You could always ask the players to weed through the threads for you. We had the first few threads outlined thanks to Tilt, but then RL called.

It's just easier on new players. They don't spend an hour writing something only to have players tell them, "Dude, you have to write that over. You can't have your character do that because way back during the [insert foe] invasion, when [insert character's name and some magnificent feat] happened, it negated your ability to do that."
