People wouldn't be aware of Torii and Nick's exploration but they'd surely notice the Drone taking an aggressive stance on the side of a building.

Marcus bolted with Giovenith, and he told Kale to run. People are more than welcome to follow them. There are other buildings lining the street as well. Nothing like a hardware store or gun shop, though. Feel free to kick in doors and invent the shop inside. Just post what you're going to take shelter in. There would be delis (which would stink), shoe shops, maybe a florist shop. Most are old fashioned buildings which share common walls and have more than one story. FUBAR is perched on an accounting office building.

I didn't realize Torii had opted to not scout. That leaves just Nick and, although he's a cat, he's at ground level and can't over simple things like newspaper stands, cars where the curb on the other side of the wheels obscures feet or crouched bodies, etc.

Still not sure what's going on, but I think I wasn't very clear on my post. Torii stayed with Bran for a while before breaking off to scout with Nick. Right now, she's ahead of the group with Nick, and I'm assuming they're close enough to still barely hear them.

After his post was when the group moved out, and when I said that Torii broke away after a while to take up scouting with Nick. They're ahead of the group now.

Looking through it, this one viewtopic.php?p=20132784#p20132784 is why I pulled Bran back and stuck him with the group. A scout or someone walking with scouts need to be alert and not humming a tune.

Yes. It was written that way so that she walked with Bran for some time, and then went ahead to meet Nick and help scout. A way to balance out a few different posts I saw so that she didn't blow off Bran, but still went on to help Nick and the group.

Many things are heat resistant. Others aren't but are hard to get close enough to strike. Some have magical abilities that might turn a gun into a plunger or a sword into a daisy. Cer drops good clues in his posts. Other than that, it's trial and error just like in real life.
