Ter, we're in the middle of several stories, but I'm honestly going to need to ask Fvaar to pause and regroup with fewer players... we have three new players with no one to talk to and I'm not able to post IC often enough to engage them. Our usually chipper and talkative characters are frozen in Copycat. We could use Lily, Torsi and Dora to help ease new arrivals in. The other characters are in active stories that are advancing, so it's unfair to pull them away from that.

Fvaar, I know you've worked really hard on this, and we'd like to see it through, but "yoinking" them and then settling them right back down to doing nothing defeats the purpose of the venue change. My recommendation is to release the characters so they can do other things. Sit down and see who you'd like to have help bring Nick's story to light. Choose only the ones who are actively interested and trying to advance the story... meaning posting or attempting to post but are stalled by others or the setting... and then carry on from there. I think the story would work better with one or two characters rather than a group.

There's absolutely no shame in having to regroup. Ever! Even our illustrious OP and us CoOPs have to regroup our stuff from time to time. Don't let this shatter your confidence. You've laid out plans and know where you want to go. Now it's a matter of finding the right players and the right flow for what you want to accomplish. Synergy.

Aaaand... now I'll add that PL is odd. Many RP do not have people who post every day. Some only post once a week. That's why, when we run games here, we try to give people an idea of how often posts will be needed. Some of us run a fast game, and need posts daily. Some run a slower game, and posting once a week is fine because all players have agreed. Tribblequest is an example. Not posting because you're bored or don't know what's going on isn't an excuse... especially when the story is totally stalled and there aren't any questions being asked in the OOC. :p

Everyone...

Reffing or GMing a game is darn difficult. It's like herding cats, and in PL... a megathread with so much history and intertwined stories... is a whole different intensity.

C&M's Guide to GMing is the how-to for those interested in OPing/Refing/GMing their own RP.

You've run some interesting stuff in PL. Your entire Princess story gave me shivers, especially the end when you brought Eru and NA in and wrapped it all up in a grimdark bow.

NA... just use 2. It's pretty easy, unless you really 2eed it for a lot of letters. 2early everyo2e would u2dersta2d.

Well, not really.

I have some IC posts to catch up on, but I'm quickly running out of steam here.
