MESSAGE FROM THE GOLDEN STAR MERCHANT LINE
We are delighted to ACCEPT this new amount of locations, and expand our range of work even more across the globe! We’re particularly grateful for the allowance of new offices, which will allow us to better manage our administrative divisions abroad.
Unfortunately, we will currently have to pause the integration of Port Elizabeth International Airport and Port Elizabeth International Harbor. Questions regarding the nature of the locations will be personally asked in a letter below.
Thank you for choosing Golden Star Merchant Line.
MESSAGE FROM THE GOLDEN STAR MERCHANT LINE
Hello and good day, Mr. Romualdo.
I, the Board, Ms. Fergueson, and many other executives are quite pleased by your proposal to allow us to make trips to your good nation, and we thank you for such.
However, some concerns arose regarding your nation’s policy on merchant liners being defensively armed; while our crews regularly experience and will comply to military inspection boardings, such as those in our own nation of Exodia, we do not know if any defensive armaments such as pintle-mount medium machine guns, hard-kill active countermeasures, and fire hoses, as well as the presence of armed PMCs and a firearm safe on board our ships, will violate any laws in your waters.
While it clearly seems quite paranoid to keep such a large offensive presence aboard a civilian vessel, piracy has long been on our crew safety agenda, notably after an incident around half a year ago in which we had numerous fatalities and kidnappings of crewmembers and security contractors, as well as the loss of a vessel, to well-armed pirates.
While it certainly isn’t a pleasant subject, I wanted to ensure the safety of our employees, as well as the safety of your nation’s personnel and citizens when regarding such matters.
Sincerely,
Francis Pisces
Secretary and CMO of the Golden Star Merchant Line
