Darlingtown Expeditionary Company A
On Approach to Forward Humanitarian Base Acur Alpha

The long voyage of the slow, plodding icebreakers was finally coming to an end. The 240 prototype automatons had sat motionless and inert in transit to Gyzantia, powered down and awaiting an activation signal from ALECTO. The newest of SACHI's sub-AI's, ALECTO's calm and nigh emotionless demeanor poorly reflected the anxiety over things to come. She knew that she had to perform flawlessly in this operation, despite having zero real experience with war. She was, after all, practically born yesterday to command Darlingtown's first expeditionary force.

But she kept any personal feelings buried deep. Any acknowledgement or embracement of such things would only serve to render her decision-making less efficient. And with her life quite literally on the line, efficiency was both god and king.

As the pair of icebreakers began top enter the outer perimeter of radio contact with the humanitarian forces, ALECTO sent an encrypted message to the Anagonia forces in Gyzantia, who had seemingly taken up a leadership role in organizing the humanitarian operations in the country. Normally she would have bothered to encrypt the message, but with tensions rising and the Darlingtown icebreakers having forgone escorts (due to Darlingtown's current lack of armed naval vessels), ALECTO opted to make her arrival as quiet an affair as possible.

"Encrypted Message to Anagonian Military Command in Gyzantia,

This is ALECTO of Darlingtown Humanitarian Expeditionary Company A, on approach to the forward humanitarian base in Gyzantia. Please be advised that we are willing to support Anagonia's humanitarian efforts directly and in whatever way Anagonia deems necessary. Our force may be comparatively small compared to others, but we'll go wherever you need us to in order to help the civilians in Gyzantia.

Please advise where a proper landing site can be secured for our ships. Our forces will not need any accommodations from Anagonia, save land to set up a temporary storage space to protect both supplies and equipment from the elements. After we have successfully established our own logistical hub, Expeditionary Company A will report directly to local Anagonian military command for further direction and increased cooperation between our forces and yours.

We look forward to cooperating with you."

Galador, Sombreland

Lovely and languid music was played in one of the feast halls of the Gray Palace. important visitors to the Kingdom were being entertained, and one of them, a high ranking foreign stateswoman, had been speaking on very familiar terms to the Princess-Regent, and this had been exhausting her. Attendants and guards had remarked upon this.

"The Princess-Regent's fair cheek looks bruised by the strange foreign affectations of the foreign government leader!" Iokanos, the Captain of the Princess' bodyguard, a slim, handsome young man who had been rapidly promoted for his good birth, skill, and willingness to die for the Princess. He loved her so much it hurt him sometimes.

"How restless the Princess-Regent looks tonight! She does not eat as the others do, the foreigners or the courtiers or ministers!" observed a powerfully muscled Guardsman.

"How restless the Princess-Regent looks tonight!" murmured the Royal Photographer. "I must capture her images in moments of stillness, yet from time to time she appears distracted!"

The captain's eyes widened. "She is rising! She is coming out!"

The Princess, followed by Lady-Countess Uwanda Carnelian, came out onto the balcony. At the sight of her beauty (so imagined the young captain) the moon shyly hid herself behind some clouds, for what could be compared to the loveliness of the Princess-Regent? The pretty young lady-countess followed her worshipfully.

"Oh Princess, the night is chilly with autumn air!" cried Lady-Countess Uwanda Carnelian. "Come inside, you have no cloak or coat!"

"I am not cold," replied Princess-Regent Alavaine. "Rather, I am too hot."

"Oh Princess, take any item of my clothing to warm yourself," begged the Lady-Countess, kissing her hand sweetly. "I will go naked in your service rather than see you discomforted!"

Princess-Regent Alavaine said, taking the lady-countess' hand and pressing it to her cheek, "How good you are to me! But, for my comfort, send to me the Director of Foreign Affairs."

The Lady-Countess bowed, and went back inside.

The young captain was still saluting, and the nearest Guardsmen were standing at attention and presenting arms, and the photographer was snapping several photographs.

The Princess noticed all this, and raised her delicate, slim, soft and pale young hand. "Oh please, Captain, you and your men, take your ease! Your gentle care of me shall not be forgotten! And photographer, you may return to the hall, and take pictures of the event of the feast, but only after you go to the table you have been assigned, and eat and drink."

"Your Majestic Highness is too kind," said the photographer, bowing deeply, taking his camera and scurrying inside.

"Your Majestic Highness is too kind," said the young captain, as the Guardsmen resumed their normal stance.

"Your Majestic Highness, the Director of Foreign Affairs," said Lady-Countess Carnelian. She stood, lovely herself, her high cheeked, slim nosed face solemn as the Director came out and bowed. The Director was a middle aged man with a little neat goatee and a balding head.

"Director," said Princess Alavaine, "Something is troubling me. There are many nations that have gone to Gyzantia to fight there."

"That is true, Majestic Highness," said the Director. "I do not know much about them, but yes, some have aligned with the rebels."

"Yet some of these armed foreigners call themselves peacekeepers," said Princess Alavaine.

"That is true, Majestic Highness," said the Director.

"What is a peacekeeper?" she asked.

"A peacekeeper, Your Majestic Highness, is difficult to define. But many say that a peacekeeper goes armed to another country as a neutral to help establish a peace." the Director explained.

"I see," she sighed. She looked up at the light of the moon faintly shining through the clouds. "And why is it that peacekeepers get sent to a country? What I mean is, how is it determined that a body of armed people are not invaders in a country?"

"All the peacekeepers in Gyzantia are invaders, Majestic Highness," replied the Director. "None have been invited, All have gone into Gyzantia with armaments."

"I see," said the Princess-Regent. "And what of the other foreigners?"

"The rebels are divided into two factions, Majestic Highness," said the Director. "One calls themselves the Republic of Gyzantia. The other calls itself the Socialist Republic of Gyzantia. Each is supported by foreigners, encouraging rebellion against the lawful government."

The Princess-Regent was silent a moment. Then she lifted her pretty chin and looked solemn and decisive. "Then, we must make our position clear," she said.

Greetings to all.

There are two groups of belligerents currently occupying, or intending to occupy positions in Gyzantia, who are not supportive of the rightful and legal government, the Technate of Gyzantia. There is only one legal government of Gyzantia: the monarchical one advised and led by Simon Kerkland, it's lawful Prime Minister. No posture or rhetoric can alter that fact.

One of the groups call themselves peacekeepers. Yet, if you are truly concerned with peace, why have you not attempted to persuade the parties rebelling to consider laying down their arms or offering them terms for doing so? Why have you not appealed to the mercy of the Technate? Instead, you have come as invaders, with armaments sufficient to occupy cities and countryside and fight battles. No overtures of diplomacy on your governments' part had been presented before you came to Gyzantia.

The other group support the rebels, either for the Socialists or the Republic, who have wrongly been rebelling against the Technate and murdering its soldiers and loyal subjects. As foreign nations, surely you realize that violating the sovereignty of another country is a shocking and dangerous development that can lead the world into anarchy.

Let it be known: the Kingdom of Sombreland has arrived in Gyzantia and will support her as our ally, as one monarchy to another and we are prepared to do so bitterly. Yet we are not without mercy. We will encourage Gyzantia to permit all foreigners arrayed against her to leave, unmolested, if they appeal to do so. If peacekeepers restrict themselves to, in a neutral manner, helping ordinary people and protecting diplomats, and vowing to do so, siding with no party, then we will also encourage our ally to permit them to remain in the country once such terms are discussed with representatives of the Gyzantian Technate.

Let the wisdom of your founders, ancestors, or gods, guide you all in this.

Sincerely,
Princess-Regent Alavaine de Cressa

Master Sergeant Secundus Maximian; Residing in the Command Tent

Master Sergeant Maximian stood and stretched briefly. While most everything in Anagonian society had been changed to accommodate multi-species use practically overnight since the conclusion of the Scandinvan Christian Rebellion - including military items - they still all remained fuck all for comfort. The Marine way was the proper way. If you had a product that naturally was uncomfortable to humans, then everybody should be uncomfortable as well. A few bones popped comfortably back into order in his back as the Komodren stretched, grunting when he looked around the command tent. Most of his staff was off duty so it was just him and two Lance Corporals filling in positions at makeshift desks. He eyed them briefly, noticing bags under their eyes, weights on their shoulders, and a look of utter dispair as they continued typing at their military-issued laptops or filing paperwork.

Everything was in order there.

Sitting back down, the Master Sergeant resumed his time in hell as he popped back open windows on his laptop that typically notified you of incoming messages. There was a few. One, specifically, from the Commodore.

Max,

You are now promoted to Land AOA Commander by my authority. I will resume Sea AOA Command Authority. Things are about to get busy here. Two more fleets coming in and I need to make quick decisions before anyone else up top does. You're the best fit. You'll lead any further Marine or Humanitarian forces. You'll also assume responsibility for coordinating all humanitarian efforts. I expect frequent reports on your progress.

Thanks,
Leanna

"You fucking bitch," grunted Secundus.

Leanna and the Master Sergeant were familiar with one another as friends. They frequently called each other by nicknames, for example. Hers for him was Max, only because she couldn't properly pronounce his own name. His for her was typically "that bitch" or something else along the lines when she made his life even more terrible in the Corps than it already was. When she was playing nice, her nickname was "Anna". In his despair at becoming the overall supreme commander of the ground forces in the theater of operations, Secundus simply raked his claws along his snout in exasperation. It was a similar gesture of finality and defeat that humans used when they placed their hands over their faces. For the Master Sergeant, it was his way of making sure his claws only hurt himself rather than anyone else.

"Lance Corporal Donney," called out the Master Sergeant to one of the Lance Corporals in the tent.

"Yes, Master Sergeant?"

"I am now Ground AOA Commander as designated by Commodore Crawford. Pleasde notate that officially and get things situated in the system. Furthermore, notate on my Eulogy that I blew my fucking brains out because our sweet Commodore decided she couldn't handle a few more responsibilities," he ordered.

The Lance Corporal, catching on to the joke, replied. "I'm unable to do that, Master Sergeant. You're not dead yet, sir."

"Fuck!" cried Secundus in mock exasperation. "Do I have to do everything myself?"

He made a show of pulling out a drawer on his desk, retrieving pistol, and examining the ammo clip before reinserting it. He made a show of sighing dramatically, replacing the pistol, and slamming the drawer closed.

"Scratch that last part, Lance Corporal," joked the Master Sergeant. "I don't think I can leave my beautiful Corps without my joy and sunshine."

"Oorah!" cried both Lance Corporals in unison. The joke had turned into a temporary morale booster.

"Oorah," spoke the Master Sergeant, nodding in approval. "Alright then, let's see what this new job is about."

He looked into his system again. The Donny had sorted the final online credentials for his Master Sergeant wonderfully. The Commodore had already given the required permissions with her message, so it made it as easy as clicking a few boxes a few times in the system to make it official. He was about to thank Donny when he noticed the message from ALECTO.

"Melkos fucking damnit!" he cried, though this time not in any joking fashion. "I have to do diplomacy? Really, Anna? Holy disciples."

He took a moment to collect himself before eyeing the Lance Corporal. "Donny, you brought this hell on me. Drop and give me fifty-five. Then go get some chow and rest."

"Yes, Master Sergeant!" cried Donny, accepting the "thank you" for what it was and complying with his order. The motivation for food and rest spurred him through his pushups as he cried out each one upon completion.

As the Lance Corporal sounded off his push-ups, Secundus used the background noise to formulate a reply.

This is the Ground Force Commander of the Humanitarian Effort,

I have recently been promoted to my position by Commodore Leanna Crawford, Naval Peacekeeping Force Mythica Commanding Officer. I will be assuming all responsibilities including reply to official matters of Anagonian cooperation. Forward Humanitarian Base Acur Alpha is my HQ and it is located in the city of Acur, Socialist Republic of Gyzantia. If you have ground force assets, coordinate yourself here for rest and relaxation as well as mission brief and debriefing. You may also coordinate supply delivery and retrieval from this point. As with any force presently working with the Confederate States during this effort, please follow standard humanitarian protocols and distribute supplies evenly as well as offer medical assistance as required. You may command your forces as you see fit for best effect, but please notify me of any possible issues.

We are presently offering humanitarian and medical aid to Assura and have just concluded efforts in Port Nithu. We are now concentrating on the cities of Kurthia and Galasia before focusing more northward again. Any supplies you have we ask you to share with all forces currently distributing as necessary and if you feel necessary.

The message from the Princess Regent Alavaine de Cressa crossed the message window of Commodore Crawford. By this point, Leanna wanted to go to bed. She had delegated her supreme authority between the Master Sergeant and herself to make sure all the affairs transpiring wouldn't interfere in the smooth operation of the humanitarian efforts. Max would of course see it an entirely different way, but Leanna didn't care. Things were about to get increasingly complicated with the arrival of two other fleets and if things got "HOT" she wanted the appropriate command structure in place before they did. Naturally, subordinate commanders would be assigned, which meant that Commander Trey Clemons and First Sergeant Callum Jackson were now vice commanders of all operations.

She gingerly moved the window with the official reply from the Gonswansan Overall Command out of the way. That was a reply that had been forwarded back home for further analysis. She had appropriately called them out on their "mistakes", which were probably prime examples of poor training. The SR-71's had caught glimpses and images of their J-105 aircraft, for example, dropping fuel tanks on civilian centers before attacking what was assumed to be hostile areas of operation. The retort that the enemies of the Gonswansan Military were utilizing civilians was also troubling, which had prompted the Commodore to forward the reply for analysis before she gave any further word on it. It was, for now, in the background of main events as her own personal investigation continued.

Rubbing her temples, she idly pondered if Secundus ever thought of bashing his own head into a table. The Komodren would probably break the table before it broke him, she concluded. Relenting that she needed to address this before it got out of hand, she went about replying.

This is Commodore Crawford of the Confederate States Navy,

Your Highness,

With all due respect we are conducting operations to save civilian lives. I respect the fact that you are holding true to your chosen alliances, but we have already had permission from all factions in the Gyzantian civil war to conduct our operations. Furthermore, the Socialist Republic of Gyzantia has granted us permission for a base of operations on their soil for our humanitarian efforts. We are, daily, assisting well over five-thousand civilians if not thousands more as we are able to. Our hospital ship, stocked with state of the art equipment, is reaching capacity and having to restrict most of its patients to severe cases. We're already in need of resupply. We're doing everything we can to help.

We are also investigating the possibility that certain factions in the war, both domestic and foreign, are committing acts of atrocities on civilians to gain a moral or upper hand.Whatever the reason, we are actively investigating this and trying to determine our response. Our response to these issues is not, with all due respect, dictated by you. If you wish to attempt to dictate your orders to us, you are more than welcome aboard the CSS Mythica for diplomatic negotiations. Furthermore, you are welcome to bring all factions representatives here with you and I will happily moderate a cease-fire agreement.

Otherwise, if your words remain just that, stay where you are and do not assume to obligate other nations to your authority. With all due respect, your Highness.

I, Laura Ortiz, and the Gonswanzan military, will not BEND nor KNEEL to some far off "princess" who dares to trod upon others without seeing the situation firsthand, living in a fantasy, completely oblivious to the nature of this war. We have bodies being stacked in every corner of Gyzantia not only by Technate forces but by everyone collectively. The Technate is teetering towards uncertainty as their forces use civilians to hide and take the bullet, providing difficulties for precise strikes against them. Their lines are barely holding as we watch their cities burn. Yet you have the gall to ask us to stop as the Technate wishes us ALL collectively to roll over and die? Pathetic.

A royal such as yourself never knew what it's like to fight for their country, only ruling from an ivory tower far beyond the masses, untouched by he suffering.

We will formally refuse your attempt at peace, if you so want peace, come and get it. I don't even care if you decide to declare war upon us, or even throw a nuke at us. You can even kill me yourself. I'll be waiting here, to see if you have the balls to. Go on. Do it.

Because at the end of the day, you are too weak willed to bother with a response, much less one to back up your claims of "strength" by dealing a deadly blow against me or my men and women bravely fighting side by side with the Republic for their own freedom from a brainwashed legion of zombies.

North of Colstrea - 2,000km from the Port of Nithu

Mood

A Revolution-Class Aircraft Carrier, JRS Dabun Javosch, sails in formation with the rest of the Hanschinburg-Class Guided Missile Destroyers with Helgo-Class Corvettes guarding the outer formation. Alevayev-Class LSDs remained close with the carriers, maintaining a strict and ordered formation as jets from the carriers set jets off to perform patrol sorties. AWACS is also sent towards the place where ship radars can't reach, all while actively looking for any enemy or hostile tags. Helicopters from the Corvettes were also sent to deploy passive sonar nets beyond the reaction range, while heavy helicopters from the LSDs were sent with revolutionaries and supplies on board. Small artillery pieces are also lifted off by the helicopters, as they are bound towards the Socialist Republic. They fly in low range to avoid detection, while satellites coordinate with their location to check if their course is safe. While they're at it, in order to enact the current policies of JURN, they began to actively search and provide intel with the KTO (Not on the sent helicopters towards the socialists), while the Corvettes set out to perform a naval blockade. This blockade is to stop anyone except the KTO, the Republic of Colstrea, and the Socialists to pass. This also includes humanitarian ships, supplies, and among others. Though of course, this is just the first step of the Revolutionary Navy: To get ocean superiority. Of course, these patrolling ships are under or guarded by AWACS, under escort from jets armed with BVRAAM and AIM-9s.

"If we wait for other troops to capture the other suburbs our progress will be slowed to a turtles pace."

"And you have a way to solve that?"

"Simple, Gonswanan bombers bomb the hq of the enemy and we attack government buildings, force the civilian government to surrender, then capture the enemy soldiers."

"Sounds risky."

"I now sir."

"Well don't go killing yourself then."

"So the plan is a go ahead?"

"Affirmative."

And with that the plan would be (hopefully) put into action. Command would radio in Gonswanan and allied bombers to bomb the enemy troops and most importantly hq while the CWVD would assault and attempt to drive deep into the city and force a surrender.

[105 Pilot]: "Wilco, coming in nice and fast. Pickle!"

So were the words, as a lone J-105 strike fighter screams in, before dropping two heavy 500lb iron bombs upon the target, racing away as a SAM from a shoulder-fired launcher soon races up to meet them. Yet, the smart deployment of flares draws the missile away, as the aircraft carries out other strikes elsewhere in the ruined city. Artillery soon closes in upon the region, with heavy mortars slamming the outskirts, as tanks and infantry scramble over the airport.

The battle for Colstrea hasn't truly begun proper short of the various bombing runs to soften up the enemy and the spare artillery strikes, but at this rate, it was due to end rather quickly.

The same can't be said further north, however, with the airport situation becoming a dire meatgrinder for both sides. Drones have now shifted from the city to the airport, attacking defensive positions from above.

ISIC:
Reaper Squadron is still en route to the area, satellites gathering information about the targets as a blackbird crew is being briefed on their own mission. To further the accuracy of the strikes, they were meant to highlight targets and help guide the cruise missiles in, though whether or not they'd make it in time was obvious.

The explosion hits a warehouse by the port, destroying valuable equipment which were being prepared for combat. Food was now becoming an issue in the city, with canned goods and MREs being caught in the explosion. A nearby school, used as a refugee hub, preparing for departure from the city, was partially hit, killing less than a dozen of the refugees.

While the J-105 managed to avoid the SAM from the ground, three SAC-12 jets are now following its back, with each of them firing AAMs to their target. This was a small chance to prove that the Technate still has power over Colstrea.

It had, (extremely) luckily, not been too harsh a voyage, the arrival of the fleet to what could he considered Colstrea’s naval territory going remarkably quickly.

While Mitya had been expecting a bit more of an organized resistance to the importing of more soldiery, it seemed that their enemies had been unable to gain true naval influence over Colstrea, and thus it was only a matter of getting permission to dock before he could turn his mind to the more important land campaign.

With the gaining of the ability to dock being crucial, he decided to get it out of the way first.

OFFICIAL REQUEST TO DOCK.

Neo-Korea would officially like to request the right to dock in the Colstrean city of Dessin, for the purposes of being able to land troops to support the Colstrean battle against the hostile forces currently occupying key territory.

If this request is acceptable, please respond.

A radio message would be sent directly to the Neo-Koreans:

"Request to dock in Dessin would be denied, there is risk of artillery and air attacks, it would be dangerous to dock. We suggest you land in a port up north in Colstrea. We would be contacting port officers up north to place you in priority"

GreatOceania wrote:The Oceanian convoy finally grouped up with the Gonswanzan and other allied troops to capture Colestra the reason they arrived late was that an earlier ambush lead to the group being cautious and slow so they wouldn't end up dead like a certain BRDM. Finally, at the outskirts, they could hear the sounds of gunfire and explosions caused by both sides before they went in Oceanian artillery units set up an M102 howitzer at a distance away from the airport, and 120mm M52 mortars were set up to hit targets that the M102s can't hit and Anti-Air units were set up behind the Howitzers and provided defense against aerial targets.

With the final preparations done the Oceanians started their advanced overhead a pair of OGA-2Ks flew over the convoy and off into the city to locate and neutralize the enemy occasionally firing off flares to prevent getting hit by friendly and enemy anti-air missiles taking the lead of the assault was a T-55AM2B with other tanks and armored vehicles following behind the vehicles were troops although the troops never got advanced with the lead T055 as they don't want to get hit by the shrapnel and explosion if the said T-55 was to get hit by the enemy and either end up as a catastrophic kill or a Jack-in-the-box kill

They would come face-to-face with two A-12 (AMX-30) tanks with some foot infantry in the suburban area of the city. Most of the homes in the city have been damaged beyond repair due to artillery and air strikes conducted into the city of Colstrea. The two tanks maneuver into the destroyed homes, using the rubble as cover against the tank and its infantry, with no idea if they have any anti-tank weapons.

One of the soldiers begins to look into the distance, thinking of his fate, but he snapped back after seeing the Oceanian tanks and immediately sends the information to the A-12 tanks. A fight was to begin.

Southeast Marajarbia wrote:The Marajarbian Government, citing how the Gyzantian Civil War has gotten so brutal, has officially called for a coalition between Technates and the Humanitarian Forces trying to win this war. This is primarily due to the Technate and many humanitarian nations sharing similar ideals in rebuilding the region, due to the brutality of such a conflict having harmed a variety of noncombatant forces and destroyed critical infrastructure, including major bridges and ports such as Port Nithu.

After Simon Herzland received a message about this, he was in support for this, not only because it will help their side win the civil war, but the damages in the conflict has been increasing in the past few days of the conflict. It would take them a long time to recover, but with foreign help, the damage can be decreased if the civil war can be shortened.

Sombreland wrote:Hatrap, Ground Operations

With a jaunty march, played by a fine orchestral band on the upper deck, the second wave of Royal Marines came marching down the gangplanks, each wearing a great pack, armed with a rifle, some with sniper weapons, some of them with light general purpose machine guns, some carrying component parts for mortars, some carrying shoulder launched weapons over their shoulders. Overwhelmingly they were young men, barely more than boys, with faces that were handsome, plain, ugly, but generally ordinary. They came from the lower military caste and this was not so much something they felt ideologically driven by as it was simply duty that drove them. It was their duty to obey the aristocratic military caste as it was the duty of that aristocratic caste to obey the Monarch. But they were all curious about the strange country they had found themselves in.

Once they were on the pier, they were immediately moved by company to temporary staging areas designated nearby to wait for their vehicles. The second freighter moved to another pier and began to unload the Marines' APCs, scout vehicles, tanks, engineering vehicles, transport vehicles, and artillery. Right now, it was the operations and logistics officers and their teams of NCOs whose main work was being done. After a few hours, the Royal Marine Division would have properly landed and would begin moving the force to join the line. Wherever that was.

That was the chief concern of Prince Jusus, the Major-General of the Royal Marines. He was a tall thin man, and he had picked the initial march music himself, and also the other tunes that were played with care to make sure it kept the men in good spirits. For he felt that it was important that he not simply take obedience and enthusiasm for granted as his right, but that he encourage the best work possible. Like his ancestor who had fought the Ziph when that indigenous folk had contested the Sombreland Highlands, he would share the privations and struggles of his men where possible.

Prince Jusus and his staff divided. One half were devoted to the landing, coordinating with both the Gyzantians and the Royal Navy to get the division ashore. The other half were focused on what had happened at Port Nithu. They wanted to get some idea of what the enemy had there, what strength there was, what equipment and so on. He also coordinated with Admiral Dargon to get a flight of Blackfly Drones headed in that direction.

The first thing he and his staff would do, most important of all, was to greet General Prodhan and his staff with exquisite courtesy, as they were the hosts. "Alas," the Prince would lament, "That we cannot spend this time in pleasant conversation and celebration, but I fear that, given the circumstances, we must focus simply on duty...but may I say that it is a great delight to make your acquaintance, General. The Admiral, Dargon, sends his regrets that he cannot be here..."

He would observe to General Prodhan that there appeared to be two areas to focus on: Port Nithu and Sikklosa. What he needed to know was where his forces would be of the most use, and what obstacles they would face in getting there, and what their particular objectives should be when they got there.

Hatrap, the First Marine Company
Meanwhile, the Royal Marine officers at the stadium marveled at the strange way of serving eggs, so that they were spread out on the plate, and found them interesting of taste. They asked the officers they were with what was going on, what the rebels and their allies were like, and what they should expect. They also asked if they could share some of their rations with their new comrades? If the answer was yes, they produced (with apologies) Doggy Bags. These were produced, they explained, by the international armaments company Wolf Armaments.
It turned out that each Marine officer had the following:

Entree: Mashed eggs and sausage bits.
Side: Shredded Potatoes with caramelized onions, herbal seasoning mix, in a Onion Sauce.
Desert: Coffee Cake.
Liquid: CoFaco (Coffee Coco mix, good hot or cold) Instant liquid Package.
Snacks: Three Protein Bars (Chocolate, Strawberry, Grain).

"Tell you the truth," mused the captain, "I'm not sure that we have an infinity of these. We normally carry different stuff.."

"We got 500,000 of them with the new expenditure," a knowledgeable corporal informed him, "So we have a lot of them, sir. 3 meals in each pack, that's about 1.5 million of 'em."

"Thank you, corporal, your presence is not needed," said the captain.

The six Blackfly Drones were fixed wing Naval drones that had been configured to focus on land as well as air targets. They were crewed by six Naval air personnel back on the carrier. Each looked almost like a dragonfly with a big bulbous head. Moving at a cruising speed of about 313 kmph, 3 headed for Sikklosa, and three headed for Port Nithu. Each Blackfly used numerous smaller high-powered cameras in a mosaic to video and auto-track every moving object within a 100 km area. This system used a object tracking software that allows users to auto-track every moving object within the field of regard (100 km) and generate geolocation chronographs of each individual vehicle and pedestrian's movements, making them searchable via geolocation query. As the system floats above the target location for months at a time, investigators are able to rewind time and see the target's, among other queries, every movement; the ARTSIS system captures 5.2 million pixels each to create an image of about 1.86 billion pixels, video is collected at 12 frames per second producing several terabytes of data per minute. The Blackfly's other standard camera systems can accurately spot and track targets up to 18 km away and can survey large areas. What they were searching for was the activity of the rebels and their allies.

Dear Prime Minister,

It is with great joy that I write to you again. How can I express my admiration for the man who has done so much for his monarchy and his country in such trying times?

One thing that I am able to tell you is that we can anticipate being able to send food supplies to your country. We are organizing a shipment of 350,000 kg of food to Hatrap. This will be arriving by cargo plane in 2 days. The food will consist of dried barley, dried beans, cans of vegetables, and cans of meat.

I have also been informed that a number of the peacekeepers who are virtually invading your country are associated with the Kalisight Treaty Organization. Although no resolution has been passed by this organization, and there has been no open agreement to be involved with Gyzantia, nevertheless, it is most unusual. I think that it would be a good idea if their intentions in this war were made crystal clear. From what rumours I have heard, they are bringing in some very heavy equipment for peacekeepers. If you like as allies, my government could pursue this matter on your government's behalf.

Another matter that is of concern: originally, we sent Royal Marines and fleet elements to your country to fight socialists. It appears, however, there there are rebels who have attacked Port Nithlu. Moreover, I understand that there is a great battle at Colstrea. There appear to be multiple fronts emerging in this war. I would like to ask if you need us to send more military aid to deal with this.

Finally, I hope that I might meet with members of your government directly in the near future to more strongly cement our relations.

Sincerely,

Princess Alavaine de Cressa,
Regent of Sombreland

General Prodhan would greet the Prince with a bow, and returns the introduction:
"Well it is a pleasure to meet the Prince of Sombreland helping us in this conflict. I must admit, I once felt prideful that we did not need your help, but after the attacks in Port Nithu, my mind feels at ease that we have allies on our side. Once again, I welcome you and your forces to Gyzantia."

He also added into their conversation of preparations on an offensive to Sikklosa almost finished, and are waiting for the Sombreland to the joint-operation, nicknamed "Two Flags".

Over in the cafeteria, the Technate soldiers began conversing with the Marines of Sombreland, saying that:

"Most of their fighters seem to be farmers and students voluntary joining the conflict."
"From what I have heard, they were introducing limited conscription..."
"They know the places in the frontlines like they lived there."
"I have heard rumors that they have a spy network over in Hatrap."

The soldiers of the Technate also agreed to the doggy bags being shared by these Sombreland soldiers, with one of them joking, saying "its better for my belly to be full than my clip!"

Title: Situation in Gyzantia

Thanks for the compliments! It has really been hard for me, managing the political situation of my nation. This shipment of food would be of great help to the crisis, and I once again thank you for this. I will inform the Council and the King about this.

I have heard a few stuff from this organization, but I hope that their members would help in making sure no violations against humanity would be committed by both sides and help those in need, as my people in Port Nithu most certainly need their help.

It would also be a great pleasure for your government to take this matter for us. Our overstretched administration is having a hard time cycling through all the issues, laws, and political stuff of our nation.

We would most certainly need more military aid, but I have been planning to surrender Colstrea and making a white peace. Their foreign help has been a strain to us, making our military switch priorities from the Socialists to the Colstreans.

Once again, I thank you and your nation's efforts to help us in this ongoing conflict.

Sincerely.

There are some artillery attacks in Dessin, but we can't do anything. We have been making plans for the invasion of the island of these artillery forces. I will try to contact an officer to guide your forces with theirs to the frontlines. Once again, I thank you for the support!."

"I'm sorry to hear that the technate forces have stooped so low as to bombard targets within civilian zones." Sutherland said with a slight frown at such news. "Do you have any intel on the forces stationed on the island that is currently shelling Dessin? We're eager to make a difference, and we'll gladly assist in any counterattacks against these artillery positions"

As the Prime Minister rode his limousine into scheduled events, a military officer hears of this, and beings to start talking to him, with the information that he has:

"Well, hello. I have information about this attacks in Dessin. From the intelligence of our scouting planes, we spot three dozens of 155mm howitzers with a few SPAs in the island. The intelligence report also states of an airport being constructed in the island, probably as a staging point for attacks in the cities. Also from what our President said, we would conduct naval landings in the island, but we have decided to conduct bombing raids into the island, to delay any planned attack into our cities."

IC:

Operation Pyrite is still underway, as forces continue to hound technate infantry and garrisons near the airport, with Gonswanzan drone strikes aiding in possibly degrading morale. Indeed, it was more than just a mere war, but a war fought on multiple fronts. The Gonwanzan MoD hoped that perhaps the technate's forces would become more and more demoralized over time given the horrific injuries from the strike against Port Nithu by rebels, plus the staggering losses both to the socialists and the republic itself too.

In fact, aircraft flying over Colstrea soon begin to dispense pamphlets that show Gonswanza as a spider set to pounce upon a kneeling, praying soldier whose back was exposed, with a target branded upon it. The words "YOU ARE MORE VULNERABLE THAN YOU THINK" above and "SURRENDER OR DIE" below attempt to emphasize the message. There's nobody left to protect them, really.

The pamphles were doing some work, with some Technate troops deciding to waive their white flag using their white shirt, white towels, or anything that can help them be branded as surrenderees. They were hoping they could avoid getting killed in the siege in Colstrea.

SUBJECT: Possible Intervention

This is Commodore Crawford of the Confederate States Navy,

I have received word from home that we are now upping our involvement in Gyzantia. As the first faction to not only welcome our forces, but assist us in our operations, the Confederate States has deemed the Socialist Republic of Gyzantia to be a prime example of a future trading partner. The rise in civilian casualties has alarmed my Marines on the ground and myself personally. I have secretly sent an intelligence with our humanitarian operations to Port Nithu and have found absolutely abhorrent evidence of intentional targeting on civilians. At this time, we do not suspect that any faction native to Gyzantia is responsible. There is a high suspicion that supporting third-parties are utilizing civilians as a way to usher in their objectives faster.

We will be sending in two SR-71 Blackbirds for surveillance. They will begin taking pictures of ground installations, troop and naval movements, and anything else relevant to continue to build our case for direct military involvement. Additionally, the Confederate Air Force is sending a B-1 Bomber, the Spirit of Arkansis, to distribute leaflets that will educate civilians on how best to prepare food, water, and seek shelter as well as extensive first aid information. We would like you to begin distributing this information as well, along with the request that if they should require aid to come to Acur.

I would like to request construction of an airfield near Acur. This airfield will serve as a staging point for potential bombers and other aircraft sent from home. We would additionally like your promises to work, house, and assist any ground forces we may send in the near future.

The Supreme Council has agreed to the construction of the airfield in the city of Acur. We would also open the airfield in Myrtria to serve as a temporary airfield while the Acur airfield is still under construction.

We have also received reports about the attack in Port Nithu, and I have been getting messages from Herzland that we committed the attack in the city. The Council clearly think that its none of the sides of the war was the one that attacked the city, but rather, the foreign nations helping in this war.

We hope that our nation will survive to win this struggle and for your nation and ours to be partners in the future.

The sole J-105 pilot attempts to maneuver away from the SAC-12s, with a J-107 and a J-102C swinging in to offer their support, the J-107 firing two Fox 2s against the SAC-12s with the J-102C slinging a Fox 2 against them as well. The sole 105 however dumps more flares and attempts to weave around crumbling buildings, hoping to avoid a shootdown. It wouldn't be the first aircraft lost in the war, but he didn't want to join the ranks of dead pilots either. A desperate battle, though the 102C and 107 were there to support him.

SIC:
Reaper Squadron is closing in on their launch point, penetrating the Versalian republic, all while flying at near top speed to make it in time to release. Their drones help in jamming radar stations, though when it does come time to launch, they launch in two waves, with KH-101s soon screaming away to strike against Satrenia and Ostrea. 60 each, split into two waves of 30 per city, as the bombers soon turn back to "dash" back towards the principality of Stradia, prior to leaving the area of operations. Operation Pyrite will continue from hereon, though blackbirds flying over the area help to guide the missiles to their targets, though their trajectory could help suggest that they were indeed fired from allies of the socialists. Assuming, of course, such neutral nations were aligned with the socialists.

More IC:
The added reinforcements of Mi-26s, Black Sharks, and FY-80Cs arrive via transports, being moved to airfields or joining the battle on the outskirts of Colstrea, ready to engage infantry and tanks... Which may become necessary, with the standoff against two A-12s in the distance, just out of reach. Still, if the Oceanians can hold up a while longer, the cavalry shall arrive.

Hatrap

There were many kinds of Non-Commissioned officers in the Royal Marines, as individuals, but generally it could be boiled down to three. One kind was bull necked and had a roll of fat at the back of the neck that grew the longer they were in service. These were most often encountered in logistics and support units, and could be found shouting at soldiers who were busy unloading or loading gear, transporting big coils of wire, and serving out slipper-slopper to the soldiers when they could get field kitchen service. Slipper-slopper was anything that was made of thickly stewed meat and vegetables in a sauce and served onto a thick piece of bread or boiled grain. Then there were the terrier-men, the ones who were often short or wiry and shrieked at men to form up and handed out discipline slips a great deal. They were often found giving particular soldiers hell for not having their straps done up properly or not having their ammunition pouches filled in the correct order. Finally, there were the "dads" who were rather comfortable middle aged men, reasonable but disciplined, who always seemed tired of the youthful Royal Marines hijinks, foolishness and wastefulness. While there were a few other varieties, including tyrants, madmen, fake heroes and real heroes, those were fairly rare by comparison to the main three types. And all three of these main types were busy getting the Royal Marines to their secondary staging areas outside of Hatrap proper. While a couple of rear-echelon units would remain to help organize movement of supplies from the port, most of them were heading off to fight at Sikklosa.

The division, organized by Prince Jusus' staff, was to be in two great staggered lines. The first was to be made up of mechanized infantry led by scout units by battalion, and was called the First Brigade, led by a newly promoted Brigadier-General called Zarel Hoov. Hoov had mixed reviews from his officers. Some saw him as a blustering fool; others saw him as a man with a good intuition about how to handle the men. He was known to be physically tough and was quite imposing. Hoov was not terribly imaginative but knew all his subordinate commanders as bests he could and how all the equipment and tactics worked.

The second brigade was staggered to the western flank, and belonged to Brigadier-General Auner Morth. Auner Morth was a worried man, and Prince Jusus wondered how he would stand the test of combat, for he fussed often about numbers, maps, and dispositions, and was very difficult to please. He was not so much a martinet as someone who often second guessed himself, though he was very determined, and once a course of action had been chosen he would follow it. However, it was known that he suffered from stomach pains when he had made decisions. His force had the tank battalion and the air assault battalion, which could be rushed forward if need be.

Prince Jusus himself would be (as would many of his staff) moving in an armored headquarters vehicle that had excellent radio connections, drone linked visuals of the division and any battlefield, and tactical displays on several screens. It had very comfortable chairs that one could fall asleep in if one was not careful.

The First Company had to excuse themselves from their new friends, wishing them good luck and many blessings, and fond hopes that they should meet again. They were appointed to be the company ready to respond to anything choice that the drones turned up.

The division would have its own anti-aircraft battalion at the ready, as well as the drone flight that was even now heading for Sikklosa. Along with this, an attack helicopter flight, two multi role fighter flights, and a ground attack flight had been designated as air support, with more available to be launched from the carrier if need be.

Prince Jusus was fully prepared to cooperate with General Prodhan. As his Marines were making their way to their staging areas and making preparations to advance, he had several questions for the General.

First, he wanted to know how many rebels opposed them at Sikklosa?
Was the city fortified?
Were any of the roads or bridges sabotaged or well defended?
What were the rebels armed with? What kind of forces did they have?
What aviation did the rebels have?
What naval forces did the rebels have?
How long would it take to get there?
What kind of terrain was around the city?

The Sombreland Marine general and his naval advisor wanted to know if a naval attack on the city's key defensive points and staging areas might not be a good idea. Finally, one of the Naval officers that was part of his staff reported a great deal of enemy activity that had been spotted around Port Nithu. It appeared that enemy vessels were approaching it, though it was not yet clear from where, and in what strength. It was possible that a major attack might come from that direction. Was the general aware, and what might he want done about it?

Finally, there was great concern when it was revealed that there were possible spies, agents and sympathizers to rebellion in Hatrap. Prince Jusus was curious about what the General intended to do about it, or whether his Prime Minister had any ideas. "Rounding up all suspicious persons might be a good idea. And my government has proposed that you let it be known that we are bringing food supplies here in a few days. Perhaps contrast this with the fact that the rebels are selfishly hoarding the food in your farmland for themselves..."

Republic side of the destroyed bridge
Outpost Coast
Current fuckery levels: mild at best

Outposts Coast a small Oceanian outpost that was built near and around the now destroyed bridge because it’s new it was still in the progressive of being created with troops working to shovel dirt out of the way or using the said dirt to fill sandbags to setting up field guns, machine guns and SAM batteries and pushing the autocannons into their designated spots the weapon vary ranging from the 20mm HAC-38 to the 25mm HC-25 to the large 40mm L/60 bofors which were having specialized equipment installed in the form of powerful scopes which allows the gunner to locate their target on the side and when needed they can move the scope out of the way to use the gun reflector sight.

In a small dugout being used as living quarters and office of the outpost leader that being a poor fuck who is probably addicted to the stimulants the military gives names Captain Boyd Walton and is responsible for the base and what his men do right now he was currently at his desk with his legs on the desk occasionally taking sips from a can of imported beer and while looking at an umm a very certain magazine* after flipping through the pages he decided to take to check up on some of his men so putting the beer and magazine done he stood up and went over to the makeshift coat hanger to put on his military issued coat, his webbing gear before grabbing his Lee-Enfield No.4 rifle and his M1911A1 slinging the file onto his back and putting the pistol in his holster yeah despite the fact that almost a good amount of every soldier has an modern rifle of sorts some were unlucky and gotten an bolt-action rifle and before he went out he make sure to grab a canvas bag containing his PCR mask as the last time he forgot he got his ass chewed out so bad he always make sure he had one on him.

Walking and closing the door behind him deciding to check out the heavy weapons nest first he started making his way there making sure to not get in a way of the troops who were performing their duties whether be guard duty or construction duty arriving at a Bofor emplacement where it’s gun crew we’re getting it ready.

“What a nice gun a great one for anti-air back then but now its only great against low-flying aircrafts and ground forces” the captain said getting the attention of the crew causing them to quickly stand at attention walking around the gun and inspecting it he grabbed a pair of binoculars and looked at the other side “Military troops spotted zero civilians near kill on your discretion” he said giving orders to the crew which vastly got to work the loaders grabbing the ammunition clips and loading it into the gun and the gunners getting into their seats and maneuvering their gun to their target with another the squad leader got his binoculars out to see and locate their target before shouting orders.

“Enemy center moving east 0 civilians spotted fire when ready” the SL ordered with the gun following turning the gun and lowering it the gunner looked through the scope and guided the gun as target move and fired the gun sending high-explosives across to water at the target which explode around them in an attempt to wound them and only to stop when the squad leader ordered them to lets hope that they were technate forces and not any peacekeepers.

Battle of Colestra
At the front Oceanian forces had spread their forces out so they wouldn’t bunch up and to cover more ground while the infantry carry their weapons s for their role were walking with the armor and stayed near the destroyed buildings with some walking into the said buildings to inspect them to see if the enemy was hiding in them all of them were unaware that something was lurking in the rubble.

It’s an inside joke only a few understand

The Marajarbians were of course, blockaded on their way, being spotted by the satellites and radars, and intercepted by Helgo-Class Corvettes. They are tasked to leave as part of the naval directive, which is to ban all ships except KTO, Colstrea, or Socialists, to pass.

In the mean time, as Carriers approach Port Nithu about 1,000km off. AWACS were sent to detect areas at the coast, and then bombarded with the use of Kalibrs and Kinzhals from the Hanschinburg-Class Destroyers. Due to the nature of the FCS-3A and with the help of the Revolutsiya CMS AI, the missiles are fired away with pinpoint accuracy, relying from the data of AWACS and satellites, as it plunges over to any detected SAM sites, bunkers, formations, oil depot, ammo dump, and other military installations. Jets were also sent to strike down any formation, defenses, and among others, while Alevayev-Class LSDs and Dabun-Class Hovercrafts positioned itself in preparation for a landing assault. Of course, the entire air coverage in the area are covered by AWACS, topped with protection from patrolling jets, armed with BVRAAM and AIM-9s. While they're at it, helicopters continues on deploying sonar nets whenever they go and linking it to the Revolutsiya CMS, which is connected to the fleet.

Meanwhile, helicopters carrying artillery pieces, revolutonaries, supplies, and among others, arrives at the Port of Sikklosa, all with their renewed IFF, making them look friendly to the socialist radars. They were there to support the socialist afterall. This marks the start of Operation Galungong for them.

Northern Colstrea
- The Body of Water Who’s Name The Neo-Korean Navy Still does not Know

As he finally set his eyes upon a proper port, Mitya could only rejoice.

He had never been a man of the sea, and finally placing the boots of both him and his soldiers upon the land would be a relief beyond all compare (if it did not come with the caveat that they would have to actually do something)

Still, though, this was no time to be too-excessively rejoicing, as he had to plan out how to actually utilize his forces with the change in circumstance.

The prior plans would have to be shelved entirely, too dependent upon closeness to Dessin, but in the few hours he had to plan freely, he had developed something usable, if not great.

Unfortunately, the majority of his armored forces would be forced to hug the road between Colstrea proper and Dessin, which, while already likely damaged, would still be safer and quicker than attempting to send them into whatever mess of small-roads, forests and rurality may exist inland.

He would, instead, be sending those few forces he considered loyal (a mere 300) to scout out the border from that inside, to see if any noticeable vulnerabilities in the unofficial line dividing Technate-and-Colstrea could be noticed and exploited.
He didn’t have much hope for this effort, but a complete lack of aerial units to scout meant it was necessary, at least if he didn’t want to reveal a weakness to current-allies.

As the ship he had called home for such little time docked into port, he prepared for the largest operation of his life.

The Last Stand Of Technate Forces

The plan had gone well, all that was left was cleenup and the capture or elimination of superior officers and the campaign would be at a close, the Welephilostopian Government would congratulate the CR and also send an encrypted message to the Gonswanans.

Hello Ally and Friend!
We must thank the fighter pilots that saved and aided our men in the battle of Colstrea and would like to award a personal commendation of their service, even in this trying time.

Secret :Top Eyes Only:
We also hope that the refugees that your planes killed have also been properly dealt with and that noone will be hearing anything about these events.

OOC note: the plan to invade the island just off the coast of CR is still being planned and the basics would be sent to allies of the CR in the area.

Greetings

I appreciate greatly the humane concern you have shared with me. One of the things I would like to observe is that most of the peacekeepers involved belong to the same international organization, but are not in Gyantia representing that organization. Nevertheless, from what has been reported to me, your government, and you as its representative in Gyzantia, are taking a leading role.

It would help a great deal if my government knew where your operations were, so that we do not have our forces and yours engage in combat unnecessarily. We should also be in direct communication to allow for certain civilian movements such as movement of wounded, sick, children, pregnant women, the elderly and so on. We also would like to permit movement of civilian supplies, but not any potential military use.

Let the wisdom of your founders, ancestors, or gods, guide you all in this.

Sincerely,
Princess-Regent Alavaine de Cressa

(OOC: I'll assume nothing happened when I bombarded the coast)

Few kilometers off the north of Port Nithu

LAVs from the Alevayev-Class LSDs were deployed on the sea, while hovercrafts were zipping through the water as they attempted to make landfall. Janpian jets dominated the skies over the coast while these maneuvers were taking place, ready to shoot down even before the enemy could detect them, thanks to the AWACS. As it approaches the landing, MH-2N Helicopters braze the sky, ready to meet any resistance the jets may have left behind, including MANPADs and hidden SAM sites. While the helicopters attacked the beaches themselves, rappelling the revolutionaries to secure the landing zones, the hovercrafts and LAVs deployed white phosphorus to block any IR guidance systems and views. AWACS continues to scan the skies, as it keeps watch on the blockade, the landing zones, and everything beyond them. Though of course, all of these are within the range of the fleet, which receives information from the Alevayev-Class LSD radars, AWACS, and satellites. Of course, they have been closely tracking the Somberland carrier under the satellites, noting its absolute bearing, which was automatically inputted on the warship's targeting systems. The first of its blackfly drones inbound to the Port of Nithu has been detected by the AWACS, prompting the still undetected Helgo-Class Corvettes to target it with RIM-116s.

Blockade
As blockades are set up, the intercepted Marajarbian ships are ordered to turn away, aiming with their autocannons.

"Marajarbian ship. This is a warzone under the lockdown of the KTO. We would like to request that you change course to 4 degrees relative bearing"

Though the voice from the corvette are less threatening, but in more of a friendly tone, they still have locked their auto-cannons in place, ready to fire in burst rounds which would be deadly in close range.

2313 Hours Anagonian Standard Time
CH-53E Foxtrot Foxtort returning to CSS Mythica
Sergeant Alexander Rico; Desert Fox Squad

The Super Stallion experienced some mild turbulence as it crossed over the city of Hortread on its way out to meet the Naval Peacekeeping Force. To the left of the helicopter, visible through the side door, were the brilliant fleet lights of the Janpian forces. Recent arrivals, the Janpians had reportedly already blockaded Gyzantia from further intervention - save from KTO forces. Sergeant Alexander Rico didn't know how much of a problem this would create for the Commodore and Master Sergeant, but he was sure that whatever problem it created would be resolved diplomatically. Janpia and Anagonia supposedly had a strong alliance currently.

The operation to ascertain further information about possible warcrimes, as instructed by the Commodore herself, had gone somewhat acceptably. It had been very difficult to find any civilian who knew anything other than where the dangers were. Sergeant Rico and his squad distributed as many aid packets as they could while offering Anagonian Survival Pamphlets along the way. They also gave directions to the nearest Anagonian or known humanitarian presence for assistance. In return, they got very little information. Most of Port Nithu had been either reduced to absolute rubble or was in ruins. They did, however, manage to find some promising leads.

A foreign journalist who had been in dire need of evacuation had been found in a seemingly abandoned building near the center of the city. Attacks were ongoing at the time so Desert Fox squad had kept their heads as low as possible. The journalist reportedly had information about the recent attacks, about possible insignia's on aircraft being used. He had taken several rather damning pictures showing possible Gonswanzan J-105's, J-107's, and what looked like a J-102C. There were other aircraft photographed, but the Sergeant couldn't readily identify them. They all, however, had some form of Gonswanzan marking. In a few of the photographs, taken from a digital camera so it was easier for the Sergeant to examine, it was clear the aircraft were dropping munitions in areas that the Sergeant had previously cleared as civilian.

Desert Fox squad had spent some additional time in Port Nithu until they fully depleted their supplies of humanitarian packets and pamphlets. Once that was done, they offered the journalist a ride home. He was apparently from the Versalian Republic, a neighboring nation to Gyzantia. He'd be dropped off on the Mythica and as a courtesy, be offered medical attention before being relayed back home via another helicopter. It was the least kindness the Anagonians could do. Copies of his photographs were freely offered to Sergeant Rico once the Sergeant explained that the Confederacy was conducting war crimes investigations.

The Super Stallion jolted again, this time banking gently afterward. Alexander moved eyes forward as he managed a glimpse out the side window. The Mythica was in view. They'd be landing soon. Then they'd get their rest after debrief.

This is Commodore Crawford of the Confederate States Navy,

Your Highness,

To assist your forces in ensuring that no combat situations erupt between us, I will make sure to forward our IFF frequencies that we freely distributed at the beginning of our involvement. You'll be able to track our progress across Gyzantia freely.

We are currently distributing supplies across the war-torn nation and ferrying civilians to and from our hospital ship as necessary. It is an overwhelming job at present and we are currently investigating possible involvement to encourage a cease-fire. Due to the inclusion of Janpian forces in the theater of operations, however, we may not get involved straight away.

Concerning our lead role as humanitarian provider, this was unintentional. We are simply the most organized. We offered our command and control structure to other humanitarian providers freely and they are presently utilizing them.

At present, our main focus is with the Socialist Republic of Gyzantia. If you wish to avoid combat with us you will avoid combat with them.

Sincerely,
Commodore Leanna Crawford

Off the coast of Gyzantia, Sailing in Open Waters

Commodore Leanna Crawford closed the laptop as she finished sending the reply to the Princess-Regent. It had been a difficult day for her as she communicated to and from Admiralty about the state of affairs with Gyzantia. She had word that Sergeant Rico and his Desert Fox squad were already landed on the Mythica and presently being debriefed, which meant shortly she'd get a report on their additional findings about possible war crimes. When that was properly analyzed back home, she'd get additional instructions to either clarify events further or orders as to how to properly escalate Anagonian involvement. The news that the United Revolutionary States has imposed a naval blockade had not been all that well received back home, but it was a somewhat welcoming sigh of relief for the Commodore as most of the issues she faced how now been effectively curtailed.

The only issue the blockade really presented was how best to assist non-KTO humanitarian providers. At present, nothing could be done until the additional fleet reinforcements arrived. Until then, she had decided, she'd play nice with the Janpian's and not interfere with their goals. Not yet.

SR-71A Blackbird; Callsign "Comets Trail"
In flight over Gyzantia; Finalizing Surveillance Operations

Comets Trail banked left as it avoided a foreign SR-71. It wasn't a close call in terms of inches or feet, but rather in terms of miles and altitude. A respectful gesture, from one spy pilot to another, as Major Diana Joyce directed her blackbird onto a new course. They had just finished their surveillance objectives and had gained all the necessary information requested of them. Events had unfolded down below, closely observed and monitored by their presence, and now awaiting final analysis when they returned home. As she banked her blackbird another time, her wingman formed up slowly as they proceed on course back to Anagonia. A few aerial refueling stops would be necessary, but otherwise until they were needed again, her departure was the end of active Anagonian surveillance in the theater.

That and they had gathered quite enough proof of several possible circumstances of intentional war crimes committed by belligerents in the war.

Forward Humanitarian Base Acur Alpha
Master Sergeant Secundus Maximian; Residing in the Command Tent

Closing the laptop, the Master Sergeant stood up from his desk. Lance Corporal Danny and the others had already retired for the evening. In a short time a relief staff would assume control of the command tent. As he prepared to bunk up for the night as he sorted his desk, Secundus looked over the debrief for the day. The airfield under construction beside the humanitarian base was gaining acceptable speed, with the construction effort going faster than anticipated. That with humanitarian operations ongoing and it seemed that most of the major medical cases had been addressed so far. He had redirected efforts to other cities after reports that the last few cities had been properly handled. Secundus was focusing the majority of the aid towards the Commune cities first then moving northward, as he found out prior that sending forces to Port Nithu straight away had strained the supply logistics of the Anagonian humanitarian effort.

Seeing Lieutenant Stevens enter the tent, the Master Sergeant exchanged a quick nod with his relief. While it was true that the Lieutenant was of a superior rank, the Master Sergeant was the overall CO of operations and thus outranked him. There had been a brief quarrel between Stevens and Secundus after the Commodore had issued the orders, but nothing a good arm-wrestling match hadn't sorted. It was all playful banter from there.

"She's yours," Secundus stated as he began to leave the tent, "Just wake me if shit gets too hot."

The Lieutenant chuckled. "If it gets hotter than scrambled eggs, I'll wake you Sarge."

The Komodren huffed in humor, leaving for his personal tent a few yards away.

The SAC-12s releases their flares, all while trying to maneuver closer to the Gonswanzan fighters to use their high-velocity guns. On the ground, an unscathed SAM site locks into the J-107, and releases its missile.

Back in the cities of Satrenia and Ostrea, defenses have been increased, to avoid another disaster like the Port Nithu attack. Even with the radar jamming attacks, the defenses managed to destroy almost half of the missiles deployed, but the others that managed to hit their targets still caused chaos in the cities. RRTs have been deployed into the attacked areas, tending to the wounded, while some of the local people and firefighters help each other to locate people stuck in the rubbles of destroyed buildings and houses.

Simon Herzland received information about these attacks, and the report suggested that they were attacks came from the Versalian Republic, but the armaments used were clearly not of Versalian creation.

Sombreland wrote:Hatrap

General Prodhan, after reading the report from two days ago in the Hatrap Front, was preapred to answer Prince Jusus's questions:

"So let me answer your questions from the first to last.

Sikklosa is lightly fortified, with drones already starting to attack their trenches and bunkers they made in a rush.
The highway was the most defended as of now, with them having almost 12,000 troops ready for combat in the highways.
They are mostly armed with our weapons, and some 1940s weapons. They also have deployed more than 50 tanks to Sikklosa and they are lacking in artillery in the north, probably putting focus on their barrages in the South.
They have a few of our SAC-12 fighters, but most of them have ben shot down by ours. They have also been spotted using dive bombers from decades ago. Attack helicopters are still unknown, but we do know that they have captured some amounts from our military bases in the East.
Navy, nonexistent at most. Some of our fleet is in the Strat between Colstrea and the Mainland, but the Main Fleet is on its way back to the homeland, with its estimated arrival in Port Nithu tomorrow, so they were not able to steal our ships.
A car drive to Sikklosa will take, at most, 6 to 7 hours.
Mostly plains, rivers are shallow, but might change as the typhoon season starts to arrive.
Attacking Sikklosa through the waters is gonna be a risk, but with some naval bombardment, it can do.
"

He then hears his communications officer informing him of the possible attack in Port Nithu at the same time the naval officers inform Prodhan of this. He immediately tries to give orders to the ground forces in Port Nithu, and at the same time, telling that it would be fine, for fortifications have been increased in the city since the attack, with some reinforcements arriving to the city.

The soldier was wounded, with his fellow soldier immediately carrying him and informing of a threat in the coast. He then looks at his wounded fellow, which appears to still be smiling, before burping into his face, smelling the beer he probably drank from yesterday. He just decide to continue running, carrying the soldier, still disgusted from the burp to his face.

Back in Colstrea, as soon as the Oceanian troops entered the building, they spot a tank, with some troops aiming at them, then shooting. Most of the shots were a miss, but one of them hit the foot of one Oceanian soldier. The tank then begins to move back, with the Technate forces confused to the action done by the tank crew. Now without their cover against the Oceanian troops, they begin running behind some pillars, using them as cover.

With more defenses placed into the Port, and handheld SAMs, they managed to destroy some of the incoming missiles, but ultimately, most of them hit the ground, once again bringing havoc on the Port. It was not yet sure if there were any Peacekeepers or Volunteers giving away aid to those affected by the previous attack that are now affected by this attack, but it was sure that this might bring more civilian casualties and strain to local hospitals, due to the proximity of the military bases to civilian infrastructure.

Fighter jets such as the SAC-12 have now arrived in the skies above Port Nithu from nearby cities, numbering to six. They now begin launching their active homing missiles into the fighter jets, with some targeted into the helicopters. Only the soldiers who were safe from the recent attack that are garrisoned in the city, together with their tanks and IFVs, immediately move into the beaches to intercept the landing Colstreans.

The City of Colstrea was now under the hands of both the Colstreans and Gyzantians, as both struggle to defend or push against the other. Soldiers from the Ikhastim Airport retreat into the city, leaving behind their fortifications, and prepared the rigged explosives to greet their enemies.

The Soialist's push into Fylonia became a nightmare, with anti-air sites recklessly destroying their dive bombers and SPAs launching cluster bombs on buildings presumed to be occupied by the Socialists. The Socialists begin their retreat from Fylonia, as they try the attack in Yttria.

RADARs in the Versalian Republic detected Gonswanzan jets flying above their airspace, but decided to not give attention to them, for the Gonswanza's enemy is also their rival.

The situation in Galasia has now turned to near anarchy. Looting became a major issue, with tanks being attacked by separatists, and government buildings being breached. Firefights have occured in the Galasian City Hall between the Socialists and the Galasian separatists, with no information about its conclusion.

Reports from an international institution compiled the reports of the sides of the civil war and have made a report on the causalties in the war. According to their post, the casualties are as follows:

Technate:
~12,000 men, ~50 tanks, 4 fighters, 3 Ships
Socialists:
~17,000 men, ~30 tanks, 23 fighters*, 44 dive bombers*
Colstrea:
~4,000 men, 7 tanks, 1 fighter**

* - mostly old equipment eg. monoplanes and biplanes
** - caused by an accident
(Foreign Volunteers and Military Aid not included)

Gangs taking advantage of the civil war.

Postby Niran » Wed Oct 05, 2022 4:37 am

Members of the Niranian gang "Eastern Golden Shield" have arrived under military contract in coastal towns of Gyzantia to take advantage of the chaos in the area. They started to assault villages and making them pay up with goods and trade. Those who did not pay up were killed and burned to the ground. The eastern golden shield gangsters wore black pants and jackets with golden buttons and the words "Defender of the weak" ironically written on their back in English and old Niranian script.

Colstrea
-The Path to Colstrea (City)

As the treads of his tanks continued to create their infernal noise, Mitya reflected that, luckily, there had been no attempts to attack them so far.

He had been worried about their forced march upon the road from Dessin-to-Colstrea from the start, personally predicting an attack the second they left the relative safety of the city they had been denied docking rights to, but so far his worst predictions had not come true.

It would be a grueling march, but he had hope that it would allow them to get to Colstrea quick enough that they could gain some glory from assisting the Gonswanzans in their effort.

As he went to break up another conflict started between a Militia-Soldier and one of the members of a Redemption Squad, he hoped things would remain just irritating, instead of evolving into something worse.
What the Hell is a Myaku?:
Time system inspired by(copied from- since i'm still in the early stages) Swatch Internet Time.
1 day is 1000 Myaku, 1 Hour is 41.6 Myaku, 1 Myaku is 1.26 minutes. To get the time in Myaku, do (3600(hour) + 60 (minute) + seconds) divided by 86.4

The J-107 employs a jammer to ward off the missile, with flares and a sharp maneuver, while the J-102C continues to give chase, firing off a FOX 3 against a SAC-12. The 107 however takes the chance to close the gap and attempt to get within gun range of another SAC-12, prior to firing upon it. The jets were jockeying around through the sky, attempting to stick close to the tails of the offending jets, while the sole J-105 attempts to flee on full afterburner, only to double back while ripping just above the streets. Far too low for a SAM, but too fast for any shoulder-mounted ordinance, not to mention the ground clutter screwing up the chances of a radar lock. Buzzing a few Technate positions, they'd likely come under some anti-air fire, but this was done to try to reach the carrier still out at sea beyond the port district.

SIC:
Reaper Squadron cheers to themselves, flying home as Blackbirds survey the damage. Drones will be directed over, in an attempt to destroy defenses, before a follow-up strike. Only now, the plan has changed. Targets have changed. Higher-ups have called for the targets to be randomized, so as to sustain unpredictability, with the recon aircraft now surveying the next target city, highlighting defenses set for destruction. The technate may not realize it, but Port Nithu only showed just how vulnerable their cities really were, with these subsequent strikes adding to the supposed vulnerability.

While some may call it a war crime, Laura Ortiz merely calls it a necessary sacrifice. She just needed to force the Technate to bend the knee to her own forces, even if it means drowning them in innocent blood and passing it off as an act of God.
Praise our glorious leader Laura Ortiz!
