To:Monoff
From:Hal Newton

We implore you to either allow minorities to practice their religion at least, though preferably with seperation of church and state to prevent the government from forcing religion on its people. In any case, we will gladly accept ANY refugees that want to leave Monoff.

Sincerely,
Hal Newton

Most the population was Nazarene. Belovika came on the TV. “Men, Woman of Monoff. This is a horrible action by foreign devils. I declare that we have no choice but to fight this.” Kleav then walked in front of the cameras. “I declare that Monoff can deploy Militias to aid Monoffian soldiers in keeping the other religions of people in are nation.”
You could hear Monoffians cheering.

Seeing as The Militzarized State shows a distinct unwillingness to comply with international pressure, The Most Serene Republic feels it only necessary to place a Human Rights Blacklist measure upon all Monoffan goods and services, comprising of the distribution of letters of marque to all local branches of the People's Soviet Militia, legalizing and encouraging the attack, seizure and sinking of all Monoffan flagged vessels within Avenese territorial waters.

If you will not let refugees leave your country, then we advocate for their rights as human beings. Hearing this,my Cabinet has applied a full tade embargo and condemnation in hopes that Monoff will comply. Monoff began its largest independent military build up since Worlds war 2. People were lined up for miles at recruiting stations. Mostly Nazarene Christian. There was to the amazement of most Monoffian a large amount of people from other religion joined. Mostly for the pay. Soldiers were deployed to maintain control over cities. Militias from Villages joined soldiers and the borders of Monoff became Militarized.

OOC: The borders? There are already soldiers within your nation.

The South East Europe soldiers within Monoff took this as an act of hostility and aggression. They began engaging any and all military personnel and property. Any Catholic they got to who wanted to get out of Monoff was given an airlift to South East Europe. One of the worlds largest fights for freedom had begun. Military patrols were closing in on the major cities of Monoff.

ooc: comment on southeast europe. Do you know how long it would take to mobilize 30 million troops, even at DEFCON 1? Months, even years with a modern military. the US had 5% in the military in the 1940's. That is in no way a viable example now. Technology and expenses have skyrocketed since then. Gone are the days of pumping fighters off the assembly lines every couple minutes. Gone are the days where a tank cost 450,000 (adjusted for inflation). Deploying a military that large would take a massive amount of time. In Militarism be Damned, I've only been able to deploy a little over 450,000 men, and its been a whole month. 30,000,000 would be like the U.S. saying its entire military (including reserves) was already on a boat towards China, and would arrive soon. It just can't be done.

South East Europe has spent virtually all of it's military funding to deploy all of the soldiers and will not be funding any other aspect of this war. There will be no extractions of any soldiers, only extractions of innocent Catholics. $118,000,000,000 would be able to do this.

occ: he may have meant 30.000.

Outside of Monoff those who have fled the country have adapted to their new lives, however several groups and in some cases, organizations are petitioning the governments of their respective countries to move against Monoff. While most of these organizations are considered radical and extreme, they along with the actions of South East Europe, do put a sharp edge on the threats of violence.

The South East European soldiers were ordered to avoid engaging any church unless necessary. Any tanks that The South East European soldiers came across outside of the major cities were taken by force and used by The South East European Military. By this time, over 50,000 Catholics had been brought into South East Europe.

The radio blared to life “loyal Monoffian soldiers. We will fight till the death. If you ever ditch tanks or other military equipment destroy it before you go. We don’t want these foreign devils using them against us.” A tank commander opened the hatch a saw South East Europe soldiers coming. “Retreat or you will be fired upon.” He yelled

I'd like to point you to these three threads:

OOC: First of all, those threads have nothing to do with the ability of my nation. Second, over 100 thousand helicopters that can each hold 20 soldiers going back and forth over the course of a half day to a few days would get 30,000,000 troops there. US in Iraq does not compare to my nation deploying troops at all. I started deploying the soldiers before he even declared war. They were originally to help Catholics seeking asylum get into South East Europe and the large number of soldiers is to make sure all goes as planned. If you read every post I have made thus far, that is exactly what has been done.
