So is there any set structure of hierarchy in Purgatory?

I don't think there is much of a nobility, but there may be one in a small fashion. There are merchants, but they don't rack up the dollah dollah bills. There are no foreign markets to gain a huge economy off of.

Bad character traits: Unreliable storyteller. Whether it's because she forgets the truth or is scared of it, she tends to make things up or just down right lie. She also tends to put others before her to such a degree that she forgets about herself.
How much do you Remember?: Having not been here very long, her memory is better than most. She remembers the car she she had been in swerving to the side into oncoming traffic, she remembers her 13th birthday party, she remembers most things, actually, all the way to when she was about 5. However, ever since her arrival, she has been forgetting things at an alarming rate, much faster than usual. She can't remember the name of her first pet, or if it was even a cat or a dog. This shocks her because it's STILL ALIVE in her house.
She can no longer remember her brothers eye or hair color, and she had seen him three days before the car crash. Things like this disturb her, and she doesn't know why it's happening.

She likes playing the piano, she has incredible devotion to her boyfriend, and she enjoys writing in her journal. Her last one is in the real world, but she secured a new one. She also likes solitude for the most part, but can be in a group. She just won't talk too much.
She dislikes herself, her aunt and uncle, her increasing memory loss, and overly happy or nosy people. Physical touching is also not her thing...at all.

But when the gloves come off...

Character Bio: Although her arrival to Purgatory is considered recent by some, none would dispute its significance, nor would anyone challenge her position of power today. It started small - minor gambling, extortion rackets, other things that came naturally to her. It was as if memory of such things had been engraved into the depths of her mind, along with the utter ruthlessness that enabled her to rise even further. Before long, much of the city was under her thumb - but it still wasn't enough. She had followed her memories as far as they would go, and she had found nothing. In her frustration, she turned to magic to reveal what mortal means could not. She summoned a minor devil, intending to use its power to plumb the depths of her mind, but instead succumbed to it, unprepared for the alien nature of a chaos spawn. However, she had not been totally careless. The devil had been contracted to search her mind and retrieve whatever hidden memories were locked within. It had done so, using the command as a pretext to pour its soul into her in an attempt to subjugate her own and possess her body, but in the instant before it achieved success, she managed to end the ritual and banish the demon. Its body was sent back to Hell, along with most of its soul, but - as evidenced by her uncanny success in using magic hence, along with her hybrid demon form - some of it remained behind. The faintest shadow of an echo, perhaps, but it was enough to permanently affect her mind and body. She doesn't regret it, of course, but her demon wings and tail come at the price of greatly reduced magical potential. Something about the echo of devil inside her seems to revile the thought of the bindings and enchantments necessary for completing rituals...

Now, evidently satisfied by whatever the devil revealed to her in those instants, she roams the city much like Faust, enforcing her own twisted brand of order.

Personality: Classic criminal psychopath. Though she may appear to be caring and sympathetic, and though she enjoys portraying herself as a lover of music and elegance, it's all merely an act. The most anything can ever be to her is a source of amusement, to be toyed with and disposed of as she wishes. Fortunately(or unfortunately, depending on the viewpoint), she can be highly impulsive when in the presence of others, which clever souls have used to extract information, or promises of aid that would otherwise be unobtainable. That, or they might find themselves having their fingernails forcibly extracted with a pair of pliers. Really, it all depends on her mood. Better pray for a good one.
How much do you Remember?: Sadly enough, she remembers very little. There are the occasional flashes, of course. A feeling of superiority, familiarity with the methods of violence, a sense that she was someone to be feared - these are all she remembers of her past life. Her total lack of practical knowledge left a dark void in her, one that is constantly eating at the back of her mind. In her desperation to know more, she grasped at those vague feelings and sought to emulate them. Unfortunately, her knowledge will always remain incomplete, because she can never comprehend the emotion that ties it all together. She was never the boss, you see - only his daughter, and that makes all the difference.


Likes and Dislikes: Likes: Having fun. Also likes: Faust, because she can be...fun Dislikes: Not having fun. Also dislikes: Faust, because she can be too serious and because she's jealous of her influence.

Known to have somewhat of a rivalry with Amber Faust, though whether this is due to their opposing personalities, conflicting interests, or...something more is unknown, and perhaps better left that way.
