Scott City Ice Arena, located in Darmen's capital Scott City and home to the Scott City Oilers, seats 22,950 spectators. The arena is close to 50 years old, but updates over the years have kept the building's safety in line with modern standards and ensured that the arena can handle the requirements of modern broadcasting and media availability.

Vilitan Hockey Championship

Although only two Vilitan Hockey League Clubs advanced through to the Quarter finals of the Hockey Champions League, both would survive through to contest the Hockey Champions League Final at the Prince Daniel Stadium in Kerveguen. For the Lopinka Lynx it was a fairly uneventful journey, defeating the Hofvinger Wolfmasters of Graintfjall 11-6 over two legs in the Quarter Finals then defeating Kelssek's CH Outineau 10-3 over two legs in the Semi-Finals. The path was a bit more difficult for the Marine Mammals who went down 3-0 after the first game in Darmen against the West Scott City Toons. But the Mammals were not to be denied, levelling the fixture late in the third period at the Marine Ice World and then scoring the series-clinching goal in Overtime. Like the Lynx, the Mammals Semi-Final opponent would be from Kelssek but in the form of Beaujoire. Also like the Lynx, the Marine Mammals would be victorious in their Semi-Final quest and by an identical 10-3 scoreline.

As such it would be an all Vilitan final in the 26th Hockey Champions League and this time out the champions of the Vilitan Hockey League would actually survive to claim the HCL double while inflicting double heartbreak on the Lynx as it was the Mammals who eliminated Lopinka from the Semi-Final stage of the Vilitan Hockey Championships as well as being the team that denied the Lynx their most recent opportunity in the Vilitan Hockey Championship Series during Season 14.

Despite having their first Hockey Champions League title under their belt, the Mammals were not run away winners during Vilitan Hockey League Season 21 and in fact lost the Western Conference title for the second straight season to the Alikki-Corra Aye-Ayes. Their HCL Final opponents the Lopinka Lynx would also lose their conference title giving the spot and the first round bye up to the Obaobai Bombers but both would still qualify for the playoffs with a chance to meet again if they could make the final.

In a rare instance of seasonal parity it would be the same 6 teams advancing to the playoffs in Season 21 as had done so in season 20. One team not making the playoffs, however, would be the Lonngeylin Jawz who eclipsed their lowly record for points and goals scored yet still managed to do one worse, failing to win a single of their 28 games in regulation time.

Despite having each finished 2nd in their conference standings, both the Mammals and the Lynx would be knocked out of the playoffs in the Wild Card Round with the Mammals being handily swept by the Seraai Icestronauts while the Lopinka Lynx were stimied by a strong defensive juggernaut in Yeaddin HC who were fortunate to squeeze past the Lynx.

There was a thrilling contrast to the Inter-Conference Semi-Final round matchups as in one, the Obaobai Bombers would sweep the Seraai Icestronauts 4-0 to advance to the Vilitan Hockey Championship for the third time while in the other, it would be a 7 game series for the history books.

In a rematch of the Semi-Final from one season prior, there was already plenty of competitive spirit flowing through the veins the Alikki-Corra Aye-Ayes and the Yeaddin Hockey Club. Coming in as the underdogs, Yeaddin knew they had to make a splash and make a splash early and they did just that, winning Game 1 on the road in triple Overtime after frustrating the Aye-Ayes into a goalless regulation period. The Yeaddin defense would prove unpentrable again in Game 2 and once again Yeaddin would notch the games only goal in Overtime to take a 2-0 series lead. The first sign of a kink in the Yeaddin defense came in game three when they would finally concede their first goal of the series but still held on to win 2-1 in double overtime putting Yeaddin HC on the verge of joining the Obaobai Bombers in sweeping their way through to the Championship. Unfortunately for Yeaddin, that Game 3 Overtime Winner would be the last goal they would score in the series. The Alikki-Corra Aye-Ayes would come roaring back to win each of the last four games of the series starting with a 1-0 Overtime Victory in Yeaddin that avoided the sweep and set the Aye-Ayes off with the Momentum they needed to fight back, eventually winning Game 7 to complete the comeback and head off to face the Bombers in the Vilitan Hockey Championship.

One season after being Obaobai Bombers stunned in the inter-conference playoff round by Yeaddin HC, the Obaobai Bombers finally achieved their pinnacle winning the Vilitan Hockey Championship for the first time, outlasting a tired Alikki-Corra Aye-Ayes club who themselves accomplished history by coming back from a 0-3 deficit against Yeaddin in the Semi-Final Round.

It would be the third consecutive Vilitan Hockey Championship series to go a full seven games and the second consecutive season that the Aye-Ayes were on the losing end in Game 7 as the Obaobai Bombers were crowned Vilitan Hockey Champions.

Welcome to the Irritating Stick Hockey League! Okay, seriously, we have to explain ourselves. The nation of Irritating Stick is all about fast movements, careful attention to surroundings, and BANGING when hitting the edge. Hockey, whether it is ice hockey or field hockey, is the national sport, and it's taken VERY seriously. The ISHL, formed as an 8 team league in Exhibition Season 9982, was and still is played under Irritating Stick Rules, the biggest features of which are the gray pucks and 45 second shot clock*. ISHL games, therefore, are high scoring affairs, to the point where goal horns are completely discouraged and every team has an announcer that shouts "GOAL" after every goal, no matter where it comes from.

The ISHL's postseason, known as the Saurus Cup Playoffs, are also unique in hockey. It's not the top x teams who make it in - All teams, regardless of record, that didn't lose by 10 goals or more in the regular season qualify. While games in the Saurus Cup Playoffs are best-of-7, teams could also automatically advance should they beat a team by a certain amount - By 7 goals in Game 1, by 6 goals in Game 2, all the way up to the more traditional most goals win format of hockey should a series head into a do-or-die Game 7. Should 12 teams or more lose by 10 goals or more in the regular season, the top 12 teams in the ISHL based on points advance to the Saurus Cup Playoffs.

*AKA a +5 style modifier for all teams
