I used to have this reoccurring dream that an Azean Combine Hacker took over NationStates and turned the Major update into a murderous one.. it was gobbling nations up and spitting out nothing and all the defenders and invaders got together to try to save NS by making nations and sacrificing them to push update back (by popping nations into a region before it updated to keep the update preoccupied). Ballotonia was making thousands of nations a minute and was like "I always wanted to try this..".
We saved regions by putting nations in them -while- they updated (because those nations didn't register in the update and thus that kept regions alive), so we did that to save as many regions as possible, including TRR -- and then telegrammed all the delegates and founders to eject their regions (to save nations).
Then [violet] got back and restored the game with an old disk and like.. my main nation was still alive and stuff. Also, TITO gave me an honorary knight status (of all people) because I bought enough time for Grub to eject and ban the entire region ... okay this was like the coolest dream ever.
