President Clarkson states full support for the ISD, slams CSL in recent speech

In just the most recent move of a major political debate in BA, President Clarkson has made an official statement confirming both BA’s role in the ISD, as well as clearly and publicly stating its full and complete support to the alliance.

At a speech in Skei-Skil yesterday evening, President Clarkson accused the CSL and ASP of ‘perpetuating an oppressive and inconsiderate world order’, going on to state that they have showed ‘zero regard or tolerance for those who disagree with their own views, despite how immoral they may be’. She went on to emphasise the ISD’s commitment to the sovereignty of each member state, and closed her speech by encouraging other nations to support the directorate’s ventures.

In a further show of solidarity with the newly formed ISD, the directorate’s flag was raised alongside the GSC and BA flags outside Arz palace, which has been the official residence of both Clarkson and the Leader for multiple months and continues to serve as a key venue for meetings, diplomatic conferences, and other gatherings both formal and informal.

Strange Illness Reported In Occupied Sri Lanka, Several Former Rebel Leaders Found Dead

A strange new illness has gripped the tiny island nation, though some have praised it for targeting terrorists and those who sought to evade capture by local forces. Yet, it is perhaps a worrying sign of something terrible, given how suddenly the illness took hold before rapidly destroying the infected. Their families have been forced under quarentine as well as their families, in order to try to study the mystery illness that fell upon them.

There is obviously no need to panic, however, given that our infectuous disease experts have noted that it appears the virus is difficult to transfer with a tiny windiw to spread, especially when such victims were infected for such a short period of time post exposure before dying a cruel death. Yet, they still caution that disease is everywhere you go, by nature. Wash your hands, cough into your elbow, and stay home if you suspect that you feel sick or have a fever. Stay safe, people!

Echelon arms delivers a new batch of 60 Black Panther MBTs, with improved cooling and a new engine

Today, Echelon spokespeople, during a press conference, confirmed the delivery of a new batch of Black Panther MBTs, totaling 60 new vehicles delivered to the EAF. The Black Panther as a relatively new MBT, that has been doubted as one of the most modern and best general-purpose MBTs currently active, has just been built in small numbers due to its relatively young age. This batch saw the modernization of 60 older MKF-52 MBTs, which have been modified to a newer version of the Black Panther standard, at a total modernization cost of 600 million D-Mark. This new package, called MKF-53 Black PantherM, has addressed multiple shortcomings that field crews reported, while also including some technologies that had not been fully ironed out at the time of its initial launch and public showoff at the Azmen Arms Expo.

One of its most important modernizations, has been the addition of a new engine that replaces the previously used V1215IPE V-12 cylinder inverted piston engine with an imporved German sourced P300 12 Cylinder Opposed Piston engine that provides a similar output while also being more efficient in its fuel use. Through that, additional room and fuel have been secured to add a small APU to the vehicle, which provides additional power for the vehicle's electronic system, and a new air cooling system for the engine to improve the effectiveness of its thermal carmouflage tarp. The new cooling system, includes multiple carefully manufactured fans as well as a filter section on their air intake to stimulate the internal air circulation within the engine compartment. Another sector has fans, which then begin to take the hot air and expel it, by mixing it into the 6 exhaust tubes expelling it alongside to the engine exhaust as well as some cool air mixed into it in multiple spots across the back part of the vehicle.

Additionally, the vehicle received an upgrade to the commander's remotely controlled machine gun, which had been completely replaced with a modular remotely controlled weapons station. The new sation is a modular exoskeleton on which other armements can be placed on, such as a standard 7,62mm or 12,5mm machine gun or a 20/35mm rapid fire gun capable of ussing programable ammunition as well as a 40mm grenade launcher. The ammunition compartment of the weapons station has also been reworked into a modular Lego-like design to allow for either quick replacement of its magazine for realoding or to fit a new caliber for a different weapons system. Similarly, a new upgrade to its frame and base structure, allows for a certain degree of amour modularity, allowing weight to be costumerized depending on need and situation. Now while the roughly 70 ton heavy tank itself, can hardly be transported via the air, the modularity allows amour to be removed and then added again for transit, or while crossing bridges, while also allowing easy intergration of future amour plates onto the vehicle.

The MKF-53 Black PantherM has been designated as the new standart moddel of MBTs, to which all currently existing MKF-52s and MKF-53s are supposed to be upgraded.

In the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, the Great Isles were positioned with the Youngest Isle positioned to the North, the Middling Isle to the East, and the Eldest Isle to the South. In April 2016 (3082), the Great Drought came upon the Isles, and many were lost. Among them was King Rorimac III, uncle to King Michael II, who staved off dehydration and disease for as long as he could, but to no avail. Belecthoria and the Great Isles had long had access to modern medicine; indeed, they had long been among the greatest physicians in the world, but there was nothing to be done for him. Michael II took the throne at the age of 22. Thira chose this time to reach out its arm and strike against its age-old enemy. The Tenth Thiran War was brought to an end with Belecthoria being victorious; the victory was not to last, however, as the Belecthorians and their allies--each of the other nations--were driven to the island known as Meretica in the year 2022 (3088). The island of Meretica (around 100 miles or so the the west, and as large as the Great Isles combined) had long been a colony of sorts of Meretica; they had maintained cultural ties and governance after first discovering it, and it was one of few lands left uninhabited in the 800s (~1866-1966). But Michael set up Almaton as his new capital, and the leaders of the other nations (Ismelda of Allegoria; Loni of Campaignia; Melchizedek of Logicia; Ivy of Misericord; among others) to reside there until such a time as the Thiran Menance could be quashed once and for all.

Now, Michael governs as best he can. He is now called the King of Meretica, though Belecthoria remains his homeland, and he still calls himself a Belecthorian. Many, including the other nations sheltering their, call themselves Mereticans as well. The government is overseen by a two-sided executive branch overseen by the King and a President elected by the Senate. The cabinet is called the Royal Advisory Board and is made up of members appointed by the King and the President. The Senate is the elected legislative body. The Royal Court is made up of appointees made by the King and confirmed by the Senate and the Heads of Houses. The Heads of Houses are the leaders of the dozens of noble families granted their ranks over the centuries by the Dragonheart line.

The first round of League A football was announced to take place on the 27th of this month, the teams had been preparing for some time for the announcement of the start of the league, League A is the elite of football harryan, the biggest teams in the country They are in the league and can fight to qualify in other national competitions, such as the Stars Cup or the Super Cup.
Leagues B, C and D should also have their start announced soon.

The league will be broadcast by us on the Coast Television System (CTS) along with the 2024 edition of the Stars Cup, which is also awaiting the announcement of the start (which is usually a little longer) by the National Federation, we believe that the Recent events in the country may have delayed the Federation's plans, as tournaments normally start in February.

President Clarkson’s call to arms against the CSL!

“The Marajarbian Federation’s hypocrisy and general lack of respect or understanding for its fellow nations is just one of the many reasons as to why this state is inherently corrupt and in opposition to BA’s national interests. Whilst they claim to be democratic, their actions in the ASP and CSL, attempting to repress the views of other through undermining debate and often refusing to cooperate outright, say otherwise. For too long, many nations, including our own at one point, have been convinced that their intentions are purely good and in the name of world peace and order. How wrong we were, when it transpires that this state cannot cope with the reality of its actions, and instead reacts to such criticism by attacking a nation simply for existing. They have cemented their role in this geopolitical landscape as a hypocritical, self serving and dishonest nation which involves itself in every conflict they can find, more often than not only making the situation worse.

Nattia, for example, was destroyed by their intervention, which proved deadly and damaging to all involved and only incited more violence in the now tense region, whilst Marajarbia left it unscathed and branded their actions as positive and solely peaceful, seemingly ignoring the disaster they had directly caused. This is merely a poorly crafted, self-promoting lie which disguises the truth - the fact that Marajarbia is, and always has been, guilty of imperialism.

The CSL is equally responsible for such acts, with their own imperialist tendencies being even poorly hidden from the world’s attention. Actions in Nattia, Yakena, and the ongoing crisis in Heldervin have only proved that further, showing that the only thing they truly care about is their own gain and power over the vulnerable. To put it bluntly, they have oppressed and bullied my fellow authoritarian nations to a point where the ‘democracy’ of the alliance can be questioned. A true democratic organisation respects and acknowledges the rights to sovereignty of all nations, regardless of ideology, yet the Collective Security League seems to have abandoned its original principles of freedom and democracy for a more aggressive approach. They claim this is upholding world order - when in fact these actions are solely based on expanding the influence and power of the CSL’s member states.

This is a call to arms, if you will, for the truly free world. Those who have been bullied and manipulated by the CSL, fear no longer, rebel against this tyranny! Fight for your sovereign rights, fight against our common enemy, do not be fooled by their guise of ‘democracy and peace’. For all those who feel the CSL has wronged them, whether it be the authoritarian leader or the Nattian citizen, heed my advice, prepare yourselves, take action. I recommend you all join the ISD in their efforts to restore world balance from these tyrants, because I guarantee you, they will have your back. Fear no longer! The time has come for the CSL to be judged, and we can’t waste a moment of it!”

Honeywell Tech Sees New Profits

Honeywell Technology, Meretica's largest defense contractor, has seen a recent boost in profits and investments following the unveiling of the Honeywell ST-1519 Falcon. The Falcon is the fastest military jet produced in Meretica today, topping out at 3,795 MPH (6,107 KPH). Weighing a mere 75,000 pounds (34,000 kilograms) with a wingspan of 50 feet (15.2 meters) and a length of 100 feet (30.5 meters), the Falcon is small for a fighter plane. Honeywell engineers have designed it for potential battles where speed is key to victory. CEO Archibald Honeywell, 54, said, "We at Honeywell are proud to have introduced the next big thing in Meretican military technology. This is going to change things in the future."

The Falcon has been tested by the Meretican Royal Air Force and is said to be as effective as the F-117A stealth fighter (codenamed "Honeybee"), which Honeywell developed between 3083 (2017) and 3088 (2022). The Falcon is also said to be more technologically advanced than the F-117A, boasting advanced weaponry and sensors. The Falcon is said to be the most advanced fighter jet in the world, surpassing even the F-22 Raptor and F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. The Falcon has also been hailed as a potentially revolutionary weapon for the battlefield, with the potential to dramatically change warfare and save millions of lives, particularly in light of the ongoing Thiran Problem.

The Falcon is equipped with the Honeywell Weapon System. This is a weapon system that has been developed and refurbished by Honeywell over the course of nearly a century. The system includes laser-guided munitions, weapons that use advanced infrared sensors and laser targeting, advanced munitions that use precision guidance systems, and weapons that use advanced targeting systems. Senator Channing said, "The missile defense system that Honeywell has developed is not a good idea. It is expensive and dangerous. What if this got into the wrong hands? What if terrorists got their hands on this stuff? I don't think it's smart to have missiles that can shoot down missiles that are being fired at us. I don't think the military should spend millions of dollars on a missile defense system that can be used against us." She also expressed concern about the Meretican military using the Falcon. "I think the military is overstepping their bounds with the Falcon. It will create problems with foreign nations, especially in light of our ongoing conflict in Thira. We shouldn't do it."

However, most Senators disagree. Senate Majority Leader Harry Hawthorne and Senate Minority Leader Daisy Thornton expressed interest and approval in the Falcon. Senator Hawthorne said, "This is a great weapon for the Meretican military. The Meretican military is the best in the world, and I want them to keep it that way. I don't want the Meretican military to go backward and start using weapons that are not as good as the ones we already have." Senator Thornton echoed the sentiment, saying, "I think the Falcon is a great weapon, and I'm happy that the Meretican military is working with Honeywell on it. It is a great weapon, and will help us in the future if, Heaven forbid, we get involved in a war. We can pursue world peace and maintain a strong military simultaneously, and we should. If the need arises, we need to be able to defend ourselves."

Pro-CSL and Pro-KTO Sentiments on the Rise As Authoritarians Attempt to Challenge Democracy

With the formation of extremist organizations such as the Global Socialist Coalition or the International Security Directorate, support amongst the Boldonian people for continued relations with the Kalisight Treaty Organization and Collective Security League has seen a rapid rise. The Boldonian Government has dipped its toes in the affairs of both organizations and although currently more effort has been placed towards Boldonian relations with the CSL, the government still considers the KTO a potential partner. The two organizations have been in a long state of cold war however, occasionally getting hot but never all out destruction, with relations between the two organizations still remaining sour many don't know how Boldonia will continue its support of both organizations without angering any one of them. Many Boldonians have the fantasy of the Independent Republic of Boldonia being the one to bridge the gap between the two, but attempts at this have been tried before and have failed, so it remains to be seen if a Boldonian attempt will remain fantasy.

Either way, most Boldonian people and politicians have agreed on one thing, worse foes exist than how the KTO thinks the CSL is like and vice versa. The power of these organizations must be used to stamp out extremists or slavers before they can become a real threat. Several Boldonian politicians have made statements, urging both the CSL and KTO to put aside their differences for the common good. Whether the CSL and KTO will take action after these calls can go either way, although many pessimists have said the recommendations from Boldonia will just go over the heads of certain CSL and KTO members.

The President of the Independent Republic of Boldonia has recently stated that "Boldonia is willing to assist in any peace efforts between the Kalisight Treaty Organization and the Collective Security League however it can, but for Boldonia to assist the KTO and CSL must first be willing to work towards peace again." He also stated that "For lasting peace, any new agreements between the two organizations must be on paper, no more sidestepping around the issues between the two organizations." The Department of State has also stated it is open to any requests from either organization concerning peace between them, and that as Boldonia has some ties in both organizations it could serve as an intermediary if the organizations agree.

However it is important to recognize that the KTO and CSL are not homogeneous entities, but rather each is made up of several different members each with separate interests. Although certain members may have interests that conflict with peace between the two, the Boldonian Government still seems optimistic there are level heads in both organizations, including the founding members of the KTO and CSL, Janpia and Azmeny respectively. However with the CSL focused on the ISD, it seems unlikely they will divert attention towards peace at the moment. But there is time, all it needs to be is scheduled.

Financial Economical Wall Legislation

After a three-day legislation open floor delegation, the Financial Economical Wall Act is enacted after President Draven signed the new act into effect. Winning by one vote, this new act dissolves and eliminate some of the powers pension hedge funds have, including the public private status. By law, all hedge fund pension firms are mandated to only invest their client's money upon requests or instructions. Further, those firms are stripped of their voting and shareholding people to ensure no partial biased in any company.

Ministry of Economy and Trade eyes economic cooperation with the Republic of Svetvostok

KALINGRAD CITY - Commissar Ariso Yuslaka of the Ministry of Economy and Trade (MEAT) has recently announced their interests to further strengthen and expand the Janpian-Svetvostok economic cooperation to ease the flow of goods, continue the economic growth, and to diversify the markets of the two nations. In an earlier interview, Commissar Ariso has outlined the current need to revitalize and continue the economic functionry especially along the Hiakemirian region, in hopes of not disrupting the activities of the region's productive forces especially with the ongoing Matsume-NK war. He remarked that with the current economic downturns brought by the conflict, Janpia hopes to fill the gaps that it caused and to continue the economic growth of nations affected by it.

"The current war in Matsume has potentially brought the loss of stock interests, diverted trade routes, as well as directly or indirectly causing the loss of jobs on some affected nations. This in turn, has created a negative output on to their economy and plausibly putting them under the looms of recession."

This announcement came after the recent proposal by President Han Yeji for a higher level of NK-Svetvostok economic cooperation, despite concerns of the former's conflict

Included in the announcement, the Ministry of Economy and Trade has eyed to lower the tariffs on incoming Svetvostokan commodities, further Janpian economic engagement and investments on their markets to increase economic activity, facilitate easier movement of goods, technology, as well as services from both sides, and offering infrastructure support on transport or industrial facilities with negotiable loans. There are also some official reports proposing a permanent trading route along the Northern Ocean, utilizing the geographic advantage of Janpia and Svetvostok. Once this is established, according to a study, would potentially bring in billions on revenue due to its accessibility, unlike the southern route currently affected by the war.

All these are part of the Ministry's initiative known as the Janpian Co-Prosperity Development, or the Ariso Plan in short, which is aimed to increase the economic capacities and markets of Janpia with other nations, and to allow their partners to mutually benefit from it with an accelerated economic growth.

So far, many have criticized about Janpian inaction during the current Matsume-NK conflict, and some have stated that this is just another opportunity grabbing by the Commissar. Others have stated that the focus should be on stopping Neo-Korean imperialism and not economic proposals with Svetvostok.

Heldervin’s civil war has, whilst seen as wholly uninteresting and politically unpopular in BA, indeed led to the CSL expanding their presence via force and only made their blatant imperialism and disregard for civilian life more apparent. The innumerable deaths, the lack of transparency, and the sheer inability of the CSL have pushed the British Arzelentaxmaconean government to officially declare the recent actions of Marajarbia, and the Collective Security League as a whole, as terroristic. Under new legislation, the alliance is officially considered as a terrorist organisation in light of their ever growing threat to our nation and the free world as a whole. This tyranny shall not be allowed to continue, and we can assure the world that swift and decisive measures shall be taken in the coming days.

With the introduction of the JP-2A "Arbiter" Tank, the Workers of Zelenny Industrial Union, specifically the electronics design bureau, have developed an advanced sight properly fitted for such a tank with the doctrine of "who fires first, wins". In order to fire first, one must be able to acquire a target. And once the target has been acquired, the tank must be able to take it out in a single shot in order to avoid retaliation and without any obstruction. Under this mindset, the Zelenny Electronics Design Bureau has embarked on a development for a new fitting sight system to fulfill such goals, utilizing the same Rakata BMS for its fire control interface, allowing the tank to contextually understand the levels of threats, as well as other features that allow the tank to automatically identify and aim at enemy weakspots, with the information taken from the database. With these BMS programs, the tank can determine which targets pose much more of a threat, making the top of the threat heirarchy being a target priority. It can also recommend the crew on how to proceed with the engagement, lead or direct shots, all with the ballistic, temperature, wind, range, current round on the breech, as well as the barrel wear based on the amount of ammunition shot, being taken into account.

Thanks to its stabilizers, this makes the sight stable even while the tank is moving through rough terrain, allowing either the commander or the gunner to pick up any targets and properly identify it within -20 to +60 angle.

With an ICT Generation III+, the crew can effectively see targets in both day and night conditions in 1,316 x 480 resolution thanks to its 12 – 17 µm spectral bandmaking detector technology. Since most direct combat happens at a 1 to 8-kilometer range, the BMS program connected to the sight system can digitally recognize a 2.3 x 2.3 NATO-size target at around 7,500 meters in daytime conditions, or 6,800 meters at night. However, this does not include the non-digital recognition, which can theoretically run up to 9,500 meters due to the laser rangefinder's capabilities. This laser rangefinder, to be specific, is an eye-safe, methane-pumped, raman-shifted laser, which can also be swapped for a solid-state fiber for the non-gas-state version. In total, the EZV-3 sight has a 0.05 milliradian error margin to the gun, and has a fully colored magnification and target identification levels of 3x, 6x, 13x, 16x, 25x, and 50x digital zoom. The EZV-3 also has a focal-point array, dewar cooler bench, and instant calculation electronics to convert thermal radiation into identifiable video images.

Among the components of the EZV-3 is its own 30V electrical unit that is connected to the entire sight system, as well as digitalized main control unit, which are all connected to a four-bar linkage drive units. The digitalized main control unit has the weaponry traverse control program, thermal optics control panels, and gun position sensors. It also has a switch unit program in case the crew needs to switch roles (commander to gunner or vice versa), as well as a connector unit that utilizes inputs from the Rakata BMS database. This connector unit allows the sight to also function as a fire control system, utilizing the Rakata BMS and its database to utilize the main gun. In a press conference on Monday, the ISO announced a mission to visit a nearby exoplanet - by sailing on starlight. The 2 spacecraft of the Centaur mission will visit the nearby Alpha Centauri system, the closest star system to earth after a 30 year journey. One spacecraft will orbit an exoplanet (planet orbiting a non-sun star) for a prolonged mission over 5 years, whereas the other will perform a flyby of the system, gathering data on several planets as it passes in and out of the system. Both will be the first spacecraft to visit another star system, and promise to revolutionise our understanding of interstellar space, as well as potentially look for signs of light.

The planned mission consists of a pair of small 10kg spacecraft, which will be launched on a trajectory to make a close pass around the sun, at under 5 solar Radii. There, their 600m² "solar sails", large, lightweight reflective sheets, will experience pressure from the large quantity of photons hitting them, accelerating them rapidly, to an eventual velocity of possibly 0.2c, or 1 fifth of light speed. This would make them the fastest man-made objects yet, however, the technology is far from unproven: the idea has been around for multiple decades, with JAXA's IKAROS mission being the first successful solar sail powered spacecraft. Compared to conventional rockets, they allow for very high speeds to be reached, whilst also not needing any fuel. This makes them ideal for interstellar spaceflight.

The 2 spacecraft will contain contain a multispectral camera, a magnetometer (positioned on the edge of the sail) and a spectroscope, allowing detailed, close-up analysis of the planets of the Alpha Centauri system. When spoken to by Radio Eldorado Television, project leader, Dr Alexander Faerber claimed the 2 probes will "revolutionise or understanding of interstellar space and exoplanets" which he referred to in other comments as a "great enigma", whilst also allowing detailed observations of the outer layers of the sun's magnetosphere. The mission will likely launch in 2028 at the earliest, probably from Greater Marine's John J. Jameson Spaceflight Center, although this may be subject to change.

The mission is a true multinational collaboration: instruments will be built in TGEC, the Daeva, Azmeny, Katinea and Greater Marine, and the project will feature thousands of scientists from all over the globe. This aspect of international cooperation has been a key aim of the ISO - and this mission shall be no exception.
