarter of Mosfleet. In the friendlies Varisco has stuck firmly to the systems played by most teams in Elmyia, with a 3-4-3, man-marking and a sweeper.

Having experimented across fixtures, it would appear that the first XI is now set for the first game. Ernest Butler has staked a claim in goal, and the back line looks settled with Ferrier, Freschi and Chizzo providing a lot of experience and savoir-faire. Ferrier and Chizzo will likely be tasked with marking strikers out of the game, whilst Freschi will sweep behind as he has so effectively behind Italia Mosfleet's defence. Scoular and Dickinson make up the numbers either side as full-backs, likely to be tasked with tracking wide players and shutting down the opposition.

Further forward and Vita Speight and Leonida Clifton seem to have nailed down the midfield slots, sitting slightly ahead of the back 5 and providing heavy cover. Ahead of them and the front line reads Froggatt, Bernardini and Harris. With 5 at the back and two ball winners in the middle, it will be down to these three to provide any of the firepower required to see Elmyia through the rounds. Bernardini will most likely drop off to fill the gap in midfield and supply the other two. A similar system has worked well for Italia Mosfleet in recent seasons with Varisco at the helm, and he stated "I am confident we have the tools to succeed, this is a premium group, ottimo."

Varisco's approach has come in for some criticism from veteran Scolastico manager Benni Massi, frequently the iconoclast of Elmyian football he opined that in leaving Katsouranis at home Varisco has made "a fatal error" and accused the coach of lacking "tactics, intelligence and nous".

The phone trills. I shuffle across the room in my smoking jacket and lift it. A pause.

“Is this Senor Massi”

“Speaking, and who are you?”

“It’s Bernard Smith, executive producer of Grandstand”

Another pause

“And what is it that you want from me Bernard”

“Well we’re trying to put together a team of talking heads for the Independents Cup coverage, someone to provide a bit of insight”

“Hmm… would this be match coverage or…”

“Match coverage and a late night discussion show.”

“Say, theoretically, I was to join your coverage. Would I be able to speak as I wish? Would this be a forum in which I could share my views”

“That’s what we’d be paying you for, wouldn’t make great TV otherwise”

Is this guy having me on? Do the cretins, idiots, simpletons at grandstand really want to hear my views? “so you think there’d be an audience for my views, I’m given to believe my views are considered controversial by some”

“Well, we’d be offering a range of views on the games”

This snake, I Knew there was a catch “Who else are you putting on”

“Reynard”

That thug “aaah. And he’s agreed to do this? Because, as I’m sure you’re aware, we don’t have the best of working relationships. In fact, I would say me and that particular man do not have a working relationship.”

“I just got off the phone with him”

“And he say yes?

“Well he took some convincing, but I swung him”

“I suppose that brings me onto the fee? He’s always loved the material”

“Well I think that did help, it’s $200,000”

Bit tight that “Only?”

“Per match”

“SHUT YOUR FACE”

“Are you in then?”

“I’ll see you then”

I hang up. Paul, Paul, Paul Reynard. Hard man of Mosfleet Albion, thuggish midfielder. Snapper of legs, snapper of my leg once. Hater of tactics, fitness regimens and anything resembling progress. This was going to be interesting.

West Barack and East Obama National Football Team

A Brief History of Obaman Football

Football as a sport is prohibited in West Barack and East Obama, along with other team sports such as cricket, rugby and paintball. This is because the prevalence team sports has a strong correlation to organised crime, violence and political dissidents, so all attempts at forming groups are prohibited. However, West Barack and East Obama has established an official national football team to help promote Obaman values on the international stage.

The Coaching Team

Head Coach: Buck Obamafinakis
Assistant Coach: Tuck Obamafinakis
Goalkeeping Coach: Chuck Obamafinakis

The Obamafinakis brothers are legendary throughout Southeast Obama. Known for their law firm 'Obamafinakis, Obamafinakis & Obamafinakis', these triplets are known for their expert litigation skills and have reduced countless death penalty sentences to paltry life imprisonment with hard labour and without parole sentences. Now, they're putting their persuasive skills and tactical knowledge to the real test by becoming the coaching staff of the inaugural West Barack and East Obama national team for the IAC. Rumours that they were forced to take the job so that the government can distract them away from practicing law to better suppress dissidents are false.

The Players

The players of the football team have been selected based on a variety of factors. The team that has been selected is the one that will maximise winning in competitions whilst minimising the possibility of bonds and teamwork being formed.

Goalkeeper: Dwayne Obama, 36

Captain Dwayne Obama is a fighter pilot for the Glorious Obama Air Forces. Known as 'Dwayne, Destroyer of Planes', Obama has taken down more enemy aircraft and blown up more secessionist state hospitals than can be counted. His reflexes and quick thinking helps him to get out of sticky situations, and his incredible muscles from intensive training means he can stop a powerful ball with just his pinky. The perfect goalkeeper candidate.

Left Centre Back: Trent Vobama, 37 (Captain)

Trent Vobama is the venerable captain of the team. His performance in the recent ODI World Trophy led to his call up for the football team, with many applauding his leadership and wondering if this old dog has some tricks up his sleeve. A very respectable figure, Trent's experience as a PE teacher will help him command the team to a victory.

Centre Back: Barack Denovitz, 29

A feared mob enforcer in downtown New Barack City, the Obamafinakis brothers convinced the Obaman courts to let Denovitz out for the competition, and if he succeeds could earn 10 years off his 150 year sentence (with hard labour). The definition of a hard man, he doesn't tackle, he just scares them away.

Right Centre Back: Bark Obamallama, 31

Door-to-door llama salesman Bark Obamallama has really thick skin. You'll need it to if your day was spent dodging llama spit and verbal abuse from disinterested buyers. Described as being devoid of any emotions, Obamallama will have no second thoughts about ending that opponent's career with a devastating (but legal) slide tackle.

Left Wide Midfielder: Jenny Barracki, 27

Being a professional sprinter, Jenny Barracki is the fastest woman alive. In West Barack and East Obama. She can outrun most of her opponents down the wing, delivering crosses to waiting strikers.

Left Central Midfielder: Harvey Chobamya, 28

Harvey Chobamya is not your average gym bro. He spends all of his days and nights on the treadmill at Anytime Obama in New Barack City, as well as doing all of the leg and feet exercises. The strongest lower body in the whole of the nation, he can send balls out of the stadium with just a slight tap. Leg day skips this guy.

Central Midfielder: Wolfgang Obamadeus-Mozart, 24

Better known by his pseudonym "DJ Momo" of the rap duo "Momo and the Obamasaurus", Obamadeus-Mozart has very unpredictable movement patterns to match his crazy beats. He can bamboozle, flabbergast and dumbfound any of his opponents to get the ball from one end of the pitch to the other.

Right Central Midfielder: Charles Obama, 27

Royal Butler to The One and Only Barack Horatio Obama, Charles Obama is also a very skilled footballer. A holding midfielder, there's no room for nonsense when this guy's on the pitch. His commanding presence and knack for providing service to his fellow players will come into handy.

Right Wide Midfielder: Brett Pogama, 29

Brett Pogama has a lot of sports experience, participating in one of the most popular sports in the country (since team sports were banned) in greyhound racing. He plays the role of the rabbit, where he has to run as fast as he can to escape a pack of vicious greyhounds. Most of the time he gets out with only a flesh wound or two, showcasing his excellence for evading opponents to bring a ball into the box.

Left Centre Forward: Lily Chobamya, 19

Sister to Harvey Chobamya, Lily is good at free kicks and penalties. Inbetween her courses at Frederick Obamatown National Health University, she practices her set pieces, which aren't technically illegal as there's only one player playing. She can't do much else, but if you foul someone, say bye bye to your fragile lead.

Right Centre Forward: Fred Olibama, 30

Fred Olibama is one powerful forward. He is a cobbler by day, but in his spare time makes some of the best sports shoes known to man. Being both the striker and the kit guy for the team, his experience in bring in the shoes of a footballer will definitely be a big help to the team.

Boot It!: 5 Subs, 26 Players At Minimum, New TJUN-ia

Postby TJUN-ia » Mon Jul 25, 2022 9:20 am

Image

Name: TJUN-ia
Trigram: TJU
Football Association: FA-TJUN-ia
Nickname: Jaguars (official)/Jags (short form)/Blue and Orange (commonly-used informal)/Draw Masters (satirical)
IAC Ranking: 3rd

After returning to "normalcy" last time, it's time for some new rules to shake things up. The Jaguars of TJUN-ia had a painful shock back to reality at the last cycle, losing in the playoffs after a massive comeback to make them and then losing 5-0 in the CoH Knockouts. Still, we move on and into the 16th IAC in the Revoda Sea region - also known as Drawkland and Juvencus. Our draw puts us in Drawkland for the group stage, meaning that we will get to play in the same nation who knocked us out of the last IAC in TJUN-ia City - which is certainly fitting.

This team may look...different to you and that is because David Seems and Li Xiu Ying are now operating under some new rules. 5 substitutes are now the law and squad sizes can now go up to 26 players strong, which has certainly brought intrigue as to who was going to make the plane. David N'kude, Manu Kepelewako and Carlos Pique all went and have been replaced by Maximilian Robertson, Kim Choi-ya and Malhrani al-Kalhrani respectively...but the real interest is down on the bench. All of the players not in the starting 11, including U21 graduates Kendra Robertson and Regina McDuff, will now be on the plane too as leaving only 6 players behind didn't feel right for the Co-Managers. This allows for everyone to get a potential shot at making their mark on the team and with some interesting teams to face in our group, this IAC will certainly be interesting for us all and for the 32 players who will try to represent us with pride.

Nation: Montaña Verde
Trigram: MVE
Adjective/demonym: Verdean
Team nickname: Condors

Coach: Édgar Arboleda (55)
Assistant coach: Image Iahan Alphand (60)

More poor performances at the World Cup and IAC cost fan favourite Tito Godínez his place, but long memories of Édgar Arboleda taking an unheralded Junior Condors team to the Di Bradini Cup semifinals have led to FMVdF organizing a swift replacement. Édgar Arboleda is no tactical genius, but he has a good rapport with his players and, as befits a former youth team coach, a solid grasp of the fundamentales. Iahan Alphand of Secuaz de la Muerte [Oberour Ar Moro], whose 9 years of management experience have seen him go from the highs of taking Hibernus to the A-Division championship in his very first season, to most recently being fired from B-Division Naucratis, remains in role as assistant manager.

Squad: A squad of 26 players has been named for the tournament. It can generally be assumed the players number 1 – 11 will start, and 12 – 26 be matchday squad reserves, but so long as you’re sensible and unless I’ve RPed otherwise, you can RP my team lineup with some variation.
  • Men and women play together in Montaña Verde. To avoid pronoun confusion, female players are marked in pink. If you prefer all-male teams for realism’s sake, you may choose an all-male lineup and ignore my female players.
  • The league is fairly new as a result of restructuring following independence, but many of the clubs date back decades and have entrenched traditions and rivalries.
  • Fútbol is a tremendously popular sport in the country, rivalling Catholicism for the national religion, but limited overseas exposure means the standard is not especially high.
  • Speaking of not being especially high, Montaña Verde is one of the shortest [human] populations in the world. While there are one or two tall players, in general men and women are very short.
  • Players are not egregiously dirty in terms of violence or deliberate fouling, but enjoy a good tactical dive now and then.
  • The bolded name or “nickname” should be used when referring to players and staff.
  • I am now RPing 5 substitutes per game. If you wish to RP only 3, I will abide by the same.
  • All players are domestic unless otherwise stated. While I normally conduct transfers through the Transfer Window, if you wish to sign one of my players they are usually available, especially if it links to an RP arc. Send a TG/DM to ask.

Goalkeepers:

1. Rudolf Lazzaro “Dolfo” Mojica Parra (26) – Image Gunzlach
12. Moises Luque (21) – Deportivo Zaracas
23. Eduarda Escribano (30) – Sporting Mabar

As tall goalkeepers are few and far between in Montaña Verde the lanky Dolfo’s ascent has been rapid, but sloppy errors have seen him lose his place at times. He is forging an outstanding domestic career in Græntfjall and largely regained the #1 jersey full-time. Moises is a promising young keeper with good footballing skills (he even occasionally takes long range free-kicks.) Escribano is a good shot stopper from close range but she’s very short.

Right backs:

2. Leonilda Balderas Castiglione (30) – Calequén
14. Roberta Márquez Saldana (31) – Francisco Teixidó

Castiglione, who has a party girl reputation off the field, fell out of favor under Andino Águila, but regained her spot under Godínez, who didn’t care if his players drank themselves under the table, so long as they climbed out the next morning and score a few bangers, which Castiglione certainly proved herself capable of. Full backs in Montaña Verde tend to be judged on their attacking credentials first and foremost. Neither Roberta nor Castiglione are outstanding defenders, both being converted midfielders, but play in offensive roles for two of the leading clubs in the country. Roberta is a relentless attacker, driving forward to whip in crosses, while Castiglione, who has a strong left foot as well, can cut in field and spread the ball around. Most people think Castiglione is the better player of the two. Her personality is a stark contrast to the solemn Catholic Roberta, who crosses herself after every goal or assist, but Roberta let herself down with several defensive blunders.

Left backs:

6. Justin Pedroza Sierra (31) – Image Lotus Park
16. Juan Diego Lucián Juderías (26) – Sonreté

Justin is one of the best players in the team. His strong left foot has him at left back, but he’s capable of playing anywhere on the field. A skilful dribbler with all the playground tricks, and standing quite a bit taller than his teammates, he seems to tower over everyone except Osito. What tends to let him down is his attitude. He gets into arguments with the opposition, his teammates, the referees, the fans. He’s the living embodiment of “If you get into an argument with someone, they’re an asshole; if you get into arguments with everyone, you’re the asshole”. He’s battled injury worries over the last couple of tournaments, but has enjoyed a solid career in Brenecia. Juderías is much more of an orthodox left-back, a good defensive prospect with a great work-rate but lacking any of Justin’s pace or flair.

Center backs:

3. Arquímedes Hernández Velásquez (29) – Image Kyethas Rivermen FC
4. Jairo Villegas Balderas (35) – Calequén – Captain
13. Alfredo Tafalla (28) – Acharaque
20. Armando “Mandito” Curbelo Rodríguez (24) – América de Santa Margarita de Yacuija
26. Sebastián Gayoso Cambeiro (23) – Calequén

In terms of footballing ability, the central defender corps is fairly strong relative to the rest of the team, but the main problem is physical. None of them are especially tall. Arquímedes has good distribution skills and can bring the ball out well, while Jairo is a superb timer of tackles and can reliably clear the ball out – if it’s on the ground. If both of them are stacked end on end they’re almost as tall as one average international center forward. Tafalla is a short, stocky, busy engine. Mandito is an exciting young prospect who is quick and agile, but needs to add strength.

Holding midfielders:

5. Marcos “Coco” Fernán (24) – Image Kingsbury United
15. Cristobal Elizondo “Cristo” Díaz (27) – Image Ezriquay United FC
21. Naomí Schutzán (21) – Image Adab United
25. Abigaíl “Abi” Bustamante Adame (24) – Image Sherwood Forest Ladies FC

With Ana-Ximena’s retirement, Coco, star of the DBC bronze medal team, inherits the famous ‘5’ shirt once worn by former coach Enriqueta herself all her own. Cristo Díaz is a hard working presser who’ll run himself box-to-box offloading short passes and putting in the physical touch needed. Schutzán is a fabulous long deep-lying playmaker with wonderful vision and passing ability.

Attacking midfielders:

8. Kristjana Eiríksdóttir (31) – Image Rosbank Town
10. Thomás “Primitivo” Ceballos Cantú (27) – Image Urrheddiao – Vice-captain
11. Aramis Navarro Najera (24) – Image CSKA Quebec
17. Absalom Covarrubias (20) – Universidad de Montaña Verde
18. Valery Nazaret “Valentinha” Garrido García (28) – Image Northandryun Rovers
19. Emma Narváez (30) – Francisco Teixidó

Don’t worry, not getting any puppet strings tangled here: Kristjana is 100% Verdean except for her name, reflecting her background in the tiny minority Græntfjaller population. She plays alongside Aramis in the center, but they have different roles: she’s more of a speedster and uses her flying pace to whip out to the wings, while Aramis will tend to drift into more of a central role, distributing and bringing the ball forward to open up rapid attacks. Aramis is the more physical of the two. Completing the attacking midfied three is Primitivo, but there’s nothing “primitive” about the play of the young midfield general, who has fared better in the Red League than Kristjana did. Bigger than most of his teammates, his strong physicality can be deceptive as he has a silky touch off both feet. And watch out for his wicked curling strikes if there’s a free-kick in the vicinity of goal. Valentinha is a complex wannabe intellectual off the field, but a creative attacking midfielder at her best. Emma isn’t as methodical in her passing as Kristjana but has great speed too. Covarrubias is another wide player with speed and energy, if not always direction on his crosses.

Forwards:

7. Teodosio “Osito” Orellana Cerda (26) – Image St Warren City FC
9. Inhué Fernandino Indiano (27) – Sporting Mabar
22. Clementino Ezequiel “Tino” Velásquez Casares (24) – Image Straton FC
24. Semarias “Monaguillo” Veliz (22) – Olimpia La Limana

The young Osito is a huge target man. It’s still not entirely clear he’s not two regular sized Verdeans wearing a trenchcoat. He’s mainly a goal-scorer, not all that good at assisting and rarely tracking back, but an obvious target for crosses and through balls. Indiano is a small, scrappy fighter. Tino is a more complete forward than either but is primarily a goal-scorer without much interest in assisting others, and is still seen as a bit young and selfish.

TROLLEBORG NATIONAL TEAM

Nickname: Trolls

Total official games in every tournament +166=53–85 with 526 goals for and 356 against.
Team usually playing in green, sometimes in red, blue used very rare.

NATIONAL TEAM

Second generation of Trolleborg international footballers now firmly in charge, and it was not already clear are they are up to the fans expectations. Altough team succeed in getting tickets to the recent World Cup, performance in this campaign was substandard, and everyone wait for the IAC to make some conclusions.

COACH

Morten Troghil is a manager of the team since its creation. Having three international titles to his name and succeed to bring our team at the World Cup thrice, he continue at the helm of the team.

PLAYERS

Departure of several key players, the creators of many of the team's victories, due to the advanced age, very much worries the fans.

GOALKEEPERS

Morten Kerr (26). Younger brother of iconic forward Stuart Kerr, he played as number one in the first ever international tournaments in the Trolleborg history, U18 Cup in S&T, known as very skilful and intelligent player, and make some very spectacular performances in the last WCQ.
Finnsnes Soderhelm (31). Have amassed reputation as reliable, safe and competent goalkeeper. With a lot of experience behing him, he is great in handling things in his domain, always cool-headed even in the most difficult situations, while giving sense of security to his teammates. He step in while Krogh has breakdown, confidently enough played his part, but, unfortunately, did not much more.
Jesper Krogh (26 years). Very fast player who already prove himself on both league and international level, who prove himself good at the second floor, without losing something in his first floor game skills. He now fight for Soderhelm for a second position in the goalkeepers queue.

DEFENDERS

Kasper Wolters (31). He is very strong, and relatively fast for his already advanced age. In the past he substituted right midfielders and use his crossing skill to add something to the attacking might of the team, but right now prefer to concentrate on the defensive duties.
Jesper Loonstrup (26). Right back\winger, he is flank defender in the preferred Trolleborg style – fast moving, adept in supporting attacking moves, willingly throw himself in the way of the ball, aggressive in tackling.
William Schendel (26). Versatile fast moving defender known for his skillful positioning and man-marking, highly effective in breaking opposition attacks, great in the heading, with incredible high crosses-interception rate. But his performance in the last tournaments is not inspiring at all.
Ceel Kolding (26). Player who have his first taste of international sport at U18 tournament eight years old, he right now counted on as substitution for retired Torgeir Dushegub, but latter have a real big boots, filling them is a work of considerable difficulty.
Aien Troger (32). This strongly build defender have a lot of experience and extremely good in tackling, it’s very challenging to move into the box past him and he made life extremely difficult for the many famed forwards on the international scene.
Joran Du Riis (28). Cold-blooded fighter prove that he more than capable holding his own at the highest level. Agile and fast-moving, but solidly builded and used this for his advantage, he play with composure and responsibility.
Joos Haankrands (25). Left defender, agile and fast, he has many things to be the first-rate star on his position in the years to come. But everyone agrees, that he need to put serious efforts to eliminate his shortcomings and assure his temper will not influence performance on the field.
Rekdal Lundstram (28). Comfortably carries his defensive duties, tenacious fighter and excellent ball winner also good passer, which was allowed him joined attacks productively and adding depth on the left flank. But it was not clear, are he good enough to take this position permanently.

MIDFIELDERS

Hendrick Groningen (33). The defensive midfielder, probably the best in his generation, he was not selected to play in BoF and joined team by way, proved himself worthy of a place in the team, caused a lot of problems to the attacking players of the opposing teams. His talent of intercepting ball in the middle and using every possibility to begin attacks was fully appreciated by everyone – apart, probably, of his opponents. With the age advanced on him, he nevertheless remains a tough opponent for even best world players.
Soren Wittingem (26). Strong player who can run incessantly whole 90 minutes, distributes ball well due to his great passing ability and perfect knowledge of game, and also shows considerable tenacity and real class at his duties as defensive midfielder, as it was extremely difficult to go past him.
Jesper Gronholm (28). Recent addition to the team, but already have a spot at the lineup, he was comfortable down the right flank as either defender or midfielder. Competenly hold his own while in defence, he was willingly join any move forward, where he pass ball quickly and thoughtfully, already prove this in the recent games.
Brutil Skrta (26). Very complete player, who posessed ability, stamina, flair, technique and resoluteness in just perfect mix. Shows tremendous accuracy when passing, fine distant shooting skills and ability to lost his markers. He make a real good debute at the IAC-14, and put some great game in the WC and CoH, but right now things looked like if he is not up to the task that coach have for him.
Kenneth Pathmoor (27). This central midfielder can cover a lot of space in the middle and with his pace, agility and an eye for goal he willingly can find net himself or conjure goal opportunity for his forwards.
Morten Troll (29). This excellent player will celebrate his 30th birthday soon. Genius of game, with a wonderful dribbling, beautiful technique, excellent pass and extremely good shot, he won many games for his local team single-handedly, but also a great team player with great repertoire of tricks. He brilliantly justified all the positive reviews even when team performance was rather uninspiring, sometimes won games single-handedly. Recently, however, he looked not very good.
Torstein Halst (25). Right winger\forward, with a good passing, master of highly accurate long crosses and very well making in curved shots from outside the box. Willingness to fight for every ball, spare no effort, and, most importantly, improve his skills is what give this player a chance to play for national team and he make some great performances – but not enough to earn full-time spot in the lineup.
Kasper Windass (26). Broad and strong left midfielder, he looked a little bit sluggish when moving without ball, but everything changes when he have it. Then he moved extremely fast, sweeping away everything in its path due to his mighty build and usually ended move with a clever pass.
Karsten Gould (25). This versatile midfielder can play as a left midfielder or forward if needed. But his passing much better than shooting skills, so he prefer no to make long shots, instead move into the box very fast and try to make dangerous continuations.

FORWARDS

Torben Kranforde (25). Very fast forward, who have special ability to surprise rival defenders. He also posessed a great skill of positioning himself very well, and regularly sent many defenders and goalkeepers into despair with his precise and deadly shots from both feet. He prove himself prolific scorer at all recent tournaments team taking part of.
Kroonquist, Morten (26). Another addition to the team squad, this fast forward known for intensity of his game, and he is capable to maintain workrate in all 90 minutes. With enviable quickeness he moved very fast, turns very well, constantly pressurized rival defenders, with or without balls, and always trying winning back posession. He prove himself as a prolific goal scorer in recent tournament, but there was a doutbs, if he is up to the height that our team needed to won right now.
Torgeir Berglund (24). Effective center forward in front of goals, he prove his goal-scoring talents in the national team, but was clearly not convincingly enough for a Trolleborg demanding fans.
Halden Nordenfjord (25). Everyone expects, that head coach bring into the team someone in the Tom Gulbranden mould – big, strong, tall and awesome. This player conforms to the physical qualities of the retired forward, and he is very enthusiastic footballer, but it will be seen, how much he is adopted to the international football and his new teammates. In the recent WCQ he was completely out of order for such a task, but Troghil nevertheless bring him into the IAC.

TEAM TACTICS AND GAME STYLE

With Morten Troghil at the helm team always practiced attractive attacking game on a fast pace, with a varied passing and good teamwork and already its style well-known and liked by public. Usually played 4-4-2 with defenders pressed forward and flank midfielders join attacks whatever possible, or 3-5-2 with a midfielders move back and forth as things dictated. Integral and inalienable part of the team’s game will be mighty pressing, applied whatever on the field when ball is not on our side.

National psyche tell players to put everything even if odds are heavily against, so almost every match in the league played with high determination, and national team shirt oblige one who wore it for even more efforts – altought it was visible, that players often compeletely lose breath when unexpected setbacks occur. And this is precisely what happened in the recent tournaments.

Unsportsmanlike behavior is highly discouraged even if in the interests of the cause, and national team players are required to meet the highest standards possible, so it is completely impossible to imagine a player of the Trolleborg national team faking injury or begging for a penalty. It is expected that players who have a choice to fall and appeal for penalty and try to continue game choce latter without a doubts. But players are not easily bullied, though, and more than able to stand up for themselves both as individuals and as a team, and have a strong inclination to go tit-for-tat in case of excessive brutality on the opponent’s part. Refereeing in the last tournaments was sometimes substandard, and many players have developed habit to ask referees uncomfortable questions about their controversial decisions right on the spot.

Style –5.

No, there was no confusion, team played attacking football on the field, while having negative style modifier for a scorinating purposes.

My opponent, if they RP first, may do the following:
Choose my goalscorers: Yes
Godmod scoring events: No
RP injuries to my players: Yes, but I reserve right to estimate injury severeness.
Godmod injuries to my players: No
Hand out yellow cards to my players: Yes
Hand out red cards to my players: Yes only for a last ditch fouls or two yellows, any other variants must be discussed with me.
Godmod other events: No, but if you have something interesting in mind, let me know and we try to find a middle ground.
(Altought it will be most probably in vain) We invite everyone in our group to collaborate in role-playing and make a stories together.

MEDIA

Trolleborg TV intends to do its best to provide everyone with a 3D broadcasting of every game, altought you must understood limitations of technology, which was used for less than ten years. Problems with color shades, difficulties with communication channels and so on are rather often happens. We already see changing the colors of the uniforms, the appearance of the stadium, women on the field replaced by the men and much more. But these are the inevitable costs of implementing such a progressive innovation in the so fast pace.

OUR FANS

Fans is a pride of Trolleborg and almost part of the team, having already earning themselves a name and a good reputation at every place where national team playing. Having moderate their temper and seriously reducing their noise level recently, our fans nevertheless remains a something that team can be count on in the difficult moments.

Paul Reynard burst through the doors of the Mosfleet television. Running slightly late, a thin film of sweat and smog clung to his face in the summer heat. He let out an audible sigh of relief as the cooling blast of the aircon washed over his face and turned his back sweat cold. He shoved through to the main desk “Reynard here, Paul, for Grandstand love,” he affably chuntered”

“Good morning Senor, it’s in the lift, 3rd floor reception,” they smiled back.

“Thanks love, god bless.” He turned to go, before awkwardly stopping and turning back “is he here yet? That man?”

“Who would that be sue”

Massi” he spat that smug sod, that whinging arsehat

“Yes, he came through 20 minutes ago”

“Thanks again” Reynard trundled to the lift and jabbed the button, he oversized fingers catching the 2nd and 4th floors as well bugger.

He walked out on the correct floor and found himself whisked off to makeup, they peeled off his shirt and dropped it in the corner. He found himself shoved into a designer suit, one that looked great on, but left little room to breathe. He shuffled awkwardly onto the set, slightly stunned by the glare of the lights it took him a minute to adjust before he could take in who was before him. Behind a large, plywood desk sat veteran broadcaster Steven Grey - top bloke, nice fella - and him, Massi - smug. SMUG, smug GIT. Lazy, contrarian, knowitall sod.

"Good evening and welcome to Grandstand, as ever I am Steven Grey. I have two special guests joining me tonight for a very special occasion. If you've missed it you may well be living under a rock, but Elmyia face their first EVER competitive international fixture. Coverage from that game against Poafmersia coming live in half an hour. First though, we have our two esteemed guests, both have won every major domestic honour as both player and manager. I have with me Paul Reynard, manager of Mosfleet Albion, good afternoon Signor Reynard."

"Good afternoon Steven, pleasure to see you."

"And with me I also have current Scolastico manager, Benni Massi, good afternoon Singor Massi."

"Afternoon Signor Grey, e belloo riverdersi"

"So, with kick off an hour away we have the lineup that that Giovanni Varisco has gone for, no changes from the final friendly against Bliuji, and no changes to the bench either"

Image

"I'll come to you, Signor Reynard, first, surprised about this?"

"Not at all. Not AT all. This is clearly the best lineup for Elmyia, he's got his best players in the side, playing the way they know best. That backline, with Freschi sweeping, is nearly impenetrable, impenetrable. I'd have total confidence in this group too. Going forward, Froggatt, Harris, Bernardini should put fear into other backlines."

"And Signor Massi, are you surprised? Anyone you would've thought you'd see included?"

"Well... I do have to say I was quite surprised, as I have made very clear to everybody, by some of the omissions from the squad. On the day, however, I am not surprised that this group has been selected. In terms of the system, they should be able to execute what Varisco wants of them."

"So would it be how they've set up initially that you're opposed to?"

"Well, as you are aware, I have always been wary of playing a sweeper in behind the back line. Doing so stops the offside trap from working and will stretch our play, against opponents as strong as Poafmersia I would expect this to lead to space for their players to make the key passes."

Reynard let out an audible snort smug git, pseud "Well playing that way. The Elmyian way has worked for the biggest two clubs in the country."

Steven nodded in agreement "surely, Signor Massi, you recognize this system has its benefits?"

"This system, the man marking, the sweeper, yes it has helped Albion and Italia to various titles, but I have my doubts how we will fare against such strong opponents. Opponents who, last time out topped their group, took teams apart, they will find it easy to exploit the space in this system. You can see this is the friendly results against stronger sides, Oberour Ar Moro took us to pieces in the first half, Tikariot never got out of first gear and made it too easy."

Reynard thundered back "once again Benni you are having potshots at the man who is the best, the BEST man manager and with the most honour currently active in Elmyia."

"He may well be the most decorated, but with the vast financial backing he has received, and the talent alone of his players such does not speak to his character alone."

Sod, git, designer suited arsehole "Maybe YOU would have the right to criticize his methods if yours were at all effective"

Massi suppressed a chuckle I've got him now "I will question whichever methods I wish Paul. If I had had such players I assure you the results would be astounding."

Steven waded in, feeling the broadcast slipping from his safe pair of hands "Now, gentlemen, Signores, we are not here to hash over the Primera, we are here to talk about the Independents Cup. Senor Reynard, please, who do you expect to be key for Elmyia in Pomena today?"

"Well Signor, I think against such esteemed opposition we will see a busy day for Freschi, he will be key in keeping things tight, pouncing on the loose balls. We're playing in a familiar climate, key thing, they don't lose their heads and let the occasion get to 'em. These are the finest players, I know them well, I know they can do a job here."

"And Signor Massi, what are your thoughts, what is the key tactical battle to watch for?"

"I'll be interested to see how Clifton and Speight play. They will be man marking, but we will need them to not get drawn too high up and leave the space in front of our defence, because that is where damage could be done."

"Now, as to where we are playing, we are being hosted in Juvencus, a fellow catholic nation, also football mad. We're, sadly, broadcasting from back in Elmyia, but we've sent roving reporter Elena Gatusso to speak with the squad and see how they are settling in."

The lights go down as the broadcast cuts to the pre-recorded fluff. Massi lets out a quiet sigh, whilst Reynard ostentatiously mops his brow and blinks as he adjusts to the lower lighting. Massi takes Reynards face in, blotchy, red, with huge pores on his nose. He had never been the best looking footballer, but he used to have a rugged charm. Currently, however, he looked awful, he'd put on weight unevenly and increasingly looked like a bin bag stuffed with old duvets, hair was disappearing where it was most wanted and appearing in unexpected places. My word he looks old, his personality is manifesting on his face.

Reynard clocked Massi looking at him and noticed his smirk he better wipe that look off his smug, preening face. Metrosexual, puffed up GIT. "You know Benni, even if you snipe Gio out, the FF won't be looking at you for next time"

SQUADRA NAZIONALE DI JUVENCUS

Image

Information about Juvencus:
Capital: Pomena
Population: 130,656,702 ethnic Juven, with a total of 150,048,720 including naturalised immigrants.
Demonym: Juven
Country Code: JUE
Football Association: JFA(Juven Football Association)
Nicknames: Gli attaccanti(The attackers), La squadra(The team)
Football philosophy: At this point, to play football in Juvencus you need to understand that no matter who you are, pushing forward is the MOST essential core value you can bring in your game. Both strikers and defenders alike are equally likely to strike from any range at any time. Defense is not neglected, but is not as valued as being a scary goalscorer up front.

Starting XI:

GK:Taddeo Bulgari(Age 36)(Picgliara Calcio)
Description: Bulgari is just like red wine, he ages really well and that is all that really matters. Legends say that this could be his farewell attempt at reaching the glories of old. Definitely a leading presence on the pitch.

CB:Carlo Callejon(Age 26)(Wirr TsiImage)
Description: Callejon is approaching his peak years, with his strength and positioning and tackling ability all increasing to levels that very few players can reach. On a good day, he will pocket any striker for fun, no matter how talented they are. While hot-headed, he is reaching higher maturity levels, as such he may reserve his fighting spirit for when the moment actually requires it rather than when he is angered.

CB:Pau Puig(Age 23)(AC Serone)
Description: With Bassi's sudden disappearance, Puig is given a starting role. A non-traditional Juven defender, being tall, bulky and relatively slow, although keeping to the perfect positioning scheme of the team, Puig is the brick wall of la squadra and it is almost impossible to get through him, especially in strength and header battles. Pau Puig also possesses the charisma, or it might just be his imposing size and physique, to persuade referees to change their decisions if they seem to be negative enough for the team.

CB:Izotz Ibarra(Age 33)(AC Pomena)
Description: Ibarra knows that his aging is slowly creeping onto him too. While still talented, with a solid positioning and crossing ability, aging catches up to players that want to be fast for their effect to be clear on the pitch. What is most important though is that he will be a solid supplementary captaining figure for the cycles to come.

CDM:Josefina Portieri(Age 23)(TihonImage)
Description: While she may be mostly used as a sub in Chromatika, nobody can doubt her ability to control or change the game's pace with the blink of an eye. Josefina Portieri is a classic example of an accurate Juven passer and strong long distance shooter, traits that give her a commanding presence on the pitch. Replacing yet another original generation retiree Nino Russo, she has big shoes to fill.

CDM:Pierre-Didier Kouyaté(Age 26)(U.S Scudelli)
Description: The half-Banijan mastermind of the team, Kouyaté has always been dubbed as the successor of Russo when it comes to his playstyle. Much like him, he might dictate the speed and pace of la squadra's play, with an excellent vision and brilliant passing ability to show for it, which contributes to the high amount of assists he provides. He can also fulfill the duties of a supplementary defender, as he possesses iron lungs and can move freely all around the pitch.

RM:Júlien Cantù(Age 31)(Dhun Lagarr FCImage)
Description: Cantù has always been the orchistrator of right wing offenses, an accurate passer and pretty decent dribbler, he sticks to the sidelines most of the time. Might give that cheeky unexpected assist from out of nowhere and is also a very keen goalscorer, especially from mid-range since he has a very odd shooting technique that gives any ball that jabulani(stole that from RLStates, ha) effect.

LM:Michelangelo Santini(Age 28)(Dhun Lagarr FCImage)
Description: Santini is extremely fast, still. That is not his only trait however as his speed usually gives him a lot of space to work with and orchistrate attacks from the sides, with a lot of volleys and crosses coming from his part to provide for a lot of goals that the team is meant to score.

LF:Joaquim Martell(Age 37)(Ausharmuj MarusiImage)(Captain)
Description: This man has gotten old, but for some reason his touch is still golden. That left foot can score any kind of goal from any side of the pitch, he can provide assists, he is still the most terrifying Juven presence on the pitch and for some reason he does not seem to be slowing down, despite his age, being fast and agile still. Expect a lot of goal participating from the player who could perhaps be the most legendary in Juven history.

RF:Joao Pereyra(Age 24)(BrinemouthImage)
Description: A technical player, with the ball always stuck on his feet no matter how many people you dump on him. Once given the space, his finishing could be considered one of the most clinical in the team. While he also does not shy away from providing tons of assists for his teammates, since his dribbling ability also gives him a lot of space to work with.

CF:Julio Campana(Age 23)(New Lakeland Soccer ClubImage)
Description: Campana is an exceptionally fast learner and an even better goalscorer. His magic touch always has the ball inside the opposing team's net, with them having to pick it up. A strong right foot, he usually scores rockets when it comes to scoring from long distance and usually prefers to use his weaker left foot for chips and close-range shooting, for extra efficacy.

Main Substitutions:

GK:Juan Carlos Ungaro(Age 23)(U.S Scudelli)
Description: Juan Carlos Ungaro has slowly started to solidify his spot in the squad as one of its main players due to his hard work ethic and solid goalkeeping spectacles in the Campionato. The young goalkeeper is known to be an expert at positioning himself while maintaining strong reflexes that work on his favor.

CB:Sebastian Solano(Age 27)(Odiol Vinceti)
Description: Solano is used to playing in defensive setups due to playing for Vinceti, using his positioning advantadge as well as the extra hidden Odiol Vinceti defensive tricks up his sleeve. Solano is quite big, so most shot-catching is a piece of cake for the keeper who is pretty much at his peak age.

CB:Leandro Domingues(Age 26)(S.S.C Tipoli)
Description: Domingues has a very strong mindset and a very hard work ethic, which combined for his talent to act like a ninja and seemingly "teleport" at any position needed on his side of the pitch to block any opposing attacks gives him an honorable mention.

CDM:Giuseppe Conte(Age 24)(AC Serone)
Description: Giuseppe Conte is not the flashiest player in the team, however he possesses a high effectiveness level in regards to his crossing ability as well as a sickening ball handling technique that makes it hard to get the ball away from him.

CDM:Félix Sissoko(Age 23)(Kingston FCImage)
Description: When in need, call Sissoko. Sissoko can instigate attacks out of thin air with a simple cross, or just a pass. His vision allows him to be always updated on the game. Though not particularly endurant, he makes up for it by being put in his place and playing his game. He is also lucky enough to have a slightly better chemistry with his squadmates than other players, no matter the enviroment.

RM:Chimo Quaranta(Age 25)(AC Serone)
Description: Chimo Quaranta is the definition of speed and intelligence, a mirror of Santini, yet probably slightly more intelligent with the ball on his feet and instead of being a faithful crosser, he prefers to keep the ball low while crossing on occassion, with high levels of success.

RM:Simon Oliveira(Age 23)(AC CuttiImage)
Description: Simon Oliveira is very much a nuisance to play against, a swift dribbler, excellent passer with a high chance of raining long-distance attempts at a goal or assist, the Osci side's prospect has potential only few players could ever have. Lots of rumors see him returning to the Campionato for a chance at glory.

LM:Lucien Cavallo(Age 26)(AC Pomena)
Description: AC Pomena's midfield maestro, Cavallo is a flexible midfielder, often times switching sides in the midfield in an attempt to find the perfect position to orchistrate an organised attack, with some surprise elements and it works a lot of the time. While not directly scoring or assisting much, his input is of utmost importance as he starts a number of frontline offensives which lead to goals.

LM:Tore Christian(Age 30)(Union JuvenImage)
Description: Christian might be a left midfielder, but he always pushes so far up he might be confused for a winger. Another speedy player and a great goalscorer. At his peak right now, Christian is a scary player. Though competition is just around the corner, as always.

LF:Martin Rocher(Age 32)(S.S.C Tipoli)
Description: The team's very real Osci player, Martin Rocher is a criminally good goalscorer and always terrifying in front of the goal, managing to score in every single way imaginable through every single hole that exists, no matter how small. While he does not have the speed, his high efficacy is what really makes him such a nuisance to play against.

LF:Ganymede Garcia(Age 23)(MipojoseonImage)
Description: Garcia is a big game player right off the bat, he will score that one random header or tap-in when you least expect it, however he is a clinical finisher regardless. With traits like that, he is perhaps the team's only remaining poacher up front, despite his winger status.

RF:Patxi Etxeberria(Age 32)(AC Pomena)
Description: Etxerberria has decided to give some playing time to the younger generationby stepping down and becoming a substitution, so that there is more fluidity up front. That should not fool you however as he is still a dangerous player to play against and his numbers in the Campionato as well as international club competitions show for it.

RF:Gilberto Soares(Age 24)(U.S Scudelli)
Description: Though normally a deadly striker, Gilberto Soares possesses explosive speed which allows him to be dangerous out of dead air, which is a very critical trait for a winger and a player who could just not be left out of the team. He also possess cat-like leaps that allow him to jump high in the air, giving him an advantadge in headers.

CF:Giordano Limene(Age 27)(Garden CityImage)
Description: Limene is on fire, an unstoppable attacking machine that keeps on scoring and scoring with every given opportunity. Despite a long waiting time for his engines to start, when they do start, they do not stop no matter how many walls will be put on that defensive line. An innate ability for curved shots, it is very hard for any goalkeeper to stand a chance against him.

CF:Santo Silvestri(Age 32)(Port Tacassam FCImage)
Description: Silvestri has been the team's main scorer in the frontlines but a recent fall from grace has costed him his position while he tries to regain his strong finishing ability. As he is getting older, that position is getting more and more jeopardized. However, he is still not yet finished.

Reserves:
GK:Olarre Gabarri(Age 28)(U.S Remeno)
GK:Iago Asputti(Age 24)(Pesebal BalunImage)
CB:Lucia Agnelli(Age 22)(Victoriaville CityImage)
CB:Carlos Coste(Age 22)(Glenmount TownImage)
CDM:Vitale Cino(Age 25)(AC Picilia)
RM:Ekain Zuñiga(Age 32)(AS Aguajú)
LM:Pascuala Machado(Age 29)(U.S Remeno)
LF:Edu Coste(Age 23)(AC Pomena)
RF:Maria Zambrotta(Age 24)(North LaithlandImage)
CF:Benedikto Urruchi(Age 24)(AC Pomena)
CF:Paulo Castelli(Age 30)(AC Pomena)

Staff:
Main Coach:Dudu Madeiros
Junior Coach:Nino Russo
Assistant Coach:Calixto Conti
Assistant Coach:Sebastian Galletti
Team Doctor:Carlo Micheli
Team Physician:Mathis Rotolo

Roster comments: While the squad is really talented on paper, it has been quite lackluster in comparison to its glory days and has been permanently stuck in the middle of the pack. Multiple managerial changes were never what the team really needed and now they have lost their course. While the team would normally aim to play for the world cup or play for the win in the Cup of Harmony should the "upset" had happened, now it finds itself giving itself "one last ride" to glory. Changes are bound, the old generation is about to go and the new generation will replace it. The Juven spirit is still there, but Madeiros, now with Russo's help will need to channel the energy of the team towards what really matters and that is to gather wins and treat it as the norm. The team's goal is to perform not only well but possibly leave with a large rankup or even a trophy in hand.

The Juven national team supports a free Qusmo! Thank you for the kits, uni-q!
