Let the arguments about specialization vs. generalization begin!

Well technically it depends on the exact situation of the country in question.
Do they have a big military? A small military?
What about possible threats? Mostly sea-based? Land-based? More enemies near by, or more enemies abroad?

Generally though if you have a smaller sized military (<200 combat aircraft) generalization is probably more effective than specialized, especially considering the logistics factor.

Though it's good to keep in mind that a lot of "multirole" aircraft are either excellent air-to-air fighters which can also drop a bomb or shoot an anti-surface missile (F-15, Eurofighter Typhoon, etc.), or attack aircraft that can track and engage enemy aircraft (F-35, Su-34, etc.).

I might be able to submit the CPAC-AJ/17 as a fighter but I'm currently thinking about a design and renaming it. I can't offer anything for the second aircraft becaus I only have teo-engined jet fightere in service.

EDIT: On the other hand, however, it would propably be unfair to have my equipment dominate all tenders for joint devlopment,

Just a note: I took a break from NS for a while, and I wanted to join again, but I wanted a fresh start. Hence Salderia. I'm still flushing out much of the canon and such, so please bear with me. 1A: rapid climb and ability to operate at altitude substantially in excess of 100,000 feet preferred.

1B: radar evasion preferred, catobar carrier operation preferred.

On 1A, we're looking at that aircraft become extremely heavy with the proposed service ceiling and then, we'll have to make the runway requirements so long to the point where only certain runways can handle it. Plus, the SR-71, had only a service ceiling of 80,000 feet. Trying to have a service ceiling that high in a fighter is going to have to rapidly redesign our whole air order of operations, IMO.

1B can be arranged.
