Roskians! Roskians! Listen to me now! We are under siege! Our friends, allies, be it PHALANX or ICN, are under attack! How can we settle for this!

Nearly 29 years ago, we pulled ourselves out of the most dangerous event in our time, the cold war against the Vastava Pact. The Vastava Pact no longer contends with Roski or her allies, not realisitically. Stasnov attempts to consolidate all the power it can, but it is a dying nation. But that is not our threat. Relations with the Vastava Pact, I feel, have dramatically increased, though partially in thanks with our ally, Srpska. But what happens now? Are we, Roski, going to be able to kick back and relax now, in the 21st Century?

No. Raise no doubts, the 20th Century was the Roskian Century. And now, we are in danger of losing the 21st Century. So who is our threat today?

Carloso. Specifically. Especially this extremely hawkish government run by Carl Tobin. Tobin threatened the ICN over Qubec - yet I head there tomorrow, unafraid. Tobin demanded to us, and Valdiu, to remove the Fifth Fleet Headquarters from Valdiu. Listen to me when I say this. I will not move the 5th Fleet from Valdiu, from Harvest, unless requested by the Valdian Government. Any threat of Military Force against the base will be seen, by me, as a threat of military force against Valdiu. And Tobin -- we will not move without a fight.

Roskians need to Rally, Rally behind themselves. Roski is not weak! Thirty years ago, Carloso was irrelevant, yet today it thinks it can contend with the Two Century Superpower! Roskian Dominance will last for a hundred years, and Roskians need to be willing to fight for their dominance.

Srpska - a nation who has done nothing to Carloso, who wishes to see peace between Roski and the Vastava Pact, now has the tyrant's troops on its borders. Carsodonia, the enemy of the ICN and of the Vastava Pact, was entered into PHALANX under Carloso's demands!

It is clear that our world is under threat. But Carloso operates under quick money. New money. This means a downfall is imminent, it should never be able to sustain itself, and most important, that the World can move on without Carloso, especially its economy.

So Roskians. We must return our dominance to this world! Roskians! Rally! For we are under siege! This World is under siege! The Balance is Threatened!

ARTICLE: MAJOR CLASHES AROUND CACHE VERSA, SENATE ACCEPTS REPUBLICAN COUNTER-OFFER

Earlier today, the Senate presented an offer of peace to the Republican partisans and First Legion. Three hours later the offer was officially rejected, and the First Legion broke the agreed ceasefire, assaulting the Arme-SF garrison at Cache Versa, the garrison are believed to have been wiped out, any survivors are expected to have surrendered to the Legion. In total, 2 000 men of the 23rd Arme-SF Carabinieri Brigade were stationed in the base. This loss to the Arme-SF resounded with the Senate, who received a counter-offer mere minutes before the attack began. The terms of the agreement can be read below. The Senate accepted the terms of the offer, to the surprise of more conservative Senators and particularly the brass of the SF.

Many speculated the Senate was capitulating prematurely to the Republicans, Consiliu Alexios Barthetiă spoke to reporters regarding the treaty. He called the situation "An extraordinarily difficult international situation," regarding an earlier conference regarding increasing tensions between Carloso and Roski, he told us "There is a legitimate possibility the ICN would become embroiled in an international conflict, in such an event the Rodina must be prepared to defend herself, continued hostilities with her own citizens would only serve to destroy Rodinan infrastructure and industry, in addition to crippling her military power." When asked about the surrender, he said, "It is not a surrender, the Republic and Senate came to a mutually acceptable solution to a very difficult situation," military analysts from the Rodina and abroad had called the likelihood of a Senate victory in a hypothetical civil war "Extremely unlikely," considering the relative strength of the Legions compared to the Arme-SF, in addition to the international intervention which was expected to fall almost exclusively in favour of the Republic.

TREATY OF KISLIC

Article 1-
The treaty calls for immediate cessation of hostilities in all areas currently under the administrative control of the Senate and People of the Rodina. Any dissatisfaction with the government will, in future be handled in proper democratic processes.
Article 2-
The treaty calls for the Rodinan Senate and People’s Party to share these democratic processes with a Republican Party comprised of leaders nominated by the Republic of Grozav Inima. Any other parties may be created by citizens to represent their wishes.
Article 3-
Every 3 years a democratic election must take place to determine the structure of the Senate.
Article 4-
The Strajui de Fier will maintain its position as a civilian organisation, however the Paramilitary Arme-SF will be disbanded.
Article 5-
The emperor may only interfere in the Democratic process in times of crisis as determined by public referendum.
Article 6-
The political institution known as the Senate and People of the Rodina will be known in the future as the Imperial Republic of Grozav Inima.
Article 7-
All businesses and media outlets will be completely privatised.
Article 8-
Grozav Inimă will remain a member of the International Coalition of Nations until a referendum can be held regarding the nation's continued membership.
Article 9-
The public rights to own firearms, land and businesses shall not be infringed.
Article 10-
The public right to freedom of speech, association and privacy shall not be infringed.
Article 11-
The police force will be restricted to five men per thousand and will be demilitarized by an independent commitee.

The Emperor has unsealed from his chamber, and accompanied by armed guards he called the new administration, "A more equitable and stable political institution for the nation." he also said "The minute chance of a Senate victory is not worth destroying our economy and dooming our nation to the third world, the new administration allows the established power of the Senate and People's power to keep its influence in a fair and democratic way."

Almost immediately afterwards, the new political party formed out of the Republic of Grozav Inima spit into two parties, the first being the Republican party, and the second being the Grozav Iniman Liberty Alliance, the split is believed to be regarding fundamental differences in Republican ideology which Senate analysts were not aware of. More parties are expected to form as time progresses.

VCP Attack Breaks Defensive Lines

In a sudden and dramatic attack VCP forces smashed through the lines via a shallow spot in the Gerblast river. They encircled and utterly defeated the defensive lines, the government has now issued order 70, the first time the order was issued which allows the military to use whatever means needed to fight back. Riots broke out later this afternoon protesting the images released by the VCP of the reported mass graves, hundreds of civilians flooded the streets and began looting shops as well as throwing rocks at riot police. This sceen unfolded in several other small towns, clearly emotions run high whilst a online petition demanding the release of Sal Kar operations files which are deemed top secret. Although on a positive note the riots were stopped roughly in a hour or two thanks to the highly trained police force. The main force will be arriving to the front to help fight which has only grown, the attack and sophistication leads to only one person, General Surov who has defected from the state to fight for the VCP. Bombers flew sorties to carpet bomb the forests as well as level structures where VCP troops could be using to house gear although there wasn't any confirmed kills. One fact is true, we are in a state of war, may the gods be smiling at us.

BREAKING NEWS: LEFT PULLS OUT OF GOVERNMENT COALITION; SDP LOSES MAJORITY AND DISSOLVES GOVERNMENT, CHANCELLOR CALLS FOR ELECTIONS ON MARCH 30TH; COULD KNF WIN THE MOST SEATS?

Left leader Inga Landrut announced her party would pull out of the coalition yesterday

BREAKING NEWS: JUST HOURS BEFORE MIDNIGHT, Deputy Chancellor and Minister of Finance Inga Landrut announced her party, Left, would pull out of the SDP-Left coalition government, leaving the Social Democratic Party 20 seats short of a majority in the National Assembly. The move was announced via video on social media, where all 32 of Left's Members of the National Assembly (MNAs) announced they were joining the opposition and that they urged the party's supporters to support and accept the decision, which was apparently made weeks before in a secret conference.

An emergency meeting of the National Assembly was called at one in the morning, with all 300 MNAs attending. Chancellor Lena Böhnstadt there announced that she, as the constitution allowed her to do so as Chancellor, was dissolving the 12th National Assembly, with elections for the 13th accepted unanimously for March 30th.

During the announcement, Landrut cited a growing rift between the two coalition parties caused the end of the coalition. Numerous disagreements over the budget; Left's anti-ICN and anti-military stances that conflicted with SDP's views and overall little compatibility between the two caused the end of the coalition; as well as the cabinet reshuffle in November 2015 that saw the amount of Left Ministers reduce from 7 to 2.

At seven this morning, on Kradowskan television show Morning Kradowska!, political journalist Marie Kurowska stated she firmly believed the Kradowskan National Front would become the largest party in the National Assembly, possibly taking up nearly all Kradowskan seats. In Kradowska, the KNF topped the opinion polls with a peak of 78% support last week, up from 61% in the previous poll, after months continuously being around the 60% mark. Kurowska said that the chances were very high, as Left and SDP would probably each gain half of Östenlund, with National losing many of it's already few seats. The large majority won by the KNF in the Kradowskan General Election some months ago also showed the party would become a driving force in national politics.

Katrina Chmielowski, leader of the KNF, announced on Östwehn Funk 1 just hours ago that she would be contesting a seat in the new Kurowski-Central constituency and that she believed her party would grow from 3rd largest to atleast 2nd largest in the National Assembly, or even the largest. She said she would be open to forming a coalition with either Left or the SDP, as long as they agreed to support a vote on full Kradowskan autonomy and they would back her as Chancellor.

However here at the National Times worry about the possibility of KNF as the leading government party, as it could lead to an unfair representation of Östenisch in the cabinet and it would not represent both Östenlund and Kradowska. In the 2012 elections, when National won a 175-seat majority, the entire cabinet was Östenisch. This caused huge rioting and protests in Kradowska, including the attempted assassination of former Chancellor Markus Köler and, worrying the outbreak of violence in Kradowska, he called the elections in 2013, where the KNF débuted with 40 of the 150 Kradowskan seats, and the SDP and Left forming a coalition after National lost 150 of their seats.

With elections just three weeks away, it's clear the political landscape of the nation will be changed forever. KNF set to sweep up most if not all Kradowskan seats; Östenlund will become a battleground for the Social Democratic Party and Left, but the most important goal for these parties is to become friendly with the KNF in order to form a stable government. However, a lot could happen in three weeks, and the slight increase in support for National could gain traction and shoot up if they targeted those in favour of preserving the union.

Carsodonian-Srpska Crisis and current world issues

Carsodonian President Vladimir Voloski emphasizing the still ongoing Crisis^

Today on CIN! President Vladimir Voloski has brought up the still ongoing crisis between Srpska and Carsodonia, If you do not remember a Carsodonian CFJ-41 was reported by the Srpskian government to have flown over the border between the to countries, In response Srpska launched a Surface-to-Air missile hitting the jet and killing both pilots instantly. In response to this President Voloski Ordered a retaliation strike of artillery into Srpska. This then increased the tension level eving getting the Roskians involved with bulking up their presence in Srpska. This crisis as a whole got out of hand way to quickly and could of costed even more lives then it has, lets see what President Voloski has to say about it, "Now with the concern of the still ongoing crisis between the nation of Srpska and Carsodonia, something does need to be done, otherwise im sure the tensions will reach an all time high causing both sides to take irrational actions. But as long as Roski continues to build up forces in Srpska and Srpska continues it's aggressive nature, Carsodonia will keep its troops on high alert along with our increased border guard. Carsodonia will not back down to threats from Roski or Srpska..."

In other news President Voloski has also given his stance on the current alliance issues throughout the world of Atlas so here he is, "Now as for this Roskian base in Valdiu, The very fact that a PHALANX member is housing a ICN force in its waters is completely insane along with completely irresponsible. Not only is Valdiu housing a ICN member but is housing the Roskian 5th Fleet itself. Roski has always been and will be an aggressive state to all nations that are not aligned with it's political views or intentions. Roski will for sure be using a Phalanx member's waters to push it's agenda that is even against Phalanx itself!The fact that Valdiu in saying no to Carloso and deciding to keep the Roskian base in it's waters is showing that Valdiu does not care for PHALANX or what we stand for. In response to this blatant disrespect towards PHALANX the Carsodonian 2nd Fleet currently stationed in Carloso will be put on high alert and will be keeping a close eye upon the Fale Ocean, that is all..." Republika Srpska looking forward to join the Vastava Pact; Premier urges to have the Roskian military out of Srpska

It's been announced that the Socialist Federal Union of Republika Srpska is looking forward to join the Vastava Pact, an alliance that suits Srpska's ideology rightfully. The Premier of Republika Srpska, Slobodan Popović, announced this at a speech today, in which he also involved Roskian Military, that is currently stationary in Srpska:

Dear Comrades,
Today I officially announce that our country, Republika Srpska, is looking towards joining the world-wide known Vastava Pact, also known as VasPac and the VP. This decision is known that it will affect our relations with the Federal Republic of Roski and quite possibly might break the alliance, but for far too long the Roskians have had their military forces inside Srpska, today is that day to make a decision: Will we 'kick out' the Roskian Military out of our country or let it stay while we desperately try to join the Vastava Pact? My opinion is that we do have the Roskian military out of Srpska if we are looking forward to join the VP. If any action committed by the Roskian Military Forces is committed against the Srpskan government will result in a immediate relation cut. Even thought Roski was one of our long-time allies, it is time for them to leave Srpska. I as well hope that the Roskian government understands our decision to join the Vastava Pact and to pull their military out of Srpska.

The Premier as well addressed the people about the on-going military situation on the Carsodonian-Srpskan border (also known as the 2015 Carsodonia-Srpska border clashes):

The on-going military situation on the Carsodonian-Srpskan border started all on the 14 December, when a Carsodonian Air Force violated Srpskan airspace, we gave the pilots severe warnings but they did not respond, so a surface-to-air missile was fired and destroyed the enemy plane instantly. This was literally defence of national airspace, and the Carsodonian authorities still deny that. In the early morning on the 15 December, the Carsodonian Ground Forces responded with a artillery strike on Srpskan territory. We found at least 30 dead civilians on the borders, and several damaged & destroyed houses. We only decided to deploy troops on the border for security. I am looking forward to end this border crisis between Carsodonia and Republika Srpska as soon as possible.

NATIONAL LAUNCHES 'NATIONAL BLOC', COMPOSED OF NATIONAL, SEVERAL INDEPENDENTS AND UNITY

National Bloc uses National's party logo

National launched last night at a party conference the 'National Bloc', a bloc of parties and independents that favour the preservation of the union between Östenlund and Kradowska rather than the end of the union, led by National's leader Andrej Luchowski, who has led the party since 2014 and has served in the National Assembly since 1982. The bloc is currently composed of all of National's 25 seats, the one seat that Unity holds (they were elected as independent, became part of Unity in 2015) and one independent. The bloc does not hold any other political ideology other than their goal to stop the further breakup of Östenlund-Kradowska and to repeal and abolish the National Parliamentary Act 2009, which established the Kradowskan Parliament and the Östenisch Parliament, with the former already operational and the latter due to begin to function in 2018.

The bloc has already set out campaigning. In the early hours this morning, hundreds of campaign posters for Unity and National and independent candidates that were members of the bloc were hung up around Östenlund and in some parts of Kradowska. National represents the right-wing 'preservationists', a term used to describe one in favour of preserving the union, whilst Unity represents the centrist preservationists. Many independents that are part of the bloc are expected to join Unity, as most align with the centre, a part on the spectrum that is very poorly represented in Östen-Kradowskan politics. A notable point is that no left-wing politician or party is part of the bloc, however rumours have spread that several left-wing preservationists are to join the bloc, both new-comers contesting for the first time and outgoing politicians.

The bloc could gain significant ground in Östenlund; Unity representing the centrists and centre-lefts, National always the favourable party for the nation's right-wing, and several independents the favourable choice in their constituency. While the bloc is certain to not win a majority, it will more than likely win enough to make some noise in the National Assembly. Only time can tell; it is the first time in the history of Östenlund-Kradowska that a bloc of parties has been formed, meaning this could be the gateway to the formation of more blocs within the Assembly.

Hours after the Vonverian Communist Party stormed through governmental lines, President Artur Maksimov authorized airstrikes against the VCP, targetting strongholds and offensive troops. For the first time since 1980, Roski is involved in a "serious confrontation" over the future of Vonver. Maksimov warned that the "Vastava Pact's Influence over the VCP should only be influence, and not aid" or that "serious consequences" would follow. Secretary of Defence ....

Maksimov to Voloski: Remove your troops from the border

Artur Maksimov demanded that Carsodonia's forces be removed from the Srpskan-Carsodonian border after it mobilized following Srpska shooting down a fighter craft in its airspace. After Voloski denounced and threatened force against Valdiu, who vowed to let the Fifth Fleet stay in Harvest, Vice President Konstantin Vasilyev called the state a "rogue entity supported by an aggressive power" and called for "ICN, VP, and PHALANX to align against the backstabbing power" and that "Srpska, Vastava Pact, and PHALANX be prepared to defend itself" from Carsodonia. The Department of Foriegn Affairs called for the Vastava Pact and the ICN to embargo Carsodonia entirely.

Full Congressional Approval - Roski accepts Grozav Inima as successor state of Rodina

Roskian Military Forces went into high alert as Rodina seemed to be ready to spiral into civil war, but after sucessful negotiations, the former government fell apart, and the new one was created, with many new democratic policies. The Roskian Government stated that it will pledge the full support of helping build a democratic state, saying that "in troubling times, democracies have difficulties, outside pressures, that were not present when our own government came into being. We will assist them in best we can, helping to keep the democracy stable"

Barechecku class dismissed, Navy orders 54 more Roski class destroyers

Stale Mate At Front, Kayos At Home

Thanks to Roskan help the lines are now stalled with no side gaining ground. Any attack leads to failure however the VCP can't break the lines. However later that day there were several breaches in the lines, it's not confirmed rather or not the VCP troops were killed that had escaped. The recent supposed mass grave which was reportedly discovered before the dirt was filled in. With riots near dusk hours boldly refusing the curfew set by the declaration of martial law. It seems the entire country has gone mad with anger and a lot are demanding the government release secret documents on the Sal Kar which the Schur has officially stated that top secret material would be a threat to national security. The riots and protests are also demanding the current government be removed in favor of the old Communist government, but so far the Schur remained firm in his promise to keep Vonver safe from Communism. Currently though the police force is over stretched and is struggling to keep up with the rioters which are destroying and looting stores as well as government facilities including an attack on The Rock which was broken up. However one fact is certain the VCP has opened a can of worms the size of Vonver itself to bring into question the future of the State itself.

Stall at the Front

Today there is a stall at the front but we had breached the line in several spots, General Surov is confident the lines will fall apart under constant attack. Several operatives of the Red Guard were successfully inserted behind enemy lines as the people are starting to wake up and see that the oppressive government is raping the Vonverian people, sub-par wages, poor working conditions, massive corporations that don't care about it's workers. It's time we rise up and take back our freedoms!

KRADOWSKAN NATIONAL FRONT FORMS POLITICAL UNION WITH LEFT; KATRINA CHMIELOWSKI ANNOUNCES PLAN IF SHE FORMS A GOVERNMENT

Chmielowski announces the political union formed between the KNF and Left; Inga Landrut was not present

Kradowskan National Front and Left have formed a political union, also commonly referred to as a bloc, hoping to win the upcoming elections. The decision was made over a week of secret meetings between party officials, before terms being agreed upon last night and this morning it was announced. The KNF-Left union is now the second political union to emerge in Östenlund-Kradowskan history, just days after National and several other partys and independents formed the National Bloc.

Chmielowski also noted SDP was a participant in talks, but dropped out just after the first session. Chmielowski cited conflicting beliefs between it and SDP; whereas Left shared many beliefs with the KNF. However, the move may not be a popular choice in Östenlund for Left; however only time will tell, with opinion polls to be held tomorrow and released Wednesday.

SDP is now stuck in a difficult place; join the National Bloc or go solo. If it joins the National Bloc, it could possibly gain in the polls however the party would internally fall apart, as the party's members are split on one belief: For Ö-K to become a federation or keep the union as it is, the former becoming more and more popular. This is the main reason the SDP does not have an official stance on the separation of Kradowska and Östenlund.

However, in a different light, the Federalist Party is now leading the polls in the constituency of Tyrolande-Nordöst, where it held a seat from 2000 to 2013 before losing to SDP. It is believed the Federalist Party will return to the next government with the Tyrolande-Nordöst seat, where the party leader is contesting.

Voting for the first ever Grozav Iniman Election began at 9am today, however proceedings were interrupted as disbanded elements of the Arme-SF, internationally described as "Hardline Fascists," marched on the Palatial Senate Building where all Parties met in anticipation of election results. Thankfully, the First Army (formerly the First Legion) were on high alert in anticipation of more unrest during the proceedings. At least 700 ex Arme-SF attempted to storm the PSB, however after a three-hour long siege, the Army was able to repel the attackers after losing 60 soldiers and reportedly killing 80 counter-revolutionaries. After the terrorists withdrew from the PSB siege, they occupied the Headquarters of the Grozav Iniman Ground Forces, 450 workers in the building were taken as hostages, while a further 150 were executed on a video broadcast to internet sites, allegedly for treason. Soldiers began a siege of the Headquarters, and began to attempt to storm the building when the executions started, reported all Arme-SF terrrorists were killed in the ensuing firefight, with numbers as yet uncounted.

Reports also indicate at least three polling booths across the nation have been subject to bombings, which were claimed by Arme-SF terrorists. Increased Security has been allocated for the protection of the democratic process, but many believe that today's events were simply the dying throes of a disgusting organisation. Others, however, believe elements of the Arme-SF fled overseas, most likely to Vonver, Versail or other Fascist nations across Atlas. Whether this is true remains to be seen.

However, after a shaky few hours, the continued election went smoothly, and the parliament has been declared. The Senate and People's Party won the largest amount of seats per party, at 37.4% of the vote, while the Republican party came a close second at 32.1%. However, the Liberty Alliance and Grozav Iniman Independence Party both expressed interest in forming a coalition with the Republican party, which brings the total percent of the vote to 46.5%, which is still not enough to form a majority in the Senate.

In response to the Republican Coalition, the Wacel National Party proposed giving their votes to the Senate and People's Party, which brings the total amount of votes for the SPP to 41.9% of the vote. As the SPP received the largest shar of the vote, ex-Dictator Alexios Barthetiă will be the first President of Grozav Inima, however, as the Republican Coalition control the most seats in the Senate itself, Barthetiă is expected to have a difficult administration, unless he can win over other minority parties such as the Strajui de Fier Party and the Neo-Reactionary Organization.

In his inauguration speech, Barthetiă thanked the people of the country for their gracious forgiveness of the "unfortunate events" of the Dictatorial era. Some claim that the President should not have allowed to run as a candidate due to his ties to the old Regime, however, the peace deal struck between the RSPP and the Republicans clearly stated that the existing regime would be allowed to involve themselves in the democratic process. The President also thanked Roskian President Maksimov for recognising the new administration, (even if, as some point out, it is almost half the same administration), he also said that both main parties are mostly pro-ICN, and that the nation would show no disloyalty to their international friends who largely predate the Regime.

Valdian Navy conducts exercises near Carsodonian bases

The VCS Philip Walsh and the VCS Todd Fraser sailed out of P/VFB New Carlingford Monday and sailed north towards Carsodonian bases up the coastline. Once there, the two ships proceeded to perform high-speed maneuvers and firing exercises.

The firing exercises took place 15 miles off the coast, though on the high-speed maneuvers the ships ventured to within 500 meters of the entrance to the Carsodonian base while moving around civilian and military traffic. Additionally, RIA sharpshooters embarked aboard the ships' helicopters conducted target practice.

The Navy of the Republic of Valdiu has yet to release a statement regarding the nature of the exercises or the Carsodonians' response, though analysts believe this to be an "angry show of force" in response to a Carsodonian condemnation of Valdiu following Sterling's cold refusal to shutter Roskian Naval Base Harvest, where the RSS Tripton is homeported and the Roskian Fifth Fleet is headquartered.

"The most damning piece of evidence here is the flag," says David Elm of the Teakwood Defense Center. "This flag [being flown by the two Valdian ships] is 20 feet by 13 feet - the largest size that Valdian ships are authorized to fly, and they are only to fly it when ordered. The flag is usually flown during shows of force, during times when the message is that 'Hey! Valdiu is here, and we're stronger than you.' Even the Valdian task force in Qauwa hasn't flown this flag, and it likely won't."

Tensions are bound to rise, says Elm, especially with such an "overt display of dominance" on the part of Valdiu. According to other analysts at the TDC - namely, Pamela Shires, senior TDC political analyst - such an assessment is correct. "Either the gamble here - either it pays off or somebody's gonna start shooting soon," said Shires. "Carsodonia is stubborn as a bulldog. They're not gonna back down. The administration here is playing a hand it cannot afford to keep. I think we can expect a lot more action from the Second Fleet in Carloso soon."

Roski to remove all troops from Srpska by 2017

Hours after Srpska requested that all troops be removed from the nation, the President called for an emergency meeting. Many, including the Secretary of Defence, initially stated that the Srpskan request, and reason behind the request, should be met with military force. After several hours of hushed doors, and fears of a war between Roski and Srpska, Artur Maksimov publically announced that Roskian troops would be moved out of srpska and based on "current threats", including the moving of the Roskian 3rd Fleet. Maksimov also stressed that Roski and Srpska should remain allies, in order to assist cooperation between the International Coalition of Nations and Vastava Pact.

Violent Riots Continue

This has been the third day that the riots and protests have been continuing, a good majority support overthrowing the current government in place of a more socialist government. The state is urging people to stop the protests since it's only making the situation in the north harder to fight and stretching the resources thin, roughly 120,000 soldiers as well as tanks and TAV's were sent in today to try to break up the riots which only caused violence and bloodshed beyond imagination. Although no official casulty report has been released yet the Schur released the following statement, "those who seek to destroy the state will get what they deserve." The harsh words making a already tense situation worse especially with the stale mate on the front, the People's army commanded by general Surov is putting up a tough fight however the generals are confident in the fact that the stale mate will be broken in a matter of days. But one this is true, the fighting has caused old problems to come back, a lot of cities look like war zones with all of the brunt out cars and smashed windows from the riots.

Bratislav leaves IFC ; intends to join PHALANX

In major address to Parliament, President Albert Gregorev highlighted Bratislav’s foreign policy priorities and intentions. He emphasized that Bratislav’s departure from IFC stemmed from the fact that the alliance is no longer suited for Bratislav’s national and security interests. The departure from the IFC came as Bratislav prepares to enter PHALANX, a defense organization holding some of Bratislav’s closest allies such as the Federal Republic of Carloso.

“Our country has enjoyed enormous stability and security despite the tumult we have seen in the region and the world. It is our priority to continue to defend this stability and punish anyone that may threaten our well-being. The Vastava Pact, like the leftist organizations of the past, continues to threaten regional security - we are troubled by what we see - and our proximity to the Vastava Nations only heightens the priority of our ascension to PHALANX. I can confirm that our full application has been sent to the PHALANX and we await response from the organization.” said the President.

Experts note that Bratislav’s proximity to several Vastava Pact aligned nations would provide PHALANX with an important foothold, and many PHALANX are former IFC nations that already hold close defensive ties with Bratislav. While President Gregorev is a hard-lined conservative often known for his hawkish views, his administration has taken a surprisingly moderate and passive role in the international sphere. Some tie this moderate behavior to the upcoming parliamentary elections where the current ruling right-wing Nationalist Union is in a close tie with the centrist Free Democratic Party for control of the Parliament.

The President also assured that Northern Paldavia would be returned to Bratislav: “ I would like to assure the nation that the process of unification with Northern Paldavia will be complete. Our brethren will come back to the fatherland! This democratic process is irreversible!”

Some Bratislavians, however, fear that with Northern Paldavia absorbed into Bratislav, Southern Paldavia will take an anti-Bratislav stance and align itself with Vastava Pact. Southern Paldavia has been a hotbed of Leftist Activity, but such activity was hampered by the stronger, pro-Bratislavian Northern Paldavian power.

The President also used the address to commend the work of the ruling party in advancing the country’s economy and embarking on very crucial economic reforms. President Gregorev is preparing to open a large free trade zone areas in the northwest coastal region of the country that is to boost economic activity and trade for the country. The Government has also delayed a long awaited weapons revitalization program that President Gregorev has promised to carry through.

PROMINENT KYŪKOKAN POLITICIAN TAMAYO FUJIMURA ENDORSES KNF-LEFT ALLIANCE

Prominent Kyūkokan politician Tamayo Fujimura endorses the KNF-Left alliance

Tamayo Fujimura, the Deputy Chancellor of Kyūkoku and previous Kyūkokan Ambassador to Östenlund-Kradowska has endorsed the political union of the Kradowskan National Front and Left, claiming it was the "best possible path for the happiness of the people and development of the nation". She endorsed it first on social media, and reiterated the endorsement hours later at an interview with the Kyūkokan National Paper.

Fujimura leads the Democratic Left in Kyūkoku, which is the smaller party in a coalition government with the larger Progressive Democrats, elected in 2010. Kyūkoku is to hold elections this year, although it is unclear when, however they must be before December 1st. Her own party is battling with the Democratic Party at the polls, however her party is beginning to stay in the lead longer, currently leading at 40%, 5% over the DP, whilst coalition partner PD has collapsed to 9%.

Fujimura says independence isn't necessarily a bad thing, Kyūkoku gained independence from the Silluric Union (Federation that preceded Östenlund-Kradowska) in 1966 and it in fact benefited Kyūkoku, and when Qauwa seceded in 1966 it did not stump it's growth; and when Llqata seceded in 1973 it too did not slow in it's growth. She says that economically both nations would be safe if the union were to be broken, and both could be more politically stable. However, she notes, a transition from a unitary state to a federation would also be quite viable.

Opinion polls are set to be released tomorrow.

The first cabinet in the Senate has been deliberating since it's conception regarding incredibly important external matters, including rising tensions with PHALANX, Srpska's decision to join the Vastava Pact, the Crisis in Vonver, and the sudden rise in PHALANX membership.

President Barthetiu told us "Things are not going well for the Coalition," he also added "I believe the civil unrest scourging ICN members is a concerted effort by one or more of our political rivals, seeking to capitalize on the instability and sap strength from the ICN." When asked if the recent revolutions in Grozav Inima were simply a ploy by foreign powers to take advantage of a difficult situation in Grozav Inima. "It certainly started out that way, if you remember, PHALANX was certainly trying very hard to align the Republic with itself, of course, as the civil war never truly became a war, their attempts were futile. So no, I do not believe recent events in Grozav Inima are aiding the enemy, either directly or indirectly." The proposed embargo of Carsodonia has also been rejected this morning, and the President stated "Carsodonian Aggression against a Vastava Pact member is no concern of ours, however, should Carsodonian Aggression continue to its other neighbours, the Senate would seriously consider an embargo."

The first subject the President chose to speak about was regarding the rising tensions with PHALANX, as well as their surprising boost in recruitment. "There is no doubt in my mind that the situations in Grozav Inima and Vonver are connected to this sudden rise in PHALANX's power. Carloso was shaken by the threat Roski posed to it, it's now looking for a counterbalance to the strength of the ICN-- I would like to point out, all the violent unrest in the ICN take place in VAZCOM, which is also where most of PHALANX's new members come from, Carsodonia and Bratislav." We asked the President if the cabinet had some sort of plan for a global conflict between ICN and PHALANX. He replied solemnly, "Of course, we must, the Republican Defence Force are still ironing out the details of the, very classified, Case Red, which is the plan of war against PHALANX, whilt Grozav Inima can hope to do very little permanently in the course of the war, our first military priority should be securing our own defence." In addition to this talk of military matters, the President took the time to denounce Carloso and Supreme Chancellor Carl Tobin. "Your international meddling and aggression is an affront to the civilized nations of the world, you cannot dictate whom the Coalition may admit, while you yourself have been admitting aggressive and unreliable states on our very borders. You are a hypocrit and a disgrace to the governments of the world, thank you."

However, before he was to leave, President Barthetiu called the crisis in Vonver, "An extraordinarily grave issue, which must be rectified immediately, at any cost. The risk of another Vastava Pact nation on the ICNs already thinly stretched borders would be geopolitical and military suicide. To this end, I will travel to Vonver to speak with their parliament, and hopefully iron out a deal which will be able to restore stability to the nation without conceding an inch to the Communists. To that end, the 4th Armour Battalion will be prepared to defend Vonver from the Communists should peace talks fail. While this is occuring, the newly formed Red Iniman party, which is abhorrent in the eyes of all of Grozav Inima, will be banned from the polling booths and its hierarchy will be deported to Ordia, let them live in a communist country if that is what they want."

Following these announcements, opinion polls of Barthetiu skyrocketed, with the amount of those happy with the President's administration reaching 74%, and those satisfied reached 90%. The Grozav Iniman Ground Forces also began military exercises on the Ordian and Dhechnian borders, a correspondent with the ISNS said the exercises were impressive, Jaguar tanks were deployed, as well as the new military rifle ASP-116, which is a local variant of the Allied Castarcian States SC-1 Rifle. Analysts suggest the move is to threaten both the Vastava Pact in Ordia and Carlosan forces in Dhechnia, ensuring that the enemies of Grozav Inima do not falsely believe that the recent unrest has in any way hampered the nation's military might.
