The Saharan Representative, Sayid Fatima, had quickly stepped inside of the Feast hall once it was available for the public to step inside. She was nervous, she had to admit. She was a representative of a small nation going to something as big as this. She needed to make sure the views of the Saharan people would be known, and she shouldn't have to back down.

Sayid sighed as she walked into the hall and adjusted the sash around her, which showed off she was a representative of the Saharan Outposts. Even as she tried to quickly pick out a seat, she felt uneasy and was trying to calm herself, taking slow and steady breathe. This shouldn't be a problem. She knew how to do things like this. She's done this countless times before. Just...it was such a big scale now.

"What would our ancestors think with unification?" She muttered under her breath as she looked around nervously. "To just...give up part of our independence? Can't say they'd completely agree with that..."

Berlin International Lunch Hall

The Confederation's representative, Jonathan Windrow, was not the most impressed person at the gathering, but to be fair, he was a difficult person for anyone to impress. He felt the joy of the people around him, and allowed himself to show a smudge of approval over the days events. He would be representing the Confederation. That was no small task, for the Confederation was by far the most influential state in the Alaromas. He wasn't the braggy sort either, so it was fine in that regard. As he moved over to the Feast are, he noticed all the people around him (Especially the exotic women, hue hue hue) but it should be noted that he of course didn't really know anyone who was outside of Germany. or the Holy American Empire. A Sad endeavor, but true none the less. He looked at the feast, and didn't know what to expect. Funny how he came here to talk about the Confederation's entry into the MTO, but the first thing they do was feed him. Hell, he didn't know what have the stuff was, but it looked and smelled Lotharian esque. Not that there was anything wrong with that, but he didn't take a habit in eating foriegn foods. Hell, he didn't take a habit in eating foods outside of the state of Texas, but the state was so fucking huge that he could get away with it.

As he walked, trying to find a seat, he saw the representative from New York. A young woman named Grace Weber, and if we were being honest, the perfect representation of New York. She was going here and there, seeming as if she was trying to talk to everyone. Jonathan could only help but look at her before out of nowhere she was in front of him talking to him. Taking his hand, she began happily shaking it saying "Why hello there Mister Windrow, nice to see you again! How are you, what's Texas weather like this time of year? I hear it's crazy, let me tell ya." Laughing sort of nervously, sort of genuinely, "Yeah, it is crazy. Also, I'm doing fine, thank you Miss Weber." Nodding, she continued "Can you believe we're here? The Lotharian Emperor is a wonderful man, let me tell you. He definitely has a presence around him, almost reminding me of Emperor Cayleb!" Laughing, her reference to the Confederation's king, and the Holy American Empire's Emperor, he said "Ah, yes, King Cayleb. That man definitely certainly has a personality. However I will say their differences are very noticeable too." Shaking her head agreement, she looked like she was about to continue, but something caught her eye leading her to say "Well it was nice talking to you, but I have some others to talk to. We should go to Lunch sometime! That'd be great fun!" and with that, she was off. "What a interesting woman................" Jonathan said as he watched her walk off.

As he looked around, he could definitely see the Media Presence around the area. Whether it be Alaroman, Lotharian, or otherwise. He felt almost self-conscious knowing that, but he shrugged it off, knowing he wasn't a pushover in that regard. As he sat down, he sat next to the Saharan Representative who looked like she was about to have a heart attack. As he sunk into his seat, he saw all the people's gathering in the seats of their choice. Looking over to the Saharan, he said "Calm down miss, you look nervous. Does your homeland no good if you have a heart attack before the negotiations truly kick off. Relax, and get ready for the Summit to get political. Oh, I'm Jonathan Windrow by the way. I'm from the Confederated States of Alaroma. Representative of his majesty King Cayleb if we're getting technical."
"Yeah, you're right. You got lucky this time. If there were Dutch people there, you would be facing so many rebels!"

Yoweri Alvarenga was extremely excited. The 34 year old Ambassador had been working his way up through the Banijan Foreign Ministry. They had even allowed him to serve as an Ambassador to the Quebecois Commonwealth for six months. But now, he had a new promotion, a new job, and new scenery. He had recently been named the Ambassador At-Large for new foreign organizations. It was an ad-hoc position, that often was not filled, but was created when Banija was debating on whether or not to join a foreign organization.

And that was true for the Monarchist Alliance. What was it about? What was its rules? With the Waziri(Foreign Minister) in Vangaziland for that important investment conference, Yoweri Alvarenga was formally appointed as the Ambassador At-Large for new foreign organizations. Which meant, that he got to keep his official title and rank of Ambassador, to show that he was a direct representative of the head of state. And, of course, keep all the diplomatic privileges that came with being an Ambassador.

As his car drove up to the front doors of the venue, he took a look around. He was not well known in Banija, working his way up the Foreign Ministry ladder, therefore, there were very few Banijan reporters waiting. As far as he could tell, there was one. Yoweri Alvarenga waved at the Banijan reporter, from the Banijan News Network, as the reporter asked him a question.

"Ambassador Alvarenga," Began the reporter. "What brings us here? What do we hope to accomplish?"

"It has always been a priority of the Kabaka to improve Banija's foreign relations." Said Ambassador Alvarenga. "He sees an opportunity to deepen Banijan ties with the international community. I am proud to be representing the Waziri, the Kabaka, and the country as a whole at this conference. There are many opportunities for great things to happen at this venue, and I am confident that they will happen."

After answering that question, he turned around and went inside. Here he was. Representing the country to the world. He didn't know anybody here, of course, but that's why he was here, right? You couldn't be a social recluse and be an Ambassador at the same time. He walked up to the host Emperor and took a bow.

"Your Imperial Majesty," Said Yoweri Alvarenga. "The Kabaka, which is our term for King, sends his greetings to you, and your family. He appreciates the invitation, and we are glad that we are able to attend today. We have high hopes for this conference that you have so graciously organized."

Cassiopeia Blaken-Kazansky, Empress of Greater Prussia and Queen of Allanea and Reichskamphen, Tsarina of All Russia, appeared. At the last moment, the decision was made that queen would arrive in person – and now she was here. Dressed in a red-lined ermine cloak, with a crown of diamonds and rubies at her head, Cassiopeia ascended the podium and began to speak. The Queen’s voice carried well, practiced and calm.

”Greetings to my Royal Cousins.

His Majesty, Maximillion Vynarum, has called us here, to discuss the wave in Communist and so-called ‘Anarchist’ violence that has now beset the world. I am here to tell you that the issue is a real one. Just recently, the Free Kingdom’s armed forces had averted a Maoist revolution in Adomme, stood off against a Communist incursion from Adradkia into Qaidi, and are now assisting the King of Coldfield in heading off a group of radical terrorists known as the ICPA. In Edolia, we have sadly failed, and the house of Blatterschplitt had been overthrown, thousands of Edolian nobles taking refuge under our wing. Thousands more have fled to seek our protection from other countries.

Nor is the matter simply that some monarchs, somewhere, will lose power. Were this the matter, we could somehow overlook it – after all, there are many countries that do not have a monarch, and manage to prosper regardless, and many that do have one and are a veritable house of horrors.

Where the forces of radical Egalitarianism take over, whether based on Communist, Socialist, or even religious guidelines, they proceed to murder and destroy. Sometimes they are motivated by a need for revenge for whatever injustices had been committed under the previous regime, sometimes by a fear of resistance by those they’ve just dispossessed, or by a belief that former ‘nobles’ or ‘bourgeois’ or ‘kulaks’ are unfit for living in the ‘fair’ and ‘equal’ society they plan to establish.

Then the conclusion varies. Sometimes it is a guillotine, at others a firing squad, or a rope. Sometimes, the means of murder are more exotic. Handcuffs with razor-sharp edges to slice the wrists, boiling alive in cauldrons, tearing off the head with bamboo wheels, mass-immolation, and so forth. At the end, indeed, the radical egalitarian succeeds in making all equal. Equal in death.

It’s not untrue that inequality is sometimes unjust. Sometimes, it is the cause, or the result of incredible injustice. But it cannot be obliterated entirely in a living species, much less in such as humans. The radical egalitarian is that villain who cannot stop at simply eliminating one form of inequality – if he could, he could be debated with, or negotiated with. His goal is nothing short but the complete transformation of all things, and his tool is mass-murder with which to make the transformation stick.

Often – not always -these vile creatures believe that their victory is inevitable. They believe it is brought about by some manner of ‘class science’, or by vengeful gods, or by some ‘historical laws’. For this purpose they will murder and betray not only their lawful kings, but even other Republicans, who are less radical than themselves, after they have served their goals. In the Icy Mountains Republic, Allanean soldiers are now protecting Moutnainese who have been surprised to find out that after they overthrew the rule of their King, the Communist faction had no need for them anymore, and has turned on them as well. Picture my lack of surprise.

However, no matter how strong their belief in this inevitability, these radical Egalitarians – whether they be called Taiping, Mythorians, Communists, or even ‘Anarchists’ – are wrong. We have found that even a small force of professional, well-trained, motivated men can save thousands of lives. A handful of good men, with good leadership, can shatter decades of planning by some aspiring People’s Leader.

By the Grace of the Gods, and the Will of my People, I am the Queen of Allanea.

I have seen the depths of evil to which these monsters will descend with my own eyes.

Where I can, I will prevent it. Where I cannot prevent it, I will stop it. Where I cannot stop it, I will avenge it.

As the Queen, I offer those of you who are willing to work on plans to counteract such crimes, the advice and assistance of my country, and where possible, money also from my own pockets.

As the Red Tide rises, we will be steadfast as a rock. We provide succor to those fleeing its bloody waters. We will be the cliff on which the waves shatter.

I have seen tyranny’s crimes.
I have shown Freedom’s power.
And in this great conflict, my royal cousins, I will help bring Freedom’s victory.

Berlin Palace, Berlin, Lotharia
The doors of the hall were flung open and a great blast of fresh, cold air rolled forth. Servants wielding large fans, styled in the likeness of a mamba, marched in. Behind them, an extravagantly dressed, fiftysomething African male stood at the opening, flanked by a column of five darkskinned warriors on either side. Each man was armed with a blunt, ceremonial khopesh; a kind of sword once wielded by the soldiers of Ancient Egypt. The implements were beautifully engraved with scenes from Yughana's creation story. A blast of trumpets and a roll of the snare drums heralded their arrival at the event.

As the mysterious figure strode into the room, the warriors followed, glaring at the other guests with obvious disdain. As the room fell into silence, the figure examined his surroundings. One of the warriors nodded to the man, who then proceeded to speak, "Royalty of the world, my name is Kariudiwa. I am vizier to Tadenikawo XII; Esinti, the morning star, source of the Tussubi River, god made flesh, son of Iranjti, master of all slaves and shepherd of all men under heaven. In your common tongue, I act as the representative of His Divine Majesty, the Emperor of the Yughanan Empire."

It is no secret that our country is one of isolation, but it would be reckless of us to dismiss these devilish entities, these thugs which dare to question the will of the gods, as mere threats to the existence of Yughana. Our realm has been anointed as the kingdom of the gods on Earth. As such, it is the opinion of Esinti Tadenikawo XII that it is the Yughanan Empire's divine obligation to rid the world of this plague. Upon the advice of the priests at the Temple of Safhetji, Esinti has judged it admissible for Yughana to break its isolation and rally in the divine defence of humanity against this latest manifestation of evil which threatens it."

"I wish that Phetsi bestows good health upon you all and I extend my thanks to the government of Lotharia for the invitation to this feast."

The Vionna-Frankenlischian delegation sat in silence, the suitably excited Judi Madison and the similarly enthusiastic Morgan Aston listening intently with Sir Rowan Henson sitting behind them, wearily looking around at the beautiful surroundings and haphazardly listening to the speech. The two diplomats, new to their jobs and young were lapping up every word of the Allanean, Carlosian and Lotharian speeches. Sir Rowan Henson was obviously less impressed, he leaned forward and whispered to the two others, "Well... The Allaneans have displayed their usual pomp and circumstance. I know very little about the Carlosians but they seem competent enough... The Emperor, however, must be some sort of charlatan. This isn't a war council, this is meant to be an international conference. If I know sensible diplomats and leaders, nobody here will join him in his mad scheme to unite all monarchies against other nations."

"How can you say that, Sir Rowan?" Judi Madison asked, "The Emperor is so passionate, he clearly knows what he is saying..."

"Don't assume too much, Miss Madison," Henson replied, "He doesn't know what he's going on about. There are many kinds of Monarchies, Democracies, Dictatorships, etcetera, etcetera... He's trying to sound like he knows what he's saying, I assume, to try and get people on side. I don't quite understand him yet, either he had a deeper plan or he is mad. This will be more interesting than I'd expected..."
New Edom wrote:Unwerth laughed. “Such hen lobsters are the Vionnans. But then, every Vionnan is half a sodomite."

Cassiopeia looked at the Emperor.

”My royal cousin,” – she spoke calmly, ”I am willing and able to provide assistance to those who are besieged by the forces of Jacobinism, and I have done so. However it’s not really true that all monarchies are inherently opposed to all democracy, and in fact forms of government are not so neatly divided as you suggested. I am of course, willing to help if there’s some horrid tyrannical nation threatening you, but there seems to be some complex overdramatization at play.”

Amha Selassie, the Ambassador from the Royal Republic, turned to Wudasee Roni, the Royal Affairs Minister.

"Does the Emperor not realize some monarchies ARE democratic? What if he wishes for a war of all against all? What will we say, Minster?"
"I'm sure the Emperor's rhetoric is just for show. He won't really want that kind of conflict. And if he does, His Majesty the Ras will NOT support it."

"But then we'll be force to leave this organization!'

"Your father would be ashamed. As a Nobleman, appointed to the House of Nobles by His Royal Majesty, he knows the importance of maintaining the monarchy above all else. You should also. No foreign power, whether enemy or friend, will be the end of the monarchy. If keeping His Majesty on the throne would mean withdrawing from all alliances and the World Assembly, I would do it. But if it came to violence.... I would rather us be a republic. Remember the Constitution! The people are free to decide through referendum if the monarchy should be abolished or not. That is what keeps the Crown alive: the love and devotion of the people, not despotism. I wish the others would realize that as well, especially the Emperor."

Agren-Pauin Yherin had been pleasantly surprised when she was given the command to head for this congress of Monarchies with her aid, Pauin Tren.

"Learn as much as you can, support the Emperor in any way he requires. Our goals rely on this proposed alliance succeeding. I rely on you to see this done." Queen Linwé's words rung throughout Eliz's mind. The Queen was relying on her, the Queendom was relying on her actions this day.

Finally, a chance to stretch her diplomatic legs with a people other than the member states of the Commonwealth. An event that almost never occurred. After all, Mesairien had not been a Nation, nor a people, of international intrigue for some time. For over half a century it had been their way to stay back from the happenings of foreigners, with their strange customs, angered words and crazed ideas of liberty and justice for the many, whilst still ignoring what they dubbed "the few", but what the Queen dubbed "her people".

But, that was the way of Queen Keirin the 4th. After watching Mesairien torn apart in war, after war against communists, imperialists and revolutionaries, it was only natural for a benevolent Queen to protect her people from the insanity of the outside world. But, it had been so long since the conflicts of old. A generation had grown. A generation, had forgotten. The young dreamed of the role they could play in the future of humanity. The role they could play in history.

Now, now was the time of Queen Linwé. She saw a world ripped apart by conflict - the route cause, tyranny by the masses in these Communist and Facist states, so blinded by their own arrogance they failed to realize the two are one in the same. But unlike her mother, she saw that someone had to show them a better path, the path to unity, strength and dominance. The mandates the Queens of old had built Mesairien and her Commonwealth upon. This was the path to bringing Mesairien back to the world stage.

The Monarchist Treaty Organisation and this congress were yet the first steps along this path.

Eliz had entered the conference chamber with minimal notice outside of the customary announcements. She may have been trained to be a diplomat, but her experience with the Commonwealth had been entirely the role of the Ruler, ruling the subjugated - even if the subjugation was entirely voluntary. Regardless of the Queen's views and motives, Eliz was here to learn as well as further her Governments goals. Whilst the Emperor stumbled and chose foolish words, and the typical offended voices rose in contention. Eliz remained silent. Even whilst the Emperor attempted to maintain his composure and rouse the room. Eliz still remained silent.

The Queendom had only recently signed the treaty formalizing their participation within the MTO and with the organization being finalized at this very congress, one wrong word could not only bring the conference down but jeopardize the Mesairien position within the overarching organization.
Whilst she was sure the Emporer might appreciate words of support, she doubted very much so he would need it. He was en Emperor afterall.

This was a time for Eliz to hang back and learn. Later would be the time for her to speak and act on the behalf of the Queendom and the world's Monarchies.

Ambassador Yin Hei came into the meeting, sat down, and politely listened to the others talk.
As he listened, he asked for some tea from the servants walking around.
For as much as he can tell, everyone is talking about "Constitutional Monarchies and maybe Communism and Anarchism", which he, currently, has no say.
"Good day, Emperor Maximillion Vynarum and everyone. What is this discussion that has caused quite a bit of argument?" he asked.

Traditionally, Allyria had always isolated itself from other nations - after the war of 1975 when many of Allyria's eastern provinces were ceased by a bloodthirsty Communist Dictatorship many in the Ruling Houses of Allyria saw isolation as the best way to shield Allyria from drastic cultural and ideological changes. Protected by their navy and ragged terrain Allyrians have been content to remain in this state; preserving the nation while keeping outside threats at bay. The young heir to the Allyrian Throne, Princess Thyra Athaine; niece of the current king, saw this as damaging Allyria. Thyra was a young spirit - energetic and full of life. Having recently completed her Conscription period she thought it best to try and become the power behind the throne; to shape the nation in her image even before her ascension to the throne.

Her Uncle, Sindlanil III Allyrius, often referred to by many as Sindlanil 'the Great' was ageing. He was already Allyria's longest reigning King but his physical health was quickly deteriorating. Almost 70 years ago the young 20-year-old heir to the Duchy of Skjalland set out to free his nation from the tyranny of the Karthspiri Charter; the name which refers to the Colonial Government of Allyria. Although the war is long behind the Warrior King the wounds are still present and worsen every day. His young and promising niece, Thyra Athaine, and heir to the Throne persuaded him to attend a gathering of Monarchs.

A mear 20 years ago Allyria had been torn apart in a Civil War started by Communist Factions in the East. The war was brutal and tore families and cities apart; town vs town, city vs city, brother vs brother. After the war, the King forced the great houses to take a pledge to never again allow the nation to fall apart again. The young Thyra felt that by bringing the aging King here she was fulfilling that oath by not only protecting Allyria but all those who wish to have someone to look up to; a Monarch.

Months of work had gone into this and a small entourage had been assembled: The King, Thyra as well as a few Royal Guards for safety and extravagance. They entered the Palace quite silently and unnoticed, it was unusual for an Allyrian to venture too far from their homeland.
"Kelvjarárr él ekkith tilchaithjaral," muttered the King to his Niece
"Uncle, I know you speak little English and of your detest for other cultures but show some respect!", replied Thyra in a mildly panicked fashion for she had just insulted the King.
The King never missed a chance to give a large speech but in a room full of those who did not speak his native tongue he felt restraint, the shame of having to have his Niece translate overwhelmed him and he found it better to save face.

Kaimana Envatilia it was always thought she'd be joining her husband on the "throne" of their domain of Mazomba, the cluster of islands off Kuronami's coastline, once her father, Akoni would retire or die, if the stubborn old man would ever. But instead she was now being picked for this new assignment by the foreign minister and the Empress to be Kuornami's ambassador to the International Monarchist Congress. This beautiful island woman was ready and able to mix and mingle and represent her country with pride. After the stirring opening speech by the president she and her assistant stood up. Her assistant was another young woman, Halo Gates, a "mainlander" from Caloris.

"So ma'am what did you think?" Halo asked

"A bit heavy handed with the anti-communist rhetoric but moving regardless." Kaimana looked down at her assistant's note pad which was packed margin to margin with everything. "H-Halo, did you write the entire speech?"

"Her Majesty did ask for exact details of the meetings and speeches."

"Just relax you only need the basics. You're doing fine."

"Oh I'm just so honored to be serving under you, I mean that honestly. What your family has done for the Mazomba Islands."

"Time for all that later, my father's accomplishments are his own, I'm here to make my own mark for the Empire. In the meantime you're from Caloris, the nation's capital for the past century I shouldn't be surprised you were picked as my deputy."

"Honorable Hanamura says I'm the most useful because I know a few languages."

"Well I suspect..."

"I mean beyond the common of the Empire."

"Oh! Impressive. Well no need for us to chat with just each other, not that I don't like you, but we should start the mingle with the other ambassadors."

"Yes, Madam!"

Of the many people attending this congress and listening to the speeches, two held back as well.
One looked like he just flew a pirate movie set, his curly dark hair bound back and a tatoo snaking up the side of his neck, his beard well trimmed and cared for. He wore, of course, suit and tie, but no matter his expression, he always looked like he was about to cry havoc and plunder everything around him - with the exception of when he looked at his wife, who made the steel-hard Vizier and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Kyrenaia known as Hassan ben Sahid into a love-struck puppy.
The other was a woman, her short hair blonde, her eyes ruby-red. She was well-built, dressed in a dress, that emphasized that, a black cocktail dress, to be precise. But her attention was not on fashion or on who wore what, behind her dark sunglasses, Princess Fara bint-Dardan was collecting information for the purpose of their attending.
The student of politics, Princess and learner in worker's union was metaphorically on the payroll of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the purpose of gathering information about the Monarchist Treaty Organization, an organization the Sultana's Government was interested in.
There were a few big names, who had already spoken, Cassiopeia Blaken-Kazansky, Allanea's Queen, was amongst them, as was, of course, their gracious host, Emperor Maximillion Vynarum - a rather young chap for such an important position. However, who were the Kyrenaians to talk, when she ascended to the throne 45 years ago, Razia herself had not been that much older... age was not necessarily an indicator for the ability.
Still, the words spoken made it necessary to listen well.
"One thing's for certain...", Fara mumbled, watching Kariudiwa's antics without being amused, "...some of the people here sure how to make a show."
"Another op'nin', another show.", ben Sahid mumbled back, "What do you think?"
"There are many things, which need clarification, as so far all I see is unfocussed anger and unfounded suspicion against those, who do not belong to their us - both 'us' and 'them' in need of being defined.", Fara mumbled back, "And of course, who's neither." Ben Sahid raised an eyebrow. "Who's the enemy, who's the friend... and who's neutral. Neither friend nor foe."
Ben Sahid nodded and continued to observe.

The Allyrian Delegation had seemed to have found a corner to place themselves in. The ageing King seemed quite content in this solitude but something about it made Princess, and Admiral, Thyra Athaine. The young hair adjusted the Admiral's Hat to her ceremonial outfit before petitioning her Uncle.
"Elthrarr, ýls felmarin erdrashil tingínn Mónarchistal. Élir deshilrí él ýjtal-karatjárr íl ýlser vjallari kál meshr'ýls," uttered the young Princess, eagerly.
The King nodded sternly before replying in broken English and a thick accent, "We should even though it's out of character for us."

Thyra adjusts her Hat one more time, breathes deeply and kisses her necklace which bore a symbol of luck used in Allyrian religion, and tapped her glass - an attempt to get others to listen.

"It is a pleasure to be gathered here tonight, with you all. Firstly, I would like to thank our host the most serene Emperor Maximillian, for inviting us to this, may I say, well-prepared and seemingly spotless event. Secondly, I apologise but tonight I'll be speaking on behalf of my Uncle, King Sindlanil of Allyria, due to his lack of English speaking ability as well as severe pain caused by old war wounds. However, pleasantries aside we are gathered here for one reason; we all happen to be blessed by whichever Gods watch over our nations with the gift of ruling. Although we all view that responsibility differently, that is the single idea which unites us.
Of course, we cannot be gathered at a meeting of Monarchists without discussing the main global threat which we face; rampant egalitarianism and specifically the extreme Left-Wing. From what I have heard so far we seem to be whipping ourselves up into such a frenzy over an ideology led by corrupt middle-class professionals which shepherds our own subjects against us. Although the prospect is scary to most, we must not become paralysed by blind hysteria; for if we become blinded by our own fears of the lower orders are we not worse than the Socialists with their fear of us?
As the last true Monarchs in the world, we must hold dear the idea that we must take all of the peoples of our nations under our wing and not to chastise them or alienate them for that worsens the problem but we must instead show a good example and a better example of a Benevolent Monarchy which provides better for its people than any of the Left could ever dream of. Now, I am not saying that we allow these forces to subvert us but if we go around executing people for their political beliefs we are just as bad as the Left-Wing order from which we seek to protect ourselves, our Kingdoms and our peoples. We must not stoke the fires which burn beneath these ideologies but must instead strangle the fires with two things: time and strength.
By strength, I refer not to the Military or Political power but Moral Power. If we hold the Moral Highground our people, who share those morals with us, will look up to us and follow our example, turning their backs on the Left.
By time I refer to our greatest friend. There is one indisputible fact about the Monarchy and that is the fact that we happen to be the most ancient government form in the world. The world is build on the foundations of Monarchs which came before us; good and bad in their own rights but still Monarchs. If we can some this far than we can go further and outlast the immature, revolutionary, forces which oppose us. It is this idea which Allyria brings to this gathering, an idea of responsible and Benevolent Monarchy which rebuilt our nation after its brutal Civil War. It is this idea which I believe holds the key to our preservation in the new order of the world." The Admiral-Princess awaited eagerly for a response.

The Kyrenaians listened to the Admiral-Princess, first her pleasantries, then her actual point.
As she was finished, ben Sahid showed his approval of her points by clapping his hands, something he had not yet seen done here so far. No one used a simple gesture to show approval or disapproval or respect to the words of another person...
As he had finished, Fara rose to speak herself.
"You make very good points, Young Princess.", she spoke, using a term of great respect with 'Young Princess'. "A Benevolent Monarchy, or as we call it, a Ruler following the Furusiyya, is the way to be victorious - bound by wisdom and rationality, self-controlled and aware of both oneself and the own power." She let a beat pass. "To what you referred to as Strength and Time, I would like to add that, the Philosophy."
She looked into the round.
"Let us be honest with ourselves for a moment, which of the constitutional monarchs, who have 'the people' vote for their head of government, can say with all conviction and right, without lying to him- or herself, that said head of government is not chosen by 'the people' on a whim, by popularity and most likely looks as well.", she continued, "Do not answer that out loud, it's a rhetoric question. That, however, is the greatest failing of especially democratic systems: A democrat will want to stay in power for as long as he can and his whole philosophy will be centred around that and only that in the dogged pursuit of popularity to survive the next election. His philosophy... becomes the absence of a philosophy, as he will distance himself from his values only to keep power."
She made a small pause.
"We, however, we are not elected.", she spoke, "We, while popularity is nice, do not depend on it. We stay in office until death parts us from it, for the better or worse, which allows us to make unpopular decisions - but which are part of the Philosophy. We can uphold a philosophy, the third pillar of a Benevolent Monarchy."

Minister Roni turned to Ambassador Selassie. "Go ahead and speak."

The Ambassador, slowly, and nervously, tried to get the attention of the other delegates. After some time, they looked back at him.

"Emperor Maximillian, on behalf of His Majesty, Ras Emmanuel the 2nd, I thank you for the opportunity for our nation to participate in this gathering. We respectfully disagree with what Princess Fara has said, to a degree. We believe that monarchies can in fact harness this democratic concept of election to ensure that those who take the throne are absolutely prepared for their role and have the support of the people. Our own monarchy is an example of this: Brukean monarchs are chosen by an assembly of notable citizens, called the House of Nobles, and must prove to the Crown Council, through a rigorous examination, that they understand the Constitution and our system of government. The Council, too, make its decision through a vote. If at any time, the monarch fails to maintain their good character or rule in a manner consistent with our Constitution, they can be removed from the throne by that same House. Honorable delegates, we believe that an elected, constitutional monarchy provides safeguards against rule by the despot or the fool. It is not enough to be benevolent, or to have theoretical knowledge of what it means to rule, but prove to the people that they are worthy to actually fulfill the role that is expected of them."

“This is highly reasonable,” – stated Cassiopeia. “In the past few months we’ve seen severe violence done to monarchies and their supporters by extremist egalitarians, and we should be working together, to both improve the livelihood of our people and secure their liberty against predations.”

The Princess-Admiral looked around the room; pleased with herself. She once again contributed to the debate, "I would like to disagree on what Fara has said relating to a Constitutional Monarchy. In Allyria we have the three pillars of society, "Révine, Magisteré askj Rahlijé." Or as you would call it in English, "Monarchy, Parliament and Faith." In Allyria exists what is essentially a power-sharing agreement between Parliament and the Monarch. The Monarch, in some ways, controls the flow of power to the Parliament, which is elected except for 100 seats which remain in the hands of the military, as the Parliament also controls the flow of power to the Monarch in other ways. This arrangement has saved our nation from a lot of strife which otherwise would've enveloped the nation in the past. This is as we have what is essentially a Constitution called the Vvjarralár Rythjinn which date back to the founding of our nation. These documents allow Parliament to hold the Monarch to account for anything they do and vice-versa with the documents allowing the Monarch powers such as Parliamentary vetos and such. In short, it allows us to keep one another in check. Had it not been for this system in the past tyrants such as Kalvari "the Mad" never would've been removed from power and would've forever tainted the image of our royal family. In order to ensure for a truly enlightened and benevolent monarchy, we must ensure our nations have some checks and balances. Not to the point where our authority can be overridden easily but one which allows us to represent a good image of the Monarchy for future generations as well as to legitimise our rule through a popular mandate." The Princess-Admiral once again awaited for a reply.

Ambassador Selassie commented on the resolution. "We support the resolution overall, but we do question the relevance of the clause condemning nations with a first-use policy regarding chemical, nuclear, and biological weapons. Generally speaking, each nation has the right to determine how to defend itself."

The Princess-Admiral translates the proposal for her Uncle. He appears a little worried and startled before replying back in Allyrian.
"My Uncle finds the bill to be satisfactory in all but a few areas. Firstly, he believes that the ban on WMDs should be lifted from the resolution as it could potentially affect Allyria in future conflicts. Secondly, the bill must have provisions to ensure peacekeeping forces can be raised from member nations and exchanged in the event of an anti-monarchist uprising in any nation in-order to prevent it getting out of hand. Although we do not seek to, we must ensure that we allow ourselves the legal provisions to deal with insurrection in a Military manner if need be."

Eternal Lotharia wrote:
Officially moving onto then official creation of the resolution to condemn Communism, the actual clauses and writing,
not the discussion part.

The Emperor stood up and spoke.
"We have a very similar system, and we'd love to discuss it more, however the time for discussion is over. Let us officially begin writing the Anti-Communist resolution, so we can move on to more important matters. This is the currently proposed condemnation in it's current far from finished state."
He pulls out a piece of paper and begins to read it aloud.
Official International Monarchist Condemnation of Communism
Condemning the actions of Communists globally for creating bloodthirsty regimes that have neglected the health and lives of millions of their own people to achieve industrialization. Examples: Stalin, Mao, Pol-Pot, Kim Family.
Admitting that part of the blame lies in Monarchies and Republics for failing to propose an alternative option many would accept that would better their lives.
Criticizing the excuses of Communists and Communist Sympathizers support of these regimes as "Necessary to achieve equality for the workers."
Reminding that there are easier and less bloody ways of improving the lives of the working and middle classes instead of destroying the entire system which leads only to poverty for all.
Affirming the opposition of all involved in this congress to Communism and other forms of extreme Socialism, with the goal of bringing a better world whilst avoiding the disaster of Communism.
Condemning nations that use chemical, nuclear, and biological weapons first, regardless of the excuses, and affirming that they are the product of evil and tyranny, and that they are the worst of humanity.
Reiterating the right of each nation to national sovereignty.
Proposing a Monarchist-led effort to combat Communists and extreme socialists internationally through diplomacy, economics, and force.
Affirming the proposal of an International Monarchist Congress with a rotating Presidency be created and hosted in Berlin to combat the Communists and Extreme Socialists.
Recognizing the need of Monarchies to cater to the needs of their people and to look after them, and that the goal of the Monarchy chief among others is to ensure the prosperity of it's people and nation, not simply elevate one's family to power and to further increase that power.
Agreeing on a joint effort to help people in monarchies to ensure their prosperity and freedom of expression, and civil rights.

He folds up the paper.
"Is the resolution acceptable? We can have some debate and revisions and adding content to it and refining it, but overall does your nation officially APPROVE or DISAPPROVE of the resolution and it's purpose?"
OOC: Need help making the Resolution look better.

With the discussion moving onto other matters, namely a resolution, which looked more like a draft for one then an actual document... first of all, there were clauses in there, that simply did not matter in a condemnation of communism or communist systems, the condemnation of the use of WMDs and reiterating the national sovereighnity coming to mind.
Then, there was a rather glaring lack of substance to the entire thing, as well as a few things missing, for example the actual three parts of the Deed, Premise, Operative Part and Conclusion.
Finally, some phrases simply didn't sit right with the Kyrenaians and they were quite sure, that some of the other delegates would feel similarly. At least they hoped.
For them, it got a star for the effort, but there were many things to be done.
As such, ben Sahid spoke: "The Sultanate abstains from this vote.", he said, "Firstly, we are here to observe, not to decide. Secondly, some of the phrased used, for example the often spoken about usage of WMDs, do not sit very well with us. Thirdly..." He made a small pause to take in air. "...I would propose, that each government individually drafts such a document to the purpose outlined... it'll make it more personal and, as we can then push certain emotional buttons with our people, more effective towards them, because the ones this condemnation is aimed at don't give a damn either way."
He let a beat pass.
"Now, a unified peacekeeping force does sound like a good idea, Young Princess, but I believe, that we should establish that in another resolution, don't you think?", ben Sahid replied to the Princess-Admiral of Allyrije.

Eternal Lotharia wrote:The Emperor nodded.
"Very well, we will lift the ban on WMD's. However Lotharia itself will disapprove of anyone who commit first use, even it's closest allies. I hope that stance will be respected."
He gestures towards the big schedule posted on the wall.
Now however is the election of the secretary of documents for the MUO and MIC.
Announce your candidacy here, you each have ten minutes.
OOC: I mean ten minutes IC'ly.

Ambassador Selassie asked if more time could be devoted to crafting the resolution. "Not to throw off your schedule, but the resolution needs a lot of work. We second the comments made by the Sultanate's delegation. Do you mind, extending the period of discussion on said resolution? Or will there be more time later?"
