Regarding your OC, I'd suggest throwing her in http://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=30018507#p30018507 Creepfest as your second allowed character to see how she'll work, but understand that Creepfest is non-canon horror. ONE character survives. The rest, so far as I understand, die horribly.

Here's a short update on the Aquario-Otonako situation (based on my recent post):

She's managed to get his address through a notice in the paper. She's told him why she disappeared and he understands her reasons for staying. I think it's a good idea for her to proceed to contact him this way. It means that there's no wishing he was there constantly and that she's content with staying at the Building instead of going home.

If there's anything wrong with this, I am happy to change it!

If you wanted to do a story where your character and others step through a Gate to get the situation resolved, I'm sure Cer would be open to it. Also, if you want to make it easy and say "Well, she handed a letter to a mission team and they delivered it to him", that would also be fine.

Got it, Swith! I'll edit that in and try to keep Aquario quiet in Oto's mind. I really want her to properly hand over her mind to PL so she can be more active and become a worthwhile part of it.

I can never remember how tall/big most of the characters are, so I'm doing something about it:



The horizontal lines are a meter apart. Sandy is 5' 10" in primitive units, with is about 88cm. The tallest elephant is 5m tall, which is 16' 8".

But people win when they try!

• Storm: the techpriests will upgrade one non-weapon part on Macy to whatever you'd like (add wings, change her overall appearance, give her different hair etc, give her an incredible singing voice, etc)
• Slo: Elephants. You just need to find some humorous way for them to arrive (they come from the pipes, they're field mice enchanted for a few rounds, etc). Sandy finds the spell in an old book.
• NVE: the raptor apartment fridge is stocked with tasty livers (and it replenishes itself)
• Tilt: pick a character you want gifted
• Swith: another full week vacation from any CoOP duties, as promised
• Min: the local pub now stocks bloodwine. But wait - Mezran will discover that it comes from a Klingon colony in the Outermark, and they have a problem with tribbles. To the hunt! To the bloodwine!
• NA: pick a character to be gifted
• Fraire: the techpriests will hook Nathan up with a laptop once he's better adjusted to the setting.

If you'd like your character(s) to be included, I'll need a picture of them standing, or at least mostly upright. The picture should be relatively simple, because Illustrator's vector converter is OK but not great. (Yup, these are vector images. Trying to rescale raster images just makes a mess. I prefer a different image of Pegasus, but finding vector images of him standing isn't easy, and I took what I could get.)

Squirrel had a lovely picture made of Maghrl, but the background will cause trouble. However, it looks like it was made on a computer -- either that or the artist likes mixed media -- so if he can get the file and extract the foreground layer(s), that would be great.
