Shock Coup In Morrdh!

MORRDUN - Reports are leaking out of Morrdh that during the early hours a coup aimed at toppling Her Majesty Queen Lothwyn Boudica II took place.

Those behind the coup are believed to be led by the exiled Prince Victor, the Queen's uncle and brother to her father the late King Alfred. It is suspected that Prince Victor intends to take the Morridane throne after being denied a regency after the death of his brother when Queen Lothwyn had yet to reach the age of 18. Though the Queen's whereabouts are presently unknown.

However it is know that Prime Minister Edmund Vermillion and much of his cabinet departed the Morridane capital for New Garrack.

Haize Dasko Issues Warning; 50 Tonnes of Technocracy-Era Compound Chemical Weapons Gone Missing

ICTURK CITY - Today the Haize Dasko had issued a Red-Level warning to all of Haize Armed Forces personnel and started a massive countermeasures program for Haize citizens after upon intensive audit of Haize Environment & Energy Ministry over the clean-up process of Haize Technocracy-era chemical weapons programs had revealed approximately fifty tonnes of deadly compound chemical weapons gone missing from their respective stockpiles. Anomalies had been incurred on the ministry audits on known amount of legacy weapons conducted on year 2007 and 2013 where two types of highly deadly CCWs identified as Shultz-1 and Shultz-7 had apparently vanished from the audit calculations.

The unprecedented disaster had prompted Haize Dasko to remove several top ranking officials from the ministry and, sparked a considerable public fears and outrage. Commonwealth Slave Labour Shock

CCA - Reports from Adelaide Colony have stated that a human trafficking ring and related slave labour has recently been uncovered.

The news comes as a shock to the Commonwealth which has maintained a strong anti-slavery stance and it is expected that a thorough investigation into the matter will be conducted. It is understood that a number of persons from poor backgrounds and a host of different nations were offered the chance of a new life, what they got was a six week trip to Adelaide and forced labour as an indentured worker.

A spokesperson of the Adelaide Mineworkers and Allied Trades Union made the following statement; "The AMATU has worked hard to ensure fair working conditions and fair pay for all workers on Adelaide, though the news that some of the mines here would use slave labour to boost their profit margins is sickening. We make demands of both the Colonial Government and CCA to begin a thorough investigation, leaving no stones unturned until the persons behind this foul scheme are brought to justice!"

Colonial Governor Eric Webb also made a statement; "I am equally shocked and disgusted that our colony has been touched by the foul mark of slavery, whilst an enquiry into the affair will be held we also are looking at returning the unfortunates caught up in all this back to their homes and their families."

Haize Armed Forces Confirms New Military Branch, Haize Armed Space Forces

Haize Armed Forces had recently gave a positive validation that a new service is rising within its ranks as indicated by Tachi-Korov, the official spokesperson of the armed forces, "The Ditorates issue had really woken us up. Royal Space Force Reacts To Announcement!

CCA - The recent confirmation of the creation of a space arm for the Haize Armed Forces has been met with a great deal of interest.

"It certainly rattles the status quo." A RSF spokesperson said earlier today. "As with the creation of any military space force we have to take a good hard look at the nation's capabilities in order to determine policy. Though the Commonwealth remains the dominant space power in Greater Dienstad by sheer extraterrestrial assets, certain factors can give a new astro power an advantage."

The spokesperson concluded by saying that the RSF will take a 'wait and see' approach for the time being until such time that the Haize space force's capabilities and limitations are known.

Titianicia currently posses off world colonies most, famously the the lunar city of Gūchéng which operates as a refuelling base and as a military installation in order to launch preventive attacks on possible threats mostly asteroids which threaten the planet. The TAF is also planning to to build a colony on Europa in a few years in order to actively study the oceans of water that lay under the ice. However if anyone interferes, these dreams which never come true.

Commonwealth To Build 'Super-Capital' Explorer Spaceship

CCA - The Commonwealth Colonial Authority had announced the start of its most ambitious construction project to date.

Over the next few months construction work will begin on the lead ship of a new spaceship class called the Darwin Class Explorer, a massive vessel expecting to be six kilometres long when complete. The Darwin Class is named after famed English naturalist Charles Darwin and will be the first Commonwealth vessel with artificial gravity in the form of a rotating section. Construction of this vessel is expected to take at least a decade.

When it enters operational service, the Darwin class will serve the Royal Space Force as a deep-space exploration ship. Crew complement is believed to be 350 souls, a size typically only seen previously on space stations. In addition to their complement of fighters, Darwin class ships have an array of smaller support vessels and shuttles for short range exploration and planetary surveying.

Nihatzi, fellow readers! We're proud to say that this is our first ever publication after our parent company UnfilteredTruths.HiCs triumphant legal win against the Haize Dasko on distributing our opinions to the greater masses of Haize, especially when our own supposedly 'government' deliberately control every aspect of the information around you without you even realizing it! Well, we had said enough for our very first introduction and let's get to our main topic today, which there exist several strong theories on the actual purposes of Haize Armed Space Forces, or shortlisted as HASF, and what they actually employ.

Note that our lovely Junta is doing its best work here, invisible information blackhole on HASF. There are minimal information on the armed service other than wild conjectures thrown by Tachi-Korov, the official spokesperson of Haize Armed Forces but they are intentionally hiding alot of stuffs from us, like the severity of United Ditorates of Titancia orbital weapons issue, and the existence of interstellar-faring nation known as Morrdh just across the ocean! You thought Aliens on Earth is just a latest Haishan science-fiction movie did you? But the Morridane nation is the only known nation with interstellar reach! And they're trying to build a six kilometer long space warship, bet you didn't know about it before thanks to speedy censoring mechanisms of HIRSr.

So, when it's all summed up, obviously the Junta will react to it in some way and the creation of HASF is the answer. And like any military backed government, they are very efficient. Very very efficient at one thing, undoubtedly proven for centuries without much failure. To kill the other guy, the enemy of the state, and ecetera host of reasons. Now we're going to delve why HASF can be very terrifying to our neighbours and ourselves (yes we know Haishan isn't the only power in Greater Dienstad, but we do have ego at work here). Our publication staffs had recently got multiple information dumps on their email inboxes and they all show a singular common pretitle, HASF. Well as we sift through the unknown sourced information, two conjectures become rapidly apparent.

That HASF is using 'a custom Mega Free Electron Lasers' sourced from the enigmatic high tech agency of the Junta, HPVA and the space arm had long existed as a special classified branch, just unknown to most until now. It does sound a little over the top as you see it, but we can relate seemingly unrelated clues from various sources that may validate such outlandish claims, especially if you look hard enough in certain Haishan scientific communities and look through Haishan's top institutes websites. The best source of all to cross check is the Program Incentive Directive of Haishan managed by HPVA where the Junta awards successful inventors with high value prizes. Fair warning however, although it can be accessed by the public at the moment, it's actively monitored by several high level agencies, and the information you want to seek for may purposely obscured through complex wordings or omitted out.

The very first indicator to this conjecture is the apparent enormity of HPVA directed energy weapons program that they did declassify here. If you know the Junta by heart, what they did openly show to you only represent the tenth of the tenth of what they have in research or operational. A quick check with Haishan Transparency Auditors managed by our civilian magistrates revealed that HPVA is actively sourcing inordinate amounts of funds to top tier Haishan research institutes to develop DEWs, with some official records putting the accumulated amount at fifty billion hikans (NSD 25 billion) to outlandish one trillion hikans total (NSD 500 billion, based on our guess work on totaling HPVA-related activities on photonic technologies).

However, HPVA as you know it is labeled as high tech agency for a very good reason, and if you try to find their credit trail by invoking the recently passed Haize Information Declassification Act (2013), you will either get swamped with ludicrous numbers that's insane to believe or you will get trapped in nonsensical loops of conflicting audit reports or even lose sight of the trail. Think about it a moment. If HPVA is so eager to fund any new photonic technologies (and they did here) and Haize Armed Forces publicized attempt to fund a 'tunable free electron laser', there is a high chance that HASF may get HPVA fruits of labour and operate it in space.

Still not convinced? We were, till we found out that the institute had been operating free electron lasers for quite some time now, and licensing its designs to numerous parties in Haishan. The latest purported 'Xasler' compact X-ray imaging unit introduced by Machovo Medical Solutions last year? It's a free electron laser device given the 'wide tunability' listed in its advertorial, and the company is one of many that collaborate with the institute. And if you look at a very very specific part of Vakolev Energy Institute's vast publication of scientific articles, words like 'free particle focusing', 'coherent emission from energetic particles' start to appear. And HPVA being itself is literally connected to every research institute in Haishan, including your university if you attend one of Haishan higher tiers of education.

Combine that commercial availability of free electron lasers (we had contacted Machovo Medical Solutions and they did confirm it) and the apparent shadows of HPVA programs, it's not distant that HASF is operating one of the most deadliest weapons ever in Haishan with tremendous amount of range. Vakolev Energy Institute's little known effort to improve particle accelerator technologies further lead credence to this conjecture as not many is informed of the institute's latest performance figures on such programs (some reported up to 20 GeV/cm) which is one of the key factors on miniaturizing and making free electron lasers space-grade weapons.

Take a 0.1 nm (X-ray) wavelength as an example. To get electrons to emit in x-ray level photons, you need immensely long accelerators and undulators, and by history most Haishan linacs used in such lasers are limited by design to energies up to 50 MeV with lengths up to two kilometers, and they need complicated cooling and have significant bulk. Weight is everything in getting stuff in space, and if they try to lift a two kilometer-long linac to orbit, the cost will spiral uncontrollably upwards let alone the fragility of the whole apparatus. How 'Xasler' fit in this picture? It's the first claimed medical-grade free electron x-ray laser with 'tunability' and 'taking room no larger than one standard room'.

Granted medical grade and weapon grade differ greatly on so many aspects, not yet space-worthy, you can clearly realized how advanced is HPVA, and its directed energy programs. If 'Xasler' is just a dumbed down version of Vakolev Energy Institute's free electron lasers (it's a rather common corporate-research institute cooperation in Haishan as indicated here), then without doubt HASF is fielding a pimped up version of 'Xasler' and further calculations on the predicted capabilities of such hypothetical system put ballpark estimate of half-to a light second ranges, delivering particularly nasty amount of radiation from afar. HASF might as well known as the 'Space Snipers' now. And with that we bit adieu to our readers, the next issue will reveal additional information on HASF true purposes and equipments; Aliens on Earth-esque deflector shield (yes, that's right, a working shield!) and super killer drones.

Royal Space Force Confirms More Research Projects

CCA - Following on the heels of a rapid succession of news stories concerning space based projects, the Commonwealth's Royal Space Force has confirmed the existence of more research projects.

A few months ago the RSF announced that it had begun research into artificial gravity, now it seems it wishes to further enhance its capabilities with research into interstellar communications and alternative forms of Faster Than Light travel. If either of the project succeeds then the fruits they bear will not only benefit the RSF, but also the Commonwealth Colonial Authority has a whole.

The first project is intended to improve interstellar communications, presently limited to the speed of the fastest ships the RSF currently operates. It hinges on the theorized existence of tachyons, a type of particle believed to be capable of travelling faster than light. If the particles are proven to exist and can be harassed then real-time communications over enormous distances might just be possible, the benefits to the CCA cannot be understated as it would allow colonies to communicate wit one another in real-time.

The second project is more notable due to it concerning itself with the radical theory of using alternative dimensions for faster than light travel rather than the Solothurn Drives currently in service. The 'Hyperspace Theory' is the theorized existence of an alternative dimension simply dubbed 'Hyperspace', a dimension that is believed to allow ships to cross interstellar distances in mere days rather than the weeks and even months it presently takes. The only issues are accessing this dimension, navigating it and the sheer power requirements in order to do so. Research into tachyons (mentioned above) may solve the issue of navigation, but the existence of both them and Hyperspace still have yet to be proven.

Both projects will run concurrently, though it is expected to be some time before a breakthrough is made.

A New Institute Join the Ranks; Solzot Institute of Celestial Engineering Backed by HASF

SOLZOT - Haize Armed Space Forces or shortlisted as HASF had recently announced a creation of entirely brand new institute backed by the armed branch; Solzot Institute of Celestial Engineering (SICE) was announced just overnight after the disclosure of Haize Armed Forces intentions to expand into space, joining other top tier Haishan institutes such as Hahao Kinematics Institute, Sokol Flight Institute and Gaokyvl Advanced Materials Center in Solzot, a region of the nation famously known as 'Aerospace Mecca' by aspiring Haize aero and space engineers.

The full extent of SICE activities is not yet cleared by press time but Space Commandant Zachyr-Toshri, the newly instated leader of Haize Armed Space Forces briefly detailed the motivation and purpose behind the move in HASF's first ever public press conference conducted in Solzot Aerospace Center earlier today, "suffice to say that we are the executors of actions but for us to proceed we need someone to think of it first. It's a no brainer, obviously the chicken came before the egg so we had decided to develop a new institute, with special emphasis on celestial engineering."

"Outerspace represent relatively new set of challenges and in most cases they are highly fatal if not debilitating to ordinary humans, taikonaut or not. Space is a harsh mistress. So what can we do about it? Here on HASF, we're not only thinking ways to provide space defense for Haishan, but also think how would it benefit the nation as a whole, to contribute back to our nation for providing us the necessary funding in the first place. Thus SICE represent one of our gifts to our nation, to not only expand Haishan capabilities in terms of military, but also the civilian stuffs most new space-reaching powers didn't think or consider about, like better products, electronics and new minerals."

"In absence of gravity, purification processes can be made more pure, and scientific kinematic studies can be accurately done to benefit the industry so it's a three pronged approach for us. SICE will not only help develop our defensive capabilities, but plausibly extend Haishan's innovations into space to bring upon numerous other benefits, like purer alloys. SICE like any other Haishan top institutes are also going to be open to most Haize, but you shouldn't count on its entrance exam being easy, hahaha. Expect it to be one of the hardest given the institute eventual prestige to develop Haishan's space capabilities. Who knows, maybe you can serve directly under HASF if you're lucky, and get into space within your lifetime?"

HASF however denied or purposely avoiding questions regarding the amount of funds being used to create SICE from scratch in a relatively short amount of time. When asked regarding Ditorates' slightly insinuating congratulation on the formation of HASF, Space Commandant Zachyr-Toshri replied that the Ditorates should not take Haishan lightly and throwing 'false conjectures' where implying the nation cannot afford a space force, "if they think we are some random poor nation, they better fix their perspectives. Haishan have tremendous amount of supercomputing power right now, enabling record time on characterizing new composites and chemical kinematics, rapidly speeding our effort on fielding a space fleet."

"And they thought Haishan was the first one to instigate an aggression? By having 'orbital weapons' you really need to expect that you're trying to prompt someone to react in some way, and it's indisputable that the cause of the instigator falls on the party that started it first. Haishan constantly maintains a Mutually Assured Destruction policy as per HABF, and the Ditorates latest comment is doing nothing to amend the orbital weapons issue. And they're trying to create a six kilometer space warship? I'm not terribly surprised of the development, sure we're still new at this time, but they got one thing right about HASF, it's next to impossible to predict our capabilities right now. SICE creation should shake their expectations a little bit, we're not mentally challenged and we were watching what happened in space for quite some time now."

"Even before HASF is officially inaugurated. They could try to hide what space assets they have, but we're constantly observing. Analyzing. Monitoring. Sure we cannot plausibly detect majority of whatever assets they have, but do not forget that Haishan is a champion in supercomputing for a very good reason. Oh and an additional clue for Royal Space Force, SICE will also house an ATHENA solid state quantum supercomputer derivative, to greatly speed up developments pertaining to indigenous celestial-level engineering. They could liken us to a jack-in-a-box I guess, but that's my personal opinion." HASF had denied further questioning by the press other than the answered issues, citing 'it's still early to say', 'it's a secret we like to keep!' as the most common replies. Royal Space Force Begins Project Beacon

CCA - Earlier today the Royal Space Force has confirmed that Project Beacon, the development of Faster Than Light communications, has begun.

August 6, 2013—Haize days to the stars are closer than ever; Haize Armed Space Forces had recently announced that they're in final preparations of launching several custom-made drone explorers in simultaneously-run scientific missions to four of Solar System's gas giant planets starting from Jupiter to Saturn, Neptune and lastly Uranus. Stevid Warns of New Space Race

The Holy Empire of Stevid has expressed concern at the growing trend with several major states within Greater Dienstad at further militarising the void of Space. With the arrival of Haishan as a technologic powerhouse with massive potential in innovative and emerging technologies to be used in equally innovative tangible designs, The Commonwealth of Morrdh has now found itself a serious contender to its monopoly of space defence. While the Haize Space Armed Forces lack the experience and funding that Morrdh provides its own force, Haishan has the technological edge in terms of sustainable and economically viable technology. Morrdh also hold the advantage in engineering; but judging from the official press releases from both nations, there seems to be a growing tension in the void that if left unchecked, may come to pass and heat up what is an icy cold vacuum.

Stevidian military assets stem mainly through alliance and involve mainly manned satellites and unmanned military/civilian satellites. This includes the regions newest space station which is a culmination of the Triple Alliance pact between Stevid, Independent Hitmen and Damirez. There is further cooperation within the alliances of the Delian League and ODECON, both of which Stevid is party to. CCA - The Commonwealth Colonial Authority has today stated that Project Beacon, its research project into faster than light communications, will be opened up to foreign involvement.

Haize Dasko Condemned the Imperial Theocracy of Castille de Italia for Being 'Too Orthodox'

Answering to these seemingly trivial yet monumental issues require not only funding and materials but a clear direction or perhaps importantly a fundamental change on how Haize defines and view the world. Solzot Institute of Celestial Engineering's first appointed professor, Turu-Tayiko serving as the current Master Dean accepted the unrealistic prospect and challenge, "Space is a dirty, and nasty business. "And to defend against these invisible rays, you need protection just like you need a sunscreen cream to avoid getting sun-burnt. However, space is generally mutually exclusive with high levels of radiation up to the point the shielding is just too heavy for Haishan to boost to orbit. Gravity is another challenge. It weighs everything down, driving the cost of launch upwards just like what it's supposed to launch. And lo, if we could solve these problems, Haishan may found its space access highly magnified and lets not forget the implications such advancement could bring to us ordinary folks. Suddenly everything can be lighter which means we can load more mass upon it, specific case in example in gravity reduction. The Master Dean quickly retorted the opposition by stating "gravity literally breaks on the quantum world and a superconductor is a quantum world in macro-size", though it raises more questions than answers of why such results should occur.
