Is there any sort of history of international domestic baseball competitions on the subforums?
Would anyone be interested in participated if we started one up/kicked one off? Some sort of baseball champions league?

I have a desire to put in a hosting bid but am unsure whether to do it through Caleon or the Caleon Professional Baseball account of mine.

Hello there, Caleonia!
Generally, we bid for events from our main nations, however, your bid can still be supported IC-ly (in-character) by corporations. One example for this would be the most recent bid, by Chromatika, which was supported by the Regional Transit Corporation of Banija.
If you're planning to bid for WBC53, I would highly recommend reading some of the previous bids, linked in the signup thread, and the Guide to Sports Roleplaying if you haven't already; the guide has a very useful hosting guide. The World Baseball Classic is a very difficult event to host for a first-time host, but that doesn't mean it's impossible to win a bid. If you want to help the odds, you could attempt to co-bid with another, more experienced nation. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask them here or send me a telegram. I hope you enjoy your time here!

I might throw in a hosting bid soon, when I have time on my PC and my internet isn’t actively imploding. Just wish there was a scorinator with interleague play (like the MLB and NPB) and dynamic schedule generation for my own league
