Yea, I mean thats kind of what I was getting at. Some folks have enough discord servers to begin with without having to break out things that could be subchannels into entire servers. Heck I was even recommending sub channels for the different regions in place of "#fromtheforge" before the foxchester folks set the regional server precedent.


But, it seems there may be an inherent distrust in the NS Sports discord among some here - which is fine, and why I offered up that we could just host the motorsports as a subsection of the AO Server - where many of us already are - even for the folks who aren't AO

The AO server is a definite non-starter for me. NSSCRA is not an AO regional series, and if I wanted to be on AO's regional server I would have a puppet in AO.

No it's not. Its an NS Sports wide series. Thats why we discuss it regularly in the NS Sports Discord Server. Which you are on. And discuss the NSSCRA in.

I didn't ask you to join AO. I gave you an option to the problem you presented nothing more If you are just looking to escape the NS Sports server for personal reasons, we could create a Motorsports section in the AO Server instead where a number of the participants are already active. Permissions would allow that those AOers who aren't active in motorsports don't need access to the hypothetical motorsports section, and users like yourself would have no access to anything strictly for AO.

I still don't think its really necessary to have a Specific server for Motorsports beyond the NS Sports server that all the discord-active motorsports participants are in, but its certainly an option and clearly the only way to see if its warranted is to give it a spin. So here

As for Motorsports/NSSCRA Discord, I would not mind, to be honest. I mean sure, it *might* not see a lot of uses but I would love to be in there to just talk about NSSCRA or other forms of Motorsports a lot. I also won't mind the downtime during off-seasons.

A bit of a late clarity thing, though I don't think I need it, but here just for posterity. ♥️

I just want to make it clear that I didn't straight up copy-pasted my Factbook just to ham in and get some bonus points. I was writing about the companies in Val Z yesterday and it just so happens that I added them into the Economy Factbook. The logos and the companies have been way overdue for writing, and NSSCRA is a great motivator with the deadlines involved.

Two birds, one stone! ^^;

As for Everlong, a bit of a curious question (not out of salt towards the results): With every new season, do the drivers all start off with 0 RP bonus? I was just wondering if the difference between Valentijn and Marcus was due to Valentijn's bonus from last season, or just luck. I'm okay with either way, I just need that info to write my RP around it.

The main series goes from 50, 45, 44, 43... until 1 point for the last place, right? Then +1 for Pole Position.

Then may I ask how are the points calculated for Everlong as well? Does it start from 40, 35, 34... or something else entirely? I just want to do some point calculations as season goes on for my drivers. Thanks! ^^

The thing about superspeedway racing in the NSSCRA is that you had to have a drafting partner to get up front. Luckily, Chris had two willing partners up front – Drake Stevenson and Taylor Henderson, both of whom were jockeying up near the front of the field. And all seemed like it was going to go the same way of the exhibition, until, all of a sudden, as Drake Stevenson pulled out front, drivers in the lead pack could see some feathers flying through the air from the left-front fender of the 81 car.

So, was the bird sent there by the Spirits of Tundra Falls on an assignment to punish Drake for something? Perhaps after the exhibition?

Just an additional slant we can make on this.

you're right, a solid chunk of the NSSCRA membership isn't even on the main NS Sports discord, why should you have one for a niche RP series? Nothing we can't do in the NSS server. (If ya'll actually join )

Because, being a 'niche' rp, our chatter gets lost in the other IS chatter quite easily.

EDIT: I did some rough calculations based off of the previous season... As far as I am concerned, it should go like this, exclusive of pole position +1.

An additional driver, therefore, will qualify into the field.
