Okay everypony, let's get the show rolling again! I hereby proclaim the Equestria Cup IV sign-ups open! As always, you may sign-up on the RMB, here in the tournament OOC thread, by TGing me, or by posting in the CoPS OOC thread when I post the announcement there. The tournament will run in late July or early August. The target number of participants this time is 24-32.

I also would like to recommend signing up for the next NS World Cup and the Baptism of Fire if you have not competed in one before. There are some of you who I feel hold great potential, and I'd love to have our regions grow in power in the NS Sports community.

Finally, I would like to recommend setting up domestic leagues in your nations as we might do a Pony Lands/Equestria Champions Cup sometime in the near future.

Now for something new: I'm considering adding a ranking system to the Equestria Cup IV that will take into account the results of the last three cups. Additionally, it might also take into consideration World Cup participation. Now before you jump all over me saying this isn't fair, I'll tell you now that if it is included as part of the ranking, it will be only slightly. However, it could prove the difference in a competitive match.

Also, I intend to implement the plans for the out-of-Pony Lands/Equestria invitational. Thus, a sign-up thread will be created for that purpose in the near future.

All posts here and on the Pony Lands RMB have been added (@Yeso: That's fine by me. You're one of a shrinking group of nations (I believe the actual number is five) that have participated in every Equestria Cup.)

If you tried TGing me your sign up last week, but did not post, then you should resend or post here as my TG box was filled and may have auto-deleted the message. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Also, just gonna post here that sign-ups are still open until July 31. After that, we'll start the tournament. I will try to have the thread up within the next few days as I am going away for about a week (again) starting Saturday and will likely not have Internet until July 21 or so.

Another note: The ranking system that I intend to implement for the tournament (starting with EC4) will take into account the most recent KPB rankings as well to encourage you all to participate in the World Cup (and Baptism of Fire if you haven't done a WC before). The quantity of this bonus will be determined based on your posted WC roster. Nations will receive a small portion of their KPB points so that the ranks are determined mostly by Equestria Cup results.
