[NSSports Trigrams]

As there is a new interest in the Trigrams thread and it has been a while since the last update, this post brings notice that a new update is under way. The process will take a few days to complete but I hope we can have this up and running again by the weekend at the latest.

The first stage is to audit the current trigram list and free up unused trigrams - by removing CTE'd nations. Some historic giants who have contributed greatly but are not around at present will have their trigrams reserved, but most will be cleaned out. You can see in the first post which are marked for clearing - the trigram is marked in red.

What you can do now

If you have a puppet which is dormant but on the list and marked for removal - if you want to keep this trigram, revive said puppet and TG to this NSSports Trigrams account to let me know. The full and complete update is being done in the background and won't be published until ready, which will likely be at the weekend; you have a few days to revive and confirm. If you don't want to save your old puppet trigram - you need do nothing.

If you don't have a trigram and want one - post your request in this thread and if it all checks out, it will be added with this update. Please read the OP first - I note recent entries are not providing the required information, specifically links to sportswire or recent tournament signup. I will back-track through recent ones if necessary, although it would help if you can edit that in. But from this point forward, please provide correct info, thanks.

An Update On The Update

All requests up to this post have been processed and all accepted bar four listed below. A working list will be up within 48 hours; having completed a purge of inactive nations, and gone through all requests since the Nov. 2016, there are about 270 to come off and 53 going on at this point. My next task is to pull down from the latest IFCF codes listing; I will adopt an 'automatic entry' to this list from there - unless there are any conflicts (I'll cross that bridge later).

- The nation doesn't come up in searches, obviously the apostrophe is affected, but I can't find a near-name by search either? Can you link to some particpation please so I can confirm this and put a nation link in the listing.

- the link provided is to your one and only post in NS Sports and is two and a half years old; I don't feel your request qualifies per this statement in the OP, the first line of the whole thread:

A Rule: Please do not request a 'trigram' if your nation will not participate in NS Sports or because you simply can. This will be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Of course you would be welcome at any time to reapply when you are active in NS Sport.
