I purposely left it open so people can decide if they want it to be available in their nation.

It is not available in nations that are in separate universes, subterranean cities, very advanced future-tech nations, or very primitive past-tech.

But it could cover MT or PMT nations outside Esportiva such as Hapilopper, Sword Island, etc. if the owners of those nations want it to be available there. You can decide if it is available in Saint Kanye. I think the Pencurve will probably be the Westlake paint scheme unless someone is selling Pencurve phones with GXT service plans or something like that.

So, I mentioned in my last RP that Drake Stevenson will be entering the Berman Bros. Classic, which I have timed to be run right before the dirt race. If there is enough interest, I will be scorinating it, and if Newmanistan is cool with it, I will post the results in the NSSCRA thread. Let me know if you're interested in having your drivers enter it. This could be another RP angle for y'all, as drivers get used to running on dirt, so let me know if you want to do it. IIRC, I seem to recall a bunch of RL Cup drivers ran at races at Bristol leading up to the dirt race earlier this year, so this has a RL precedent.

Also, leading up to the dirt race, I will provide some informational pieces about what dirt racing is, in case you are unfamiliar with the concepts of racing on dirt.

Unless you want to have a Pencurve/GXT shared promotion, like raffling off a Pencurve phone with a year of free GXT phone service. I feel like that would make sense in Jalton, and you could do something like that, but otherwise it would make more sense to run the GXT paint scheme in Kardashia.

My own domestic race might only begin on the halfway of the season, or something. I have been caught up with work and some other stuff lately.

But most importantly, making icons and logos can be harder than I thought, and I need to finish at least 15-20 Valentian company logos so that I can redesign my cars, and put them into RP. All tentatively before 8th, or 9th latest.

Westlake mostly does hot teas, but they could have an iced version.

In no particular order, I am trying to:

- Finish those 15-20 logos, or adequate enough to show what the Valentians usually have on the economic side (shameless plug).
- Finish a Tourist's Guide to Valentine Z, which I will either link it in my RP with relevant writing, or just copy-paste the darn thing here if it fits within 60,000 character count. And thus my relief that my race is not happening anytime soon.
- Finish those darn cars.

So yeah, there was that for NSSCRA. I also have some things I really need to do for Rally and Olympics, on top of NS Stats stuff, a few other factbooks, and the like. I should have taken more time to do all this while I didn't have a job.

Newmanistan: Would like to increase the length of the Everlong Race for Yoggy to Descension Girls Will Code 350, as I deem it too few laps for the Everlong Series when I have a domestic race of the same name for 300 laps.
Also, would like to swap the race dates for Aji No Moto and the Jakulta races, since both are owned by the same user.
IC/OOC justification: To save travel costs to have four consecutive races in AO as the Jakulta race seems to be the odd man out of the four tracks.

Hey guys. I've had an idea rattling around my head for a while and I want to see what other people think.

Would people be interested in having a dedicated NSSCRA Discord, or perhaps an NS Motorsport Discord together with WGPC and WSRC?

I like being able to use Discord for NSSCRA stuff, but sharing a server with the World Cup crowd does not always work well. The server is more or less run by NSWC people for NSWC people, and it gets tiresome to have them dictating who is "respected" and who is not. It's also easy to miss NSSCRA-related posts because they got buried in a sea of NSWC trivia, and I think there are at least a couple of football people who get bored of our chatter.

I held off making this suggestion because there are benefits to having everyone in the same place. It allows opportunities for shared worldbuilding, even if people are active in different sports.

However, this idea has been rattling around my head for about a year now, and I keep coming back to it. Even if we do make an NSSCRA or NS Motorsport Discord, people would still have the option to participate in both that and the existing NSS one.

So is this something that people would be interested in? And if so, would it be better as NSSCRA or a broader NS Motorsport thing?

As little as my opinion might count, I am very much in favor of this idea, largely for the reasons you said, but also because having a dedicated discord makes it easier to coordinate during the off-season, too. You can also share files directly on Discord, and post pictures there without having to go through "approved" image hosts, meaning sharing things like car files would be easier.

As someone who was a part of the Nexus Racing Discord during their trials, as well as a current member of both the NSTT and NS Rugby ones, I definitely feel a motorsports server would be a splendid idea indeed.

I'll lend a moderate voice to the discussion here.

I don't necessarily think we need yet another new server. The NS Sport server is for NS Sport, not the NSWC alone and it is participated by many users who do not participate in the NSWC including those that participate only in Motorsports.


Now, with that said, a WGP specific server already exists that was created by Lisander (which is no longer used and only has 3 users remaining in it). There is also a #motorsports channel on the AO Discord server which I am happy to open the doors to anyone who wants to participate there as well.

If that were the case, then they were arguably never a community in the first place. The existence of other, more specific communities does not preclude the existence of the NSSport one. If you have to take other options away in order to make a community, it speaks volumes as to how much of a community it really is.

This is NS Sports. NS Motorsports is a sub section of NS Sports. NS Motorsports does not need its own server just because folks on the NS Sports server don't talk exclusively about Motorsports.

I don't see why a separate server is needed for each and every thing. There is nothing that an NS Motorsports discord would offer that can't already be accommodated by the NS Sports discord. (other than, i guess, the ability to search stuff and getting non motorsports related search results?)

If NS Sports refuses to allow the creation of an #motorsports channel then just come to the AO Discord and use the one there


Now, I'm not opposed to an NS Motorsports discord heck I'll create it if you guys want me to. I just don't think its necessary for the reasons above.

I'll be honest, I'd most likely forget the NS Motorsports discord if we created one. I've got a ton of discord channels that I'm subscribed to but don't do anything with. I really only pay attention to matters on four discords - the AO one, the NS Sports one, an iRacing team I'm a part of and an iRacing league I'm a member of. I don't know if I'd pay that much attention to another discord server if it existed.

Now, put another channel on the NS Sports discord and I'd be all over that.
