For those posting OOC notes in the IDSN thread, you should be posting them here, in the discussion thread. That is what this thread is for, after all.

Yours,
Jerome Kutterill,
Chairman, Stanza Blitzkrieg FC

Stanza Blitzkrieg will join the league at this upcoming expansion, provided they find a city to be based in.

Please avoid the following cities and towns, already host to foreign feeder clubs: Riverston, Sémoy, Port Stanley, Dz’ai, Modna Nord, Oldbridge, Caernvill Point, Mont-Pluie, Stanley

Please also avoid the capital, City of Ad’ihan.

Image

The AFF also confirms the membership of the Caernvill Hawks (Hawks Sporting Academy, Somewhereistonia) based in Caernvill Point; CF Outineau-Mont-Pluie Ad’ihan also known as CF OMPA (CF Outineau, Kelssek), based in Mont-Pluie; and Stanley Rangers (Oblast Rangers, Sorthern Northland), based in Stanley.

Unless another team confirms its interest before both a) Stanza Blitzkrieg confirms its home city and b) the next season takes place, applications to join the United Islands Minor League are now closed.

The AFF would like to recommend interested teams apply to the VFR for places in the Vephrese league system.

Incidentally, if lower-ranked leagues or lower-tier leagues are interested, every season a number of young players are released from Weegie clubs by mutual consent, due to perceived failure to develop to either party's satisfaction. These players would be free to sign for other nations.

This has always been the case; the WFA is just making this better known because it wants a greater Weegie presence abroad, something that is somewhat hindered by Weegie transfer rules.

Finally in "Weegie bargain basement" posts, former Weegie international striker Lars Connacht, 29, has been released by his club Lylia Foresters. Lars was the premier Weegie striker in World Cups 48 and 49, scoring 28 goals in 36 games. A lurking threat in many a penalty box at that time, he was well known for his aerial abilities.

Alas, in World Cup 50, in a game against Kura-Pelland, his leg was broken, taking him out of the 50th World Cup and club football for 5 months. By the time he came back, it was clear that he was a shadow of his former self. He had been replaced at international level by Caires City's Quentin Gorrie, and was resigned to probably never playing for his country again. His anemic form in the 2012/13 season was a contributor to Lylia Foresters' disappointing 11th place that season.

Whilst he has recovered significantly from those doldrums, making up for his loss of jumping ability and pace with a new found impressive ability to position himself well for set-ups, he was found surplus to requirements at the Foresters.

Lars is anxious to find another club and is willing to lay well below Weegie Premiership level.

Almondvale Football Club would like to officially offer Mr. Connacht a contract.
http://nswiki.net/index.php?title=Almondvale

A club known throughout Queer Poco el Mono Ara as one with no cash to spend on players, they rely on freebies and loan players. The side would be able to offer Mr. Connacht a competitive salary, the chance to play Globe Cup football, a starting position and most of all the opportunity to play in sunny Queer Poco el Mono Ara where everything is always rainbows and smiles.

Despite having no cash, the team are masterminded by Daryl Ferguson whose ability to lure in quality players (mostly homegrown former internationals - see Petr Ollic, Karim Zaki and Frederico) on the down swing of their career has propelled the team to two top four finishes in the past three seasons and a trip to the Trofeo Royal final (the QPeMA F.A. Cup) last season which they lost in a penalty shoot-out.

Raul Ibanez, starting striker for the Albundanian National Squad, has been released by Laciudad FC and is looking for a contract abroad. He's 24 years old, Isn't looking for a lot of money, but he does want a guaranteed starting job. He can play as a winger or a striker.

Offers should be TG'd to me. Additional information can be provided upon request.

EDIT: Ibanez is set to joing Trams Union United in the Weegies.

Guess What?

TRANSFER TIME *ELECTRIC DANCE MUSIC PLAYS*

The Virabi Transfer List this time includes:
Player Age Pos Club Price
Hectòr Làmo 22 MF C.D. Vonghurst - 450 000
Hector is likely to wind up in a lower ranked First Division side but, he wants to start. Preferably in a Spanish Speaking Country.

Inacayal Mojica 30 GK Portsham City - 1 000 000
Inacayal used to be the starting keeper for his club. However, he no longer is and as a result is looking for a new club. He's looking for a top side that will be willing to start him.

Jack Griggs 21 GK Charleston Artillery - 500 000
A up and coming goalkeeper. He's looking to be backup on a mid-table first division side or a starter on a second division side.

Maximilian Gamble 20 FW Vonghurst Capitols - 750 000 (LOAN for 3 years (3 RL months)
Like his name says he is a gamble and may be a bust. But if his coaches are right he will become one of the top players in the world.

Jake Soroka 23 ST Atalanta B.C. - 3 000 000
Nothing but the top teams for Jake.

Andy Stedge 36 DF North Slope Avalanche - 200 000
At 36 many think he's nearing the end of his career. However, he's just reaching his prime. A true bargain for teams that are strapped for cash.

Jimmy London 17 GK South Plain Bison - 1 200 000 (LOAN for 5 years (5 RL months)
A footballer who's future looks bright. Is looking to start abroad, before returning home.

Henry Burns 29 DF Brent - 600 000
He's looking to end up in a top second division club.

Jack Griffin 28 ST Ethas Mustangs - 700 000
Looking to be on a second or low-first division club.

Mario Luigo 16 MF F.C. Negroe Pride - 100 000 (LOAN for 4 years (4 RL Months)
Another Young thing who is a star of the Pride's youth program and a regular sub. He's looking to get some starting experience abroad.

Gin Okasa 25 MF Mount Charlie - 1 500 000
He's been playing well recently and is looking to continue that in another country.

John Varvay 23 DF Dryden Town - 500 000
He's probably going to find himself in a mid-table second division club.

Eric Handsman 15 GK Dryden Town - 200,000 (LOAN for 7 years (7 RL Months)
He's 15 and already Dryden Town's starting goal keeper. He has a bright future nuff said.

Andres Sanchez 24 FW C.D. Vonghurst - $600,000
He's definately under valued. Looks to be a good fit for a mid-table club. Has to be in a spanish speaking country though.

(NOTE: All suggestions are simply suggestions. All offers will be looked at so feel free!)

Offers accepted in both TG and in the Forum or in IRC

OOC- Just to get my timelines down, how often are the championship tournaments held (in charachter). I am beginning to pour a lot of effort into my league and I definately want things to be close to everyone else's timelines. Example - I don't want to post three or four seasons when everyone else is simply running one. I would rather take the time to expand upon the one. Thanks for any helpful answers is an understatement.

There's one set after every WC qualifying, and another set after every full WC Finals. Most people post seasons according to this, but TBI (the only one I know who does this) posts one according to a fixed timeline, regardless of championship timings.

I don't think there is a universal timeline, but for me, 1 UICA cycle=1 year. This applies to everything I do in NS sports.

Aye, there's no set time limit. Most people I'd say most do either two or four years between World Cups, a few do just one year I think. Really though, you can have as long between World Cups as you want. Fluid time ftw.

No, Chitwick University was a university club, until the 1980's. Now there just a normal club, albeit one with very rich owners.
