With the collapse of the UEMS conglomerate followed by the wide spread privatization of almost the entirely of the Commonwealth defense sector, with this massive privatization came the resulting realization that the national government of the Commonwealth would be required to take a guiding hand to the multitude of defense companies emerging on the market. Not only would the Commonwealth government be required to secure and facilitate the sale and transfer of defense systems and technologies that complied with both national & international law, but also safeguard the sovereign interest of the Commonwealth. With a tradition stretching back over four centuries utilizing the latest advances in manufacturing to provide the international market of law enforcement and military forces with imaginative and innovative products that secure their nation’s ongoing defense requirements for quality hardware while providing one’s defense forces a guarantee of reliability, durability & political independence. Joint Venture: The Commonwealth defence company(companies) who are signatories to the proposed venture agreement are hereby granted an equity holding in the new joint venture company in the ratio of 55:45 percent equity, with the Commonwealth company or companies by agreement of consent being granted the majority share.

- United Ordnance Industries (UOI): A private company, UOI has managed to find a niche within the defense industries of the Commonwealth through the manufacture of high grade munitions for a variety of military weapon systems.
- United Commonwealth Defence Systems (UCDS): Formed from the privatization of United Earthling Land Systems, as such UCDS continues the long tradition established by its predecessor in the manufacture and support of armored vehicles of all types in service within the Royal Commonwealth Defence Forces.
- Imperial Ordnance (IO): Having been founded in 1825, Imperial Ordnance is one of the oldest private companies within Britstralia and as a result has been a long time rival and companion of both United Ordnance Industries and the nationalized subsidiary United Earthlings Land Systems/United Commonwealth Defence Systems. While the main focus of the company has long been the research, development and manufacture of various types of munitions, explosives, a few type of small arms and tank cannons of various sizes. It is only in the last few years, however that the company has expanded its market share to include the manufacture of infantry fighting vehicles and main battle tanks, the Terra series of main battle tanks being the best known international example.
- Lancaster Defence (LO): A relative newcomer to emerge within the Commonwealth defense industry community, the company received its first major defense contract for its submitted HIFV/IFT design later known as the Type 214 “Athena”. Since then, the company has expanded its product line of defense equipment to include not just the Athena, but other armoured vehicles.
- Turmeca Engine and Turbine Corporation (TETC): A private company, Turmeca is responsible for the manufacture of high quality diesel and gas turbine engines used for trains, ships, military vehicles, farming, mining and construction equipment as well as diesel generators. Turmeca also produces a small selection of gas turbines for helicopters, aircraft and missiles.
- Commonwealth Aerospace Systems (CAS): Like its sibling UELS, CAS was formed from the privatization of United Earthling Aerospace Systems following the breaking apart and defunctness of United Earthling Military Systems. Like its predecessor, the company continues to research, develop, and manufacture aerospace products (Satellites, Rockets and Missiles) and their associated systems such as engines and avionics, etc... For both the Royal Commonwealth Defence Forces and the international civilian and military market.
- National Aviation Corporation (NAC): Though once a companion to UEAS, the National Aviation Corporation is a private company like Turmeca and is responsible for the manufacture of civilian aircraft and its systems. With the increasing use of civilian systems being integrated into military systems to reduce cost, NAC has begun to make inroads into the military aerospace sector which was once solely dominated by UEAS. This has led many to believe at the time that the National Aviation Corporation should’ve been incorporated into UEAS. However, all attempts to merge the NAC into UEAS had failed and with the disbandment of UEMS/UEAS the National Aviation Corporation of Britstralia has now become one of the dominant players in the market of military aerospace within the Commonwealth Kingdom.
- Rolls Electric Limited (REL): Though only a small private company in comparison to the other defense companies of the Commonwealth, Rolls-Electric has made a name for itself manufacturing high quality turbojet, turbofan and turboprop/turboshaft engines not only for military fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft, but for a wide variety of civilian aircraft as well.
- Norfolk Marine Shipbuilding&Engineering (NMSE): The smallest of the private naval defense contractors within the Commonwealth with its shipyard facilities located solely within the city of Norfolk. Norfolk Marine Shipbuilding&Engineering (NMSE) has for more than a century been designing, building, overhauling and repairing a wide variety of vessels both military and civilian for the Royal Commonwealth Navy, the merchant fleet of Britstralia and a few international navies which includes their merchant navy. NMSE is also one of the nation’s leading providers of major surface ships such as destroyers, cruisers, frigates, high endurance cutters, and amphibious assault ships for the Royal Commonwealth Navy and international navies. In addition, NMSE also offers wide ranging after market services– maintenance, repair & complex overhaul support for a wide array of naval and commercial vessels. Finally, NMSE has two of the largest naval dry docks ever built within the Commonwealth. Each one measuring 684 meters long [2,246 feet] by 158 meters wide [516 feet] capable of building up to two 1,000 plus foot long aircraft carriers side by side.
- Commonwealth Shipbuilding Systems (CSS): One of the largest private defense companies within the Commonwealth, having shipyard facilities and other fabrication centers throughout the nation, CSS also happens to be the second oldest private defense company within the Commonwealth. With experience in military design, construction and support, CSS experience encompasses the whole spectrum of military vessels from Aircraft Carriers through to Rigid Inflatable Boats. It is this experience, commitment to promoting innovation and the use of cutting edge technology that has allowed CSS to build strong, longstanding relationships with customers around the globe. This, combined with their logistic support capability, ship reactivation and track record of managing infrastructure and dockyard operations enables them to deliver across the entire lifecycle of a vessel.
- Bremen Iron Works, Ltd (BIW): Bremen Iron Works is a full service shipyard specializing in the design, building and support of complex surface combatants for the Royal Commonwealth Navy. In May of 2009, the yard began full scale construction on the first of the new F-class frigates, continuing its tradition of leadership in technology and innovation. With BIW's 80+ year history reflecting a continuous pattern of innovation, new technology and process improvements has lead the company into the forefront of building highly outfitted modular ship units, some weighing nearly 5,000 tons, which are erected on their state of the art Land Level Transfer Facilities. The result of this expertise is a highly capable and affordable product for the Navies of the world that carries with it the renowned quality of a Bremen built ship.
- Royal Maritime Shipbuilding Systems (RMSS): Though the private company of Royal Maritime Shipbuilding Systems has one of the shortest shipbuilding traditions of all the shipbuilding companies located within the Commonwealth. They have distinguished themselves with their innovative developments and technological mastery which has resulted in the development and construction of advance submarines and naval surface vessels such as the non-nuclear powered Erie Class submarine and the Prussian Class frigate. RMSS have also focused its business into handling commercial shipbuilding, the repair and conversion of ships as well as the development and integration of components. This has resulted in Royal Maritime Shipbuilding Systems taking a strong position in the shipbuilding industry and achieving status of international recognition within the shipbuilding world.
- Veracruz National Laboratory (VNL): The Veracruz National Laboratory is a multi-program science and technology national laboratory managed for by the Britstralian Department of Commerce and Energy. Though involved in a wide array of multi-disciplinary research programs for fields such as outer space, renewable energy, medicine, nanotechnology, and supercomputing. The laboratory’s main purpose is for national security in the research, development and production, including isotope production of the Commonwealth’s nuclear weapons.
- Hyperian Technologies (HT): Once a subsidiary of UEAS and by extension UEMS, the formerly known United Missile Systems was privatized around a decade ago, making UMS one of the youngest companies in existence that was part of the UEMS family at that time. This privatization in turn allowed the company to better focus its resources toward the research, development and production of advance missile systems as well as various guided and unguided bombs. The company’s first major success and most notable example after being privatized was the Poseidon Anti-Ship Missile, thereby quelling those critics once and for all who had been opposed to the privatization of UMS in the first place. Following the almost complete privatization of UEMS and its various subsidiaries, United Missile Systems was renamed to its current name. Since the rebranding, the company has expanded into the realm of military electronics.
- C-tronics Technologies and Systems (CETS): CETS provides electronics, mission systems integration and other capabilities in the areas of sensing; effects; and command, control, communications and intelligence systems; as well as a broad range of mission support services. CETS electronics and defense-systems units manufacture, aircraft radar systems, weapons sights and targeting systems, communication and battle-management systems, satellite components and semiconductors for the electronics industry
- Avalon Techsystems (ATS): Like CETS, ATS is part of the Commonwealth’s defense base for the manufacture of radars, electro-optical sensors, and other electronic systems for aerospace, naval and ground based military applications. ATS is also a developer and producer of precision guided munitions, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles {UAVs}, missile-warning systems, Small-, medium- and large-caliber ammunition and finally Medium-caliber gun systems.
