We send military aid like weapons vehicles etc to GLA forces through a supply chain that we can connect to not only that but send small volunteer forces like special forces to help GLA forces with training, espionage and special operations. Another phase being that if military conflict continues to go down south as the Americans like to say, then we send more volunteers to help combat the threat at hand. We also continue to pressure SM to sue for peace to help stabilize the region, our goal is to exhaust them to a point where when we truly get involved is through peace talks. Also, rule five was made because in history people tend to take their anger on civilians who happened to be the opposition, once the war is over we wouldn't want people from SO to be dragged onto the streets by Galapagians soldiers and killed because they so happened to be civilians of that country.

Tensions between NATO and the United Federation (South Olpen and Southern Marajarba in particular) are rising, SO and SM are fighting a war against the Galapagos Liberation Army (GLA), and NATO is currently debating whether or not the alliance should back the GLA (leaning towards no right now).

"We should provide GLA with some support to fend off against South Olpen and Southern Marajarba, however, we must also keep the GLA under control. We must not allow SO and SM advance into the Galapagos, this is against our strategic interest. In the meantime, the Eclisian Ministry of Space would like to propose a daring plan for the research and development of hypersonic vehicles. With luck, those will deter SO and SM. We should also increase our covert efforts in SO and SM."

"If we negotiate now it'll be seen as a sign of weakness. This unfortunately will give Southern Marajarbia the bargaining chips to be used against us. There should be communication, but THEY should be the ones requesting one."
