Chapter Four - How deep the Rabbit Hole goes
As she stepped out in her living room freshly showered, the mess of her flat was amplified by her own cleanliness, she heard her mother's voice ringing out in her ears "Clear place, clear mind" and although she would never tell her, sometimes it was true. Once the various bio-hazards had been contained, she sat back at her desk with clear purpose. With the needles now crystallised into thirty examples, she could now delve deeply into each one. First thing she noted is it appeared a different charity each time, all somewhere doing missions in the middle of nowhere, all with squeaky clean digital presences. Far too squeaky clean, but really top to bottom coverage meaning either government or, no she though there is no or, these records go back twelve years only the government would have the resources for an operation like this.
Upon this realisation, she double checked all her safeguards, if she was prying into something government related she couldn't afford to take any chances. Once satisfied she was obscured enough, she continued looking into these events. Firstly despite using the biggest stadium in Tanirinthia these matches were not televised, she searched on social media for any pictures/videos of the matches finding some but not as much as you would expect for events that over 70,000 people are going to. Having looked at some she seemed to notice a pattern, in each of the matches she could find footage of there are parts of the crowd that have groupings of people all wearing the same colours/outfits as the charity team on the pitch. She checked against all known kits in Tanirinthia and could not find any matches, odd that there would be supporting the charity team in such numbers and co-ordination, she could find no social media in the lead up to the events where the charity had engaged online and organised this, as if these people had all spontaneously woken up the morning of the match and happened to chose to wear the same as the charity team.
Something is up, but she was at a dead end digitally she was going to need to take this IRL, perhaps look into the hotels or the police deployments, the power stations or as luck would have it, there was a match that met the parameters coming up this very week, some supposed charity to support the plight if the Artic Foxes. Ticket bought all she could do is wait till matchday and see where on earth this led her.
