I'm downright OP in Dark Souls. I love my Bastard Sword, but nobody else seems to like it. It's amazing.

Elite Knight Armor, upgraded to +6, bastard sword, and Grasscrest shield is sweet. For my first play through, I'm doing very well.

As for my ideas...look ma, no non-spoilers!

Tasia isn't doing a whole lot, and I was originally going to kill her off at the end of Allspice (because I couldn't think of anything she could develop, other than possibly wrapping up loose ends with Kei and ...someone else. OK, so there are spoilered things, bite me. ). Anyway, I could lend her off to be host, but I'm not sure how that would play with personality splitting.

Well, she could initially be very territorial, grasping onto any concept of herself and claiming that is 'hers'. These elements of her could gradually be affected by Demolior's symbiosis though, and if she realized that, she could try to pull away from his qualities again. It makes for an interesting development, in theory.

Sign-ups

Name: Into the Rabbit Hole (Swithwardian trip)
Player Level: intermediate to advanced
Characters: 3-4 (one spot reserved for Terin)
Requirements:

• Typical II (International Incidents). Witherwards have laws pertaining to weapons, for example; walking around like a military badass is a bad idea. You don't have to have II experience to join (you'll learn stuff as you go)
• Posts: you'll need to read posts for content.
• This isn't a character development story. It's a national showcase with an adventure thrown in (non-faction)
• Don't join if your intent is espionage.

Warnings:

• Witherwards are deadly. This means that the colony itself, while appearing bright and chipper, does contain things which can kill you if you disobey posted signs or nose around restricted areas. The characters Am and Rodney hail from a witherward. All constructs operate using a sort of telepathy; Nick won't work on this trip (he'd be rendered mute).

Open to:

• This is open to those who want to run their own nation trips. The story won't be fast moving. Withewards are biotech (FT) but portray themselves as MT/PMT. They contain magic-nullifying zones meaning your "super/magic" powers won't work or might not go exactly as you'd hoped. Teleporting won't work. Kale's plant magic might backfire miserably. Worst case scenario: you pull a spell, it fails, and you're trampled by constructs (been there and done that personally. Dreadful way to die.)
• She doesn't want players who can't take the initiative in IC. Don't apply if you bailed on or caused people to stall in Fallout: Bielefeld by hemming and hawing over what to do. There's the door/window/tunnel: walk into it.

OP call: Swith's allowed to run her trip before anyone else runs theirs. She waited over a year and had to keep putting it off because of other stories. She was next in line after Bran's initial trip.

PS to add: this in no way ties into 40K or any of her cultists or avatars. They won't be participating. I'm thinking she'll use Am or Rodney.

Okay then.

The purpose is to do a simple trip to give an example for those who are interested in doing their own trips. Without exception, every nation trip we've tried to do has been a fail. This is mostly because people have never done a nation RP before and aren't used to how things flow. 'Tis cool. My way of doing it is different than others, but I'm hoping to give people something that triggers their own imaginations when it comes to things to do in their nations.

• Canon
  Many people treat nation RP as additions to their canon even if they're running it in P2TM. For this reason, the GM should be allowed to state what he'll allow in the way of weapons, magic and tech. Respect the GM's wishes. My RP won't be considered canon for my nation but I'm going to run it as canon in the way my nation responds to things. We just don't have time for espionage in this story, so you won't have a chance to spy on stuff. Sorry about that.

• Gunz n stuff
  Characters aren't going to be walking around armed to the gills or magically poofing shit into existence. Your balls-to-the-wall PL military guy or your Guy Who Uses Magic for Everything character won't cut it.

• Magic
  I have null zones that prohibit players from seriously fucking up my canon. I'm going to lift some of these for the PL story.

• Player Level
  I'm looking for strong players because this isn't 'Swith does a trip!' Cer wants a 'lead by example' thing and light players' style will hinder what he wants me to accomplish. I don't know if I'll be able to do what he's hoping, but it will make my life so much easier if I have heavy players along who read for content and formulate their posts based off everyone else. Having said that... we're going light. Nobody has to post ten paragraphs or use flowery pose or whip out their online thesaurus.

• Environment
  My shit's bizarre. Lewis Carroll fucks a Zerg and out pops the Nifid. I'm a biochem physicist that enjoys anthropology, paleobiology and evolutionary progression, and nonsense verse. The nation is based in hard science but warped for humor. Am and Rodney are average citizens. All that glitters is not gold, not everything is what it seems, and yes... your bedside lamp really did wink at you before shutting off.

• Plot
  I'm still waiting for Cer to approve it. I'm leaning towards diplomacy/rescue mission.

• Encapsulation
  This won't count towards your character's canon. This allows us to bend the existing plots a bit, so it would make sense for Am to hang out with people, or for Cer to bring in one of his thade species. We'll come up for a reason for characters to participate via the OOC and just plunk the startup in to the IC.

We'll suspend their current plots to kill each other for the sake of the story, and they can pick up where they left off once the story is over. Or they might choose to count it. It's not forced upon them, in other words.
