Wilkerson Secretary of the OECD 2201 C St NW Washington, D.C., Allied States Greetings, Firstly, I would like to thank all of the member states of this organization that have submitted their votes to place me as Secretary of the OECD. We gratefully accept this vital post and solemnly swear that we will do all that we can to adequately serve the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and further the goals and interests of all her member states while ensuring viable economic growth. As we take on the responsibilities to which we have been tasked, we bring to light that at this present moment three nation-states have submitted applications to join the OECD, and prepare to accept the transmissions with the appropriate decisions of the electoral council governments shortly, in order to quickly compile the necessary graphs and determine whether specific members have been approved or disapproved. Once a majority has been reached on the decision of the status of an applicant, we shall notify the Organization and the respective state of the decision the Electoral Council has taken. Once again, we wish to thank all of the members of the Organization and vow to use this post to its fullest and ensure the continued success and rapid growth of all OECD member states. Thank you. Wilkerson Secretary of the OECD Chateau de Ferrieres St. Louis, Mizialand Greetings, The intent of this missive is to inform both the Republic of Tierra Azure and the Raven Corporation of the decision that the Electoral Council of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development has taken, regarding the status of your respective applications to become officially-represented members in the Organization. As such, the Department of the Secretary of the Organization hereby announces that both the Republic of Tierra Azure and the Raven Corporation have been approved and now form a part of the Organization’s roster. The Council also accepts the nominations of Mike Nestor Legarda and Iziz Zion as the representatives of the aforementioned states, respectively. Rooms have been assigned to the representatives in the Secretariat. We anxiously await the arrival of your representatives. Thank you. Have a pleasant day. Sincerely, Michelle A. Wilkerson Secretary of the OECD |
Following the recent admission of two more members into the Organization, the OECD has compiled a list of donors of funds to the Organization’s treasury, of which shall be used – as explained in the Charter of the Organization – in situations where the OECD’s General Council approves of a loan to other nation states – whether members of the Organization or not – in order to assist them in their fiscal and development needs. At this present time, the Treasury of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development reports that funds stand at approximately US$8.04 billion, donated by three members of the Organization. We encourage all members of the Organization to continue their donations to allow the Treasury to be more flexible in its attempts to give financial assistance to those nations who direly require it. |

"UNUS PRO OMNIBUS, OMNES PRO UNO"Circular1. As you might have noticed, the data presentation on the roster has been modified. The data has been imported from NS tracker which means it will get updated automatically. This has affected the alignment of the text but I will improve that by weekend.
2. In order to make the activities of the O.E.C.D. more meaningful, we could make up an IC thread wherein members can post (ICly) about various issues pertaining to the organisation, global economy, suggestions for improving the organisation etc. In this manner, member's participation can also be monitored.
3. Members are requested to post their views on the aforementioned point. Any suggestion for the same are most welcome.
4. Members are welcome to post resolutions or amendments to the Charter, if they feel that something in the organisation can be improved. Resolutions can also be introduced for other purposes, such as providing aid to members or a third nation, imposing embargo on a region or nation, commending or condemning a nation, region or another alliance etc.

2. Have IC threads as needed--conferences and meetings and have one per topic, hosted by countries on a rotating basis. I'd suggest also linking to those threads in the OP.

By IC, do you mean a discussion thread? Where our representatives would convene via VTC?

1. That does seems like a good idea.
2. The Charter does specifies that all members and observers of the OECD will meet once in every 2 years (RL time) i.e. we will organise some sort of summit or convocation. What I meant by an IC thread was a discussion thread where "representatives would convene via VTC?" Some NS organisations have it (like the ponies one and TLIN). The "IC Thread" could be organised on similar lines.
