For some reason I had the thought of what if Mag tried to modify his lightsbers to have a secondary like obsidian crystal as a focus for it. Like what that would do to his blade and if it'd be able to injure varg, and if he could make it precise enough to act as a lightsaber crystal.

It's probably a very unlikely idea to ever work

Looking it up, obsidian is translucent, so theoretically could be used as a crystal or focus.when I get home from Easter things I might have mag ask if that would would work for making is weapons effective against varg, or if he could at least try with having a standby normal obsidian weapon.

So... dying eggs. Boil 'em and color 'em. Simple. Only we don't use those stupid PAAS kits. Instead, we use industrial coloring and whipped cream. It's a pretty result. And easy... spread the cream in a pan, dot on a shit-ton of dye, swirl with toothpick and drop the eggs in. Let 'em sit a while. Rinse, dry, repeat. Simple!

So I spread the whipped cream, and add the dye, and swirl. Then I go to throw the toothpick away and finish a text message, and turn around the find the damn cat on the low table, and eating the whipped cream. She loves the stuff. Morgan thinks it's hilarious, but goes to shoo the cat. Yeah, cat's don't just saunter away when scared. They bolt. My cat bolted, and off goes the glass baking dish... which shatters inches from the dog lurking in hopes of food. Now I have whipped cream and dye splatters on the kitchen cabinets, the table, my legs, the kid, and the dog. My concern isn't the cabinets, though Cer will kill me for damaging them. No, it's the dog. More specifically, it's the horror of the dog running away and jumping on the living room couches... because furry Pomeranians are like little paint brushes. So I'm all, "KEBA! KEBA, JESUS CHRIST, COME!" and Morgan's no help because she's laughing her ass off.

The dog did NOT escape into the rest of the house. The dye didn't stain the cabinets, except one spot where there was heavily concentrated blue dye, and I'm sure the blue will fade from the cat's mouth in time. However, we are now out of whipped cream.

I'm come to the conclusion that A) I'm an inept parent; B) coloring eggs is stupid when you can just buy plastic ones; C) nothing ever goes right when Cer's not around; and D) I should start blogging these misadventures... and E) I shouldn't be on KiK while doing stuff.


Oh God, I just thought of something. If the cat barfs, will it come out blue? Like blue hairballs all over the house, staining whatever surface the same color? Fuck.
