It has been almost three months after Japan's National Sensh-Do Tournament, with the underdog Oorai barely managing to attain victory against the Kuromorimine Girl's School, saving their school from closure. But now, halfway across the world, a school faces a similar problem. In their own dilemma, they turn to the victory of this no-name school for idea, hoping that it would solve their problem.

Welcome to Rosemary International Girl's Academy (or RIG Academy). A private school for the rich and specially gifted girls that can be found anywhere, they just happen to be sailing in the Atlantic Ocean. A rich history behind them, the only they lack is students, which has caused the region's board of education to wonder the existence of such school. All due to this, they have given the Academy's Headmaster an ultimatum, find a way to increase their student count this year or be shut down. That's where the solution of introducing tankery into their education system, a practice that was done by other schools in their area. In addition to this, a tournament was to be held between some of the larger ones and that's RIG Academy planned to join.... However, they are in dire need of help and turned to their wild cards, the Student Council.

Despite this, only one person stepped to the job, who was the newly placed Student Council President. One of the famous people in the school, she is mostly known for her history with Sensha-Do, with her once heading an entire team. She gladly accepted and the race to create a team capable of winning the tournament began, starting it all of with a challenge to entire student body.

If you love the school enough and don't want it to shut down, or seeking for something to kill time....... History: The Student Council President of the Rosemary International Girl's Academy, she was elected due to her all-around attributes in academics and sports. Formerly, she was an Renault FT Light Tank Commander in her school, where she was in charge of coordinating her entire team. It was due to her aggressive tactics that she gained the title “Patton”, which lead them to several victories. Not only that, but she also was credited taking four tanks out in professional tankery and two in from a triathlon, totaling in six tanks taken out. Afterwards, her school was shut down due to lack of students and Rachel was transferred to RIG Academy. There, she established herself among the other students and was quickly chosen by the majority to be the next Student Council President of the Academy.

If faced with that dilemma, she will try her best to avoid it, dodging the subject.
History: A childhood friend of Rachel, she was one of the few students that came from the same ship, but came on her own accord after having spent the last year from a different school prior to the activation of Sensha-Do in RIG Academy. While everything about her average, she has managed to stand out due to her relations with the Student Council President, and has gained some popularity because of that.

Personality: Highly intelligent, with a tendency to joke around a lot, even in inappropriate or bad situations. Highly self motivated and doesn't know when to quit, pushing herself all too often too hard.
History: A Sensha-Do veteran, Svetlana attended a relatively obscure school in Eastern Europe that was always swept aside in competitions, but at least those failed games allowed her to be a commander, a gunner, and a driver of a BT-7 light tank at some point or another. Because of constant losses and in fighting, Svetlana resigned from the team. Coming to Rosemary International hoping to avoid Sensha-Do, she instead decided to respond to the Student Council President's call for volunteers, not exactly knowing what the call was for.

Personality: When the going gets tough, she wants to give up, being easily discouraged. But at the same time, she is afraid of pissing others off because of her pessimistic attitude and practices appeasement a lot. Looks up to Svetlana and Risako as the "leaders" of the group.
History: Born in Atlanta to a wealthy businessman, but sent to and raised in a rural area in the American southeast by her grandparents, Jennifer's only exposure to technology was an old Sony Walkman that was given to her as a birthday present. On the small farm, she helped out, once almost crashing the tractor into the silo. Once she came of age, she left home to go back to the city. She ended up in Rosemary International to pursue secondary education. Because of her bragging of driving of a tractor, Svetlana took her onto the team.

Personality: Youngest of the crew, often feels an inferiority complex and spends her days sitting on the grass looking up at the clouds thinking. She is rather quiet, never the conversation starter. Occasionally gets stuck down by illness and ends up going to the nurse a lot for trivial reasons.
History: Born in Helsinki, Finland, Olivia grew up accustomed to cold and snow, but always getting a high fever ro some other ailment every winter. On her own initiative, she started to isolate herself from other people. During this time, her best friend was her father, who took her snowshoeing and doing other winter activities until he passed away due to liver cancer. Not until she was 12 she started to open up. Due to this, she is uncomfortable around people and has difficulties communicating in a loud enough voice.

Personality: Probably the smartest in the group, expects a lot from herself and wants others to do the same. Highly engaged in studying and worrying too much about things. She is also humble and refuses to brag. Somewhat of a ditz although.
History: Coming from the Osaka area in Japan, Risako was named after a Japanese pop singer. She excelled in school, prompting her parents to send her to Rosemary for a "challenge". Once at Rosemary, Risako threw herself into a ton of academic clubs, while making her homework pile appear to shrink instead of grow everyday. She joined up because of the offer of extra credits with joining the program.

Name: Rin "Leclerc" Tsukino

Personality: The only social time she has is usually during tankery. Otherwise, she focuses mostly on her academics. Unless it's with her fellow crew members, it takes her very few friends to get her to make relationships with others, as she is usually cynical towards others.
Rin seems to has most of her live planned out. With her classes in mostly foreign languages, such as German, Italian, and Chinese, while she takes French even more seriously. She has incorporated a great amount of French culture into her daily life, and tends to remain by herself in her apartment, where she has gathered an impressive collection of antique French furniture. While she surrounds herself with luxurious furniture, it results in her having a limited budget on food, and most of the time only buys café and different types if breads. Thus, she usually is finds herself meeting her crew mates for dinner 4- 6 times a week, forcing her to socialize more than she's comfortable with.
As a tank commander, (and in the SOMUA's case, also acting as gunner and loader, which adds on a great amount of stress,) she thinks nothing other than the success mission. She is usually very stern with her friends while in the tank, and does not forgive mistakes very quickly. But when it's her who makes a mistake, she usually becomes more hesitant and timid, and asks for a lot more help.
History: Rin was born in Saumur to two Japanese immigrants. As she grew up, she became more and more interested to tanks. (most likely because of the Musée des Blindés, a famous tank museum.) Although her family did I'm expose her to some traditional Japanese culture, she remained very close to her French upbringing.

Name: Yumeko Jaubért

Personality: Completely opposite of her commander, Yumeko is an upbeat girl who attempts to make friends with just about everyone she meets. Although she does have a great number of people she can call friends, she has a very hard time dealing with being rejected, and can affect her for weeks.
Although she does have many companions, Yumeko holds her crew members very close. Since it seems that Rin shows up hat her house almost everyday around 6 pm, she tries to make a party out of it every time. (To the displeasure of Rin for that matter.) Popping jokes and being as loud and cheerful as she usually is. So much so, it's rather difficult for her friends to have an even half serious conversation with her.
She is no different in a tank, however. She is always called "counterproductive" by Rin, but little does the commander know, Yumeko has much more experience in tankery than Rin does, but she keeps it to herself. As Radio Operator, she also helps out the Gunner/ Loader/ Commander by hand up shells into the turret.
History: Yumeko's link to France comes from her grand father, who was serving in French Indochina during the second world war. After the territory was handed over to Japan, he was sent to a prison camp in Japan. After the war ended, he chose to stay in the country and started a family. Eventually, Yumeko was born in Kumamoto, Japan. There she spent most of her time being a social butterfly. But she frequently listened to the stories told by her French grand father about the Second World War. She secretly enjoyed the history, but hid it from most of her friends. When she turned 15, she relocated to The Maginot Girl's Academy. There she spend a short time on the schools tankery team, where she commanded a Hotchkiss H-35. Eventually, she believed that the school was simply not for her, and moved to The RIG Academy, in the Atlantic, where she will take up tankery again, along with Rin.

Personality: She is rather shy, and not used to making friends. However, she quickly clung to Yumeko and Rin, once she arrived at the school, frightened she would be a complete outcast.
History: Born in Versailles, she spent most of her life inland, and away from the sea. However, as she got older, her parent saw that, even though was a smart, polite girl, she didn't make much friends. So the sent her off to The Rosemary International Girl's Academy. Once there, she mostly went to school like normal, but stayed in her room. She eventually befriended Rin and Yumeko, who convinced her to join Tankery, as they needed a third person for their tank. She eventually said yes, as there was promise that battles would take place on land, and getting off of the sea for a bit was just what she wanted.

Personality: superstitious and hotheaded, has a love for heroism and romanticism that sometimes clouds her better judgement. Can easily become discouraged and give up.
History: her father a coal miner, and mother a strange woman prone to bursts of hallucinations and esoteric dreams, Naomi felt that the supernatural pervaded her life before she was even born. Throughout childhood, she suffered from nightmares about mythical creatures, and still maintains a superstitious worldview (believing in fortune telling, phantoms that wander the earth, etc.) the only time she knew peace was when she visited her grandmother, who often told her stories about the place where she lived. As Naomi grew older, she began to study history on her own, particularly the Civil War, and sought to cultivate the good qualities of military figures, while at the same time avoiding their flaws.

During her fourteenth birthday, her father struck black gold in the hills, and Naomi's family became rich overnight. She was just about ready to start highschool, and after her parents compiled a list, demanded she go to the same one as her friend Rin. Since the academy was prestigious enough, her parents agreed.

Personality: calm and reserved, usually giving the impression of either being serene or nonchalant.
History: Half-Japanese and Half-American, Rin spent a lot of her early life in both Japan and America. Each time she moved from one to the other, she felt alienated. As though she had just become familiar with the first, only to have that immediately torn away by moving again to another. For most of her adolescence, she felt isolated and did not make any friends. However, Naomi was there for her, and convinced her to stand up to her parents about their constant moving, and her desire to live in Japan instead of being on the go at all times. The feeling of having an actual friend, though, made her change her mind, and she asked her parents to let her stay in America.

Personality: Brash, aggressive, and with a loud-mouth, Kat can be a little off-putting to some people, but she's a good and reliable person, especially when she has a specific goal in mind.
Bio: Kat is a foreign exchange student who was raised in the US by Japanese-German parents. Her first experience with Sensha-do came while still in middle school, visiting relatives in Japan. A distant cousin was competing in a match, and Kat tagged along to watch. She became virtually obsessed with the idea of commanding a tank, and begged her parents to let her attend a school with a Sensha-do program. However, her parents were largely opposed, and responded by sending her to Rosemary, which was starting up a Sensha-do program without them realizing it. Unfortunately for them, they had already paid for all the expenses of transferring Kat to a new school, when the announcement that Rosemary Academy was restarting its Sensha-do program was made. Kat is going to get her wish.

Gunner
Name: Maya Shimizu
Age: 16

Favorite hobby: Archery (or anything else that requires launching one object at another, preferably at high velocity with potentially destructive results)

Personality: Quiet, reserved, and generally polite, Maya acts as a foil to Kat's high-energy attitude. She can become rather flustered under high pressure, but responds well to encouragement from others. She may or may not have an unhealthy obsession with breaking things using ranged weaponry.
Bio: Maya got pulled into Kat's little group once the foreign-exchange student noticed her seemingly natural aptitude for hitting things with other things from a distance. While usually gravitating towards archery, Kat convinced Maya that it would be more exciting to shoot something with real fire-power. In a spur of the moment decision, seemingly infected by Kat's fiery attitude, she withdrew her application from the archery team and applied for Sensha-do after Kat learned the program was starting back up.

Name: Saya Akiyama

Personality: Saya has a sharp tongue, and can come off as rude and uncooperative, but people who are familiar with her know that her bark is worse than her bite. She can actually be a bit of a crybaby. She's also rather lazy, something Kat is playing as a joke by forcing Saya to be the loader. She has a habit of stalking people she knows online, and ends up knowing a lot about people... A LOT. Enough to be considered creepy by most people.
Bio: Saya, like Maya, has virtually no experience with Sensha-do, except for a vague knowledge of it. She was initially on less than friendly terms with Kat, but something about Kat's infectious attitude and unwillingness to NOT be friends caused her to change her tune. She's, somewhat grudgingly, a loyal friend to Kat, and will stand by her, even when things get rather chancy. Like Maya, she was roped into it by Kat's insistence that friends should stick together. "What better way for us to become better friends to to temper our relationships in the fires of battle!" was the line used by Kat.

Name: Misaka Kozuki

Personality: Hyper-active, and constantly needing to be doing SOMETHING. She has a short attention span, and is also hungry virtually all the time. Expect her to always have the snacks. Her personality may result in a "unique" driving style. She does have somewhat of a sadistic streak, much to the dismay of Hina.
Bio: Miska never really fit in around other students, mainly because her hyper-active nature and short-attention span either drove people crazy, or made it impossible for them to keep up. She almost naturally gravitated towards Kat as something "new and exciting", and happily discovered that Kat was almost as energetic as she is. Maya doesn't seem to mind her (she doesn't seem to mind anything), but Saya is often irritated by Misaka's antics, and the conflicts between the two are often mediated by Kat and Maya.

Radio Operator/Mechanic
Name: Hina Yukimori

Favorite hobby: Taking apart and reassembling complicated things... REALLY complicated things
Favorite Tank: K2 Black Panther
Personality: If it's mechanical or electronic, Hina seems to have a natural affinity for it. Talking with other people face to face is more of a problem for her however, as she often has little interest in what she consider's "irrelevant information". That said, she's good at relaying information quickly and without mistakes. This can make her hard to get along with at times, but giving her the important information virtually always results in a good result. Despite her quirks, Hina's peculiarities may be the least off putting among the team.
Bio: Hina was offered the radio operator's position by Kat, who believed her short, concise, to the point style of speaking would work well for quickly transmitting information to other tanks. Besides her role s radio operator, she also performs routine and emergency maintenance on the tank,and is capable of assisting other teams with repairs as well. She can become irritated at times by her more lively teammates, but she's a reliable member of the group.

Personality: Olga has been a bit of a boy-magnet with her sickly sweet personality- in fact, it was the reason she was sent to the academy.
History: Olga lived a happy life, both at her old school and her home. She was just looking for that "something more" that life could offer her, and soon found that boys would flock to her. Olga went through heartbreak after heartbreak however, when she wouldn't put out for them, and it soon turned her to manipulation. She discovered that boys would shower her with gifts when she was dating them, so she ended up in multiple relationships. It all came crashing down when her parents came home to see her making out with a boy after the previous boyfriend had visited the house last night. As punishment, she was sent to an all-girls school to improve her feelings. Although there are no boys present, Olga still manages to be quite the lady charmer.

Bio:
History: Dominika grew up as a Russian in the swamps of Louisiana. She was bullied all of her young life, until one day in eigth grade, when she became sick of being called a pinko and commie bastard. She walked up to the biggest kid in the group and punched him right in the nose. Shocked for only a moment, the group pounced upon her and beat her within an inch of her life. Not one to back down, Dominika continued to get into fistfights until she was seventeen, and her family recieved threats. For her family's own safety, Dominika left to the academy for a new life of tankery and comaderie.

History: When Annika was little, her father and mother left her on the doorstep of an orphanage. Growing up, she was a quiet, hardworking type. Annika would do chores around the orphanage and let others take credit for it. This continued for years. Annika had still made no friends at the age of 16, and it was discovered by the orphanage faculty that she was indeed the one doing all the work. Duly impressed that Annika had a great work ethic, they lobbied the state to send her to the school. Annika was transferred a month later.

Bio:
History: Dina's father worked for the railroad company as an engineer for their locomotives. With her mother gone off with some other, young Dina ended up spending a lot of time with her father inside the engine, and picked up songs that she heard being sung. When she was of school age, her father sent her off to live with her grandparents, and she flourished. Dina's father wrote to her regularly when he was across the country, and these letters she takes wherever she goes. With her grandparents substantially wealthy, they decided that Dina should go to the academy to further her learning curriculum. Once arriving at the school, she found immediate interest in the inner workings of tanks.

History: Ulrica comes from a family who has strong ties to the military, her parents and her Grandmothers all were tankers in Sensha-Do. HEr family teaches each generation about the families' tank history, honor, selflessness, and especially duty causing her to always put her friends and her team before herself. Ulrica's parents died when she was young which has caused her to stay largely anti-social except with her team whom she largely considers her new family.

History: Being a German history fanatic, it isn't a surprise that Freki has a room filled with WWII memorabilia, most notably, a Tiger tank with the number 101. This tank belonged to the famed German Ace Kurt Knispel, whom Freki idolizes as a hero for his rebellious attitude toward Nazi's and being credited with the best tank ace for the German military. Oddly enough, Freki shows a very similar personality. She becomes very aggressive, to the point of almost being scary, which contributed to a constant determination to avoid defeat and hit her mark at any cost.

History: Being easily the most energetic, and optimistic member of the team, Ylva tries her hardest to make sure that she is physically fit to meet the demands of loading the heavy rounds for a tank gun. She also bears an almost humorous resemblance to Ulrica in that they share the same hair and eye colors, and similar personalities. Ylva often seems cold and unfeeling, but this is actually just a ruse for people she doesn't know, but in actuality she is a very kind person once she feels comfortable enough to open up to someone.

Silent, and scared of human interaction, however her composure is absolute, and she is never seen to raise her voice or lose her temper in the heat of the moment. Everything she does is with the same measured grace and calculated resolve.

History: Born in the UK, where she developed an admiration for Sensha-do through watching her local college's regular practice matches. She moved to the US when she was 14, due to her father receiving an offer for a job at an American company. She was eager to stay in touch with her old friends, but upon her leaving, the group drifted apart and she eventually lost contact with all but a few of them. Eager to never let the same thing happen with her new friends, she forces them into spending time together, fearing her absence will make them spring apart. When Rosemary begins it's Sensha-do programme, she is among the first to sign up.
Despite her Britishness, she actually rather hates tea.

Personality: Laid-back and calm, Alexandra (often called Alex by her friends) is a girl who loves excitement and thrills, and also appears to have a semi-joking sadistic streak. She cherishes any chance to prove her reflexes and good judgement.
History: Like Ella, a native Briton, although Alexandra comes from different stock entirely; the daughter of a Scottish aristocrat, she grew up attending numerous private girls schools, and as a result, was in many different types of clubs. Of the three, she is the only one with experience in Sensha-do, although it is far from extensive, as she served as gunner for a Tiger I for less than a month before she began considering attending one of the famed 'floating academies.' She chose Rosemary as her school and demanded that she be allowed to study there until graduation. And although her parents were initially unreceptive to the idea, they eventually capitulated.

History: Brought up in a rather poor Welsh household and forced to look after a sick mother and a younger brother from a quite young age, she quickly learned to push herself to unhealthy extents to make herself the best she can be. Which eventually made her quite sick herself, and she spent a good deal of the aftermath of her 14th birthday in hospital after a series of stress-related panic attacks and faintings. Not long after this, her families fortunes went up, as her mother slowly began to recover from her illness and remarried. By the time she reached 16, Lisa decided she would study on board a school ship, and her parents were very eager to help her achieve this ambition. Upon arriving, she made friends quickly, and immediately got stuck in with various after-school activities. It was also around this time she picked up writing as a hobby, and self-published a short story online, the funds from which she sent to her mother and step-father back home. She has little to no experience with Tankery, as none of her old schools were able to afford the necessary equipment, and few local TV stations featured the sport.

Due to this, she is uncomfortable around people and has difficulties communicating in a loud enough voice.

Personality: The only social time she has is usually during tankery. Otherwise, she focuses mostly on her academics. Unless it's with her fellow crew members, it takes her very few friends to get her to make relationships with others, as she is usually cynical towards others.
Rin seems to has most of her live planned out. With her classes in mostly foreign languages, such as German, Italian, and Chinese, while she takes French even more seriously. She has incorporated a great amount of French culture into her daily life, and tends to remain by herself in her apartment, where she has gathered an impressive collection of antique French furniture. While she surrounds herself with luxurious furniture, it results in her having a limited budget on food, and most of the time only buys café and different types if breads. Thus, she usually is finds herself meeting her crew mates for dinner 4- 6 times a week, forcing her to socialize more than she's comfortable with.
As a tank commander, (and in the SOMUA's case, also acting as gunner and loader, which adds on a great amount of stress,) she thinks nothing other than the success mission. She is usually very stern with her friends while in the tank, and does not forgive mistakes very quickly. But when it's her who makes a mistake, she usually becomes more hesitant and timid, and asks for a lot more help.
History: Rin was born in Saumur to two Japanese immigrants. As she grew up, she became more and more interested to tanks. (most likely because of the Musée des Blindés, a famous tank museum.) Although her family did I'm expose her to some traditional Japanese culture, she remained very close to her French upbringing.

Personality: Completely opposite of her commander, Yumeko is an upbeat girl who attempts to make friends with just about everyone she meets. Although she does have a great number of people she can call friends, she has a very hard time dealing with being rejected, and can affect her for weeks.
Although she does have many companions, Yumeko holds her crew members very close. Since it seems that Rin shows up hat her house almost everyday around 6 pm, she tries to make a party out of it every time. (To the displeasure of Rin for that matter.) Popping jokes and being as loud and cheerful as she usually is. So much so, it's rather difficult for her friends to have an even half serious conversation with her.
She is no different in a tank, however. She is always called "counterproductive" by Rin, but little does the commander know, Yumeko has much more experience in tankery than Rin does, but she keeps it to herself. As Radio Operator, she also helps out the Gunner/ Loader/ Commander by hand up shells into the turret.
History: Yumeko's link to France comes from her grand father, who was serving in French Indochina during the second world war. After the territory was handed over to Japan, he was sent to a prison camp in Japan. After the war ended, he chose to stay in the country and started a family. Eventually, Yumeko was born in Kumamoto, Japan. There she spent most of her time being a social butterfly. But she frequently listened to the stories told by her French grand father about the Second World War. She secretly enjoyed the history, but hid it from most of her friends. When she turned 15, she relocated to The Maginot Girl's Academy. There she spend a short time on the schools tankery team, where she commanded a Hotchkiss H-35. Eventually, she believed that the school was simply not for her, and moved to The RIG Academy, in the Atlantic, where she will take up tankery again, along with Rin.

However, as she got older, her parent saw that, even though was a smart, polite girl, she didn't make much friends. So the sent her off to The Rosemary International Girl's Academy. Once there, she mostly went to school like normal, but stayed in her room. She eventually befriended Rin and Yumeko, who convinced her to join Tankery, as they needed a third person for their tank. She eventually said yes, as there was promise that battles would take place on land, and getting off of the sea for a bit was just what she wanted.
