Twin Moons Media

Dear Mr. Craft,

Thank you for your quick response. Please allow me to introduce myself. I am Évelyne Geismann, Vice President and Director of Export Marketing. I apologize that our enthusiastic production manager submitted the raw English synopsis to your cinema without explaining the options available to you, our valued customer. Many of our clients prefer translations with a higher degree of fidelity; however, as you have accurately noted, some words do not have a direct translation to English, and one who is not knowledgeable of Helladrian culture may find there is a modest learning curve. Therefore, we also provide a second set of subtitles, fully translated into the languages of our clients and which are context sensitive. So as you can see, there is no need to worry further on this matter.

As for your concerns about our price, 180 USD is our list price, and the standard payment for all necessary licensing and distribution rights for theatre screenings. We do however feel that New Edom is a virgin market with significant consumer potential, and so in order to tap it, we are willing to discount our price down to 160 USD for your cinema; a price we feel is very competitive for this blow-out action flick.

Cordially,
Vice President Évelyne Geismann,
Director of Export Marketing

Thank you very much for your prompt reply. With regard to your reassurances about subtitles and following a review of the film by our board upon the advice of marketing team experts we feel that your second price of $160 mill NSD sounds reasonable and we accept it. if you in turn are satisfied, then we will prepare for the legal contracts to be drawn up.

We look forward to an excellent business relationship with your company which will provide entertainment, cultural exchange and pleasure to millions.

Regards,
John Craft,

Imagine our excitement when we realized that we would have a chance to be the first cinema chain to show "Living with Humanity" one of the most popular series in the Cornellian Empire Region! Nitelife Magazine voted it 'most likely show to be watched without parental permission' last year! Condemnation of the show by the Apostolic and End Times Churches only increased viewings across New Edom!

We are delighted to accepted your proposal that we should show your historically important film in our cinemas. We have received some concern from some investors who are worried about how this might affect relations between the Late Roman Empire and other nations, but we strongly believe in artistic and historical integrity and will be happy to show this film. After all the past is the past, and nations as well as people learn from past errors.

Your price of $65 mill NSD sounds reasonable and we accept it. if you in turn are satisfied, then we will prepare for the legal contracts to be drawn up.

We look forward to an excellent business relationship with your company which will provide entertainment, cultural exchange and pleasure to millions.

Subject: Supplier application

Whom it may concern,

CuppaCoffee currently has a small number of active external supplier agreements, however they are not adequately tracked and currently do not form a significant part of our overseas business. However, feeling the need to expand our business further we have recently taken the decision to launch ourselves into the supplier industry, offering our products for third-party sale by other major and/or successful companies around the world. Attached is a completed supplier application, we hope it is filled out to a sufficient standard. If you accept, Paladin Cinemas will be the first in a long line of foreign companies to sell CuppaCoffee to customers. Understanding the desire to squeeze as much profit as possible from such deals, we would be prepared to offer Paladin Cinemas up to 65% of all profits generated on the sale of CuppaCoffee products.

We hope you can accept our application and we look forward to working closely with you into the future,

Dear sir,

I wish to cordially invite Paladin Cinemas to set up a two-screen cinema in Aerfort Chorcaí Nua's Terminal E. To that effect, please find attached a form requesting such. The presence of a cinema in our airport, which is one of the world's busiest and most widely-connected to other nations, would no doubt greatly assist your brand's recognition throughout Maltropia and the world and would no doubt lead to other branches being demanded throughout the nation and the nations of other passengers. I look forward to your reply.

To Oliver Buxon, CuppaCoffee Inc.

Paladin Cinema's would like to thank you for your application for franchise partnership. As you are probably aware, CuppaCoffee is one of the most popular coffee house chains in New Edom as well as being very popular in the world. With Paladin Cinemas growing rapidly to satisfy people's entertainment needs, these are two great things that go well together. While we already have a coffee shop, it is interesting that having two will actually increase our business, and therefore your own. People love choice.

We find the percentage you are offering most acceptable, and we can move on therefore to the contract arrangements. Your business proposal is accepted

Finally, we would like to say that we look forward to further business transactions with your country in the future and hope this is the beginning of a prosperous business relationship.

Regards,

Dear Sir,

We, the nation of Mizuyuki, have recently passed a new piece of legislation in our National Diet, the Industries Act of 2013. Under the provisions in the said act, Mizuyuki now actively encourages foreign industries to invest in our country. Thus, we are making an offer for Paladin Cinemas to open their branches in Mizuyuki. Please find enclosed our application form. If you have any inquiries, feel free to address them to me.

In the event that our application is approved, we look forward to forging a long and successful business partnership with Paladin Cinemas.

Title: Mapantalë
Producer: Fréaláf Meduselde
Director: Meneldur nos-Ainarauta
Actors: Tasarië nos-Oilossë, Melimian Malyasyr, Beren Barahirondo, Smoriledd Angijak, Silmariën nos-Mornanossë, Nelyafinwë nos-Calaosto
Genre: Thriller, Drama, Neo Noir, Legal drama
Content Rating: Ratings comparable to the R and NC-17 ratings used by the Motion Pictures Association of America rating system has been given by the many of the rating institutes in Aman. Due to the controversy the film caused in its homeland there has however been diverging opinions.
Plot Summary: Mapantalë (a word which carries the double meaning of "rape" and "mistreatment") tells the story of a young upper class woman (Oiolossë) who has allegedly been raped by one of her uncle's (Barahirondo) employees (Angijak), a young man from a lower class environment. The film takes place in a court room in Charn where the case is being tried and the incident is being seen in flashback through the perspective of four people, the alleged victim, the uncle/employer, the alleged perpetrator and the militia detective investigating the case (Malyasyr).

Initially the audience is lead to believe that Angijak's character is guilty, but as the story progresses several inconsistencies in the case against him is revealed and it begins to look increasingly like a miscarriage of justice is under way, facilitated by class prejudice and possibly bribery on account of the father of the alleged victim (Calaosto). The film ends with the judge (Mornanossë) preparing to announce her verdict.
