Alliance of Dystopias

[Cyberpunk Dystopia]

This is a defensive alliance that promotes intelligence sharing for nations that at minimum have a large precariat or migrant labor population, nationwide facial recognition systems, and have widespread internet censorship. Join if your nation agrees that freedom itself is the enemy and condemn the revolutionary projects that other nations support.

Joining will integrate your nation’s law enforcement databases into the Dystopia Information Sharing Network. It is an intranet with a database and wiki to share law enforcement or intelligence information with allied countries about subversive nongovernmental organizations or terrorists.

OOC: I'm a bit concerned. A dystopia literally means a 'bad place'. So while obviously bad places and dystopian nations exist, why would nations call themselves 'bad places' in-universe? Wouldn't joining such an alliance constitute a kind of self-admission? So maybe a different in-universe name might be desirable.

If it's a club of oppressive states call it Alliance of Autocracies/Totalitarian States or whatever.
