We have Levi and Charumati having a conversation in the living room. Levi's in a sort of mech suit and Charumati hasn't any idea on how to be human. They're trying to figure out what to do with the kids as well as how to complete an objective.

We have Thriller and Swith having a conversation in the living room. Thriller's in his mech suit and Swith hasn't any idea on how to be human. They're trying to figure out what to do with Bran (who has just walked in and done something weird, or said something weird or otherwise just been weird for having walked through the door) as well as how to complete an objective.

Full circles are good! I like them, they allow a kind of mirror image of the pasts and presents of characters. Either show how far they've come, how they're still the same deep down, or even a little of both. Like, for example, when the Big Hero who started off as the Village Kid comes back to said village as a total badass because of his adventure and everyone is like "WHAT HAPPENED" but we all know what happened. That's just one example.

Char!NVE started off as psychotic and wildly creative, yet reserved.

One Year later...

Neil is reserved, yet psychotic and wildly creative + wife and kids.

They did have character development. But as my focus on other characters changed, they became simpler to write again with as much depth as I started with, as other characters gained more depth.

I'd like to think char!Gio has changed enough over time. At the very least now the majority of the things that come out of her mouth are actually comprehensible.

Soooo...

char!Gio started off as a confusing, vulnerable, yet resourceful and creative, delusional mess.

One year later:

char!Gio is now a not-as-confusing, self-aware, still resourceful and creative, childlike-person moving onto more young adult behavior. (Despite that last part) she also has a pet pony, every small girl's dream come true, only not really.

Giovenith gasped, looking downward at the stampeding herd of jackalopes from her and Willow's position of safety up on the hill.The horned rabbits scampered and leaped over one another, a sea of furry brown in the beginning of a storm, all galloping towards the common destination of north. "The jackalopes have finally figured out the truth! They're heading to the Iron Palace right now! They're so fast! If only there were some way we could both, you know, follow them faster... since my own poor human-esque legs couldn't possibly manage to-"

"You're not riding on my damn back," cut in Willow, expression unwavering and eyes on the stampede.

Oh and how could I forget the biggest change from know-it-all with a superiority complex and a desire to take over the world to more resentful know-it-alls that believe in slow subtle revenge.

Naomi really hasn't changed.

Minerva went from a bitch on wheels to a woman who is a bit more tender. She's lost some of her communist attitudes thanks to exposure to Klaus. Plus, she hasn't tried to kill Klaus. Their love affair was totally unexpected.

Being me, I don't like judging myself or my own creations, so I've no idea how to tell how my characters have changed.

At first, Torii was an awkward, reserved kid who had finally gotten a chance to be normal, struggling with things like self-esteem, sexuality, family (or lack of), and was still used to acting the way she had for several years: a soldier, which she wasn't.

Now, she's more open and confident, more sure of her beliefs and who she fancies than most other residents. She may he disagreeable, but she's proud of it, and she has many friends to look to now. Even though she knows how to fight, she realizes that fighting isn't her only option anymore, and she can try to act like a normal teenage girl, and wear what she wants, and hang out with other normal kids.


Katya was a reserved, uppity rich girl, absolutely terrified of her mother, hateful to her sister, always talking about being chaste and perfect, and always fighting with her friend, Edge.

Now, she's caught with two lovers and a baby, is more open and friendly, less reactionary, more laid back, and has even adopted a more casual tone and demeanor. She's also still scared of her mother, but she doesn't worry as much, and she gets along well with Tora.

Dimitrus....well, you know Dimitrus. thanks to being able to relax at the apartment, and meeting the Dunmer off screen, she's gone wild. Will see at night, IC.

Again, I'll always be interested in either letting people use my characters for whatever story they have, or throwing around ideas for stories. I'm going to get more involved IC, because I don't think I'm involved enough.
