Heads up... if you're part of the tour group, please post so we can get characters settled in. This will free them up to take part in stories.

Was hoping to get a Creepfest this year. Sadly, it just isn't happening.

With the exception of the Library, Gio's group, and Souls devotion to establishing his character ( :p ) do we have anything going on? Thought about dropping in a Zalgofest tomorrow. Good way to break the ice for new characters, plus gives us a fresh start on the setting.

Anyone interested?

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

Amanda and Anais are talking, and are about to review the last part of Raiders in the holodeck. Dunno if that counts.

Delayed would work.

I, completely forgot about this...

Highfort wrote:I see... It's all clear now. I have to keep going, to restore masculinity to the galaxy.

One day while he's crying, Dr. Creamed is kicked in the face by one of his cows. He's knocked out when his head slams against a rock, and in this dream he has a vision.

He has to fight the Go-Go pirates. He must acquire the Holy Turtleneck, and only then will Minerva's curse be broken so he may finally restore his boner and bed her, thus ending his unhealthy obsession with English women at dusk.

Leaving his beloved cattle to Bran, Dr. Cream takes up his old name and goes to find the one man who can put an end to his suffering, the one pony who holds with him the turtleneck that Dr. Cream requires to get his mojo back:

Willow.

Giovenith wrote:Score

The thunder of cannons near deafened Dr. Cream as he put all his muscle into keeping a deathly grip of the ship’s helm, the freight boat just barely managing to stay afloat as it leaned sharply to the left in a desperate bid to out-position it’s adversaries, the sequin-bedazzled crew in the back hanging on for their dear lives. Several party favors and dishes flew overboard, one of the many voluptuous, booted women aboard crying out as she just managed to grab ahold of her stripper friend, pulling her out of the glow-in-the-dark dance cage before it pulled her to the bottom of the sea.

The Throbbing Gristle slammed back upright as the Doctor finally managed to steer her on correct course, but it wasn’t long after that before the screams of his crew were replaced by an even less welcome sound: The savage warcry of jet-sleds and bongo drums.

“Give it up, ye bummer squares!” a command was issued over the cacophony, as a jet-sled raced ahead Cream’s ship carrying Captain Willow “Kool Kat” Streaks, adorned in disco glasses, beret, and what the Doctor sought most: The Turtleneck of Eternity. “You’re slated for crashville, maties! Surrender yeselves, and we may go easy on your bums! HAHA!”

The ship was soon surrounded by the somber-clothed, poetry-spouting enemies, armed to the teeth with portable cannons, harpoons, and thrift store copies of Jack Kerouac’s, “On the Road.” Cream considered fear, but we realized he’d come too far to back down on his goal, to be a man again.

“Surrender this, you salty unAmerican degenerates!” Dr. Cream veered the boat sharply in order to shake off the Captain, his jet-sled driver moving away to avoid being crushed. Chaos screamed around them all. His crew continued to blast “Carwash” in the back to distract from the terrifying circumstances while Willow’s crew continued to attempt to intimidate with mocking finger snaps.

“AGH!” a yellow-clad woman aboard the The Throbbing Gristle met a grisly end as a harpoon impaled her to the wall of the ship’s cabin.

“Maaaaaan!” someone, Cream wasn’t sure, cried out.

Yes, man… Dr. Cream closed his eyes, remembering the screams that had plagued his throat as he’d watched his sexy British goddess wilting like a rose in winter. No more. NO MORE. “I AM A MAN!” he screamed, thrusting the steering wheel to his first mate.

“Cap’n?! What are you- NO!!!” the cocktail-dressed first mate couldn’t stop him before Cream dove overboard.

He went beneath the waves, and for a moment, the chaos held it’s breath as pirates and Go-go patrons alike wondered whether or not the good Doctor, the mighty hero, had at last perished.

Then, at the last minute, the water burst forth as Cream launched himself, screaming, at a jet-sled. He collided into Captain Willow, throwing himself and the pony into the sea as the ship and pirates, taken off guard, raced ahead and left them there in the blue.

“This ends here!” Dr. Cream attempted to grab a fistful of the collar of the MacGuffin sweater, only to be punched away by Willow.

“NEVER!” the pegasus attempted to fly away, but was weighed down as our hero kept his full-arm grip on the scaliwag. Not to be deterred, the pirate captain continued to deliver blows upon to shake him off. “You’ll never escape, you hear me?! Never! You’ll be doomed to an eternity of celibate wussy-hood, there’s nothing you can do to earn back your boner!”

“That’s… what… you think!” Cream lurched upward to force himself atop the miniature equine’s back, forcing him to fall back down into the sea, where their battle continued.

Slowed by the water, Captain Kool Kat Streaks still put up a fight of trying to throw off the fallen lecher, with Cream holding on against all reason, fighting to dislodge the black turtleneck from the pony’s body. If he died trying, so be it! He was making progress, Willow knew he was losing, there was only one thing left he could do! He risked some his precious air to release a bubble cry into the dark waters, and soon the two were surrounded by a knew, etheral battle song: Shoo-bee-doop, shoo-shoo-bee-doop!

Bastard! Dr. Cream screamed in his mind. Madman! You’ve killed us both!

Having no more time to waste, Dr. Cream desperately clawed for a dagger at his belt - he ran a rip along the sweater’s back to at loosen it, at last claiming it from his sworn enemy! The Doctor delivered a kick to the grey devil to propel himself to the surface, sucking in air and calling upon his old college days to swim back ahead to The Throbbing Gristle as fast he could.

The day was won. But still, in the pit of his loin, he knew this would not be the last time him and his archenemy met…

At last, at long last...

Dr. Cream was drenched wet and limping, but proud. He shambled his way through the halls, ignorant of the stares the other residents gave him, until his knuckles finally wrapped upon the door. She answered. He smiled. She raised an eyebrow.

“I have returned!” he exclaimed blissfully, throwing out his arms in triumph. Seaweed and water dripped from the sleeves of both his soaked shirt and the mangled black sweater that he had forced upon his frame.

“Who the bloody hell are you?” Minerva spat.

“It is me, dearest sexy one. Doctor Cream. I finally did it. I completed my quest.”

“You’re ruining the carpet!”

“I finally took The Turtleneck of Eternity for myself!” Cream demonstrated, gesturing to the ripped collar of the ruined back sweater. “See!”

“Jesus christ, is that that Willow pony’s shirt?”

“I won it from him! That salty beatnik dog never knew what was coming! I’m pretty sure I gave him a scar, and all for you my love!”

“You beat up and robbed a little pony?!” Minerva did not sound pleased.

“Yes!” Cream exclaimed, falling to his knees with a wide smile, arms still outstretched. “And now we can make love!”

Minerva looked down at the doctor with a cold expression. She sighed, using the wind to take a drag from her cigarette and push out a big cloud, before rubbing it out on the doorframe and cracking her knuckles.

“Nein, nein!” Klaus suddenly rushed over the door, gently grabbing the cultist leader’s fist and lovingly cradling it. “Nein Knuddlemaus, let me handle this one.”

The red-haired Brit only grunted in return, rolling her eyes and slipping back into her home to check on the baby and Sophie. Klaus bent low to gaze into the eyes of Doctor Cream.

“Soooooo, you wish to try and take my Knuddlemaus from me, ja?”

“Who are you?” Dr. Cream’s arms finally fell to his side, looking bewildered.

“I’m just a simple German man, is all. And I was into British frau before it was cool… daddy-o.”

The last thing Doctor Cream saw was a war god’s fist colliding toward his nose, before everything went black.

I am possibly creating a CK2 character to put in this. And I think I've found a loophole in the "multi-paragraph post": keeping a journal and writing about experiences. Would this be acceptable? Said character is going to be a member of the Hermetic Society, dabbling in Theurgy and Astronomy.

Not much a loophole in keeping a journal/writing about experience as that is (mostly) an ooc one-shot post that helps to shape the char/add depth. Sure, you could do so in IC, however your char will need to be actively participating with the other Residents as isolating your char would only hinder character progress.
