A spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense said yesterday that the ZPA Navy will continue to observe and patrol the South China Sea as such operations are "not about any one country, nor are they about making political statements" and instead the aim is to "demonstrate Zhouran's commitment to uphold the rights, freedoms and lawful uses of the sea and airspace guaranteed to all nations under international law". Scarborough is known in Mainland China as Huangyan Island and called Panatag or Bajo de Masinloc by the Philippines. President Shangzhou Kanshing has pushed to get this passed since his campaign in 2009. When he was inaugurated in 2010, he declared that he promises to get a resolution on conscription passed by April of 2011. The current resolution only effects those who were conscripted before the first of February 2018. Former president Hei Sogeki has praised president Kanshing. He was quoted saying,"Kangzhou has really listened to his people and finally found a resolution that pleases the KNSDF, the KNC, and the people of Karu."

Hong Kong Crown Territory, 22 January 2018

Dawn, at around 5:45 AM (UTC +8), a group of civilian refugees numbering 34 fleeing the war-torn, impoverished, and totalitarian People's Republic of China attempted to cross the border into British Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong-China border has been branded one of the deadliest borders on Earth, with around 650 deaths each year due to failed crossings; from falling from the fences to getting shot by border guards from both sides, though most usually from PLA soldiers attempting to stop their citizens from escaping the infamous iron-fisted regime of Premier Fu Xinyi and his Communist Party of China.

Ever since the beginning of the 2nd Chinese Civil War in early 2017, attempted border crossings into the more progressive countries of Russia, Japan, India, and Britain have increased by around 280%, analysts say. Hong Kong is a particular hot-spot, with its relatively low population and highly advanced urban area, offering many opportunities.

Covered by the darkness and with few patrols to avoid, they begun their escape. As some of them began climbing, they were spotted by a PLA patrol car, which immediately tried to apprehend them by opening fire, killing 8 and wounding 5 of the refugees. Upon hearing gunfire, the alarms were sounded, and nearby British patrols approached the area. They fired at the Chinese patrol, which, after a brief exchange of gunfire leading to no deaths, drove back to their border post.

The British border guards, with strict orders from Governor-General Maribeth Ainsworth to bar anyone from unsanctioned entry, tried to apprehend the border jumpers, in an attempt to deport them peacefully. After numerous warnings in the Chinese language to cease climbing and surrender to the patrol, the jumpers persisted, and the British soldiers were forced to open fire; 3 were killed and 14 were wounded. An additional 3 surrendered without being harmed. One of the border crossers successfully escaped into Hong Kong, and is still being pursued by the police.

"This incident, the first one for the year 2018, is truly violent and unnecessary. We condemn the Chinese authorities for treating their citizens so harshly, and apologise for the deaths and wounds our own men have caused, despite their best attempts to pursue the border crossers peacefully. But, entry into British territory still requires the needed permissions. We discourage any Chinese people from attempting further entry. It may very well lead to deportation, or worse, injury, or even death. I also urge the escapee, currently hiding somewhere here, to surrender to the authorities. We know China, in its current state, is nowhere anyone deserves to live, but we must prioritise the safety and welfare of our own. I regret to say this, but we have nothing to offer to any refugees."

In total 11 were killed and 19 were wounded in the incident. The 3 who surrendered have been handed over back to Chinese authorities, their fates unknown. The injured are being treated in the Shang Royal Military Hospital, and will be nursed to full health before finally being deported.

Earthquake Strikes South Kartana At least hundreds killed and thousands injured, military personnel deployed Tuesday, 23 January 2018, 14:19PM | Cipalen, South Kartana AP CIPALEN, SK — A strong earthquake struck the central highlands of South Kartana, one of Rikana's most populous provinces, on Tuesday, rocking buildings in the provincial capital of Cipalen, and sending people fleeing into the streets in panic. The magnitude-5.8 earthquake struck around 1:48PM about 110 kilometers south of the city, with its epicenter in the Dekin Highlands. As of Tuesday evening, official reports stated 112 casualties and approximately a thousand people injured with varying severity. A house in the outskirts of Cipalen, South Kartana, collapsed after the earthquake. "The school shook for about half a minute," recounted Jesi, a schoolteacher in Citengah, "The upper floor collapsed and we were trapped in there for what felt like hours on end before our soldiers found us and got us out. It was... unforgettable." Reports on social media suggested that buildings in Cipalen shook for several seconds, with some swiftly being evacuated. Around the city, panicky residents fled schools, office buildings and other high-rises, under supervision of the local State Armed Forces garrison. According to a report written by Maj. Faris Hadrian, the Ground Forces' 71st Emergency Response battalion were called in to assist with evacuation and rescue. Sandcutter Daily Latest January 2018, 29th Hundredstar has decided to send several teams of its elite Disaster Rescue and Emergency Assistant Management (DREAM) to Rikana to coordinate Relief and Rescue Operations after the deadly earthquake which claimed over 112 lives damaging properties worth millions. The Prime Minister directed immediate dispatch of relief and rescue teams, including medical teams to Rikana, as well as to nearby affected areas. He also directed that proper arrangements be made for rendering assistance in an evacuation of stranded tourists. The DREAM left Rikana at 6 a.m. Sunday Bledllyn time following a massive 5.8-magnitude earthquake on Saturday. The DREAM left for Rikana to help with local disaster relief. In total 22 rescue personnel with six sniffer dogs and some emergency relief equipment set off from Killenthorpe Hill Air Force Base Sunday morning. King Abdul Saud al-Khalid of Arabia voices his condemnation against the Allied Coalition against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, after a bombing run conducted by the Royal Air Force in 24 January 2018 to stamp out ISIS terrorists in the city of Mecca accidentally destroyed the Kaaba, the holiest site in Islam and Mecca's centrepiece.

Inviting international press to his royal household in Riyadh, the dictator announced that the Arabian embassy in London would be closed immediately, and that all diplomatic ties are severed until the British Empire states an official apology.

"It is unbelievable that the supposed defenders of the free world against the terrorists have destroyed a very important part of our lives as Moslems! I do not care if they [ISIS] are occupying my city, I did not give you the right to desecrate my religion! Because of this preposterous insult, I shall now sever all friendships with the perpetrators of this slander... the true enemy: the British Empire, and their godless king! Close our embassy in London, and kick out the Briton diplomats from my capital! When they are groveling at my feet, apologising for their misdeeds against mighty god, only then shall I welcome them back!"

In early December 2017, last year, ISIS began their occupation of the holy city of Mecca after being driven back from northern Arabia by the Coalition forces, consisting of troops from Britain, Russia, Turkey, Persia, Egypt, Arabia, and the United States. The Arabian garrison in the city quickly fell, most even joining the terrorists in their crusade.

With the ground forces surrounding the city, Air Vice-Marshal Angeline Carter, commander of RAF forces assigned to the coalition, with permission from the Ministry of War in London, began conducting bombing raids against the militants occupying Mecca in 15 January 2018. Just a few days later, at 24 January, the structure was hit numerous times by Paveway IV laser-guided bombs dropped from GR5 Tornado aircraft, reducing it to rubble. Many militants looted the golden regalia inside.

King-Emperor James IV, while leaving the Ministry of Health and Welfare building in London for an unrelated meeting, was briefly interviewed for his response to this event.

Andrew Hill: "Your majesty, Andrew Hill here from the Imperial Herald. Just some questions, what are your thoughts on Arabia's closure of embassy with Britain?"

James IV: "Eh? That little blunder? Good riddance."

A: "How do you think this would affect Anglo-Arabian foreign relations?"

J: "Badly, but it certainly is of no concern for anyone at the moment... well, at least here."

A: "How about the British petroleum companies with drilling operations in Arabia?"

The agreement had been negotiated by the two nations about a few weeks ago in which the Iranian military showed interests in bolstering military ties with Zhouran, as well as acquiring the latest weaponry and defense equipment from Zhouran. Some analysts in the West say that the agreement had been signed in response to the latest waves of protest happening across Iran, with some saying that Iran could possibly be asking friendly nations such Russia, China and Zhouran for increased support. Zhouran, China and Russia refrain from intervening into the situation happening Iran as it is seen as an "internal affair". While Zhouran does contain one of the largest oil reserves in the world, easily rivaling that of Canada's, Iran's, and Iraq's, the nation prefers to import foreign oil than increase domestic production in order to conserve the nation's massive oil reserve. The Harper Administration Announces
New Violent Crime, Terrorism and Intercommunal Violence Prevention Zone Policy

After the inability of the Commonwealth Federation's central government to stop widely-publicised catastrophes like the ongoing Rohingya Crisis and ever-present troubles in Sudan and Palestine, President Harper has announced a new policy which should provide a revolutionary new foundation for dealing with crises in the future.

The problem with terrorism and intercommunal violence, as diagnosed by the Harper administration, is that the central government is too sluggish and bureaucratic to adequately respond when the local government is incapable of doing so (as in India, with the infrequent Hindu-Muslim conflicts) or unwilling to do so (as in Sudan, chronically ailed by corruption and cronyism). The cure is the new, and decidedly wordy Violent Crime, Terrorism and Intercommunal Violence Prevention Zones, or VCTIV Prevention Zones. This policy is squarely aimed at regions with high crime and disorder, particularly terrorism, as is Harper's main focus.

The basic premise of the new plan is that a suspended state of emergency shall be implemented in several high-risk regions of the Federation: the states of Palestine, Afghanistan, Burma, Southern Cameroons, Southern Rhodesia and Malaya, as well as the regions of Northern Ireland (G.B.N.I.), Darfur (Sudan), Punjab and her Princely States, North-West Tribal Areas, Assam, Jammu and Kashmir and Bengal (India). This would enable the General Council¹ to quickly intervene by simply implementing the already-existing state of emergency with a simple majority vote, allowing the executive to take over and direct security efforts in the region, namely by organising a 'police action' as seen in Malaya and Kenya in the 1950s.

Whilst well-received by important states including South Africa, Southern Rhodesia and Great Britain and Northern Ireland, this ambitious new programme has already proven controversial, especially as the policy as yet has no specified end-point or mechanism for introducing new areas or removing others. Proposals to include the rest of India, Iraq and all of South Africa did not come to fruition, widely suspected to be down to the incurable state-to-state lobbying and corruption of the Federation - undoubtedly South Africa's beleaguered Zuma administartion bought off those drafting the policy.

In any event, Harper's anti-terrorism drive has hit new highs, and Palestine & Burma in particular had better beware of these states of emergency being brought to bear on them: One can only hope that this will prompt the Burmese administration to correct the Rohingya Crisis and the two Palestinian sectors to work together ahead of their expected election to the Mandates and Smaller States bracket of the General Council come 2019.

Jhalpharezi Stays On Pace

Jhalpharezi Spice National Team players all seemed to be on the same page after their first victory in World T20 Championship cricket. In multiple interviews ranging from radio shows and internet blogs to television broadcasts, different players used the word momentum. One such player was Batsman Chander Chadda.

"Securing a victory was the hard part. From here we have to keep up the fight individually, to keep the team's momentum alive."

Bowlers also echoed the sentiment, although the Spice's batsmen seemed to save their first win by narrowly edging out the 8th ranked team from Devonta. Bowler Vikrant Azam said, "If we keep throwing with confidence, momentum will fall for Jhalpharezi's bowlers as well. We'll give up less runs and more wickets will fall."

The unranked Spice faced 12th ranked Damukuni for their second WT20C match. It was sure to be a cracker. The spice came out motivated, swinging hard. They got off to an early lead, but found themselves stalling as the overs went on.

This time, accurate and consistent bowling helped Jhalpharezi stay in the game even during a cold streak at bat. One of the world's top teams was held to 129 runs.

Harsha Datta continued his strong batting presence, leading the Spice in runs once again. He scored 45, with two 4's and one 6 sent over the boundary.

Chander Chadda stepped up his performance scoring 25 runs, compared to 10 in match 1. He added one 6, sent explosively into the stands. Most of his scoring came from consistent hitting rather than power however.

Megh Naidu was substituted for Vannish batsman Matthew Leibold. Cricket in Vangaziland is played mainly by a few select social circles. Imperial Military Academy has Vangaziland's most well known cricket team. There are no pro teams, leaving the talented to seek overseas opportunities. Leibold was scouted as having potential. He's been living in Jhalpharezi for the past two years, playing on a small time pro contract and working during the off-season.

He brings a lot of power to the bat but is still refining his footwork. The national team's scouts see lots of potential in the batsman and made room for him on the 'Extra Players' list.

"Leibold has a few bad habits that we can refine", said Batting Coach Devdas Kabir. "We are also training him to get more flexible in the knees. This will help him become a prominent hitter, some time down the line."

Compared to Vannish cricket, the game is an everyman's sport in Jhalpharezi. Schools in the cities usually have organized programs at the elementary level and leagues for the secondary level. Universities have competitive leagues which act as a feeder to the pros. You can also find pickup games at local parks, with poorer villages often chipping in to buy gear for the community.

Cricket stadiums in Jhalpharezi can be fairly large in capacity, ranging from 30k to 50k+ spectators. The fans are rabid, known for aggressively supporting their side. The sport is far removed from the aristocratic nature of Vangaziland's game. Late in 2016, a game between teams from Bakati and Mahidisi turned into a riot which lasted over an hour. Riot police had to be called in. It was a dangerous situation that became a dark mark on Jhal cricket. Jhal cricket fans became known throughout India as the local hooligans.

The international media didn't hear much about the incident until color commentary during World T20 Championship games, after a popular sports network showed highlights of the riots. The event would not play over well with the sport's more refined fans. Still, the passion for cricket had to be admired.

"Day by day", said the team's Manager, Indranil Barkat. "Match by match. That's the only way we can progress this season. Patience. Consistency. Aggression."

The Spice will face fellow Indian rivals Northwest Kalactin on Match Day 3.

The End of the World

Over the course of two weeks, humanity was reduced to ashes by Martian invaders. No, it wasn't the Zergthadians, the Galactic Empire. Everything built in the last millenniums was destroyed by the inhabitants of the neighboring red planet. The reasons behind the surprise attack are unknown and we'll likely never live to discover it, though satellite imagery suggests it is related with the Great Pyramid of Giza - the biggest in Egypt - as the pyramid's surrounds are the only part of the country that wasn't destroyed by bombardments.

The Martian mission isn't enslaving or saving a few humans to build a zoo - complete genocide of the Homo Sapiens is the only possible outcome in this war. However, it seems that the Martians do care about wildlife as they avoid bombardments of forests, deserts, and any kind of sparsely populated area while recklessly firing thousands of missiles at big urban centers. Nonetheless, the Martians are also interested in resources such as metal and gold.

While this will be the last news on our site, it doesn't mean the war is over. The war will end when the last bullet is fired, the last nuke launched, the last man killed. Maybe some will live to discover why a world destroyed another populated world for no reason, maybe not. Looks like humanity will fade out from history without knowing the reasons that led to its genocide.

On the 6th of February, the Eurasian Union (EU)'s Legislature confirmed the commencement of the 21st Annual Nautical Warfare Exercises (ANWE) of the Eurasian Union Joint Security Committee (EUJSC), its 5 members include: the British Empire, the Russian Empire, the Japanese Empire, the Philippine Empire, and the Dominion of India; the largest and most powerful militaries of the EU.

The ANWE is a 15-day long series of naval wargames, conducted by the navies of the EUJSC, typically conducted around February to March every year. This year, it will be from the 11th to the 26th of February. In ANWE, the ships and crews of the members run a series of training exercises and simulations, from ship boarding to large-scale allied naval battles.

It is typically conducted on the open seas of the Pacific Ocean. However, this year, the organisers of the event decided to conduct the operations on the West Philippine Sea, a known crisis point between the EU and the People's Republic of China.

The PRC claims the all of the areas of the West Philippine Sea, which they call the South China Sea (Chinese: 南中國海; Nán Zhōngguó Hai). However, there is no international recognition for this claim, and even China itself cannot control any part of the sea due to their outdated and undersupplied navy. Instead, most of the area is split between Japan, Britain, and the Philippines, 3 of the 5 members of the EUJSC, the West Philippine Sea being close to these nations' territories, which the Chinese have complained about since the 1970's.

Due to this, the PRC once again voiced their complaints in the 8th of February, in an international press conference led by the PRC's Defence Minister, General Huang Zhihao, who is well known as the right-hand man of China's dictator, Fu Xinyi.

"We present our complaint to the Eurasian Union against their naval wargames in our rightful territory, the South China Sea, as indicated by the Nine-Dash Line. We have made an endless amount of claims to the UN about the issue, all of which have been ignored. This has put concern to us, our supreme leader, and our people, regarding China's sovereignty. We have enough problems as it is, with the 28 warlords who control almost half of our territory, and the civil war raged by rebel Hua Jin, both of which have caused suffering for the Chinese people and the Communist Party. Please do not add to it."

Today, the 9th of February, the EU made its official reply.

"This is our reply to the absurd complaint of the People's Republic of China, in two very simple words: shut up. Your claim to the West Philippine Sea, the so called Nine-Dash Line, has no legal basis, and according to UN international treatise regarding this, your territorial waters consist of only the 22 kilometres extended from your coastlines. Most of the sea is international waters, the rest being the proper territory of the 3 nations who have trading, fishing, and military vessels using it. Thus, you have no right to expel us or even criticise our decision to conduct operations here. Remember: aggression against any EU member will be met with full force from the Joint Security Committee. The 21st ANWE shall proceed as planned, and may we all enjoy the show."

MURDERER OF SEVEN IMPALED IN HERBERTSKIRKEN IN THE PROVINCE OF TULLEMARK

It has been confirmed by the Municipal Police of Herbertskirken, in the west of the province of Tullemark, that Albert Martinsgaard, a murderer of seven women and children, has been executed by impalement on a wooden stake today, on the 14th of February. Along with him were impaled two sodomites, three thiefs, a vegetarian, four thought-criminals and seven consumers of intoxicating substances. The process was efficient. The stakes were smeared with oil before being driven into the criminals from below at 08:00 Medwed Standard Time. A team of ten torturers and two surgeons prolonged the deserved suffering of the condemned by injecting adrenaline and administering smelling salts. The prescribed sentence time was seven hours for the murderer and four hours for the other condemned; all survived until the thresholds had been reached, after which hay was assembled and lit to bonfires at the stakes. The remains of the corpses were incinerated, after which the execution site, located on the town square of Herbertskirken, was disinfected.

The Municipal Police of Herbertskirken would like to express gratitude towards all viewers of the execution. Two classes of Herbertskirken Grammar School attended the procedure in a field trip.

Today, in a press conference held by the Foreign Affairs Ministry of the Philippine Empire, Foreign Minister Mara Lin-Esteban light-heartedly expounds a section of the Philippine Emperor's annual speech, to quote: "We are willing to throw away our feud with the Indo-Malay Confederacy for the sake of peace."

Just a few days ago, on 12 February, Jose II, the Emperor of the Philippines, held his annual speech. For one and a half hours, he discussed the various issues facing the Philippine Empire, and the achievements of the Philippine government in the past year. He mentioned briefly that the Empire was inclined to seek a permanent peace with the Indo-Malay Confederation, of which the Philippine Empire has been in a state of ceasefire with since the end of the Philippine Conquest of Indonesia in 1977.

As of now, relations between the two are cold at best. Both nations have militarised the only border they share, located on the western side of Java Island, and naval patrols dot their coasts. One particular 5-day standoff in 2014 almost led to another war, if not for diplomatic compromise by the United Nations to maintain the status quo.

The Indo-Malay government is yet to make a reply.

However, things aren't looking good for a true peace. According to polls, 71.1% of the Indo-Malay population support a war with the Philippines, and so do many of their top-ranking politicians, making claims of "reclaiming lost land" and "making the Philippine dogs pay". Yet, should war break out again, the odds are not in Indo-Malaya's favour.

The Imperial Armed Forces of the Philippines is one of the best equipped and trained militaries in Asia, and has a total size of around 483,600 personnel, including reserves. The Philippine Empire is also economically powerful, and not to mention, allies with the members of the Eurasian Union — including the British Empire — and the United States, all of which have pledged to support the Philippines in the hypothetical conflict.

Meanwhile, the Allied Forces of Indo-Malaya, despite outnumbering their Philippine counterpart with 1.6 million troops, has no allies and little in terms of modern equipment, mostly using weaponry from the 60's to the 80's. Their economy is also in shambles, reliant on agriculture and with a GDP per capita of $4,332.65 in 2016.

Because of this deficiency, the Supreme Vanguard has been increasingly receiving more training from its allies Zhouran and Russia, however this brings up another issue: over-reliance on foreign maintenance. With a large amount of high-tech equipment, the Supreme Vanguard heavily relies on foreign contractors to provide maintenance to its large, well-equipped arsenal. Even with a large domestic defense industry, Zartobanian defense manufacturers require massive assistance from Zhouran, Russia, China and other nations including Serbia and Belarus just to keep Zartobania's military-industrial-complex running and functioning. During the press conference, Supreme Chief Marshal Mekhail Pateryak Ilyaklon stated that the Supreme Vanguard "shall exponentially increase the rate of training with our powerful allies". Fort Graves Hotel Group (FGH), a property development company is planning to strengthen its position in the field of hospitality by building two more Royalbridge Hotel in five years.

Its chairman, Dr. Hamilton Tennesley said, the two hotels will be built in Holmlock and Porthbran due to the rapid development and high demand in the states.Commenting on the FGH ability to open a new hotel amid the economic uncertainty of the world at this time, Dr. Tennesley said the company sees it not as an obstacle but as an opportunity.

"Each challenge must have a chance, it is up to any organization looking for an opportunity in the challenge. FGH see this challenge as an opportunity to face the needs of the market in the future," he said.

On the 19th of March, the Annual Summit of the Eurasian Union (EU), a gathering of the heads of state and heads of government of the nations comprising the EU, was held. From 10:00 to 18:00 (UTC +1), the leaders of the EU nations gathered to discuss various agendas for the future of the Union and its member states, with a 1 hour and 30 minute lunch break at 13:00.

All of the nations in the Union have sent at least one political head to the Summit. Some important figures were Charles Williams, Vladimir Putin, Noriko Watanabe, Saanvi Laghari, and Elena Dominguez, the heads of government of the 5 most powerful nations of the EU. Albania's Prime Minister was absent, although their President was in attendance. The only observer of the EU, the Principality of Wachterland, has also sent their Prime Minister.

Meanwhile, a separate banquet was held at the night of the 19th, from 18:30 to 23:00, for the monarchs of the EU who attended the Summit, of which are: James IV of Great Britain, India, Singapore, and Israel, Catherine II of Russia, Akihito of Japan, Harald V of Norway, Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, Jose II of the Philippines, Albert II of Monaco, and Vajiralongkorn of Siam. The monarchs of Brunei, Cambodia, and Andorra did not attend for reasons of their own.

One of the main topics on the table was the London-Moscow-Tokyo maglev railway line project, an ambitious and expensive project of engineering to build a magnetic levitation line for trains which would connect the cities of its namesake, and other cities, like Paris, Berlin, Novosibirsk, Vladivostok, Heijo, Fusan, and many others. Extensions have also been discussed for Saint Petersburg and Constantinople. The project is set to begin in late 2018, and will finish by 2022. It would carry passengers and cargo at high speeds through Europe, Siberia, and East Asia, and involve the crossing of mountain ranges and 2 large bodies of water.

Another topic was the awaited Eurasian Union eSports Tournament, an official, international electronic sports tournament held for players from all across the EU, an avid encouraging factor of which was King-Emperor James IV. A selection of video games would be played in the tournament, including the famous Starcraft 2 and Battlefield 1. Contracts have been made with the creators and publishers of the video games, along with other private entities wishing to advertise and sponsor in the event. The tournament is scheduled for 12 to 23 November 2018, and will be held at Tokyo, Japan.

A lot of other issues and topics were discussed in the hours of the summit, including climate change, terrorism, military affairs, borders and immigration, et cetera. Regulations on emissions, encouragement of renewable energy, international scientific cooperation, and imposing harsher border controls and sanctions on the totalitarian People's Republic of China were proposed and signed.
