Life's been good. I've been searching for a job for a few months, but finally got call-backs today from the School District who were looking for a custodial substitute at 13 bucks an hour. I've also been spending more time with my group of friends in RL, and have had a blast with them. We bought a van off Craigslist, and are in the process of turning it into a road-tripmobile.

I'm happy to finally be back here with you guys though. School's starting to wind down, so I have more time going forward.

And thanks, Slo!

@Bran: It's okay! Me and Torsi get it, obviously. Newfound freedom. I'm pretty satisfied and chilling myself - it's a good time to get your first footing in the kind of person you want to live your life as. I reached a milestone myself today: I went out and bought my own shampoo for my use only! (Shut up, that's big for me.)

@Swith: Ja. SkyWishes and Star Catcher hold a special place in my heart because they both starred in "Friends Are Never Far Away," which was the first MLP cartoon I ever saw. It, uh... doesn't hold up very well anymore, especially when compared to the more-mature Friendship is Magic, but the nostalgia has stayed. SkyWishes is still pretty much herself just inserted into a G4 perspective, though Star Catcher in my personal canon has a significantly more violent and troubling past.

Eh you're still in AIT though, Torsi. All-in-all just depends on where you are, your job, and the friends you make on the job. Yes military can have it's toxic leadership and Blue Falcons (buddy fuckers or people who screw you over) but get past that, it isn't too bad.

I always thought Star Catcher had issues. But G3 SkyWishes was a sweetheart.

My first MLP was a G1 "birthflower" pony (Water Lily, the white version). This bitchy girl brought it to school and complained because it was "ugly toy" (her parents ordered it from an English catalog). She spent the morning maliciously chopping its mane off and mocking it. I went up to her at lunch (she found a pocket knife and was going to scrape the lily off) and punched her. "MINE!" (This is acceptable behavior for a six year old boy.) Took "Suiren" home and that was the start of my fascination with the franchise.

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

Heya, Swith / Cer / The Co-OPs? I was wondering if we could talk in the TAB IRC at some point. There's another imminent threat to my existence and I was wondering if anyone could help me sort it out. I'm pretty much free all the time except Saturdays, so scheduling on my end is a non-issue.

I'll shuffle over to the TAB IRC momentarily. I just got in.

No post tonight. My entire day was spent shuffling Morgan from pediatrician to clinic for an xray, then to the pharmacy, and then Cer swore he would die if he didn't have OJ, so the market... only to get caught in traffic from a Pirates game. This week... this has got to be shittiest week on record.

BUT... take heart. We have something in the works that some of our old hands will love, though some of our new hands will wonder what everyone involved was smoking. And yep, char!Gio is caught up in it. Little does her handler know! Muahahaha.

Off to work. There's a knot in my chest that really hurts for whatever reason and I have no idea why because I'm having a panic attack because I'm worrying too much about a lot of shit.

Called my Uncle over in Oahu and told him what was happening. He said my mind's thinking of so much stuff that's stressing me out so my body is like 'whoa calm down'. Man...shit.

I'll try to be on to collab this weekend in case we want to wrap up the Building. Been too busy during the week to follow anything on NS.

But first, protesting at a Trump rally! I wonder how many beatings I'll get :p

Bad news, guys. Agy was arrested at the Trump protest. Apparently he offered to light someone's cigarette. The air was thick with Trump's hairspray molecules. FOOM! All of downtown is now a crater. Sadly, the Hillary supporters in the crowd melted due to their high plastic content.

Feel the Bern.

I kid. Agy's fine. The protest went nicely. Nobody (we know) was arrested.

We're gonna collab the Building part of the story this weekend to get everything knocked out at rapid pace. Gio and Agy, I'll TG the collab link once Cer's started on it. If he's still wobbly this weekend, I'll start it on his behalf. Between us and Tilt (if he's so inclined to edit or make suggestions), we'll get things done.

The village... I'll read through it and drop in a reply for the Mayor and Friar, and anyone else that needs to make noise. I'll also try my hand at getting Rache moving. I was waiting on that one so Bran could post, but he hasn't.

The push for the summer is to have you guys running your own stories using the gates. Visits to home (but not Bielefeld), perhaps a side story where the Jedi take us on a wild ride, or even something like a quest to get an item. This will free Cer and I up for the IAPA launch, but also give some of us a chance to partake in Diplomacy RP.

Had a long day. It started off with my getting about an hour into my ride cycles when I suddenly got dizzy, had a stomach ache, and started throwing up over the ride fence in front of a bunch of horrified looking guests. Coworkers took over and told me to go rest, so I run to the bathroom, thinking I'll just take the time to clear out all my toxins there and get better. Nope, get worse. Body keeps trying to throw up, nothing comes out, and I start getting extremely debilitating cramps to the point where I'm sweating, shaking, and pretty damn sure I can't get up and walk despite being on the clock. Literally had no other choice but to just curl up on the stall floor. Was walked in on by a typical group of happy-go-lucky park-goers who went from cheer to pure horror when they saw one of the park employees curled up into a little ball of agony on the bathroom floor. Being a tad on the younger side, was immediately closely fretted over by the mothers of the group, "Are you okay honey? Where does it hurt? Here, there? Oh jee, abdomen pains, those aren't a good sign, you might need to go to the ER." (very reassuring, thank you)

Older children of the group retrieved several coworkers to escort me out to the First Aid clinic where I was allowed to drink water and just lay on a be for thirty minutes while shaking and baring through my stomach pains. Was offered to be allowed to go home, turned it down just to see how I would feel (also felt crappy about the idea of leaving everyone else with the work). Slowly, just laying there, got better. Was told that if it happened again to just come back and they would send me home.

Was perfect for the rest of the day. I assume it was a combination of the horrible heat and a certain time of month, but damn it was scary at the time.

Mother was not pleased when she picked me up and heard the story.

"Why did you stay?! You should have called me! I would have picked you up!"
"Because I had to work till 8."
"But still!"
"Because I was fine for the rest of the day."
"But still!"
"Because it takes like an hour for you to get here."
"But still!"
"Because you were in the middle of work at the time too."
"BUT STILL!!!!"

Moral of the story: Drink water, kids. You think just because you had some like 10 minutes ago you'll be fine? Nnnnnnnnnnnope. Summer in the midwest don't play that shit.
