Short bio: Being an aromantic asexual female has its own blessings and curses, and Governor-General Annika Dimasalang has known perhaps too much of both. Born to a struggling family during the years leading to the 4th Civil War, Annika Jane, or AJ as she is known, she had to struggle with lovers on her tail and soldiers going after her head, as her parents, themselves underground propagandists for the rebels, moved around quite often. Fate eventually made the soldiers kill her parents, but Annika was spared of the trouble of death. At the tender age of 22, she became a platoon leader in perhaps the worst-performing platoon in the entire brigade, but with her rather gung-ho leadership turned it into an effective fighting force. It is to say nothing of the long trail of lovers' guts she broke, having lacked any romantic or sexual feelings towards them - and for that, she has been exploring aromantic asexuality as the reason, and she makes sure her regular visits to the AVEN website through her work computer aren't logged.

You may have noticed a pattern where so many Palmyrians here are falling into the asexual/aromantic portion of the sexual/romantic spectrum. Either they're asexual, gray-asexual, or demi-sexual; on the romance side, they are either aromantic, gray-aromantic, or demi-romantic.
