Tsanis is a demon without any demon-like traits. He likes engineering and helping people out, although he makes enemies quickly. Tsanis thinks that weird is normal and the ugly is beautiful. He likes dark places and to hot environments. Tsanis likes to be random a lot. He is also quick with a comeback, and loves to make puns. Although Tsanis doesn't like fights, if someone challenges him, he'll give them something to think about on the way to the hospital.

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

It scares patients away, and it belittles the disorders an individual might be suffering from. I had appointments with a psychiatrist two days a week for three years; I had a lot of time to ask mine about things like that.
EDIT: Not trying to put you down or anything; this is just information, not information and an accusing glare.

In the United States and Canada, as well as most other developed countries, psychiatrists go through four years of university followed by four years of medical school. I'm not sure whether Bielefeld would accept any less, but it's possible.

Don't they also have to do four years of residency?

He could be a therapist.
NVE plays a shrink but his documentation is masterfully forged. I believe he played part of it out in the IC back before Vafflehelm was destroyed. Can't recall too clearly.

Basically, they don't want anyone screwing around in anyone else's head unless they've spent a long, long time learning how to do it first.
And yeah, I think the majority of characters here are the kind of people a psychiatrist would be able to retire off of.

Yes, the majority of their credentials are fake, and Arthur was absolutely terrible actually practicing it, even though he understands the human mind quite well. He just prefered using his skills for personal gain.
