Ahh, very nice. Thank you! ^^

Also as a side note, VRSCR 5 and 6 had botched overall points and are fixed; I will be writing about this ICly. That is why you always do domestic first so that your screw-ups will only incur the wrath of your own characters. :P Not that I will even think about hosting because it's too stressful for me.

I should write more about my own race more than just a small footnote, too, else it will just look flashy.

It's primarily for main series drivers but Everlong Chasers are certainly more than welcome to come over.

So, the idea I had was Media Day is kind of like Super Bowl media day. Drivers are set to talk to the media for a set period of time, and they're asked questions about everything from the game to, well, anything else.

I think this video from last year shows what I'm going at.
https://youtu.be/R6s6reEf0zM

I'm basically gonna RP it as the Team Blue drivers being asked about everything, including some real weird questions and they all handle it in stride. Keep in mind there's gonna be some weird questions at the media day, so go wild with whatever question a Hapiloppian media member might ask.

This is kind of a proposal for speedweeks leading up to the Tundra Falls 500 next season

First, to start off the season let's have a 20 lap opener similar to the Busch Clash but with a few changes. For starters, all former NSSCRA champions who want to participate are allowed to. That includes second-tier champions. Race winners from the last year are also qualified from both series. Anyone else who wants to make the show will participate in one of the two open heats. The top two from each heat are transferred to the main event, a 20 lap dash for $1,000,000 cash. The next event of my proposed speedweeks is to have the exhibition races become qualifiers for the main races. Your starting position in the qualifiers is determined by qualifying the previous day. The top 40 drivers from each qualifying race will in the main events based on their position in the qualifying race. The polesitter and the second-fastest in single-lap qualifying for each qualifier race are locked into the main event. After the qualifying races speedweeks proceeds as usual with Friday having Happy Hour scheduled for 1:00 PM through 3:30 PM.

Monday: 1:00 PM- Venom All-Star Race Open Heat 1- 10 laps
Monday: 1:30 PM- Venom All-Star Race Open Heat 2- 10 laps
Monday: 7:30 PM- Venom All-Star Race Main Event- 30 laps

Tuesday: 1:00 PM- Open Practice
Tuesday: 3:00 PM- Media Day; drivers available until 8:00 PM for questions

Wednesday: 12:30 PM- Second practice session
Wednesday: 2:30 PM- Everlong Series qualifying
Wednesday: 4:00 PM- Tier 1 Qualifying

Thursday: 5:30 PM- Everlong series qualifying race- 100 laps
Thursday: 7:30 PM- Tier 1 qualifying series race- 100 laps

Friday: 1:00 PM- Happy Hour

Saturday: 4:00 PM- Tundra Falls 400

Sunday: 5:00 PM- Tundra Falls 500

Heats for the 500 have been talked about time and time again, and I'm for it, however, that would mean so much more scorination, which is probably why it hasn't been used.

I think the exhibition race is enough of a lead in at the start of the season.

We already have had a large increase in the amount of scorinated results getting crammed into the season due to the second tier, the Clash, iRoS, Val's domestic results, IRACT charter races... I think we've reached the point where adding more doesn't add much to the series.

iROS at least has its own thread, only getting referenced in the NSSCRA thread when needed. Maybe Val should look into doing that?

Most very likely, yes! ^^ Maybeeee for the next season.
For now I am still going to put them here if that's okay, and I will spoiler the relevant future results. I didn't think that far ahead in all honesty, so yeah, my bad on the clutter! >,<

Edit: I might actually make a separate thread later.

Edit 2: It now has a separate thread! I'm sorry I didn't do this earlier. ^^; Commentary will be either done there, or will be copy-pasted into my NSSCRA posts without any interruption from the regular programming. ♥

Just out of pure curiosity because I wrote about it as G6MR, I was wondering if there has been a point or a race in NSSCRA whereby the scorinator actually gave a tie to the first place, with both drivers resulting in a win?

Such a scenario might be close to unlikely, but if it has happened before, do you have to re-scorinate to get a clear winner, or just leave it as it is? :P

That's a good question actually. Keep in mind, that each of the final times is an average, so we can go out additional decimal places if needed. When you see two drivers listed in the final results with the same average time, then the driver in the better position had a better average when additional decimal places were used.

Now, what to do if the average time was exactly the same for a victory? Good question! I would probably use segments won as a tiebreaker, and then average finishing spot (ex. driver is 7th in segment 1, 6th in 2, 7th in 3, 2nd in 4, and 3rd in 5; their average finish was 5.0). If still tied, I think I would just call a dead heat for the win!
